*Sirius walked into the sun filled living room of his house and sat down, smiling. he placed his socked feet on the coffee table and turned on the TV to see if any more news had spread about the mysterious collapsing of two houses at one time. he knew it was Death Eaters' doings but it was still interesting to see what the muggles' came up with. he sighed and looked around after seeing that there were no new and endless leads, the room was a mess. he didn't feel like cleaning up though, instead he payed the owl that had just delivered the Daily Prophet and layed on the couch reading it. not wanting to do anything.*
Sarah walked in with her hands full.
"Siruis Black. Why in the world did you not clean this up." Sarah used magic to put the two bags away.
"I mean I gave you one simple job pick up the living room. What do you do instead you sit on the couch and watch Tv." Sarah then bent down and started to clean up the mess.
Sarah was mad and she siad something she should not have. "I bet if I was Ginny you would have done it."
Sarah then looked at him. "I'm sorry."
*Sirius glared at her for a moment.* yes but if you were Ginny i would be scared into doing rather then lectured about it for hours on end.
sorry...*he said looking at the ground. even though in truth, he wasn't sorry. his eyes flashed clear which they always did when he was lying and by now he had figured out that they did this so that is why he wasn't looking at Sarah at the particular moment.*
"Ya you would be scared. I mean you can't even keep your things away from the animals." Sarah was almost done cleaning the room.
"I have no clue why I even married you. I mean all you do is work. You have two wonderful daughters and a son that just like you that still has not mastered the technique of being a dog. All you care about is your work." Sarah was know in tears thinking about the kids.
"Then you get mad when I want to spend time with Xaver. I mean he is sweet and nice. Plus he spends time with his kids and overall his wife. I mean sometimes work gets to be to much and well you forget about me." Sarah stood there staring at him trying her hardest not to hurt him.
*Annabelle quietly crept out of his room. she had heard the usual talking of his parents, only this time there voices seemed colder then usual. she sat at the top of the stairs, hidden, listening.*
*Sirius scowled at her.* ya know, i'm so tired of you lecturing me about work AND if i hear one more compliment of stupid Xaver i think i just might hurl. *he turned on the TV, not wanting to listen to her.*
James saw Annabelle walk past the door and so he followed her. "Annabelle what you doing."
That when he heard their parents fighting.
"That fine you can sleep on the couch tonight in your own pig sti." Sarah then threw something hard at the Tv and broke it.
"Now you won't have something to enjoy the time down here with. I mean maybe now would would go spend time with the family you have upstairs. You know what I'm not lecturing I'm yelling and I will Compliment Xaver all I want. He seems to care what happens to his family." Sarah stood there she was extremly mad now.
*Sirius stood angrily.* what'd you do that for! *he said angrily and threw the remote down harshly on the table. he looked angrily at her.* fine, you want me to spend time with my kids! i will! i'm taking Annabelle and James to see there sister so that you can have some alone time with yourself. but by the end im sure you'll just end up talking to even yourself about Xaver. ha, that'll be the only one who cares in the end.
*Annabelle jumped up and down on her knees at the thought seeing Alexandra...but she saw the look on James's face and had the feeling that it wasn't something to be happy about.*
"annabelle lets go to our room before they know we heard." James then sadly walked a back to his room. He knew they had fights all the time but this might have been the last straw. James was not sure he wanted to leave his mom alone.
"Fine take them maybe now I can finally have some time to think. You will come back when they are annoyed." Sarah then smiled.
"Or when they ask you something you don't know." Sarah then used her wand to fix the Tv and clean the room.
"Don't come back expecting me to be all happy either because your wrong. I mean I'm so tired of putting up with you and all this minstry stuff. I mean I got out of that buisness for a reason." Sarah then used her elemetal powers to water all the animals in the next room since she had gotten better and since she could see throught the door.
"Oh ya try to teach James his elemental things today. I mean he was suppose to pratice in about 1 hour."
*Annabelle nodded.* ok then... *she got up and ran to his room* race ya! *she whispered to him.*
whatever...*Sirius said walking up the stairs and immediatly changing his mood, even though his eyes remained red with anger. he walked into James's room and found them both. he smiled.* hey kids! what do you say to going and seeing Alexandra today? *he hugged Annabelle.* huh? what do ya say!
"But Dad I'm suppose to learn how do to water today." James looked at him. James felt bad for his mom though. He knew that he had to cheer up though.
