She could feel it lurking behind her. She had to run faster. Noelle ran though the forest, trying to escape the darkness behind her. "AHH!" She squelled as she tripped over a stump. She grabbed her ankle for it was throbbing it pain. Then she saw the figure agian and tried to get up. She reconized it as a dementor. She shook in fear as she tried to back away but her ankle made it hard. She looked around and yelled for help.
Mira stepped out of the trees behind her. "Expecto Patronum!" She yelles, as a golden tiger came out of her wand and went straight at the dementor. She watched him disappear. She knealt beside Noelle then and looked at her ankle, starting to inspect it. "He won't be back around here for a while." She murmered.
Sarah smiled jumping out of a tree. She was going to do the spell but Mira beat her to it.
"You know Noelle we would have been able to maybe help you better if you would not have run into the forest. I mean how many of us just wondered it." Sarah then smiled at herself knowing full well that she did.
"Uh... Noelle. What were you doing out here? And what happened to your ankle?"
Noelle grabbed her ankle again; it was trobbing in pain. "I... I was... It's a long story." She studdered, not wanting to tell the truth.
"Well guess what you have a lot of time to tell us why." Sarah said as she looked at Noelles ankle.
"Settle down, don't worry relax your ankle and let me see it." Mira said somewhat softly. She was concerned about Noelle and needed to see if her ankle was sprained, broken, or just hurt.
Noelle slowly pulled her hands away from her ankle and winced in pain. She slid it towards Mira. "I would tell you guys, but I hate being judged. And if you hear my story, your thoughts about me won't be good."
Sarah looked at her. "Really I mean come on you really believe that."
Sarah sat down. "I mean I have been a drunk, and been tortured by voledmorts people more times then I can rember so why would I judge."
Noelle sighed. "Well... Its... Difficult." She said softly.
Mira half listened to conversation and began to look at Noelle's ankle. She felt it and finally came to a conclusion. "Not broken, or sprained. Just hurt... bad." She said. She fished around in her small medical pouch and brought out a small pouch which she tapped once with her wand. She put it on Noelle's ankle and it was really cold.
Noelle shivvered. "Brr..." She said, wishing her ankle would quit hurting. "Thanks... For helping me and everything."
"I won't pester you about it but I wish you would tell me."
Mira finally realized how cold it was. "Brr.." She made a small blanket of pure heat for herself, and Noelle, seeing she was shivering also. "We should probably be making our way inside about now." She murmered.
Noelle nodded and ignored Sarah's comment. She pulled the blanket around her and stood up, liming as she tried to walk. "Thanks again.: She smiled.
Mira stopped her. "I'm not exactly the one to push, but this might happen again if you don't tell us what's happening. Maybe we could help, but if you think you can deal with it thats fine." She told her sympathetically. Her hair draped over her eye. "But you couldn't get back to your dorm with that ankle. If you won't let me help in any other way, just let me help you back to your dorm."
Noelle was suprised these girls cared. "Its... Well..." She looked down at her feet. "I was kinda meeting with someone... Not Voldemort! It's an old friend." She rambled, knowing she probably made no sense. She clasped her hands together.
"Murderer! Backstabber!" The voice rang in her ears. "How could you betray me? You betrayed me for her!"
Noelles anger flashed. "I think we both know why I did it. I didn't know you were the pyscho you are now!"
Noelle held a hand agaist her head as the memory made her feel dizy.
Mira's eyes grew wide as she steadied Noelle. "Noelle are you allright? You don't have to tell us anymore. Unless you want to."
Noelle shook her head. "Yeahh I'll be fine. It's really confusing. I'll have to explain later." She said.
The knife came at her and she quickly doged it. She swung the laccrose stick above her head then swung. The knife slid across the roof. She breathed a sigh a relif.
"No your not allright." Mira saw into her mind that something was going on, she didn't see what, but she saw something. "Noelle whats going on in your head?" She asked worriedly, she had been in these sitches before and it could get scary.
Noelle's gaze stared blankly out into the distance. She couldn't hear Mira, she was stuck in her memory.
Suddenly she snapped back into life, her eyes watering up with tear for she couldn't take it any longer. "It's just bad memories." She said as her voice shook.
Mira saw her eyes and brought her voice to a soothing melodic sound. "Don't worry, nothing will ever happen to you, with your powers and friends who care so much, nothing will ever happen. I gaurentee it."
"Okay..." Noelle whimpered. She fought the memories that were trying to push into her mind. "Powers?" She said questionly. "What kind of powers?"
Noelle hadn't realized she was a witch untill last year and she didn't know much about powers, expecailly the great power she had. She didn't realize that those flashbacks weren't just bad memories, but a power that she needed to learn to control.
"That is something you have to figure out, I'm still learning how to control all of mine!" She said. "But I can tell you have powers, its your choice whether you want to learn how to use them."
"How do I learn?" Noelle asked blankly. "What do my dreams mean?" She said randomly a few moments later.
"You ask someone to help, And I can't tell you what your dreams mean if you don't tell me what they are." She replied.
