Dominic stormed intop the Slytherin common room, throwing bag onto a couch as h passed it. He stood there, seething quietly, knowing full well that a temper tantrum here would get him nothing. Instead, he pulled out a quill and parchment, and began writing a letter, to his mother.
'Mother, is there no way you can convince father to take me away from here for good? I no longer wish to be at this idiotic school filled with insolent teachers and bimbo students.'
He paused in his writing, trying hard to put his anger into eloquent words so his mother would understand.
(oh yea, anyone can join this...I'm bored today....)
Sky knocked on the entrance to the common room. "Hello?" Sky said as she knocked.
Nick (I go by both names) threw down his quill in slight anger, "Stupid first years, always forgetting the password..." he muttered to himself. He opened the entrence then took a step back with surprise.
"Oh...your not a first year..." He said, rather stupidly.
Sky was worried the Slytherin would yell at her for being a Gryffindor. "No. I'm a fifth year. I believe I have a package for....you." She handed him a medium sized brown package. "The owls came late today."
Hailey walked in, feeling bored. She saw Sky and Nick talking so she walked over to the couch and sat down. She took out a magazine and started looking at the pictures in it.
"Uh...what's the name on it?" He asked, a bit too surprised to notice she wasn't SLytherin. He motioned for her to come into the common room and walked back over to his parchment. He pushed his stuff off one of the couches to make room if she wanted to sit down, his parchment fluttering to the ground in front of her feet. He didn't notice.
"Um..Nick." Sky smiled as she walked inside. "Wow..its um...dark. But nice!" Sky tried to save a compliment. She felt the parchment skim against her feet and picked it up. She didn't read it but noticed the handwriting was written hastily. "Is something bothering you?" She asked as she handed him the parchment.
He didn't hear her question at first as he took the package from her, looking it over. It wasn't from his parents, they always called him Dominic. He tossed it into his bag, then looked at her.
"Yes, it is dark in here. It's hard to see. Let's go into the hallway." He told her, standing swiftly. For some reason, he wanted to talk to this girl.
Sky nodded and followed him outside. She took a seat on the steps in the hallway. She looked at Nick. He seemed really nice.
Nick took a seat next to her, tilting his head to the side. He knew now she wasn't in LSytherin, but that didn't bother him too much. He wasn't sure what house she was in, but it didn't matter to him right now. He rubbed his eyes, tiredly.
"Yes, something is bothering me." He told her, frowning, "It's this whole place."
Sky looked around the hallway. "Whats wrong with Hogwarts? I must admit that some of the students here are...well...out there, but its not too bad otherwise."
Maddy walked into the hallway outside of the common room. She didn't care who saw her. She didn't care about anything anymore! She leaned against the wall and slid down until she was sitting down. She put her head in her knees and just cried. She was so confused about everything. Her friends, her family....... Whats wrong with me! She thought to herself. Her mother was dieing and she couldn't do anything about it. Her father didn't care about her. She was just so scared.
"Out there isn't the word for it. Everyone is so fake!" he slammed his fist into the floor in anger. "How many of them really care what's going on in the outside world? All any of them care about is parties. And the opposite sex. Now really, I like girls as much as the next teenage boy, but Christ almighty!"
He looked up at the ceiling in exasperation.
"Good point." Sky added. That was how everyone was. "We should go to Durmstrang!" Sky said jokingly. "I do wish everyone would take the time to learn something. No wonder why half of them can be so stupid. Ravenclaws are starting to dumb down even!"
"Why is everyone so fake?" Maddy mummbled a little too loud. She couldn't stand all the people who didn't care about their families or their friends. It frustrated her so much when all people did was giggle or laugh at their mistakes. She wanted to just leave and never come back!
He laughed bitterly, "And how many teachers actually care anymore?" He growled, "The only time I see any of them is when it's time for class. Shouldn't they be watching us? Taking care of us?"
"Yeah. I hardly ever see the Headmaster either." Sky looked at Nick. "Would you like to go for a walk? Get some fresh air by the lake maybe?" Sky figured this would help calm him.
"Why not...it's not like we'll get into trouble if we are out past curfew or anything." He scowled and stood, stretching his arms above his head.
Sky stood too and walked with him to the Lake. ((new topic or no?))
(Sure, if you want. You want to make it or should I?)
((I can. It'll be at the lake lol))
