It was late, and rain was falling onto the already snow covered ground. As Ginny walked down the street towards the Hogshead, she knew it would turn into ice in a mere hour. It was that cold out, and the rain had been coming down all day.
Only an hour ago, Ginny had left her house, kissing Cody's forehead and softly explaining to Xaver that she had something to attend to. The two dark haired beings had given her hugs and kisses, telling her to come back when she could.
Her boys. The two people she loved most in this world.
And tonight, she'd have to deal with one of the people she hated most, to be able to deal with someone she hated even more.
"My enemy's enemy is my friend..." She muttered to herself, not really believing it.
She stepped into the old, dusty pub, shaking her head to free the rain from her hair. She didn't bother to hang up her cloak, just let it disappear from her. Her bright red hair reflected off the candle light, catching the intrest of many men, mainly on sitting at the bar. He nodded to her and she scowled inwardly as she walked up to the brown haired man. "Mahn." She said in greeting, sitting beside him.
Mahn smiled, his teeth flashing white and sharp in the gloomy light, "Ginny, what a pleasure to see you. And how have you been?" Ginny winced slightly as he spoke, his voice still cutting her nerves after all these years. He noticed with another smile.

*Sirius, who had just had a bad fight with one of his collegues had decided to have a drink. well after an hour his one drink had turned into 5, and after 5 he had lost count. he sat in the corner of the pub with another empty glass of fire wiskey looking around. he saw red hair, and even though very drunk by now, realized who it was immediatly. he would always recognize Ginny's beautiful hair. he breathed heavily, just staring at her hair for a moment, getting lost in it. then, for some off reason to which he couldn't explain, a very vivid picture of Xaver flew to the front of his mind and he coughed the fire wiskey that he had been savoring in his mouth up, spilling it all over the table. Xaver's picture, to whom he had met once, was so vivid it was like he had just seen him in the dark pub that he was in. he shook his head and looked around and to his thankful pleading thoughts he saw no Xaver.*
Ginny hadn't noticed Sirius at all, she was too busy forcing a smile at Mahn. She nodded her head as she sat next to him, ordering a drink and giving him the once over. She was checking that he hadn't brought any weapons, which he hadn't, as far as she could see.
"Pleasentries are not necessary, Mahn."
He laughed outloud, his voice carrying in the pub, and he nodded, "As usual, you waste no time."
*Sirius breathed heavily and stood, losing his balance and tripping over the chair beside him. he patted the chair and laughed before walking over to the counter and ordering a water. he nodded his head to the bartender and had to hold the glass with both hands just to keep from dropping it. he smiled lazily and walked back to the corner of the room but along the way he had to pass by Ginny and the man. Sirius being very drunk at the moment was stumbling along his way when he accidently ran into a waitor, thus sending him flying backwords hitting the floor and his head hard and the water flew out of his hands and...well...into the man's lap that Ginny had been talking to.*
Mahn jumped up, his good looking face contorting, changing demon like. He reached down, grabbing Sirius by the front of his shirt and pulled him to his feet. His eyes were stormy, and he was about to give Sirius a shock of a lifetime when Ginny stepped in, quietly placing a hand on Mahn's shoulder.
"Don't. It was an accident. He's not me. He can't take that kind of hit." Her voice was soft, almost pleading.
Mahn raised his eyebrow and let go of Sirius' shirt, giving him a small push, "Be thankful for this woman." He told him.
*Sirius stumbled backwords and looked at Ginny, realizing he had thrown water on the man that she was with. he smiled, his eyes big and there beautiful bright green color.* Ginny! *Sirius said still very drunk, he stumbled over and had to steady himself on her shoulder.* wow! you hair! its....its so red! *he marvled at it like it was the fourth of July.* ya know... *he looked at her dazedly...* i dont know...if...if i ever told you this.. but your, your really very pretty Ginny! *he blinked and looked at Mahn and took his hand, shaking it violently.* Xaver? is that you? man...i was hoping you wouldnt be here... *Sirius frowned and scratched his head, still leaning on Ginny for suport.*
Ginny flushed pink when he told her she was pretty, embarrassed for him. Mahn raised his eyebrow when he mistook him for Xaver. He looked to Ginny with disgust, "Maybe you should take care of him. I'll talk to you some other time." With that, he lifted a hand as a wave and walked from the bar, disappearing as he stepped out into the freezing rain.
