*sirius was on his hands and knees on the empty forest floor, his eyes closed and all of his muscle's working. it was coming, the secret weapon had hidden in shadows for so many years. now it could hide no longer.*
"What the hell?" Ginny looked up, out of her window, towards the forest. She had felt power vibrations, strong ones. She jumped up, pushing open the window and climbing out. She ran to the forest, then caught herself around a tree as she saw Sirius.
"Sirius?"
*sirius didn't hear her. the tips of his hands had begun to glow a whitish color. it didn't make sense. why, after 16 years had it decided to show its ugly face? the weapon that had been placed in him after he had come to this time period. it was a bad weapon, stronger then any curse imaginable. stronger then anything. someone with this power would be able to kill someone with one glance. sirius didn;t want this power, but he had no choice. silas had been after it for a while, now he knew why. it was something that he would like. death with no limits. perfect for silas. the only problem was, sirius hadn't trained for it. he wasn't ready. he didn't know what to do with it when it did come.*
Ginny was amazed at the power that was radiating from him. She hadn't expected this from Sirius of all people. She was used to seeing such power, she had met the devil himself. But this came as a surprise.
*just when sirius's body felt like it could take it no longer, he fell limp on his stomch in the cold grass. his muscles' relazing. he kept his eyes closed tightly, he knew what this weapon could do. he just didn't know how to use it and he didn't want to open his eyes and kill the next person he sets his gaze on.*
"Sirius?" Ginny asked, softly, walking over to him, her footsteps soft on the grass.
*sirius didn't open his eyes.* oh hello ginny. and what brings you out here this time of night? *sirius said trying to avoid all that had just happened and change the subject.*
"I felt the need for some air." Ginny told him, ppicking up on his too-casual tone.
*sirius laughed without moving his teeth.* so i think i'm going to need some help i think with this whole thing.
"And what is this whole thing?" Ginny asked, sitting down cross-legged near him.
um well its kind of a long story...
well, you know how i'm just a normal wizard. i don't posses the elements and such that you and others do. i'm normal, except for a power like a weapon that was sort of placed in me that has been hidden. well i think i accidently sorta activated it. *sirius sat on his knees, looking not at ginny but the totally opposite way.*
"Accidently? How so?" She did not demand for him to look at her. She understood his fear of hurting those he cared for.
anger... *sirius said this lightly, beads of sweat running down his forehead. he could feel the change in his body and his muscle's ached more then they ever had. it all felt wrong though.*
Ginny nodded. She of all people understood how anger could make you lose control.
*sirius looked at thr ground.* can someone with powers...get rid of them? *sirius desperetly wanted to get rid of this now.*
"At times. Acquired powers, yes. Powers you have been born with, no."
Her answer was simple and truthful.
*sirius frowned.* now i just have to decide which it is...because i'm not entirely sure...
"Have you an idea what it does?" She asked, softly.
think of it this way. this thing, this weapon is the reason i was always defending for my life from silas lestrange. this is what he was after. it's stronger then any curse unforgivable or not.
Ginny pondered that for a moment, then shrugged.
"C'mon." In an instant, she was beside him, holding her hand out to him.
"You don't have to look at me if you choose not to, but we can't sit here all day."
*sirius took her hand, looking ahead he stood up.* allright...
"Think you can control yourself if we go to the school? Or do you need some place more away from people?" She asked, seriously.
i'm honestly not sure. i'm really scared ginny. *sirius said still looking forward.*
"You won't hurt me." Ginny told him, softly, "C'mon. We'll take you to an old place I don't use anymore. It's a solid and away from the school. Do you want me to call for Sarah?"
*sirius stopped, his eyes widened as he looked at the ground now.* ginny, you must know this. if i die without getting this power out of me or safely dealt with, it will be passed on to sarah. when i received this power, i had to choose someone who would posess it after my death. i picked sarah at the time because i thought it was a good power. now that i know what it truely is i dont want sarah having to deal with this. get her if you wish...but help me to control it before i see her. i would die if something happened to her because of me. *sirius said seriously and looking at the ground. it was becoming harder to walk now because of his muscle's being so sore.*
Ginny nodded, "Yes." She said, leading him into the forest.
