( Some things you need to know: Sirius and Sarah are married and they've got there 3 children. Let's say Alexandra is in her first year at Hogwarts. Please no one liners...oh and if you don't have a reason for being in our house in the middle of the night please don't be there. Thanks!)
Click, click. The sounds of foosteps. Sirius's lit wand in front of his sore body shows the way to a room. Pitch black all around, Sarah and Cho beside him. A man standing in the corner of the room. Silas Lestrange himself. Two words about to be muttered before... Sirius looked up. sweat ran down his face as he sat up slowly, his head pounding. Where was he? He couldn't tell. Till after a moment he heard breathing next to him. He peered to his right to find Sarah sleeping beside him. He saw a street light seeping through the window to his left and breathed a breath of relaxation. A bad dream, that's all it was. Sirius swung his feet quietly over the side of the bed and stepped onto the cold wooden floor. He slowly walked across the room to the window and peered out. Chills ran up and down his spine as he looked down at the streets. He shook his head violently and looked again, barely breathing. Had it just been an after affect of the dream? Or was it something else? Sirius felt his head and sighed leaning against the window. He couldn't have seen Silas Lestrange because Silas Lestrange was dead. Gone forever. Forever, what a word. Forever by definition means for all future time...for always. But as Sirius thought more about it he wondered if forever gone didn't mean what he thought it meant. Could Silas Lestrange really be forever gone? Or was it all coming back just as it had before.
Sarah had laid there on the bed when she all of a sudden did not feel anyone be side her any more so she opened her eyes. She then saw that Siruis was not there so she got out of the bed with her robe and walked out the door. She then saw him and walked over and rapped his arms around her.
"What then matter baby. Why you not sleeping." Sarah was scared something happened.
Sirius awoke from the deep thought that he had been placed into from the dream and the figure he had seen, or imagined. he licked his lips and dazedly looked at Sarah. He was only able to see half of her face from the street light but just seeing this little bit of her soft skin was a comfort to him. It let him know someone else was out there, someone who cared for him. He shook his head, not wanting her to worry about his sanity.
He was worried enough about that.
Sarah looked at him. She knew that something was up but she was not going to bother him about it. She was just going to leave it alone.
"Well okay why don't we go back into the house and get some hot lemon tea." Sarah knew that if calmed her and she was just wanting to get Siruis back inside he could get what ever he wanted. "I love you okay. I mean I wanted you to know that."
Sirius's face flickered like a lightswitch to a short smile before returning to a mesmorizing gaze. "Yeah I know. I just had a...a bad dream or something. Thanks I'd like some tea."
Sirius took one last glance at the ground where he thought he had seen Silas stand and turned away from it. He placed his arm around Sarah, not only to warm her but again to assure himself that someone was there with him that loved him.
Sarah smiled. She loved being in his arms. Sarah then walked towards the house and into the Kitchen. She was grabbing down cups when one slipped causing 5 of them to fall to the ground.
"Oh no." Sarah said load. "Siruis is going to kill me." Sarah said where only she and the ones in the kitchen could hear. She was not sure though if Siruis heard so she bend down to fix them so her body was all below the counter.
Sirius slowly walked into the house after Sarah. He looked outside one more time and closed the door, locking it shut. He walked into the kitchen and looked around. "Sarah?" He asked aloud. Not seeing her because she was bending over.
Sarah then stood back up with Glass pieces in her hand. "yes Sirius what the matter."
Sarah then sat them on the table and started to do spells. She really did not mean to break them. She had a piece stuck in her finger so it was bleeding. "Sorry I broke them."
Sirius shook his head, walking over to her and peering down at the cups he nodded. "Its no the end of the world dear."
Sirius sat down at the table and yawned. He placed his elbows on the table and placed his head in his hands. Just as he did though, the image he had seen outside creeped into his head. He shook his head and opened his eyes, looking at Sarah. He noticed her hand and stood quickly. "Sarah, your hand. Are you ok?"