Ginny, flustered, sputtered after him, "W-wait!" But it was too late. She turned to Sirius, upset, on the verge of tears, "Dam.n you!" Her eyes teared up, and she struggled to calm herself, "What is your problem lately?!"
"You've been acting so strange anymore, Sirius! Why?" She was remembering all the times past that he had been strangely uncomfortable in her presence.
*Sirius's eyes turned purple even though he didn't really feel any emotions at the moment from being so drunk. he blinked and leaned against the bar, looking at Ginny.* what's wrong with the way i act around you huh!? *Sirius said a little louder then normal, his eyes turned red from anger at her accusations. even though a big part of him knew she was right.*
how do i act Ginny...how? *he spluttered and ran his right hand through his silky black hair, breathing hard through his nose and looking around. he turned back to her.* ya know...ya know i thought a girl...woman....oh whatever the hel1 you are would realize it when...*Sirius looked at the ground, shaking slightly, sweat running down his back. he looked at her through the hair that had fallen over his face.* ya know what...no...nevermind. *he stumbled out the front door into the freezing rain, still very drunk but not enough to tell her...not yet.*
Ginny stood still for a moment, still very angry. Then she cursed herself as she grabbed her cloak and followed Sirius. If he got hurt while he was drunk, she'd never forgive herself. He was a friend after all. Outside, she grabbed his arm, turning him around.
"Come on. Get back inside. You'll get sick out here."
*Sirius violently pulled his arm trying to walk away still.* NO!
*he walked a few paces away before stumbling in the muddy grass that he had found himself in. he fell to the ground and just lay there on his side and staring at his muddy hand sadly.*
Ginny followed him, standing above him, her eyebrows raised. She pulled her cloak around her tightly and shivered, "Idiot."
*Sirius sighed and looked up at her, having to squint so as to not alow any rain to fall into his eyes. he sighed and continued looking at her, becoming almost entranced by her look in the rain.*
She put out her hand, indicating for him to take it so she could help him up.
"Come one"
*Sirius sighed and lowered his head sadly. he took her hand and slowly stood. when standing he realized he was cold and was covered in rain and mud. he shook his head.* im such a idiot. *he slurred in a mutter.*
"It happens." Ginny said, leading him back towards the pub. Her hand went from his to his wrist, leading him gently but firmly.
"Let's get you some coffee."
*Sirius nodded, letting her take his wrist even though he felt so uncomfortable. he walked slowly, his head was aching and he was still slipping and sliding on the ground. another discomfort adding to his list. he secretly liked her touching his hand, even though he knew she didnt feel that way and it was so wrong because of there other relationships. he sighed, and smiled as they made there way to the pub once more. *
She pulled him into the pub, forcing him to sit at a table as she ordered them both coffee. She raked her fingers through her wet hair as they waited for their order, still upset about Mahn leaving.
*Sirius sat and looked at the table, smiling like a little child for no apparant reason. he was just running his fingers through the wood, sitting there all innocent.*
Their coffee came and she pushed a cup towards him, "Drink it." She muttered to him, her anger returning.
She stirred her own, letting some of the heat escape while she tried to figure out what to do next. It had taken a month to track Mahn down. What now?
She looked up, frowning at Sirius, "And get that silly grin off your face."
*Sirius's widened at the anger that he saw in her. he quickly drank and looked at her again.* whats your problem? *he said setting the cup down on the table and watching as it sloshed over a bit and seeped into the tiny cracks on the table.*
"You freaked him out, made him leave." Ginny shook her head, "I don't understand you. Ever since you found out I had a son (no one knew till the OPEN rp one in the Ministry) and Xaver came back, you've been acting so wierd."
She rubbed her forhead, "What did I do to make you hate me?" She muttered, more to herself.
*Sirius took a big sip, trying to think of a logical answer. he placed the mug down again and placed his hands flat on the table, looking at her.* again Ginny, i expected a smart girl like you to realize it by now. *Sirius blushed and looked into his mug again.*
"Realize what?" Ginny scowled at him.