*sirius didn't know where he was going. he didn't really care. he just needed help and he knew of only ginny who he trusted enough to let her help him.*
They reached a stone building, which Ginny entered without a second thought. She led him through dark halls, to a small dark room. She sat him down at a table, then went about lighting candles.
*sirius looked around as he walked in. he saw ginny out of the corner of his eye and felt warmth as he watched the lit candle dance off of her brilliantly red hair. he felt safe in here.* how did i never know of this place? i've been through these woods so many times, but never came across this...
"You think I would let this sit out?" She said, raising an eyebrowas she cupped a match and walked to the other side of the room.
"It was what I used as a prison..."
what do you mean...a prison? *sirius said as he looked at the wall in front of him.*
"This forest was once full of criminals as well as creatures." She told him, "I cleaned it up so students could enter safely."
She shook the match out, then looked at him, knowing he would not look at her.
"Now, why were you angry?"
*sirius kept his gaze on the wall he seemed to be transfixed by it.* i'm not really sure exactly...its all sort of fuzzy now. i think i was having a fight with jasmine my merfriend...well more like sister. but after tonightim not sure if she'll want to talk to me again...
"Hmmm...how do you feel now?" Ginny said, from his right. She was studying him and his mind waves.
*sirius didn't seem to notice that ginny was asking questions. he was just looking at the wall and answering.* i feel...weird. there's something inside me, it doesn't feel right. i feel angry at myself, but this is worse then anger at myself. i feel mad at everyone.
Ginny paused, "What can I do to help you feel better?" She asked, knowing all he needed for the moment was to calm his anger.
i'm afraid for this power. this may sound stupid but when i was little my father would tell me stories about a little lion who received a gift from his dad. a very powerful gift.*sirius remembered back when he was a child.* and my father being a supporter of Voldem0rt told me that the gift was amazing and more then any one lion could wish for. the day before i left his house, he said i was that lion in the story and that when i was born i had been chosen to have this power. but i knew it was bad because of who it had been passed through, a hole line of death eaters. i tried to hide it and hoped it would just die inside me. until i got mad tonight and...well you know what happens. i just want to get rid of it, now that it has been unlocked as my father would put it, people will be after me for it. and i dont want to be known as the evil person with death itself as his friend...
Ginny stepped closer to him, placing a hand on his shoulder lightly, "Sirius, you need to stop your anger. Become peaceful"
*sirius jumped at the touch of her hand.* ya well, its harder then it looks. *sirius said harshly.*
"I know." She said, lightly. Her hand squeezed his shoulder softly, then ruffled his hair in an encouraging way, "Tell me how to help. Do you want a drink? Something to eat? A punch in the arm? Tell me what to do to help you forget your anger."
*it was almost as though something had taken over in his body his eyes turned cold red and he turned and looked at ginny. immediatly his eyes burned from looking at her. he started walking backwords, his hands on his eyes. he hit the wall behind him and slid down it. sitting.* my eyes! *he yelled in pain.*
Ginny said nothing, but she watched him, still unsure of how stable his power was.
*sirius looked at the ground, his eyes burning red.* ginny, i don't want this in me! i don't want this power...i know ill end up like the other lestrange's...evil beyond beleif.
"Then you'll fit in with me and my deeds." Ginny said, truthfully.
can i start my record with your death then? *sirius looked at her with blood red eyes. anyone could tell that he wasn't himself. but his hands kept on figiting with his legs. like he was to different people at the same time.*
"You can make that attempt if you so wish." Ginny said, her voice sounding like gravel.
psh...your not worth it. *sirius spat at her. his hands were still figiting with his pants and now his body was making random jolts as if electricity was being sent through his spine only with no pain.*
Ginny nodded, her head hardly moving, "Yes, I agree with you on that." She didn't move other than that small nod.
*sirius looked up, his eyes green once more. he was smiling at ginny like any normal sirius would.* what would you agree with me on? *sirius asked her totally lost at what she was saying. it was like he hadn't been there before when they were talking...*
Ginny also underwent a change, she smiled and her body lost some of it's tenseness.
"Many things, I'm sure." She said, with a quick smile at him before becoming serious again.
"I think you should sleep here tonight until we have some way of controling your power, Sirius."
*sirius frowned at her then realized what she was talking about...* oh...ya right. sure, ill stay here. *he looked around.*
She nodded, "I'll make up a bed for you here. The only other places with beds are the cells. You don't want to go in there."