"I would love to go see her. I guess mom would change it."
Sarah had finished with this and walked into the kitchen and pulled a full 3 bottles of butter beer she just bought. She knew that she need hide them so she put them pack in the sack under the counter.
"Why do I always fight with him."
*Sirius thought for a moment and messed with James's hair.* i promise that right when we get back you can practice all you want with your mother.
*Annabelle excitedly jumped on Sirius's feet and wrapped her arms around his knee.* i wanna go daddy! *she said excitedly.*
"okay deal. Lets go." James siad sort of smiling.
Sarah figured there were gone so she was staring at the bottle.
*Annabelle smiled happily and ran to her room. she returned about five minutes later with a very pretty yellow and white picnic blanket looking dress with a light sweater.* ready daddy! *she said before holding out her arms indicating she wanted to be picked up.*
*Sirius smiled and picked her up as she wished.* so you ready James?
"Sure am Dad." James siad he was in some old jaded jeans and a tee-shirt.
"Lets go."
Sarah knew she should not. She had not touched a drop since before Alexandra was born.
*Sirius smiled and looked at both of his children, remembering for a moment the fight that had just occured with Sarah, but he tried to push it out of his mind.* now one question i have for you two kids is, how should we get there? we could you floo powder, we could walk, or we could apparate. which one?
James looked at Annabelle "you choose."
"I mean I don't care."
Sarah then decided to leave then there and go work.
*Annabelle thought for a moment.* hmmm...i wanna apparate there! i've never done that one!
*Sirius smiled.* ok but you wont like it. *he looked at James.* ready to go bud?
James smiled at him. "Yes dad I have been since you frist asked me."
James took his hand. "okay."
Sarah went back to the kicthen and got her some water to drink but she stared at the bottles as she did.
*Sirius held tight to them and he felt the normal rush off uncomfortable changes in his body and after a moment when he opened his eyes he was outside of Hogwarts!*
James opened his eyes and was there.
"Lets go now."
*Annabelle looked at Sirius, her face was white and she didn't look to good.* i never want to go apparating again.
*Sirius smiled and patted her head.* aww its always like that on your first times apparating...you'll get used to it after a while dont worry.
James sent to just his sister. *mom and dad faught we cam to visit.*
*okay be right there* Alex came out.
"Hi there Dad."

Sarah decided she could not drink them so she poured them down the drain leaving the bottles there.
*Sirius smiled.* hey sweety how are you doing?
*Annabelle's white faced brightened as she saw her sister.* hey Alexandra!!!
"Hi Annabelle." Alex bend down and hugged her.
"I'm doing good dad."
James could not holded any more. "You and mom going to separate."
*Sirius looked at James, wide eyed.* no James...*he rested his knee on the ground to be at his level.* no matter what happens that wont happen.
*Annabelle held out her arms to Alexandra indicating she wished to be picked up.*
"but ya were fighting hard today ya never do that." James then looked away because he was crying.
"I mean your never home."
"Come here girl." Alexandra picked her up. "I think this one saw it to dad."
*Annabelle smiled as she was picked up and looked at Hogwarts.* will i get to go there sometime?
*Sirius looked at James.* i know we were....and im sorry...but no. i dont think me and your mom could ever do that...not only just for our sakes, but for you guys too.
"But she was right your never home and when you are your doing work. I mean want to be able to turn into a dog really well before I come here next year." James siad still not looking at his dad.
"Well Annabelle you should get to when you turn 11. I mean I did when I turned 11. James will next year." Alexandra was trying to make the sister happy.

Then since she was tired went and laid down.
*Annabelle smiled excitedly, not really aware of what her brother and father were talking about.* wow! cool!
*Sirius sighed.* i know i haven't been there a lot. but im goint to now, i promise. work is just very crazy right now and i just have to be there a lot...but in a few days it'll all calm down again and we can all go back to normal and then i can show you how to transform any time you want.
James refused to look him in the eyes. "Fine whatever dad."
James knew this was not the first time his dad had told him that and not followed through.
"Annabelle I'm setting you down now I mean you are getting heavier." Alexandra siad before sending to just her dad.
*Hey it will be alright with him. I mean come on he taken it harder since you made that promise before and look at what happened.* Alexandra cared for her dad.
*Annabelle smiled and jumped down.*
*Sirius smiled.* well thanks darling. i always knew i could have you to back me up.
James smiled at Annabelle. "You don't have to jump up and down."