(gotta go)
*Sirius sighed and wiped his mouth furiously with the back of his wrist.* that i like you! *he blurted out finally.* God, you'd think you would have noticed! *he didn't want to say anymore. he looked out the window, placing his hands on the top of his mug and laying his hand on the top of his hands.*
"Huh?" Ginny was confused, not understanding his choice of words, "Of course you like me, your one of my friends, aren't you?"
She looked at him for a long moment, then cmprehension dawned on her face, "Oh." She looked at him for a moment longer then, "Ohhhh...."
She didn't know what else to say.
*Sirius lay his chin on the top of his hands, staring at the table. he looked up at her for a moment, into her eyes, then returned to staring glumely at the coffee on the table.* exactly. *he muttered to her quietly.*
There was a long pause, an uncomfertable silence, "Well...why?" Ginny asked, incredulesly.
She kept her face impassive, emotionless.
*Sirius supressed a sarcastic laugh.* ha, what's not to like? *he looked at her for a moment, then looking shyly at the table once more.*
pretty, powerful, nice...only the few things that it think about when i see you... *he leaned back and took another sip of his coffee uncomfortably, he set it back down on the table and crossed his arms, relaxing a bit but still nervous.*
Ginny shifted, stirring her coffee, looking into the cup.
"Uh..." She cleared her throat, "For how long?"
*Sirius looked at her then looked away, shy for once around a girl. he breathed heavily looking out the window, not wanting to look at her. he thought for a moment even though he already knew how long it had been...he looked at her, acting braver then he felt.* since that night, in the forest...when we kissed. but that's not the only reason why...i was the only friend there and i guess...i guess i realized that even though you can seem so strong on the outside, you were truely hurt by what Xaver had done and i guess i liked to see you like that, you had feelings. *he smiled slightly and continued.* i mean, i know you have feelings...but i never knew that you, all powerful Ginny Weasley, could crack that easily from the loss of one man. i wanted that, so thats why i kissed you. just to see if i could be that man *he shrugged and looked out at his hands on his lap.* its stupid really.
"Uh..." Ginny's mouth formed words, but she couldn't get them to come out, "Why didn't you say anything before I left Hogwarts then?"
please Ginny...what am i supposed to say? *he said bitterly looking into her eyes.* you would have said something like,
your really nice but we're just friends.
that's how it always seems to happens.
Ginny nodded, slowly, "I suppose you're right. Especially since I found out I was pregnant only two weeks after the thing with Conan." And that had been only a week after Sirius had kissed her.
So his feelings had built up, and now they were both increasingly uncomfertable, "So what do you want me to do?"
*Sirius shook his head.* please, the last thing i wanted was for you to find out. now though...you can't do anything. you have Xaver...and i have...*he breathed heavily.* i have Sarah.
Ginny sighed, "Aren't you happy with Sarah?"
*Sirius thought for a moment.* yeah...most of the time. but i think she likes someone else as well as me... *he looked at her and took another sip of his coffee.*
Ginny scratched her head, "Why do you think that?" She asked, still trying to figure out why Sirius felt the way he did.
*Sirius smiled and cleared his throat. he ran his fingers through his hair and leaned back in his seat.* just the way she acts around this one guy...always hugging him and saying how amazing he is and how lucky... *he paused.* his girl is to be with him.
She nodded, still slightly uncomfertable. She really didn't know what to say to him now.
*Sirius sighed.* and now you see why i didn't want to tell you...i didn't want us to be like this...uncomfortable around each other and such, that's what i was trying to prevent from happening...
"You were obviously uncomfortable when I showed up with my son." Ginny said, her tones low, "Even more so when Xaver came back."
well...yes. because i thought that he was gone forever...and then he shows up again and everything just changed! just like that! *Sirius said sitting up and placed his hands on the table.* i mean, how would you feel if the woman who you adored and loved showed up one day with not only her old love but a son to!
"Let's get one thing straight," Ginny said, looking him in the eye, "You don't love me. You may think you do, but you don't."
She shook her head, "Besides that, you were married to Sarah by then. What was I supposed to think?"
*Sirius sighed. he wasn't in the mood to argue.* i didn't expect you to do or think anything! i just thought you had gotten over Xaver...and to have him just poof back into your life i was surprised and slightly angry!
"Why? What difference did it make to you? Do you really think you would have left Sarah and raise Xaver's son?" She scoffed, "I doubt it, even if you did love me. Which you don't."