*sirius breathed a laugh.* ya...i think ill pass on that. *he tried to get up but his legs felt very weak so he stayed sitting there.*
She pulled out her rarely used wand and conjured up a comfey looking bed, placed against the wall.
"This room is wired and rigged. The only way to leave is to walk out. No magic will take you from this place." She said to him.
simple enough to remember...i hope. *sirius said weakly. for some reason it felt as though he had just ran a mile, even though obviously he hadn't.*

Ginny smiled. "Lighten up, Sirius. You'll be fine. I'll be in a room down the hall if you need me." She peered at him, "Are you hungry or anything?"
*sirius sighed.* ya...i guess your right. *he crawled onto the bed.* neh, im fine. *he closed his eyes, but then opened them. he looked strait at ginny for the first time this night, and even though he felt a sharp pain in his spine as he did this, he didn't turn away.* hey ginny, thanks...for everything.
"Of course. Besides it being my job, I happen to feel some sympathy for you." She told him, smiling. She gave him one last nod before slipping out the door and goin down the hall to another empty room. It was almost identical to the one Sirius was in, except for the color of the walls.
*sirius smiled and said to himself.* sometimes i feel the same way about you.
Ginny rubbed the back of her neck and instantly books filled the room, seemingly from top to bottom. She picked up the one closest to her and sat on the floor with it in her lap and began reading.
*sirius layed down in his bed and closed his eyes, then they shot back open, they were blood red once more. he smiled evily and clutched his wand in his hands. all he had to do was wait until ginny was asleep, then he could...then he would do it. just 2 words and she's dead. he though to himself evily. so he put his wand under his pillow and turned over on his side, planning it all out so he would be ready.*
Unfortunatly for him, Ginny wasn't planning on sleeping. Oh, she would doze later on, but never fully sleep. She had too much too look up, too much to read. She became absorbed in her book, the silence of the area pressing in on her ears.
*sirius continued to lay down, his red eyes reflecting off of the moonlight as he stayed there in the silence of the night. after about 3 hours, he got up. he didn't feel sore now so he walked easily. he crept to oustide ginny's door and looked through the crack, his wand at the ready.*
Ginny now sat with a diffrent book, her head propped up on her hands, her elbows on her knees as she read. She didn't notice Sirius at the door.
ginny. *sirius whispered with his normal voice but a little quieter.* am i disturbing you at all? *he said walking in, his wand behind his back now.*
Ginny jumped then glanced up, a tired smile on her face. "No, it's okay Sirius. Is there a problem?" She asked, standing and stretching. She set her book down on the table and faced him.
*sirius tried to keep his blood red eyes looking the other way so she wouldn't see them. his right arm began to mess with his pant leg again just as before. he looked at ginny.* oh nothing, i was just wondering if you could...*he quickly ran up and placed his wand on her neck.* hold still.?
Ginny didn't move, but wasn't scared. She didn't scream, or make any noise for that matter, "Hold still?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, "You think your pathetic wand will hurt me?" She muttered with scorn, noticing his red eyes.
"I'm afraid you've never seen me in battle." She was half bluffing. His spell had about a 50/50 chance of hitting her, she was able to instantly tranmute. But she didn't yet.
"Now, let me see Sirius."
*sirius didn't get suprised at what ginny had said, he wasn't worried or scared. he didn't know the difference in his head anymore. all he knew was he had an impulse to kill Ginny.* petrificus totalus! *sirisu said as his wand was still at her neck. the power that was taking over his body would tripple any normal spell he shot. so that is why sirius had said such a simple spell...*
Ginny's mouth clamped shut, but she wasn't completly petrified. She was still standing on her own, and her eyes were looking at his.
-You think you want to kill me, but you have no idea what you'd be doing if you managed that.- Her thought entered his consiouseness softly.
*sirius walked around and looked into her eyes. he could've easily killed her with one word and a look from his eye. but he held back curious as usual.* i know i want to kill you. but what do you mean i have no idea? *sirius said to her.*
-To kill me is to kill another.- She told him cryptically, -One who you;ll want to meet very much so in later life.-
and who would that be? *he said. he placed his wand to her neck once more.* Gin.