Sarah looked at it and noticed that it was bleeding. "Oh ya I think it should be fine. I mean I think it was just a peice of glass."
Sarah had not fixed all the cups and was ignoring her hand but went strait to work on both of there teas. She knew they would feel better after they had some. She was not sure why Sirius was so jumppy but she would not bother him about it.
Sirius nodded and looked around running his fingers through his hair. His eyes were still purple but he felt safer in the house as he sat at the table not sure what to do or what to say, not wanting to explain what had happened.
" Siruis talk to me. I mean I know something it up." She sat his tea infrount of him. "I mean your not yourself."
Sirius shook his head looking into her beautiful eyes. "Its nothing," he said uncertainly. "I just, had a bad dream or something."
"Okay I will lets you be for now." Sarah then walked to the sink and ran the water over her hand. After that she saw the peice of glass and took it out cleaned and disifected it.
"Here we go." Sarah then started to repair the rest of them.
"Repairo."
Jessie stood outside of Sirius and Sarah's house. It was the middle of the night, and she stood in the cold with only a small tote bag slung over her shoulder. She rang the doorbell and waited for a response.
Sarah stood up. "I got it." She then walked to the frount door. She was still in her night gown. She then open the door and saw Jessie.
"Hey girl what the matter. WHy you have your tote bag."
Sirius stayed seated at the table looking at the repaired pieces with little interest.
"Jessie what is wrong." Sarah said as she stood there.
"Come on in." Sarah then grabbed her bag and opened the door.
Sirius decided to try and get his mind off of his memories that seemed to haunt him everywhere nowadays. He stood up slowly, his head heavy on his shoulders. He placed his hands on the table and sighed for a moment before lifting them in the air and stretching. After stretching he ran his fingers through his silky black hair and walked slowly to the front door to find Sarah and Jessie there. "Everything all right?" He asked the two girls eager to get his mind and Sarah's mind off of the events that had just happened.
Sarah wrapped a hand around him. She was waiting for Jessie to say something. She was not sure what she would do though.
(We need Jessie badly.)
Sirius stood staring at Jessie with a bit concern, not sure what to say next.
(Thats all i can do ha ha)
((Sorry about the abscence guys!!))
Jessie flung her hands around her friends. She let go and with a last glance up and down the street she stepped inside and closed the door behind her.
*I'm so sorry to barge in on you guys like this... really I am, but I can't really trust anyone at the moment... See I somewhat... in a way... attacked a death eater. I got off fairly lucky but...* Jessie turned revealing a cut on her arm that still bled a little, and a few scrapes on her face. *That wasn't all of the damage, I healed alot of the little stuff on the way.* Jessie smiled weakly at her friends. She could see that they were tired, and had had a long night.
Sarah smiled. "good old jessie. That fine. I still have some room. So come on."
Sarah then lead her into the kitchen and got her a glass of tea to. "drink this. I will help."
Sirius followed them slowly, looking out the window next to the door. He saw the street light outside and swallowed, his muscles tensing. He saw nothing but just in case he locked the door. He walked into the kitchen after the ladies.
Sarah knew that Siruis was jumpy about something but he could not get her to tell him.
"Well you are safe here." Sarah smiled saying to Jessie. She then turned to Siruis.
"I'm going to change and check up on little Alexandra." Sarah smiled that was there 2 mounth old baby. She then started up the stairs and tripped falling all the way down and hitting her head.
(A bit random but ok =D)
Sirius heard her fall and quickly ran over to her. "Sarah!" He said with a scared voice. "Baby what did you do? Are you alright?"
Sarah looked up to him as she stood up. She had twisted her ankle but she did not want him to worry.
"Ya Sorry I just slipped. I'm fine." She then went to go back up the stairs.
"Going to check on Alexandra now." Sarah then got up and saw that the baby was awake. SO she picked her up and rocked her back to sleep but in the rocking chair too.
Sirius watched her walk up the stairs before turning and walking over to Jessie tiredly.
Sarah sat there rocking until she was then woken up by a crying child hungry.
