Ginny lay in the leaves on the forest floor, looking up at the tree tops. Her hands under her head, her eyes half closed. She was clothed in black sweatpants and a dark red long sleeved shirt. A Black hoodie lay beside her, half folded. She hadn't moved in over an hour.
She felt numb, she had cried for hours and had no tears left. She felt emotionless, though hours ago she had burst with so many emotions. Now she was varying between anger, happiness, and sadness.
Ginny didn't know which was the one she should feel, and which weren't. She was frightened, but not so much as she was saddened.
Sarah was walking towards the forest when she saw Ginny crying and she headed towards her.
"Ginny what is the matter." Sarah then looked at her.
"Did something happen." This new ginny scared her bad. It was not something Sarah was used to seeing with ginny.
Blaze was walking through the forest when he noticed them, "Hey, anything wrong?" he asked when he noticed there worried faces.
((Not crying, reread muh post! Lolz))
Ginny looked at both of them, slowly sitting up and wrapping her arms around herself.
"Nothing." She muttered.
Ginny's eyes looked a bit red. "Well I'm pretty sure something is but you don't have to tell us" he said.
The wind suddenly picked up, whipping around the trees and causing more leaves to fasll. A deep red on fell on her hair and she reached up, snatching it off and crushing it.
"You'll know eventually." She said, "By the end of the night, most likely. By the end of the week for sure."
"Ginny your lieing I can tell." Sarah then looked at her.
"Plus I'm not going to leave you alone till you tell me what it wrong." Sarah then sort of smiled.
"I mean that is what you would do right."
Ginny half shrugged, rubbing her eyes and mashing the leaf into dust. She opened her hand, letting the dust blow away with the wind.
"I suppose."
Sarah then sat down be side her.
"I'm ready when ever you want to start"
Ginny hugged herself as tightly as she could, not looking at Sarah, but seemingly starring into space.
"Let's go for a walk, guys." She said, standing up slowly, Leaving her hoodie on the ground and keeping her amrs around herself.
Sarah stood up and put one of her hands on Ginny.
"okay we can walk just talk to us,:
Ginny shrugged Sarah's hand off and glanced at Blaze. "You can come if you like." She muttered, walking through the leaves.
As they walked, she made diffrent faces, coenciding with her diffrent emotional moods at one second or another.
Blaze smiled at the invitation and walked with them, wondering what was on Ginny's mind.
"Are you two going to be at dinner tonight?" Ginny asked, suddenly, looking between the two of them.
"well ya I was thinking about it. Why." Sarah siad as she looked at Ginny not sure what was going on.
"Try to be there, hun. Then you'll know for sure."
((Okay, time skip. Skipping to the start of dinner, before they get the food.))
As students filed into the Great Hall and took their seats, Ginny stood in front of the teacher's table, her hands behind her back. She was watching them, sadness evident on her face. A few of the teachers gave her worried glances, then looked at each other.
As the students quieted down Ginny cleared her throat, indicating she wanted to speak.
*sirius snuck in just as ginny had stood. he had fallen asleep and he had just woken up. it was quite obvious to. even though his hair was normally sticking up, this time it was even more untidy and even he thought that was impossible. he sat down at his own Hufflepuff table and glanced at ginny, noticing her gaze he frowned. something wasn't right...he could feel it.*
"I have been at Hogwarts for eight years, a student for only five. I spent much of my life protecting this school and it's students." She began, watching each of them, "I love this place, it'e people, it's magic."
She smiled slightly, "I have been told I'm a good teacher and a good friend, neither of which I believe. But I love you all, even some of the nastier Slytherins. "A few of the green and silver clad students snickered at this, before she continued, "Which is why I am sorry to say that this is my last week here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."
Her soft voice was followed by a long silence, during which she slowly turned and went to the door. She pulled it open, glancing back, "Eat your dinner. You need your strength." She told them.
*sirius's mouth dropped...he couldn't move...he couldn't speak. a few hufflepuffs around him seemed to notice him and try and get him to snap out of it. but he couldn't. after a few minutes of mind numbing staring he got up. he ran past the teachers to the door that ginny had exited, ignoring the few words from the teachers, and he opened the door.*
Ginny was already starting up the hallway, running one hand through her red hair. She stopped at the steps, touching the banister with a kind of nostelgic look on her face before she began upstairs, heading towards Gryffindor tower.
*sirius ran through the door and saw ginny's red hair glistening in the moonlight. he ran up to her. still awe struck.* ginny! *he said running up to her.* what's going on?
"I'm quitting my job. That's what." Ginny said, glancing back at him. She looked very sad as she turned to face him, her standing a few steps up.
"Don't worry about it."
bu...but why are you quitting?? *sirius asked her still worrying.*
She looked at him for a moment more, shaking her head slowly. "I have to leave this place. All places. I can't stay here."
Sarah heard what Ginny said and to was out with Siruis running after her.
"Ginny you can't leave. I mean none of us are ready to fight. If you leave the school will be doomed." Sarah felt she could fight not that she would win though.