-Even I know not everything.- She told him, -I may be psychic, but I know only so much.-
*sirius glared at her.* no matter, i can survive without meeting this person. *sirius said.* expelliamus!
Nothing happened, as Ginny hadn't been carrying her wand. She stood there for a moment longer, -I will give you a last chance. That person is meant to save your life.-
(of course you dont have your wand...lol)
i think i can tell for myself whether or not i need this person in my life thank you very much! *sirius said angrily, his eyes still red as a setting sun. he held his wand at her throat once more.* crucio!

Ginny made a noise in her throat and collapsed to her knees, instinctivly wrapping her hands around her stomach. She closed her eyes against the pain, but refused to scream.
"Don't do this, idiot. I'd rather not have to kill my friend."
now ginny, *the demented sirius said above her words.* where's the power that i so willingly beleived you had?? *sirius didn't release the curse though he was losing conentration so finally he released.*
Mira walked around the forest under the full moon thinking she could hear thought being sent back and forth.
Ginny wavered for a second, then her foot shot out, knocking his feet out from under her.
As he landed, she jumped up, sitting on him and pinning his wrists to the ground. Her face was inches from his and she growled slowly.
"Just because I don't want to hurt you, doesn't mean I can't."
*sirius spat (literaly) in her face.* just because i shouldn't do that, doesn't mean i cant.
Mira knew she heard something now. She strained her ears to hear and walked toward the sound.
((BTW, Mira, there is a cloacking spell over the building, so you'll have to run into it.))
Ginny smirked, using her shoulder to wipe the spit off, then smashed her forehead into his. It made her dizzy, so she knew it hurt him. She shook her head, as blood started trickling down her face from under her hair line. Smashing her head off of his had broken the skin on hers.
Blood dripped onto his cheek, and she didn't even see it. She growled lightly, her eyes flashing in anger.
(Hey thanks!) Mira stopped walking and thought the sound was next to her close to her, but she saw nothing. She wlked to leave but ran into a solid wall. She put her hands on the wall feeling her way around until she fealt a door knob. She turned the knob and walked inside and was plunged into darkness. She blindly followed a narrow hall and followed her ears toward the sound. As she got ever closer she knew there was something not right.

Ginny's ears twitched as she heard Mira fumbling in the hallway, not far from them. She growled at Sirius again, her blood still running without slowing. And she was paleing, but she was angry, and wouldn't give up.
"I don't take well to people who try to kill me. You would do well to leave this host." She told Sirius's darker side.
*sirius eyes flashed green then back to red. his hands grabbed ginny's throat and he started choaking her.*
Both of Ginny's hands went up between his, seperating them with ease. This time she pinned his wrists to the ground above his head with one hand in an iron grip.
She took her other hand, making a fist and punched him in the cheek, forcing his head to move.
*sirius was surprised when he was punched. he turned back to ginny, smiling with his teeth red from his lip that had begun to bleed.* its going to take more then that. *then sirius's hands, that were pinned to the ground, began to move. not trying to get away, they started massaging ginny's hand.*
Ginny was confused, but refused to let her guard down.
"I can do much more, trust me." She growled.
(haha sweet i confuzzled you!)
*the reason sirius's hands began to do that was because it was sirius's good side trying to come out into the open. his eyes were now turning green to red then green to red. sirius began to try and kick ginny and do anything to hurt her. sirius's hands remained massaging hers, like sirius was making sure it was still her.if that makes sense.*
Ginny's wieght held his body still, making it unable for him to kick her, but she was still trying to figure out his hands.
"I suggest you stop moving." She scowled.
oh and what are you going to do about it? *sirius said to her looking in her eyes.*
"I could do several things." Ginny mused softly, but scarily, "I could tear your throat out with my teeth. I've done that before..."
*sirius kept his gaze on her, still trying to move around but not having much luck.* but im your friend...remember? im sirius black...*he said this softly.* your friend.
"I've killed many friends in the past." Ginny told him, growling. Her eyes were dark with anger, and it was evident why so many feared her and her power.
*sirius's hands began to figit even more now. he wasnt trying to break free. it was like they were trying to get her attention.* ohh im so scared! *sirius said tauningly to her. he never knew when to stop. he smiled and stuck his tongue out at her.*
She glanced at his hands and knelt down, her mouth next to his ear, "You should be, dear Sirius." She whispered, sending involuntary shivers down his back. Then she placed her free hand on his chest and whispered a few words, blue trendrils of light seemed to come from her fingers, seeing into his chest which began to tighten.
