Sarah was sitting in her office looking over the bills that she had for this month on the house and how much she could spend on getting Sirius a suprise gift for something.
They had been though a lot of things over the last year. Her son James started school. She thought that her and Sirius were going to break up for good. Then she had been working alone for a while.
She was just about done setting the money aside when an owl came thought the door with a sealed envelope.
Dear Sarah Jones or should I saw black now,
I wanted to send you this letter telling you that I have your kids. I escaped from Azcaban and was looking for you when I happened to be around hogwarts and saw two kids hanging together and talking about how this weekend they were going to visit their mother.
I was thinking about it and thought what better why to get back at you then to take them. I will get my revenge for getting sent there and your friend helping you get loose. Meet me at place we frist meet and you might get to see your kids again with every little hair on there head.
If not you might regret it later on when one of them gets hurt.

Sarah then looking in the envolpe more and one feel out of both her kids laying on the ground knocked out. She then turned pale since she knew that he was one of them that got caught by the Auror when her and the others attacked Gringotts. Sarah stared at the picture wondering if she sould tell siruis about this.
*Sirius hummed to himself as he apparated to the front steps of his and Sarah's house. He was having a good day, he had a beautiful wife, amazing chilrdren, a good job now that he had it under control. Nothing seemed to be wrong except for the annoying song in his head. He smiled, breathing before stepping inside the confortabe room.* Hunny I'm home! *He called through the house unaware as to where Sarah was. Little did he know his happy mood was about to change.*
Sarah sat there staring at the note pale as white she then put the letter under a bill.
"I'm in the office honey." Sarah yelled at him. She then went back to doing her work there was no way she was going to tell him that she was being blackmailed and even the fact that she was thinking about coming.
"I can't tell him." Sarah said to herself moving the bills around and letting the letter slip out of hiding a little.
Can't tell me what? *Sirius said smiling and leaning against the doorway peering happily at Sarah. He loved seeing her face and in the sunlight that was creeping through the room she looked absolutly beautiful even though Sirius noticed her a little pale.* Hello dear. *He said calmly eyeing her for a moment.*
So what is it that you can't tell me?
"oh nothing it is a suprise" Sarah siad trying to make something up. She was not way going to tell him about the letter. He did not even know about the time she tired to rob the bank only ones who did was her and Blaze.
"And you know I can't ruin a suprise now Can I." Sarah then looked bad at the bills as the letter fell of the table.
*Sirius smiled, excited for a moment before the letter fell off the table. He picked it up thinking it to be nothing of imortance. He placed it on the desk and glanced at it.*
*He froze.*
Sarah? *He said reading the first line over again.* I wanted to send you this letter telling you that I have your kids
Sarah then turned and looked out the window she did not want to talk to Siruis.
"I'll take care of it. I mean it my fault they are like this anyways." She knew she was going to have to tell the truth. Sarah then started to tear up she was not going to tell the whole truth though.
She then started to look at her bill again not wanting to look at him.
*Sirius froze and didn't speak but continued reading.*