She shook her head, "Why should you be angry? Would you have rather I never had my son? Would you have rather that I hadn't allowed Xaver to come back into my life?"
i don't know what i wanted then! all i know is, i saw you with him and everything changed! no im not saying i would leave sarah to raise his son with you because...because...because i'd know that you'd always see Xaver in your son and you'd always be thinking about him. i know that now. *Sirius rubbed his head, it had begun to hurt painfully. his eyes flashed red with anger as he stared at Ginny for a moment before looking away.*
"Well, you better get used to how things changed, Sirius." Ginny said, standing slowly, "Because Cody isn't going anywhere, and Xaver asked me to marry him."
great, have a wonderful life with him and just forget everything i said today. *Sirius said looking out the window glumly, trying not to make eye contact with her.*
Ginny scowled at his tone, grabbing her cloak again, wrapping it around herself, "I just realized. You don't know what love really is." With that, she turned on her heel, heading out the door.
*Sirius swallowed the lump in his throat as he turned and watche her leave. sadly and angrily he layed his head down on the table looking out the window sadly.*
Ginny stomped off into the freezing rain/ice storm, not really caring about how cold it was. She was so riled up, she didn't see someone lurking by until his hand shot out, grasping her arm and stopping her. She turned, scowling, recognizing Mahn immediately.
"I thought you left." She told him, her voice stiff.
"Changed my mind, love." He said smoothly, smiling at her. Calling her love wasn't to express affection, it was to make her shiver. Which she did, much to his satisfaction.
*Sirius saw Ginny with the man he had accidently spilt his water on up a ways away from the pub he was still sadly sitting in. even though he was angered and hury by Ginny at the moment he was interested to see what would happen.*
Mahn tightened his grip on her arm and Ginny clenched her teeth.
"No need to hurt me, you know." She told him.
He smirked, "Actually, there is. You see, my plans have changed."
Ginny felt a wave of fear, "What do you mean, changed?" She showed nothing on her face.
Mahn shook her arm slightly, "I mean, where I had no use for you before, I do now."
"Let me go, Mahn." Ginny told him, her anger growing. Mahn has almost killed her on several accounts, his game being one to bring her close to death then jump back and laugh. He was sadistic, and wouldn't kill her on purpose. But he would cause her as much pain as possible.
Even so, Ginny hadn't fought him in a long time. They both knew she was out of practice, "How about...no?" He told her, giggling softly.
*Sirius saw the man with his arm on Ginny's and knew something was wrong.*
*Sirius may be stupid, he may be weak, and he wasn't really on the best of terms with Ginny, but whether she believed it or not. he felt something about her, maybe she was right and it wasnt love...but it was pretty close to it. he stood and put on his jacket and walked outside. ever so slowly making his way over to them.*
"You have problems, Mahn. Get those from your grandfather?" Ginny said, frowning. She knew she shouldn't have said that. Even before he stopped laughing.
He was silent, his eyes burning now with silent anger, "Silence, Ginvera." He sneered.
*Sirius walked over to them and tapped Mahn on the shoulder.* hey, is everything allright here? *he smiled to him.* oh and i'm truely sorry about earlier...i didn't mean to spill that water on you. im afraid to say i was a little drunk then.
Mahn turned around, his smile reappearing instantly. He truly was psychotic, "No problem at all. The lady here and I were having a small discussion."
Ginny growled, "Actually, I was just leaving." She said, not looking at Sirius or Mahn. He yanked on her arm, pulled her close to him so he could grab her other arm.
"`fraid not, love."
hey hey hey buddy. *Sirius said stepping forward as the man had grabbed her arm.* now the lady said she was leaving, so why don't you just let her leave ok? *he stepped forward and looked at him.* just let her go dude....
Mahn smiled, his slightly pointed teeth glowing white in the gloom, "I'm afraid I can't do that."
oh yeah? and why is that? *Sirius asked him angrily, his eyes flashing red.* she's already got enough men in her life to deal with so why don't you just make all our lives easier and leave.
"Because, she's alive today simply because of me. If it weren't for me, she'd have been dead. She owes me her life." He ignored Siriu's eye color, not concerned, "And would you happen to be one of those men she worries about? Tsk tsk, Ginny. You do know how to pick them." He laughed, "First Conan, then the guy who left you, know this slobbering drunk?" He chortled softly.