"well I guess I better head back down stairs with you little girl." Her ankle was not hurting her even more as she slowly carried the baby to the kitchen. Once there she started to get her bottle ready while holding her.
Sirius stood, leaning against a door frame watching the women in front of him as they did there own thing.
Sarah smiled at him. She was almost done making the bottle when the then dropped it causeing milk to fly all over the place. "Man to day not my day."
Sarah then left the milk there as she grabbed the bottle and started to wash it off and make start over. She was not going to be able to feed the crying baby and clean up the mess at the same time. Then she had a husband that just stood there.
Sirius smiled as he watched his wife work away to comfort the baby. He took out his wand and pointed it at the milk on the ground. He didn't even have to speak when slowly the milk disappeared.
Sarah looked at him as this time she got the bottle ready. "Thanks."
She then walked over and sat down in a sit and went to work on feeding their hungry child. She loved having someone to take after all the time for once.
Sirius nodded and sat down next to Sarah. Watching her peacefully as she fed the baby.
Sarah looked at her little girl she then let a tear fall. She was so happy that her life was turning out great. She then let a yawn escape knowing that she would so have to get to work though.
"So Jessie want to help me out around the shop since your staying here."
Jessie had finished what Sarah had given her. *Sure no problem! Hey listen, I'd love to tell you the whole story of what happened with the death eater, but I can see that we're all very tired here, so we should all get to bed and get some rest!* Jessie said yawning hugely.
Sarah smiled. "okay but then tomorrow we you are going to tell us."
Sirius immediatly looked up as Sarah mentioned sleeping. He thought of closing his eyes and seeing him again. He thought of him haunting his thoughts. He didn't want his dreams to come, afraid of himself.
Sarah saw this and she looked at Jessie. "How about I show you your room while I drop little Alexandra off."
She then smiled to Sirius. *Then your going to tell me what is going on. I mean I know something is so don't you dare lie.*
Sirius swallowed and growled sarcastically to her. Trying to avoid what she just said.
Sarah knew that something was going on and well she was going to get to the botton of it. If not she was going to become evil again till she found out. She was worried about her husband.
Jessie said *OK that sounds great!* She picked up her small tote bag and waited to follow Sarah upstairs.
Sarah then walked over to the stairs with her daugher. "So Jesse other then this whole Death Eater thing how you been."
She then started up the stairs
Sirius slowly walked over to where Sarah had sat and sat down himself. He places his left hand to his lips and began nervously picking at them with his teeth while his right arm was on the table, his fingers moving slowly through the wood cracks. Sirius was thinking still of what he had seen outside and how it had been so clear.
Jessie followed her upstairs. *I've been doing good! How have you guys been?* Jessie asked
"well I am doing okay. I mean I been better." Sarah then started to walk up one stair.
"I mean just tired of work."
*Really? Wow, well I don't know if I could be tired of work!* Jessie laughed
"well you try running a business all by yourself and take car of a kid." Sarah said as she reached the top of the stairs.
Jessie laughed. *Sounds hard... will you do it for me?* Jessie said jokingly
Sirius sat quietly at the table. Not wanting to move.
(Not knowing what to say either.)
"Sure. I mean as long as it is my business and child. I don't watch others for free you know." Sarah joked.
Jessie laughed following Sarah. She said, *So, anything new since when I last came here?*
"well not really I mean besides the fact that Siruis has started to act really funny this morning. I mean I know something wrong but he will not tell me." Sarah then laid Alexandra in her crib.
*Hmm... well you should go and talk to him, and I can put this one to bed if you want! And really, thank you so much for letting me stay here... it's just so last minute...* Jessie said.
"Thanks Jessie but that the problem. " Sarah laid her sleeping child down. "He won't talk to me and it hurts. I mean he says he is fine."
*Oh... well, maybe just give him some time... he probably isn't quite sure what's wrong either.* Jessie said.
"Ya I know. It just so hard though. I mean he knows something is wrong and he knows I know but why then won't he answer."