And this ending! Your bank buddy? *Sirius looked at her wife, his eyes purple.* Sarah what have you gotten yourself into?
Sarah looked at him near tears.
"Nothing I mean I just never thought my past would come back to haunt me. I'm going to take care of it once and for all though." Sarah then stood up walking up to there room and going thought her closet to she what she had that was back. She did not want to tell Siruis the whole story but she knew she would have to at some point. While up in the room she had flash backs.
"Suplify" Sarah said at two goblin as they feel the others walked in and started to head towards the carts. Sarah then turned around seeing Auror and dropping to the ground like some one innocent.
A goblin then pointed to her. "that the one that started it." Then one of the Auror came over and took Sarah wand and went to cature her when Blaze did a spell againist the Auror stole Sarah's wand back and ran with her out of there. The others were all captures and taken to Azcaban.
Her and blaze promise not to say anything to anyone.
*Sirius rubbed his eyes and put the paper down, sighing. He followed her into there room angrily.*
Just tell me the story and we can figure all this out. Ok?
Sarah looked at him with tears.
"It was after you broke up with me to date Kilynn. I was turning evil I mean my favorite spell was curcio and I know and still know how to use it." Sarah then sat down on the bed and put her hean in her hands.
"Some people came to me and Blaze in the forest they wanted me to join them in doing something. I told them I would if they let blaze go."
"then we robbed Gringotts." That was all she was going to tell him not other thing like where she was meeting him. "So I'm going tonight and going to hurt every bone in his body and wish he was still in Azcaban"
*Sirius nodded slowly, having to lean against the wall from surprise. He stared at her for a moment, his mouth slightly ajar from shock. He spoke slowly, still trying to run it all through his mind.* No, we use Ministry force for this. He can be locked up again if the ministry see's what he's done with our children, then you have a right to hurt him and you can't get in trouble for it.
Believe me Sarah, I'm backing up Xaver on a few accounts right now, the Ministry of Magic would give anything to have me locked up, and if your locked up...You'd better believe I'm coming with you. *He nodded for a moment.*
The ministry, they'll help us..
Sarah looked at him.
"Sirius are you not thinking." She then stood up.
Sarah then started to yell. "IF WE GET THERE HELP HE WILL TELL AND I WILL GO TO JAIL. I CAN'T DO THAT TO ANNABELLE ESPALLY IF YOU FOLLOW ME TO JAIL."
Sarah then feel to the ground. "how could I have been so stupid. I'm sorry I yelled."
*Sarah knelt next to her and rubbed her arms trying to calm her.* Ok its ok we'll figure out another plan. I just want everone to be safe again. I would suggest us taking him on but we aren't strong enough...We could get people...Friends who would be willing to help. I can think of a bunch off the top of my head right now! That won't be hard, and together we can prevail.
*Sirius realized that as a mother Sarah must be worried about her kids, he kissed her cheek.* I'm sure they'll be ok. We'll get them back...We have to.
Sarah leaned in his arms. "No there only one other that can even come near to helping up and that is Blaze. He the only one that knows about it. I mean Ginny would never treat me the same and neither would anyone else."
Sarah looked into his eyes. "I know they are safe. I mean I know him. He would not hurt them."

James sat there in a room with his sister. "Alexandra what going on" he said scared.
*Sirius nodded.* If you say you know him, then I believe you...But Sarah, if telling our friends means getting our children back then we will defenetly have to! And under the circumstances you were in I'm sure they'll all understand. And Ginny? She's had her fair share of evil pass through her so I think she would be the most understandable person to tell if we had to.

*Alexandra looked around frantically but found nothing to clue them in for as to where they were.* I honestly don't know...
Sarah looked at him. "Fine but I'm not telling them. I mean he wants me. I know this dude if I come he will let our kids go."
Sarah stood up and walked to her closet and bent down to one of the boxes that was hidden. It was a box that she owned with all types of pure pitch black.

*Sirius watched as his wife bent over, scared for her sanity a bit. He feared she was just wanting her kids back so she wasn't thinking logiacally.* But if you go then it'll be like trading wouldn't it? You say he won't harm them if you come...

*Alexandra kissed her brother's cheek lightly.* Don't worry, mum and dad will be coming soon enough. I promise.
Sarah looked at him. "I know them. If I show up tonight they kids will be fine. So I have to."
Sarah then stood back up and put on this robe and hood. "I will be back."
Sarah then turned to walk out the door.

"okay I mean you never broke a promise yet." James then huged her.
*Sirius growled and grabbed a potion from the dresser very quickly, placed it in his robe pocket and ran after her. He caught up and swallowed looking at Sarah as they walked.* I'm coming with you.

*Alexandra nodded and looked frantically around still. She was hoping this promise could be kept.*
Sarah turned to face him. "Stay back then I mean he said come alone." Sarah then kissed him and turned to walk more.
"I mean I know that your going to reather I like it or not."

Chris walked in and grabbed the girls hand. "come on I mean you are coming with me."
*Sirius smiled to her and kept up.* Fine, he said nothing about Snuffles though. *Sirius smiled, winked, and closed his eyes, transforming into Snuffles the dog. He wagged his tail and ran alongside Sarah.*

*Alexandra tried to pull away from the man's grasp but couldn't. She moaned and stood so as to not be pulled.*
Sarah looked at him. "Well okay that is fine."
Sarah then started to pet him as she walked. "Well lets go."

"Alexandra no." James said as he ran to the door after them.
Chris then grabbed his arm to. "Well you can some to."