Ginny scowled, "Shut up, Mahn. You know nothing."
*Sirius breathed heavily.* ok, you can make fun of me all you want but no one makes fun of Ginny. *Sirius said angrily. he really wanted to punch this Mahn guy but knew better, if he was anything as powerful as Ginny then Sirius could just as easily die as he could pull out his wand.*
"Except me. You see, she does nothing to stop me. So who's left? You?" Mahn laughed, throwing head back as though enjoying a good joke.
"Mahn, just shut up!" Ginny snapped, her eyes dark with anger. She pulled on her arm, trying to get it from his grasp, but he yanked it, pulling her forward a step with the force.
"No, Ginny. You shut up." He told her, smirking at her anger.
*Sirius couldn't believe what he was seeing, it wasn't the first time that he had seen Ginny being controlled by another man, Conan to be exact, but with Conan she had at least faught back, he swallowed and continued, braver then he felt.* why don't you just let go of Ginny's arm and we can all leave and no one will get hurt...ok?
"I have a better suggestion. You will leave, not get hurt, and I will take Ginny with me." Mahn told him, frowning at Sirius.
"No. I already told you I'm not going anywhere!" Ginny told him, her voice raising. He raised his eyebrow at her, with intrest.
"I already told you. You will come with me." He told her, his voice quiet, but with force. Ginny had obviously met many men who were stronger than her, men who were controlling and psychotic. Mahn wasn't the worst, but he was up there. Although he was attracted to her, he thought of her as disposiable, and that brought his attraction down a few levels. What he really admired about her was her willingness to be hurt in order to spare others. He didn't understand that.
Ginny placed her free hand on the wrist of his hand that held her still. She wasn't using magic, she was using her nails, digging them into his skin, "Leave him alone, and let me go."
I'm not going anywhere without Ginny. wherever she goes with you, you'd better believe your sorry a.ss that im coming too. *Sirius said with force staring back at Mahn with total disgust and dislike.*
Mahn looked down at her hand, his wrist now bleeding and smirked. "Ginny, you get more and more firey each time I see you." He laughed, but didn't let her go. "What's next?" he taunted, "You gonna hit me, darling?"
Ginny paled slightly, "Shut up. Leave him alone. He's done nothing to you."
"But he sticks up for you. What is he to you? Your new lover?" He smirked at them both, "Really, you were better off with that muggle Conan."
*Sirius looked at the ground meekly, then shook off that moment of weekness. he stared at Mahn and was so close to doing something. he so wanted to but was trying to hold back. he swallowed hard, his eyes still red, his jaw clenching.*
"Shut. Up." Ginny said, tightening her grip on his wrist, "I'll tell you again. Let him alone and let me go. I want to go home." As she said the word, she thought of the place, seeing Cody and Xaver in her mind's eye. Instantly, she wished she hadn't. Mahn's face lit up.
"Home? And what is at home?"
*Sirius looked at Ginny for a moment. why did it matter if Mahn knew about Xaver and Cody. he stepped forward, facing Mahn.* home to her is anywhere that you aren't. so i think Ginny and i should be going now... *he stepped next to Ginny.*
Mahn glanced at Sirius, now ignoring him. He had seen the panicked look on Ginny's face. He brought one hand up, still keeping hold of her arm and touched her temple. He held it there, smirking soflty. He could see her thought, not only hear them now.
Ginny struggled to keep her mind clear, to give him only white noise. But Mahn was a highed level psychic then she, and would be able to penetrate any blocks she put up.
*Sirius had had enough. Ginny may hate him but he couldn't just stand there letting her be controled and pushed around by the arrogent man standing before him. he brought his hand that had formed into a fist back and punched Mahn. he didn't care anymore if he would get into more trouble then he already was in, he just wanted to see this man paying for what he was doing. he hit Mahn squarley in the face.*
Mahn let go of Ginny's arm, stepping back and bringing a hand to his nose, which had started to bleed. Ginny gasped, her hands covering her mouth. Her wrist was bright red from where Mahn had held her still.
"What the F!@#?!!" Mahn swore, looking at the blood on his hands. He scowled darkly, clenching his fists and taking one step towards Sirius, hitting him in the side of the face with a force that rocked them both.