*Your wecome but I'm not taking your side. I'm protecting James since you have done that to him before. I mean he was heart broken* Alexandra sent.
i know..i understand...
*Annabelle laughed and poked James's shoulder.* your it! *She said before running away happily laughing and screaming.*
James smiled as he ran after her. "I'm going to get you."
*dad you should really go talk to mom. I mean ya need to work it out. I can watch these two*
*Sirius looked at her.* ya know...it feels like i just turned around and you've grown up into the kind of daughter that helps her father out. thanks. i will.... *he smiled to Annabelle and James.* ok you rascals! im gonna head back home for a few minutes ok? ill be back later.
by daddy! *annabelle yelled through laughter as she ran around.*
"well dad you did forget I got most of mom's genes. I'll watch them." Alexandra smiled.
"okay see you later daddy." James siad still chasing her.
"If you something the matter just tell me and the kids and I will be home." Alexdra smiled then ran after the little ones.
*Sirius nodded and watched slightly sad as his little babies were growing up and running around he smiled.* ya...ok. *he muttered as a reply to Alexnandra.*
*he turned and apparated home.*
Alexnade smiled as she started to chase after the little ones.

Sarah was sleeping in her bad.
*Sirius knocked on the door to there room and krept inside, he took off his coat and shoes and layed on the bed next to Sarah, placing his left hand softly on her upper arm.*
Sarah sort of shocked at this turnes around. "what do you want. I mean come on you left the kids alone."
Sarah was still mad that she had poured her butterbeer out. She just hoped Siruis had not seen it yet.
*Sirius pulled his hand away.* Alexandra is watching the kids so we can talk. what's wrong with us lately hun?
Sarah looked at him.
"I'm not sure. I mean I guess work." Sarah then looked away.
"Then the fact that I try to stay strong but all my babies are growing up and well I feel like I'm losing all of ya. I mean your never home."
i know i know. and im sorry, its just the ministry they are having me train hard. and its hard, balanceing both training myself and training James. but im really trying, and today...today i was just very sore and not wanting to do anything and im sorry. i should've cleaned up instead...
"No don't say your sorry. It was my fault. I started the whole mess. I mean all I need to do was clean it up." Sarah then stood up and walked to the door.
"Speaking of messes I'll be back I left one of the kitchen." Sarah then started out the door and down the stairs. She was going to throw the bottles away.
*Sirius nodded but then decided to follow Sarah and give her a present that he had picked up before coming home. he headed down the stairs stealthily. *
Sarah walked into the kitchen and started to grab a trash sack before she walked to the conter where 6 bottles stood empty. She started to throw the first one away.

*Sirius walked in the kithen with the beautiful red roses in his hands. he saw the bottles and froze for a moment, before throwing the roses angrily on the counter.* WHAT ARE THESE!
(Alexandra's 16, James is 10, and Annabelle is 5)
"Lets see they are emtpy bottles that I bought this morning before the fight." Sarah turned to him and remained calm.
"I did not drink a one of them I looked at them and then poured them down the drain. I mean I've not drank since I had Alexandra and I could not bring myself to doing it to day." Sarah said as she threw another one away.
and am i supposed to believe you? Sarah...we've both had a problem with those *he pointed at the bottles.* so how do i know you didn't just have one and hide it?
Sarah looked at him shocked he would say that.
"Well Sirius. I was going to have one this morning your right. Then we fought and you took the kids." Sarah sat down after putting the last one up.
"I thought while looking at them. You if I had one of this there would be no chance if we did divorce that I would get to keep the kids so I did not drink one." She then looked him in the eyes.
"If you don't believe me. Then fine lets take a trip down to the court house and sign the paperwork now. I mean I don't know if I can save this even for the kids if we don't have trust."
*Sirius sat down across from her.* i dont think divorce is the answer here, it would tear the children apart. maybe, maybe we should just...keep away for a while. *he swallowed and licked his dry lips.* i'll go and stay at my nephew's or somewhere and you stay here with the kids, if in a week or so we see each other and we've been better off without each other then fine. im just not ready to lose our marriage just because of this little thing. so what do you say?
Sarah looked at him.
"That fine. I mean for the kids sake. I mean this would hurt them. I mean who would they stay with if we did." Sarah then turned and threw the rose in with the bottles. "You might want to go get the kids and well spend sometime with them if they are staying here."