Sarah was about to get to the lake.
*Snuffles followed along like a faithful dog, nervously looking up at Sarah every once in a while.*

No! *Alexandra yelled forcefully.* Leave him, he goes no where with you.
Sarah walked up and saw him as she wore all black not wanting to let her kids see it.
"Let them go." Sarah said under her breathea.
"Glad you could join me old friend. I mean I missed you so much. It been a while." Chris said as he walked up to her.
"Let me go."
Sarah was looking at him.
"I did what you said so let the kids go."
Snuffles growled fiercely as he stood next to Sarah. Then a memory flashed through his mind. One that he had never seen before or even remembered.
Clank. The sound of metal on metal. Doors sliding shut. Cold and lonely deathly feelings. Sirius looked up as he watched a man walk by his cell with two dementors next to him. The man looked like death itself and sirius swallowed as they made eye contact. He watched them past and wondered who the man was.
Snuffles panted as he licked his lips, looking up at the man with fear. He recognized him from his first life. Sirius had met this man while in Askaban. That's all he could remember at the moment.

Alexandra growled as well, starinng angrily at the man with total disgust. She threw her head back and shot it forward, spitting on the man's face. "Let me go you!"
Sarah stepped forward and dropped her wand by Snuffles. "You have want you want let them go."
Chris smiled as he let the kids go but grabbed Sarah. "Your right I do now what you going to do."
Chris held a knife that he used to stab Sarah right below the heart. "Now they can watch you die."
Chris then put a shield around her and apperate.
"Siruis get the kids out of here."
*Snuffles turned into Sirius quickly grabbing the wand and was about to take hold of James when Alexandra stepped in and took his hand.* Dad, go I'll take care of James. Just go get mom. *For the first time in his life, Sirius saw, when looking in his daughter's eyes, an adult looking back at him. It frightened him and his eyes turned purple but then after a moment he nodded, proud of his daughter.* Be careful. *Quickly he spun, apparating away following the trail of magic Chris had left while apparating.*
"Alexandra is mom going to be okay." He looked as he then ran towards the shield. He wanted to get her lose.
"James got please. I'll be fine." She said barely above a wisper. "I'm a fighter and so I won't give up."
She then laid her haid on the ground. "Alexandra get him out of here."
*Alexandra grabbed James and before he could object she apparated away.*
*Sirius glared at the man that had his wife and pointed his wand bravely at him, flashbacks of his face walking in front of his Askaban cell flashing around his mind.* Let her go. *He said bravely.*
"I can't it one of those shields that you have to break." He then smiled.
"So you might want to get back to her."
"Well I want mommy."
Alexandra took hold of James's hand and lef him quickly up to her common room at Hogwarts without saying a word.
Sirius glared at him, his head pounding from the memories of those cold eyes that had haunted his sleep. "How dare you, you monster! Let her go now!"
"I can't and if you don't go to her soon. SHe might not make it." He stood there he did not care if the girl died.
"I mean I bet she had 5 minutes at the most if you don't hurry.
James was now crying he had always bonded more with his mom then dad. He wrapped his arms around her. "What happens if daddy don't get there in time."
*Siruis hurry* Sarah sent to him. She was really week and in pain.
Sirius frantically thought for a moment and breathed heavily. He held Sarah's wand in his hands and thought of spells. He shot them out at the shield like fireworks on the Fourth of July. Nothing. Nothing at all. He frantically looked around then pulled out his own wand, placing Sarah's in his pocket. Without him having to say anything Sirius's wand shot out yellow sparks sending them flying at the shield. Sirius smiled to himself, how could have forgotten? Sirius's wand trusted Sarah more then anyone else. It should work.
Sarah laid there as she saw the shield slowly start to layer.
"You did great hun. Tell the kids I love them." Sarah then could not fight the pain anymore and closed her eyes.
As the shield finally wore off Sirius ran to her side and lifted her head up placing it on his chest. "Sarah come on baby don't give up." He took his wand once more and placed it to her neck praying it would work.
Sarah felt a warm felling going through her body. She was not sure what it was. With out knowing what was going on her body started to glow with and she started to breathe normally. The spot where she was stabbed was also healing nicely. That was when she opened her eyes a little.
"Siruis what happening. Why am I so weak." She then tried to sit up but was not able to. "I'm so tired." She moved one hand up to his face. Though she was fighting to say awake.
Sirius smiled to her. "Sh don't talk, just breathe and relax your alive, everything is okay."
"Sis what if mom don't make it what are we going to do. I mean what about little Annabelle." James had so many tears down his face.
Sarah knew that if sleep was to come she might not wake up for a while. She looked at Siruis. "How are the kids. Did I save them."
Sirius smiled down to her. "You were great." (you wanna get the guy back in here dear?)
Alexandra looked down at her brother, tears running down her own face and dripping slowly onto his forehead. She wiped hers and his away and knelt down so she was face to face with her brother. "No matter what happens we're always have each other okay so you shouldn't have to worry about little Annebelle. she'll be all right, everyone will be."
(sure I mean sarah has to get her strength back though.)
Sarah smiled at that and wrapped her hands around him. "Can we go see the kids though."
All she wanted was to see their faces.
"I know that. I just am going to miss her." James already thought in his mind that she was dead.
Sirius smiled lightly. "Just breathe for a few minutes okay I don't want you to go hurting yourself."
Alexandra shook her head. "Your wrong. You won't have to miss her, she's not gone...She'll never leave us. Don't you see that?"
Sarah smiled at him as she continued to breathe. "Fine I mean all I want it to see my kids."
Sarah then leaned in his arms and with out telling him sent a mental message to her kids. *Hey guys I'm fine just tired. Becareful though*
James then had tears in his eyes. "Ya she fine." He hugged Alexandra.
Sirius nodded. "I understand."
Alexandra found more tears running down her face as her brother hugged her. She smiled, sniffed, and hugged her brother back letting out a breath of relaxation. "I told you...I told you." She whispered in his ear, kissing his cheak.
Sarah then closed her eyes since she sent that message she was drained. "Sorry I got ya all into this. I never thought it would come back to huant me."
JAmes had tears to as he kissed her check. "Yes you did I should have believed you. I mean you never broke a promise."
"Eh it doesn't matter now. It? Ha ha."