"I need a good reason why you are fighting.
"I'm afraid I don't have to explain myself to students." Ginny said, softly. She turned and continued up the stairs.
*sirius followed her and kept on.* well where will you go from here? i mean...what will you do now?
"I have enough money in Gringotts to never need to work again." Ginny said, glancing at him. She stopped walking and looked them both fully in the face for a long moment.
"Hogwarts is fine for a few years." She said, dismissivly, "Besides that, I have more important things to worry about now."
"oh I see. You can train us but when stuff starts to get hard you can leave with out telling your friends what the matter." Sarah was mad but did not mean to burst like that.
"I thought we were friend."
"Hard? What will come to you is not hard, my dear." Ginny turned, her sardonic mood showing in her eyes, "What I am doing will be hard." She scowled softly, then shivered, almost violently. She wrapped her arms around herself, suddenly feeling like ice. She knew why.
Sarah knew not to be mean but it was just how she is.
"Ginny don't try to expain yourself now. I mean I don't want to hear it. Let her go Siruis. I mean she is like everyone else in my life. I should have known." Sarah then let a tear fall.
"When I start to trust them they backstab me."
"Oh yes, because it's all about you, Sarah." Ginny rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"Well, honey, I've got news for you. It's not all about you, and it never will be. My life doesn't center around you, and it shouldn't have to. If I wanted to backstab you, dear, I'd do it in a much more cruel way." Ginny told her, her words like ice hitting Sarah with each word.
Blaze was shocked when he heard the news, he went up to find Sarah, Ginny and Sirius having a breaking chat. He sighed painfully and looked at them. "Come on Ginny, atleast don't leave now"
"forget it Ginny." Sarah then turned to head towards her dorm.
"I mean I know the world don't revolve around mt but I don't think that we wanted to lose a friend like this even if we don't know really why your doing it."
"If you needed to know, I'd tell you. But it's in your best interest if I tell you nothing." Ginny told her flatly, "It's the last service I do for you guys. By not telling you anything, you are telling the truth when you say you know nothing, and my enemies will know that."
She went up a few steps backwards, nothing on her face showing how she felt like ice. Her fingers were even turning blue, but she had her arms folded, and it was impossible for them to see that.
She now looked to Blaze, after a moment of silence, "I have to leave now. It's the only chance I'll get."
"fine leave but don't come back to me when you need help." Sarah then looked at Siruis seeing what he was going to do.
*sirius just stood there then looked at sarah.* baby, go on back down to dinner. i'll be there in a second. *he kissed her lips lightly.*
"No one said I'd need help." Ginny told her, looking her right in the eyes. Then she turned and began up the steps again, walking slowly though as she was tired and freezing.
Sarah looked at Siruis.
"I'll be fine. I'm going to my room to sleep. I mean I am not hungry." Sarah then we toward her dorm to get ready for her walk in the forest.
Ginny shrugged as Sarah left, really not oo worried about it. She knew what she was doing and why. And as far as she was concerned, it was safeem all to not know.
Sarah got into her room and grabbed her long black hooded cloak and then left to go to the forest.
"This is driving me crazy but I have to get over it." Sarah was saying to herself has the walked out the Great Hall.
Sarah then headed into the forest. She was able to take care of herself.
Maya had been sitting there. Waiting for what she didn't know. Maybe happiness, something better than what she was feeling. She had a huge secret. If she told it she would be known as something horrific. She grabbed the knife next to her. She looked at it. It seemed, for some weird reason comforting. She felt numb. She wished Death would come and take her away......life was just so difficult. She wished that someone would just kill her. That would make her feel so much better. Life was just pain to her lately. Friends were now enemies. Enemies seemed friendlier than before. She wished for one day life would be normal. No fighting,no thoughts of death, just be........... :'(. She sat there. Tears swam in her eyes. They fell down like rain falling on her leg. She wiped them away hoping no one saw. Her life was complicated enough. Worrying about her brother, friends, family. It was ENOUGH!!! She'd had it.
*sirius caught up with ginny and looked into her eyes. his turning light light blue..* hey, ginny. listen...im really sorry about sarah she gets emotional and angry at the same time. i mean, i dont blame her...its hard losing a friend at this school. but i think its good for you to leave here, no offense, its just...you have your whole LONG life ahead of you. and personally speaking, it shouldn't be wasted inside these walls. so what im trying to say is...we'll all miss you, but everyone's gotta go there own way sometimes... *sirius turned and started walking slowly down the steps, his hand on the railing.*
Sarah sat down in the forest just staring into space. She had no clue why she over reacted.
"I sure hope ginnys not mad at me. I mean I did not mean to."
"Sirius...I'm glad you are trying to be a bit understanding." Ginny told him, before running up the steps to get packing.
yea...sure *sirius muttered watching her go.*
Ginny sat in her room, finishing her packing when a photo album fell to the floor. She glanced at it, but was folding clothes.