"I mean just don't make any promises to them that you can't keep. I can't handle having to cover up for you."
*Sirius's jaw clenched dangoursly as the roses hit the empty bottles. he nodded and stood. without even saying goodbye because he already felt guilty of the fact that he had sort of just promised James that him and Sarah wouldn't get a divorce, he apparated back to where his children were.*
Alexandra walked back over to him.
"so how did it go."
"Anabelle I'm going to get you."
*Sirius looked at his oldest daughter sadly.* not well. your mother and i have decided to live apart for a while. she'll be at the house with the kids and im going to go to my nephew's...
*Annabelle shreaked and ran away again, hiding behind a tree and catching her breath.*
Alexandra looked at him. "why. I mean you were suppose to work this out. I mean you promised James."
James caught Annabelle. "you ready to go home I am."
*Sirius looked at her.* ya...i know...now i dont know what to tell him. i dont want to tell them the truth..but im not sure what to do.
*Annabelle yawned and thought for a moment.* ya i think we should too...
Alexandra looked at him. "Take him out to eat and then tell him your going away for a while and won't be home. That the best i could say."
"Come on." James then walked to Siruis. "Dad we are tired."
*Sirius looked down at his children with the happiest of faces that he could muster.* your tired! *he smiled.* well that's a first. *he kissed Alexandra's cheak just as Annabelle jumped on her leg.* thanks sweetie...*he whispered to her before pulling Annabelle off her leg.* allright you little rascals what do ya say we go somewhere? i dont know about you but im in the mood for...*he paused and looked at James.* ice cream!
"your welcome I better get back to school." Alexandra siad as she headed off.
"well I was tired before you said ice cream." James smled happy.
*Sirius laughed.* well of course! *he looked at Annabelle.* you wanna try apparating again? *sh nodded meekly, not really wanting to but she knew that she needed to get used to it.* ok...ready? *he took james's hand and they quickly apparated to the ice cream shop in hogsmead he smiled at Annabelle who looked as she had before, but at the site of ice cream her face lit up like the fourth of July. Sirius laughed.*
James ran in the store and started to decided which one he wanted.
"Hmm so many choices." James had lowered it down to Peppermint of chocolate;.
*Sirius smiled and followed with Annabelle leaning on his shoulder. he walked in the store and messed with James's hair.* so buddy you figured out what you want?
"sort of I mean I lowered it down to peppermint or chocolate." James siad as he went to fix his hair his eyes never left the flavors.
*Sirius smiled and looked at Annabelle's tired face.* and what do you want little girl? *she whispered strawberry in his ear and he ordered two. one for himself and one for her. he set them down on a table and put her in the chair. then he went over and waited for James.*
"I think i want Peppermint dad." James said smile he thought that their parents had worked it out.
*Sirius smiled and ordered pepermint for james and handed it to him. he then payed with the little gold that he kept on him then sat down with them. not really sure what to say about everything with himself and Sarah.*
"thanks dad" James said taking a bite of his ice cream.
"where did you go today.I mean you left us there."
*Sirius smiled. the perfect way to tell them, but how? he took a bite of his ice cream and thought for a moment, he placed down his spoon and looked at them both.* your mother and i... well, here's the thing... how do you guys... *he couldn't find the words.* i'm actually going to go to one of your cousin's houses for a little bit and you guys will stay with you mother for a bit. your cousin needs some help and we're gonna just hang out for a week or two. then i'll be back. and your mother wanted to have some time with you kids because she thinks i'm hogging you. *he smiled and Annabelle laughed through a bit of ice cream.*
hogging us *she smiled with her nose wrinkled.* dont worry daddy i dont mind if you hog me.
*Sirius smiled and wrapped her in a hug.* well then i'll hog you everyday right when i get back. its only fair that mommy gets a chance with her little angels.
James stared at his ice cream. He knew something was up but was not completely sure.
"Okay that fine." He was said since his dad had promised to help him with his powers but he had decided it was better to just leave it alone.
*Dad I know your lieing but I'll drop it for Annabelles sake.* James sent to his dad as he took another bite of his ice cream.