*Sirius had realized it was coming right after he himself had hit Mahn. nnever had he expected this much force to be brought into one punch. he lost his balance as Mahn's fist shot into his face and fell down on his side.*
*after a moment of complete pain he slowly stood again, his eyes red with anger and his wand out. he had absolutly no idea what he was doing, but he was so angry now that all he could see and wanted to see was himself hitting Mahn again and again and again.*
Mahn's jaw was set, and he didn't reach for a wand. He had never needed one, not even when fighting Ginny. He turned, grounding his feet and clenching his fists as Sirius raised the wand. His eyes met Sirius and in that moment, he smiled. An uncaring, psychotic smile, "Trust me, boy, you don't want to do this."
"He's right, Sirius, don't." Ginny spoke up, taking a step towards Sirius.
*Sirius glared at Mahn. he had lost all sense or reason and he didn't care what happened, his jaw was numb and his gums pained when he spoke.* i cannot let you walk away with taking Ginny against her will. *he said angrily, trying not to move his mouth to much so it didn't hurt.* i would rather die then see some egotistical demon like yourself think your better then everyone by hurting her. *he was meaning Ginny of course, it just felt weird to say her name...*
"Demon? No, boy. I am no demon. I am more human than anyone I have ever met." Mhan said it all with that psychotic grin spread across his face.
"Sirius, don't." Ginny said, placing a hand on Sirius's arm, "He won't hesitate to hurt you."
*Sirius's face turned a slight pink when she touched his shoulder but didn't leave his eyes from Mahn's when he spoke to Ginny.* yes...just like he wouldn't hesitate to hurt you. i would much rather be hurt then you.
"Yes, but you can't take it as well as I can." Ginny insisted, urgently.
Mahn had enough, he took three steps towards Sirius, pushing Ginny away and hitting him in the stomach with his fist, hard. He brought his leg up, kicking Sirius in the chest forcefully.
"Stop it, Mahn! You'll end up killing him andf you don't kill!" Ginny shouted, stepping in between them.
Mahn growled darkly, "There is a first for everything, my dear."
*Sirius stumbled backwords from the force of both hits. he fell to his knees, clutching his chest and stomach, his wand still clutched in his hand. he looked up at Mahn angrily through the pain in his chest.* crucio! *he shouted angrily at him.*
The curse hit Mahn in the shoulder and h crumpled to the ground with a scream. But as soon as the curse lost it's effect, Mahn jumped up, tackling Sirius. As they both hit the ground, Mahn hit Sirius in the face repeatedly.
*Sirius was caught off guard and could do nothing as Mahn hit him for a moment. before he started trying to punch him back, missing at times but he would snatch his ear every once in a while. he started kicked mahn's legs to try and get him off but it wasn't working very well. he reached for his wand that had fallen from his hands when he fell but he couldn't reach so he began to punch back again.*
Ginny bit her lip, knowing she couldn't take on Mahn, but also knowing she had a better chance than Sirius. She stepped forward, grabbing Mahn's shoulders and pulled him off Sirius. Mahn stepped back, brushing off his shirt and scowling darkly. He looked at Ginny for a long moment and stepped toward her, "What is this?" He muttered, looking her over, "Have you found some nerve, you spineless little girl?"
Ginny took a deep breath and postioned herself, bringing her hands up and looking him in the eyes, "I've always had more nerve than you, Mahn!" She retorted.
*Sirius stayed on the ground and rolled to his side, coughing up some blood from his nose which was bleeding and that felt broken. he stayed on the ground one moment then slowly stood and leaned against the wall, grabbing his wand. he was not through with the ignorant fraud Mahn.*
*he held his wand in his hand shaking slightly but keeping it pointed at Mahn who was distracted.* crucio! *he shouted forcefully once more hoping to have the same affect that it did last time on Mahn.*
Mhan dropped to the ground again, but was up quicker than a snake. He jumped at Sirius again, this time snatching his wand and snapping it like a twig. He trew it away from them and looked at the two of them.
"Hiding behind a boy who can only use a wand. Pathetic, Ginny." He told her.