*sirius's eyes, though still red, stood still. his face was white and it showed his fear. he just stared at ginny as she did all of this. his hands stopped massaging her hand and he lay still.*
Then the light changed from blue to red, and changed direction, seeping into her fingers now.
"There is this thing called your life force. Chi, chakra, whatever you want to call it, it's what keeps you healthy and alive. And I know how to remove it from the body." She said, softly, but not sadly.
"I know you like Sirius's body, my dear demon friend, but if he isn't alive, neither are you."
Mira came around and nearly jumped when she saw Ginny and Sirius. She dashed back behind the corner and flattened herself to the wall.

*sirius stood still. his face deadly white still and his hands were becoming clamy. sweat fell across his face, mixing with ginny's blood on his cheak and sending blood down the side of his face.*
(I was walking in the forest and I ran into the building.)
"So either you allow the real Sirius to come out, or I'll take away both of your lives." Ginny told him, no remorse evident in her voice nor her eyes. In fact, she had this strangelittle smile on her face.
*sirius's eyes turned green and he stared at ginny.* ginny *he tried to say but it was a mear whisper now. he continued to look at her but with his kind eyes.* its....me. *sirius said still even softer. he closed his eyes slowly.*
Ginny looked in his eyes, bringing her face closer to inspect them. The magic she was performing began to slow as she inspected his face, since his eyes had now closed.
"Let it be known I am perfectly able to pull this out again." She said, knowing that whatever Sirius heard, his darker side would as well. Then she lifted her hand from his chest.
Mira feeling the tenseness leave the air came out.
*sirius winced as a sharp pain shot through his spine. he then blacked out.*
Ginny slowly stood, the flicked her wrist. Sirius's body floated in the air, and put him in a chair.
Ginny knelt down, holding her head for a moment, then looked up at Mira.
Mira's eyes were wide. "Ginny... What happened.... Is he ok?"
*sirius felt himself being lifted into the air but he kept his eyes closed. he was partly awake now, but very tired.*
"Sirius? Ginny is he allright??"
mhm...*sirius mumbled to indicate that he was awake, but stayed still.*
Mira sighed a sigh of relief and walked over to him. She looked scared. "Sirius that wasn't really you was it?" (you know when your eyes were red)
*sirius sighed and shook his head.*
"Promise never to do that again. I thought maybe you were going to... Well..."
"He can't promise that kind of thing." Ginny said, sitting down on the floor.
*siriu scratched his eyes and leaned his head back. keeping his eyes closed.*
Mira sat by Ginny. "Ginny what was it?"
"I'm not sure yet. I think it has something to do with an ulterior personality." She told Mira, rubbing her eyes and flexing her fingers.
"I see... Will it happen again?"
*sirius opened his eyes like little slits.* ginny, if it does. kill me before i kill someone else.
Mira's eyes grew even wider. "No you can't die! I... I..."
She looked at Sirius with interest, "Ok." She told him.
"Sirius you wouldn't kill anyone."
"Yes he would." Ginny said, simply.
Mira started to ponder this. "No Sirius wouldn't! That thing that was controlling him, though would."
Ginny looked at Mira for a moment, "And would I kill anyone?" She asked, softly, tilting her pretty head to the side with interest.
*sirius smiled and breathed a laugh.* she got you there mira. she got you by a landslide.
"I'm not sure I want to answer that." Mira said
Ginny pressed the issue though, "Would I, Mira?"
*sirius, still smiling, squinted tiredly at mira.*
Mira laughed slightly. "Yeah you would."
Ginny nodded, "But would you have thought that when you first met me?"
She shook her head, "No, I doubt that you would have. I know you have no way of knowing I've killed billions before."
Mira smiled. She knew Ginny was capable but not at first.
"So why wouldn't Sirius be able to kill?" Ginny asked her.
*sirius raised his eyebrows at mira.* you'd be suprised at what i can do...even without that demon in me...or whatever the hell it is.
"I know what you can do, but I also know what you will do."
"And I know what he will do with that demon inside of him." Ginny told her, her anger showing, "I'm not a psychic for nothing."
"I said what Sirius would do not that demon."