*Sirius who had just taken a bit of his ice cream swallowed hard as he heard what James sent and coughed as the cold treat went down his throat.* what do you mean son? *he sent back smiling as Annabelle stuck ice cream on her noes and tried to lick it off.*
*well dad lets see.* James then took a bite of his ice cream before finishing *you told her that it was because you were hogging us. Come how can someone be hogging someone if they break promises and are never around*
James looked at him with tears forming in his eyes. He then left half eaten his Ice cream there since he did not want any more. *I mean you are always lieing to me and now you are doing it now to cover up the fact that you and mom might be getting a divore. I hate you. I mean this is all your fault*
*Sirius set his spoon down and looked at James.* hey Annabelle sweaty, James and i are going to step outside one moment, you just finish eating ok.
*Annabelle nodded in reply because she had a mouthful of ice cream.*
*Sirius stood and walked outside.* James come here for a moment ok?
"fine" James followed him out the door.
"what lie you want to tell me this time." James siad as he stood there waiting to see what was going to happen.
*Sirius turned and faced James.* i just wanted to tell you the truth. can you listen to at least that?
James stood there. "I guess I could. I mean i have nothing better to do."
*Sirius smiled...* you have your mom's sense of humor i see. *he sat down on the bench and looked in the window to make sure Annabelle was allright.* ok here's the truth. yes your mother and i are having some problems and that's why im going to your cousin's house for a bit. your mother and i have decided to spend a week or two apart and at the end if we realized that we were better like that then we may get a divorce.. *he swallowed coming to the realization that that could very well happen.* that's about it...
James looked at him with tears in his eyes. "You promise ya would not though. You promised."
James then went and hit him in the shoulder. "You promised."
*Sirius took james's wrists and placed them down, still holding them.* i know i know and i'm sorry. it's just the way it has to be sometimes, life isn't always perfect. i'm so sorry. *he looked at his son sadly.*
(ok then Maria must've just turned 5 then...) Mira walked up to the Black family door and knocked on it, her knocks quieter than usual. She waited outside wearing a pair of sweats and a hoodie. Her eyes were lighter than usual and she wore her rich colored, dark brown hair in a loose ponytail that draped around all the way to her shoulder, thus letting strands of hair cover her face.
Sarah went to the door and opened it. "Hi there mira how you been."
"okay. So how much longer can we go home." James just wanted to go back home to his room and cry.
*Sirius nodded and let go of his wrists. he walked inside and got Annabelle before bringing her back outside in his arms, she had fallen asleep at the table.* ok ready. *he whispered to James to not wake Annabelle.*
"Thanks dad." James siad as he grabbed her hands.
"Mira come one in."
Mira walked in. "I don't mean to impose, but could I hang for a while... Me and Danny had a small fight and we need space to chill off..."
"Hey I don't mind. I mean I would love to becuase it would give me someone to help take care of the kids." Sarah then smiled.
"I mean me and Siruis had a fight and well he is going to spend some time with his brother." Sarah then sat down.
"I mean we might be getting a divorce."
(brother? how about nephew teehee)
*Sirius nodded and apparated them all back to there house. he stepped inside.*
(well sorry about that)
James ran up to his room and slammed his door and started to cry.
"Mira I will be back to you. I think siruis is back." Sarah then walked into where her husband was.
"Siruis how was it." Sarah tryed to smile at him. "I'm sorry about this."
*Sirius walked upstairs to Annabelle's room and placed her in bed, she held onto his hand for a moment sleeping, then released it. he smiled and kissed her forehead.*
*he walked outside her room, closing the door and walked to his bedroom. he passed by James's door and stopped, listening. his heart almst broke in two to hear him cry but he moved on to his room. getting things he would need to go to his nephews.*
Sarah walked into there room.
"Siruis are you should we need to do this. I mean I walked pass James's room he is so sad." Sarah stood at the door.
"Siruis what I'm I suppose to do with a heart broken son."
*Sirius looked at her.* yeah well what are we supposed to do if we dont love each other anymore? just stay together for James's sake!
"We have to do something. I mean James has your heart. I don't want him to run and never trust people." Sarah looked at him.
"I'll try and go talk to him okay."
*Sirius sighed.* yeah...well i dont know what to do. i told him the absolute truth...thats all i can really do for him...
"Well I'll go check on him and Annabelle." Sarah then walked over and kissed him.
"I hope this works out."
*Sirius nodded and blushed when she kissed him. he picked up his bag and sighed.* i guess this is goodbye for a week or so. i love you...
"Well bye." Sarah said as she then walked out of the room to James room and opened the door.
"Baby are you okay. I mean you want to talk." Sarah sat on the edge of the bed.
"mother why is it you to I mean I did not know that you and dad were having problems why."