*Sirius hadn't even seen it coming. now he stood, useless. he wiped blood of his nose which was still running and looked up at him. then he stood upright, not leaning against the wall. he turned quickly and where Sirius had been before now was a very angry Snuffles, his blood red eyes still showing even in his dog form. he growled violently at Mahn and started running forward, his teeth showing angrily. he headed for Mahn's leg with anger.*
Mira walking down the street she had been with a friend, a drunk friend at that and she wanted to drive her home, she flat out refused and now Mira walked the streets for a while blowing off steam. She was ready to punch the next person she met. She saw a shadow around a corner and held her fist high only to see Ginny and stopping herself just in time. She saw snuffles and a man. She knew they were fighting, but it seemed to unphase her. "Ginny whats going on?"
"Sirius still ins't sober enough to realize he's going to kill himself." Ginny muttered, running both hands through her hair. She knew Sirius and Mahn would both be angry at her, but at this point she didn't care anymore. She held out both hands, palceing her palms together, then pulling them apart swiftly. Simultanously, Sirius and Mahn were pulled about 20 feet apart.
Mahn slid across the ground, ending up on his knees while he tried to fight Ginny's telekinesis physically. He finally stopped fighting it, looking at Ginny with anger.
"Useless girl!" He spat.
*Snuffles whimpered as he was placed feet away as well. he looked up at Ginny slightly angry, slightly sad because he was very happy to have bitten him. he turned back into Sirius and glared at her.*

"Yes, but who is the other man?"
Ginny and Mahn starred at each other for a long moment, then there was two loud beeps, coming from Ginny and Mahn wristhingyches. Ginny didn't look at hers, but Mahn pulled his arm up, inspecting the watch. He grinned, "Gotta go." He said, fading out of view. Ginny just kept looking at where he had been and slowly sank to her knees.
"d**nitalltohell." She muttered in one breath.
*Snuffles watched him go before turning back into the very badly hurt Sirius. he moaned and leaned against the wall, slowly sliding down it. his shirt was very dirty at this point and slowly blood had dripped onto it. his face wasn't as bad but under his noes there was a lot of blood running down it although his noes had finally stopped bleeding. his ribs and stomach hurt very badly and he slightly wondered what internal damage Mahn had cause him. he closed his eyes and sighed.*
Ginny looked over at Sirius, forcing herself to stand. She walked over to him, kneeling beside him. She touched his chest, gently.
"Idiot." She muttered, frowning, "I told you not to fight him."
ya, and i told you i love you. *Sirius said squinting slightly at her.*
Not thinking, Ginny began administering first-aid to him, frowning at the blood, but dealing with it. She didn't look at him as she pulled out her wand, tapping his shirt. It tore in half cleanly and sh conjured up bandages and water, cleaning off where blood was coming and began wrapping up his ribs.
Silenlty, she began to cry, shaking her head, "You don't know anything, do you? You are such an idiot. You don't know what love really is. You don't love me, you can't. You don't know how to love someone like me. You've never been through hell..."
*Sirius looked at her.* even if you don't believe that i love you. i do. but in know i have to stay away, i mean, i've got no choice...i've got Sarah, and you've got. him. *he said the word him with a tone of dislike. it wasn't the fact that he hated the fact that Ginny was with Xaver, but Sirius was still jealous that he had her and well...of course that he was so powerful. Sirius was jealous in both senses.*
"You don't understand. You are so wrong on so many friggin' levels! You don't love me! It's impossible to love someone like me!" With each word, she tightened the bandages jerkily.
*Sirius winced as she tightened them.* Ginny, one thing i don't understand is why you beat yourself down like that! you've got a husband and a child! i think you've come a long and good way so why beat yourself down? you have so much!
"You don't get it!" Ginny pulled the bandages, tying them off and wipping at her eyes, "You don't have the ability to understand! You haven't seen hate like I have. I know what true love is only because I've destroyed it!"
*Sirius looked at her.* and yet somehow you managed to find it again in Xaver! so if you can, i can. *he said staring into her eyes slightly angry at her stupidity..*
Ginny growled, deeply, tears still in her eyes, "Xaver says he loves me, and I'm inclined to believe him. But that doesn't mean I take his word for it. Love is more than likeing how the other person looks! It's more than likeing the way they act! It's more than a few words and some touches!"
is it more then rather dying before you do so i never have to spend a day without seeing your face? is it more then your heart aching everytime i see you? more then knowing that all we can ever be because everytime i want more, i have to remind myself of the one you love? is it more then that Ginny? because all i do is feel that way. never have i felt that way for any other girl in my life! i hate the fact that i feel this way because i know that no matter how much i may want to have our relationship grow, i know it cant. *he looked away.* because we have our own lives and family now.