"You don't understand, do you Mira? Essentially, Sirius is that demon." Ginny shook her head, "That demon can not do anything Sirius himself wouldn't d."
"Yes Ginny I understand you. You just don't understand what I'm saying."
would you to just shut up about it! my head hurts*sirius said rubbing his forehead. he had a majoar head ache already and there bickering didnt help it.*
"And what is it you are trying to say, Mira? That I don't understand this sort of thing?" Ginny cut Mira a look that displayed emotions of annoyance.
*sirius glared at her. his head pounding.*
"No Ginny, I'm saying nothing of the sort." Mira then got up, walked over to a wall, and leaned against it.
*sirius looked at them. then he kept his gaze on ginny.* can you do anything for my head? it only seems to be getting worse! *his eyes flashed from there normal green to red for a moment while looking at her then went back to green.*
Ginny nodded and stood, and seemingly grabbing a bag from nowhere. She opened it, reaching inside and pulling out an apple.
"Eat this."
*sirius eyed her but then took it. he ate it quickly, practically stuffing it down his throat. partially because he wanted his head to stop hurting and because he was hungry already.*
Mira giggled to herself. Even if Sirius wasn't totally himself he sure had the same table maners.
Ginny nodded at him, "It had a special potion in it." She said, "Supposed to help with headaches."
Mira mutered something to herself, then said. "Hey Ginny so what exactly is this place?" Mira then shook a cob web away from her.
*he rubbed his head...slowly he began to be able to think clearly and every sound that he heard didn't hurt his head. he breathed heavily and closed his eyes. he folded his arms and scooted down on his chair, putting his head back.*
"And he lives..." Mira giggled.
*he rubbed his eyes still leaning back. then he leaned forward, placing his elbows on his knees and placing his hands on the back of his neck.* personally i'd rather be dead.
"Personally I'd miss you..." Mira smiled.
*sirius smiled.* yes, you out of millions who im sure would rather have me dead then me accidently killing there family.
*sirius sighed and shook his head and running his knewly scarred hands through his hair. he yawned a quiet yawn and looked at ginny.*
*he noticed she had been quiet for a while. he thought maybe she was just thinking about something or someone.* ha, probably Xaver. *he thought to himself. he looked at her again, with his beautiful green eyes, taking in every detail of her posture, her face, her hair, her clothes. anyone looking her way would see a stressed woman. sirius looked to her hands and swallowed, he had seen the blood that she saw on her hands, he had seen the things that made her dreams turn evil in the night. anyone passing by would only see ginny, the stressed out woman. they couldn't see what she saw deep down. that frightened sirius slightly. everyone had secrets of there own, and now he was apart of them with this weapon that had been released.*
"I have no family..." Mira said blankly.
*sirius looked at her with limited interest but he was intrigued slightly...* what do you mean? *he said to her slowly, really confused.*
"I meant exactly what I said, I have no family"
*sirius sighed.* how come? *there wasn't much else to say like that.*
"People die because of other people sometimes... Then the people still living have a score to settle. Why do you think I hate Silas so much?" (I din't know who should have killed my family but I chose Silas.)
*sirius looked at the ground.* i understand how that feels....but wow, i never realized...silas.
Ginny had been silent thus far, but not because she was thinking of Xaver. She always thought of him, he was behind every thought. But he wasn't at the front of the line for this. She rubbed her eyes and stood, "Please. No more talk of death." She told them. With a sweep of her hands, the books that filled the room dissappeared.
*sirius looked at her again. something was bothering her. he could feel it. he just couldn't put his finger on it.*
*it was obvious that she wasn't hurt, but...still there was something. maybe it was something that had to do with all of the books that she had just made disappear. that could be it. but what was she looking up? sirius was intrigued by ginny's private nature at the moment. he wondered what it was.*
sorry ginny. *sirius said looking at his dry hands with little interest.*
She nodded, then spotted a book she had forgotten. She picked it up, riffling through the pages, then leting it dissappear in her fingers.
*Sirius looked around, sad that she had gotten all of the books. he looked back at her.* so what were the books about? *he said tired of just looking, he wanted to know what was going on with her lately.*
She frowned, her eyes shadowing over, "Nothing much." She shrugged. While it was true they didn't provide alot of light on what she wanted, they were interesting.