Sarah looked at him and was worried. *Alexandra hunny you think maybe you could take some time off of school and maybe help me out.*
*Alexandra smiled.* yeah, sure mom. *she packed up a few things that she would need, after all Hogwarts was on a little break so she could stay at home for a few days without missing school. she apparated home and walked upstairs with her things.*
*Sirius apparated to his nephew's who greated him happily and got him settled in to the place he would be living for a little bit. it felt weird to be in a place that he couldnt call home.*
Sarah walked out the door and smiled at her daughter.
"thanks so much Alexandra. It is just so hard. I mean I'm not sure what to do." Sarah looked at her.
James ran out the door to his sister and hugged her. His face red with tears.
"James how about tonight we all get together and do something for fun."
*Alexandra was almost heartbroken to see James this way. she picked him up, something that he hadn't done in a while, and squeesed him tight, holding him to her.*
James held onto her crying. He just wanted his family to work out. He looked her in the eyes.
Sarah stood there watching her kids. It broke her heart to see her son like this. "I'm going to go out side and sit by the lake."
Sarah went outside and watched the leaves fall she was wondering what everyone else would say when they found out. She sat on the ground with her arms warped around her knee's staring at the water.
*Alexandra placed her hand softly on his head.* shh, its ok it'll all work out in the end ok? they'll figure it out and we can go back to being a family again..there's no need to cry!
James looked at her. "I hate to have my mom upset. Then dad's always lieing. Then Annabelle don't understand it."
James look at Alexandra. "But I will try to stop crying. I mean i need to be strong for Mommy and Annabelle."
James sat down on the ground. "Plus if they do brake up I'll have to be the man of the house."
*Alexandra smiled and sat down next to him, leaning against the wall and crossing her legs. she messed with his hair.* ah haha i'm not sure you'll need to take on that responsibility just yet. besides, mom and dad have gone through worse times then this. *she smiled and she knew she shouldn't but she just got an idea.* i'll be you 2 bronze nuts that mom and dad end up staying together. *she held out her hand.*
Mira smiled at the kids and walked out to the lake by Sarah. "Sarah... I would say: Oh I know how you fell but I don't so well I can't"
"Well okay sure why not. I mean it was a present but sure I will." James siad smiling.
"No Mira don't you dare say you can't because of me. I mean becides I could use some help around here. I mean Alexandra really don't need to be out of school."
"Sure I'll stay and help with the kids... But looks as if you may need more than help..." Mira sat next to Sarah
Sarah looked at her confused.
"what do you mean more help."
*Alexandra smiled.* its a deal. *she looked at him.* so now what?
"not sure. I mean we need to make sure and watch Annabelle and well we should do something for mom. I mean she taking this hard." James looked at his sister.
*Alexandra smiled.* good idea. *she thought for a moment.* any idea's on what to do for mom though?
James smiled. "Well we could help take care of the animals more."
*Alexandra smiled.* good idea. when should we start?
"I don't know how about now." James siad looking at her.
(just never mind..) "Do you wanna head in?"
*Alexandra smiled and stood, he held out her hand for him.* sounds like a plan!
"well we better. I mean I have to break it to the kids and well Annabelle is going to be heartbroken." Sarah said as she stood up.
James grabbed her hand and stood up. "Lets go."
*Alexandra nodded and headed downstairs.* ok, who first?
"well lets take care of the dogs frist." James siad as she smiled.
*Alexandra nodded.* good idea. i'll go get some water in there bowls for them.
James smiled. "Okay. Well lets get some water."
James then grabbed some bowls and poured some water in it. On the way back to the room he tripped and poured the water down his shirt.

*Alexandra walked in with a bowl as well and had to giggle when she saw James. she set down her bowl and looked at him.* goodness.
"Sorry." James siad standing up soaked.
"well I'll try this agian." He then went to get another bowl of water.
*Alexandra smiled and while he was gone poured the bowl of water on her shirt so he wouldnt be sad about it.*
James walked back in and sat the bowl down before turning to Alexandra. "wow what happen to you."
*Alexandra blushed and shrugged.* i guess i tripped. *She smiled and walked in the kitchen to get yet another bowl.*
James smiled he knew that is sister poured the water down her shirt to make him happy and it worked. He was not going to say a thing though.
*Alexandra returned with a full bowl of water once more.* shall we try this again? *she said smiling to her brother.*
James smiled. "Ya I mean you might not spill it on yourself this time."

