"Mom... I'm tired of all the drama!" Alison yelled to her mom Lana as she slapped her cell phone shut. She had just gotten off the phone with her best friend Lacy. "I wish we could just move away!"
Alison was so afraid of what was to come next... after all that went on over the summer. School was only a month away... Her eighth grade year.
"Well Hun, your wish just might come true..." Her mom studdered. Lana was sitting at the computer scrolling down the screen.
"What do you mean?" Alison asked as she walked over to the computer to see what her mother was looking at.
Lana turned around, not allowing her daughter to see what she was looking at.
"Well..." Her father Jason hesitated as he walked into the den after a day at work. "Um..... Your mother has been offered a new job... and I have found a higher paying job... but... they are in Miami..." He stummbled through his words.
((YOUR MOVING!!!!????!!!!????))
( NO! ;D)
omg
Guys! I'm not moving! This is a FICTION story! I made it up! LOL! Post what you think of it.
((ok sorry!!!))
I think that it is really good but you need to add more details of the surroundings to develop a clearer picture
very good.
hey you are doing a very good job!!!keep going ok you are relly good at this.
Alison was afraid to think of what her parents were trying to say... She didn't want to move... she didn't want to leave her friends behind.... Alison walked up the stairs of their two story suburban home outside of Boston, Massuchussets. Walking into her bedroom she pulled her Samsung Slider out of her pocket and pressed two, the speed dial number of Lacy.
"Lacy.... I'm... I'm moving..." Alison studdered after she had answered the phone.
"Wha... What?" Lacy practicly screamed after hearing what her best friend had just told her.
"My mom got transfered... I'm moving to Miami...."
"But you can't... It's our eighth grade year... Who am I supposed to graduate with... Who am I supposed to sit with on the bus on the way to volleyball games.... What am I supposed to do without you?" Lacy began crying. It was as if her heart was broken. She couldn't let her friend since 1st grade leave.... it just wasn't possible. "I'm dreaming... or else you are lying..." She mumbled.
"I only wish...." Alison sighed. She began thinking back about their childhood together. She layed down on her bed and stared up at the blank ceiling as she held the phone against her ear.
The next day was here and Alison didn't want to have to say goodbye to her school, and all her friends. She got out of bed and began getting ready for school.
"7:00", Alison muttered as she looked at the clock. She put on her favorite pair of light colored jeans, a simple off white tee with olive green lace at the bottom, and a cropped button down jacket. After straightening her hair and putting on her makeup on, she walked into her brother's bedroom, straight across the hallway from her's.
"Are you ready to go?" She asked Collin, her brother.
"Yeah...." He replied in a bummed voice.
really good... it has an interesting plot
( Ha-Ha! Thanks guys!)
Alison and Collin walked down the stairs together. They turned right into the kitchen to get breakfast.
"Goodmorning!" Lana said excitedly. She was putting breakfast on the table. It was french toast sticks and bacon.... this was a little over the top for a week day.
The kids sat down at the bar where the plates were sitting. "Yeah...." They replied in unison.
"Come'on guys! Lighten up! It will be a new start!" Jason said as he walked into the kitchen putting on his suit jacket, he was off to work as a lawyer. "Bye Honey... Bye kids!" Jason walked out the door to the garage and got into his car.
"Alison, Collin, why don't you guys go get into the SUV. I will be there in a minute to drive you to school." Lana said as she began cleaning up the kitchen.
They slid off the stools and slipped out the door into the garage. "Wow... This really sucks..." Alison practically yelled once the two were in the car.
"Yeah... I really don't want to move!" Collin began crying.
"Aw... Buddy it will be okay!" Alison soothed.
Just then Lana got into the car and shut the door. It was overly silent on the way to the school, only a three miles away. "Guys... I promise you that you will love Miami!" Lana tried to lighten up the air. "You will get to swim all year round! Also you get to make new friends!"
"It just won't be the same." Alison muttered.
Just then they pulled up to the school and they hopped out. Alison walked into the main lobby alongside her brother. It was their last day at Boston Bridge Highschool.
Alison walked over to her friends who were sitting together on the floor. "Hey..." She said.
"I'm gonna miss you!" Samantha, her cousin, exclaimed as she hugged Alison.
Then all her friends got up and hugged her. It was Samantha, Lacy, Gracie, Hannah, and Addie.
"I don't want to move...." Alison began to cry. She couldn't take the fact that she may never see her friends again... never!
aww sad!
The school day had flown by... the last thing that Alison wanted to happen today. She walked out of the school after the final bell. Lana was parked in the line of parents waiting to pick up their kids.
"We will miss you...." Her friends said in unison.
"Promise you'll call?" Lacy asked, her eyes filled with tears.
Alison nodded as she raced up to her friends to give them one last hug goodbye.
Apparently more than just her friends had heard that she was moving. Most of the guys in their class came over and joined the group hug.
"We'll miss you!" Ethan yelled as he hugged Alison goodbye.
She laughed as she wiped the tears from her face... "I'll miss you guys too!" She giggled. "Bye!" She cried to everyone.
Getting to the car she began to realize that she was leaving her life behind... What's yet to come....? She thought to herself.
"Hey Ally...." Her mother said to her with a look of longing in her eyes.
"Are you alright Mom?" Alison asked Lana.
"Yeah... It will just be weird no longer being her in Boston.
"It will." Collin said from the back seat.