Alexandra smiled and laughed a little. "Its perfectly fine. everything is fine."
(no he apperated away remeber)
"I know that. Thanks so much for saving me. I mean I never thought he would be smart enough to do that."
James then smiled. "Well since this is over I'm hungry sis."
Sirius smiled and shook his head. "Your smart enough for anything."
*Alexandra laughed and stood. She held out her hand for him to take to get up.*
Sarah smiled. "Can we go see the kids now. I mean I will leave with or with out you."
She knew better thought she knew she could not walk.
James took his sisters hand and then stood up. "So what we going to eat."
Sirius smiled. "Sure, but I'm not about to let my darling walk. Here." He stood up and lifted her slowly into his arms. "That's better."
Alexandra smiled and paused. "Should me maybe wait for mum and dad? I think they might be coming soon." She could feel it.
"I guess. I'm just hungry." James siad as he then sat down on a sit waiting.
"Thanks. I mean that feels better." She then put her head on her shoulder. She tried to fight it but could not. She was out like a light.
Sirius smiled lightly staring down at her before slowly he started walking towards there house.
He arrived a few minutes earlier and quietly walked into the house placing Sarah on the couch. Alexandra we're at home whenever you want to bri-
Alexandra quickly appeared with James beside her. "How's mom?"
Sarah stay there sleeping. She was tired and still weak.
James ran over there and gave her a hug.
"mom please be alright."
Sarah felt her little one hug her and then she opened her eyes and smiled touching him. "I'm fine ya just tired and weak. I mean I was able to heal myself and that what caused most my enengy drain since I lost lot of blood."
Sirius smiled down to Sarah and grabbed James from behind, throwing him over his right shoulder. "Come on little guy you should be pretty hungry aren't you?"
Alexandra laughed quietly to see her father in a happy mood again made her smile. She bent down next to her mum and took hold of her hand.
James looked at his daddy. "I am but I want to say with mommy."
Sarah took a hold of Alexandra hand. "I'm so proud of you. I mean you were a brave girl to day. Your brother was to. I could not ask for more. Thanks for getting him out of there. I mean he did not need to see his mothers mess up."
Her voice was very low not because she wanted to but that the only way she could talk at the moment.
Sirius put James in his eyes and hugged him tight for a moment before setting him down. "I'll go make dinner how about that?" He kissed Sarah's forehead and messed with James hair before walking out of the room.
Alexandra smiled to her mom nodding. "I know where I got my bravery. You and dad are so brave."
"okay daddy." James then walked over to his mommy.
"Well maybe more your dad. I mean I was the one that just got him out of trouble. I went threw the worst stages of my life with out him. I would tell you about them when your older. That way you won't think of me as so evil." Sarah was remebering that day she tried to rob gringotts and then how she was not afriad to use the curico curse on people.
"I mean I'm not the best role model."
"yes you are. I mean I look up to you so much." James was not wanting to leave her side.
"Thanks James but you should really look up to your father he has the great job."