"Mom and dad really need to work this out."
*Alexandra sighed, set down the bowl and stared into the eyes of her brother's.* What would you say if i said...that there's a chance they won't work it out?
"don't say that I know they will. The always do. Besides if not I'm staying with mom."
Sarah sat in the kitchen getting dinner ready not sure what kids were doing.
*Alexandra gawked and glared at her brother.* James! *She said scornfully sounding almost like there mother.* That's no way to talk. Choosing sides already! That's very very rude!
James looked at her. "no it not. I mean mom's always here for me. Plus Dad breaks all the promises he makes."
James then sat his bowl down and with his back turned said "Your only saying that because it won't matter to you. Your in school and will only be home for holidays."
"Kids Dinners almost ready." Sarah shouted thinking that they were up with Annabelle.
*Alexandra swallowed.* Ok mom we'll be right in! *She responded to her mother's voice that sounded the same, but different all the same without dad around to reply.* Whether or not I'm at school makes no difference. This will affect me just as much as you so don't even say that it won't matter to me.
Sarah smiled at this she was going to talk to her kids about this over dinner so she went back to seeting the plates and getting the food and drinks on table.
"fine we better go get Annabelle though." James said standing up and walking up the stairs.
*Alexandra nodded slowly and followed him grimly up the stairs.*
James walked into Annabelle's room and over to her bed. "Annabelle wake up. I mean it is time for supper."
Sarah was siting at her seat drinking some water waiting for her kids to come down the stairs and in here. They were having rolls, mashed potatos, mac & cheese, and last chicken strips. Then they had milk, grape juice, and water to drink.
*How am I going to tell them that their dad might not come back.* She thought to herself.
*Alexandra picked up Annabelle and smiled to her.* hungry you Cutie pie? *She looked at James.* You hungry? I am! *She walked down the stairs with Annabelle in her arms and into the kitchen.* Hey mom. *She said placing Annabelle into her high chair.*
Sarah looked at her. "Hi there kids we really need to talk."
"Is this about dad." James asked.
"Well Baby yes. I wanted to tell you that me and your dad is not going to be living here for the week maybe longer. We had a fight and we don't know really if we can mend it." Sarah then stopped trying to think of what to say next.
*Alexandra swallowed and walked over to her mother, placing her hands [encouragingly but in a way that showed the daughterly tenderness that she had for her mother] on her shoulders.* We both have talked about it mum, we understand...
Sarah looked at her kids. "I know you understand but this has been going on since well ALex you were a baby."
She then took a sip of her water. "We have try are hardest to stay together only for ya. This time I don't know if it will work."
James got up and walked over and hugged his mom. "It okay I mean I will still love ya if it don't."
Sarah smiled knowing this was hurting her son inside. "How about we eat."
*Alexandra smiled, acting as though she was excited about the food.* Sounds like a great idea! I'm so happy i could eat Annabelle if i'm not careful. *She laughed lightly and sat down next to her mother smiling and looking at her family.*
Sarah smiled. "Now I could not let you do a thing like that so I will give you a great dessert."
Sarah had made on of her famous muggle pecan pies.
"Ya dessert" James siad trying not to think about any thing.
Mhhhm sounds great! *Alexandra said standing to go help her mother.*
Sarah looked at her daughter.
"Promise me something. Promise if this don't work out you wull look after your brothers, sisters, and father."
*Alexandra got tears in her eyes watching her mother say this to her. She smiled affectionatly and hugged her mom just to be able to feel someone else hurting more then she was.* I promise. *She stood for a moment just feeling her mothers warmth, not wanting to let go. She let a tear fall down Sarah's back.*
"Baby don't cry it will make me cry." Sarah held her daughter though.
"I mean I hate to say this to you but we have been fighting the whole marriage. I want to work it out so bad. I don't know how or if we can though." Sarah then looked into her daughters eyes.
"I will promise to try my hardest now lets get these little ones some dessert."
*Alexandra nodded and wiped her eyes.* Yes yes we must be strong for them. I mean, also its stupid really, I mean...you and daddy always get through this so there's no reason to be scared...right? *It was the first time Alexandra had called her father daddy since she got into Hogwarts. It felt comforting to call him this though.*
"Well ya your right." Sarah said as she lied to her daughter she was not sure at all if they could. Sarah then grabbed some plate put the pie on and handed two to Alexandra. "Here lets take these to your sister and brother."