Ginny stood, pointing her wand at the water and extra bandages, "It's about being happy that the one you love is happy. Even if they aren't with you." She told him, firmly and queitly.
*Sirius laughed.* and why do you think i went out here? to get my a.ss kicked by Mahn? well he.ll all i have to do is kiss you again and i'd be dead in a second by i'm guessing Xaver. *he smiled for the first time in about an hour.*
Mira had no shocked look on her face. She had guessed, but never really truely thought she was right. Again she repeated: "Ginny who was that man?"
Ginny ignored Mira, scowling at Sirius, "No. By me."
*Sirius had to laugh at this, he smiled to her.* ya, didn't think about you...*he looked at the ground.* ...for once.
Mira stood there becoming annoyed with the bickering. All she wanted to know was ho that man was and why he was trying to kill Sirius.
Ginny eyed him angrily, "Occupy your thoughts with something more important."
Mira only became more annoyed as time went on. She didn't like being ignored.

Ginny refused to see the humor in the situation and her eyes darkened slightly, "You aren't taking him seriously enough."

Mira walked over her hair was weighed down by rain now. "I'm sorry, but can you please explain what is going on? I mean I kind of want to know what is going on when my friendst think they are going to die!"
Mire whirled around and only over Draco the rain seemed to worsen.
Ginny turned, throwing her arms into the air angrily, "What do you want?" She said, annoyance showing in her face. She scowled at him now, "Why don't you just go lick the Ministry's shoes."
well then why not kill him firt? i mean, you could couldn't you? *Sirius said looking at her, his eyes flashing from green to orange as he noticed Draco.* well, if it isn't another little rat.

Mira stepped in between Draco and Sirius. She knew he was not fit for any fight.
"Draco, what do you want? I've no time to deal with you." Ginny scowled at him, pushing her wet hair away from her face.
"No time to deal with me? Ahh..then I should definitely stay for a while," Draco said, with a smirk.
"Draco, I have a child at home waiting for me. I'm not putting up with you." Ginny pushed past him, refusing to look at Sirius again as she did so.
*Sirius watched her go then turned to Draco.* now why'd you have to do that? *he was still wanting to talk to Ginny. find more out about Mahn, it wasnt the fact that he was afraid of him even though he was, he just wanted to be ready...if what she said was true about him coming after him. he glared at Malfoy.*
Mira looked at Draco with a look that could kill. All of a sudden a lightening bolt struck the ground a few feet left of Draco. Mira's eyes turned white as the lightning did so. Then she saw she missed. "Rats!"
*Sirius smirked at Mira.* its probably for the better anyway, Draco's father has so many of the ministry workers information that he could blackmail any of them. in a few minutes you would have all of them after you. *he felt his nose and smiled at Ginny's amazing health restoring abbilities.*
"At least he'd be dead... I'd gladly go to jail for that."

Mira stood up just tired of Draco. "Dam*n it Draco just get the hell out of here. I'm really not in the mood for any of your crap." She kept her hand on the pocket her wand was in.
*Sirius smiled, he may be useless, but he had almost forgotten Mira beside him. he would be safe for the time being if Draco tried anything.*
Then Mira leaned against the wall. Her hair by this time was completely soaked covering her entire face with little straggly pieces. She pulled her rain soaked cloak around her tighter as a small wind blew past.
Draco look at them and smirked. "Oh, you two are undeniably pathetic," he laughed.
Mira had had enough and she made her hands into fists so hard that her nails pierced her skin and tiny blood droplets spattered the ground. Her hair billowed out above her head like a strong wind. Her eyes turned white and red flashing between the two and a large chunk of earth rose from the ground and flew at Draco hitting him square in the chest, sending him flying back at least 3 feet. Mira stayed standing there her eyes now completely red, making the entire alley a hazy dim red.

Draco hit the ground hard, landing on his back. "Wh..what the bloody hell was that for?!?" Draco asked angrily and out of breath.
