((I repeat, this is open. But if you make me angry, I reserve the right to yell at you. So don't be stupid. And at least TRY to type right. Thankies!))
Ginny was sitting outside of the Three Broomsticks, on a small wooden bench. She wasn't wearing robes, like almost everyone else. Instead, she had on jeans and a large zip up black hoodie, which covered her hands as she sat huddled on the bench. Her strikingly red hair fell across her shoulders in soft waves, blowing up slightly with the breeze. Her face was set in a small frown, her eyes watching everyone and anyone that passed. She looked 17, maybe 18, but wasn't either.
It was a beautiful day, but Ginny was chilly most of the time. Especially now, she had a terrible cold. Nonetheless, she was waiting to meet someone, and was looking for them. Two people actually, was what she was expecting. So she sat huddled up in her oversized hoodie, watching as teachers and students walked past.
Molly walked by in black wind pants, a pair of rocket dogs and red hoodie. She had her ipod (do they have those?) in her ear, listing to her rock music. She saw ginny sitting on a bench, took her headphones out and sat down next to her. "So whats new" she asked. A gust of wind blew by blowing her black hair in a mess. "Stupid wind" she mumbled fixing her straight (or what used to be before the wind) hair.
Ginny looked over, smiling slightly, "Stupid wind indeed." She agreed. Her eyes went back to searching the crowd. She hugged herself tighter, humming slightly to herself. Today was a good day for the redhead.
No headaches, no letters, and it was payday. She'd gotten off work early too. The only problem was her annoying cold, which she would get rid of quickly enough.
Billie came in the door of the three broomsticks and saw some students she didn't know so she walked up to them "hey are you guys new?" she asked then realized one of the girls was Ginny "oh I mean are you new?" she asked as she looked at the girl who was next to Ginny "I'm Billie" she said and held out her hand
Ginny glanced over at Billie, nodding in greeting before she sneezed loudly. "Ugh..." She muttered, pulling a tissue out of her pocket. She hated having colds, they were just annoying. Plus, colds were so common and there were many different types, so it wasn't like she could just cure herself.
((And technically,no, the don't have iPods and other electronic stuff. But you can fix the iPod to make it work around magic.))
Albus was sitting on a bar stool, resting his elbows on the desk. In his hand, he had a bottle, half filled with butterbeer. Slowly, he sipped it, sometimes looking at the bottle before he drunk.
He heard the door open, and a warm wind hit his face gently. He was tired and was feeling bad. The spring was slowly coming, and Albus didn't know how more long he could be here on Howarts, living like he did nowadays. He looked at the door, then saw someone he never had seen before. He also noticed that she was talking to Ginny. He hadn't noticed that she was there. So took his bottle with him, while he walked there, to talk with a friend, and to maybe get to know a new one.
Billie kept standing she didnt like sitting to much "Bless you Ginny" she said. "so you have a cold I hate those they are so confusing to me I mean I take one medication but it only works for a certain type of cold so you have to take a different one I just hate all colds" she said as she walked away and order some firewhiskey and then walked back to them
"bad cold" hailey asked sincerely. She saw the girl walk up, the one who said her name was billie. "hi" she mumbled "My names hailey" she smiled sorta. Hailey sighed as the wind gusted again blowing her once straight hair around her face. she saw some guy she didn't know walk up. He apeared to know ginny though, except everyone knew Ginny. "hi" she said. He was the first guy he met here.
Ginny nodded at Billie's question. She smiled slightly at Albus, "Hey kiddo. How's it going?"
Albus didn't have a chance to answer, because suddenly a small boy came running towards the group, causing many people to stare.
The boy looked to be about five years old. He had obsidian hair, ice blue eyes and pale skin. He wore black pants and a black long sleeved shirt with a red t-shirt over top. His arms were outstretched, his face set into a grin as he cried out, "Mom!", just before he threw his arms around Ginny's waist.
This caused even more people to stare, since Ginny looked to be only about 17 years old. But she threw her arms around the child, covering his face in kisses and hugging him tightly, "Angle baby," she cooed softly, "How was Grand mums?"
An older man appeared not far behind the boy. He actually did look like Ginny, he was her father after all. Arthur Weasly hurried over, smiling at Ginny, "Sorry. He knew where you were."
Hailey smiled. "Whose this" she asked ginny smiling at the boy. "Hi," she said in a babyish tone. "My names hailey whats your name." she said sweetly to the little boy that apeared to be Ginny's son.
Cody glanced around the group, then looked at Hailey, "Xerxes Xian." He tilted his head suddenly, a small grin appearing as he looked her over. He didn't like the tone she had spoken to him in. "Lo pensate sono un bambino? Sono molto più potente di chiunque. Compreso i miei propri genitori."
Ginny frowned at Cody, "I don't know what you just said, but it was something bad. Apologize young man." She sighed, her hand in Cody's black hair, playing with it even in her scolding. Most people didn't realize that Cody was no normal five year old.
Albus laughed a bit. " Hi Cody!" He said greeting him. " How ya doing little fella?" He said with a Scottish accent. A big smile appeared on his face. " Hi Ginny." Slowly, he took a sip from his butterbeer, leaning on the desk.
"Well hello Xerxes Xian, my name is hailey." she smiled. She loved children. "He's so cute ginny." she said smiling. "So how are you?" she asked the boy.
Cody turned and smiled at Albus, "Hi Albus." He smiled, genuinely. He glanced back at Hailey, a small flash of anger going through his adorable features before he answered both questions with, "I'm ok." He knew Hailey saw him only as he seemed, and it annoyed him.
Ginny nodded at Hailey, then looked at her father, who smiled. "Was he good today, Dad?"
Arthur smiled, patting Cody's head with one hand, "He's always good. Your nickname for him is well given."
He meant the fact that Ginny called Cody 'Angel.' Though that wasn't for his behavior. There was another reason Ginny had given her son the nickname.
Ginny smiled, "Good. Want some ice creme, angel?" She asked Cody, her face lighting up as she looked at her son. He grinned at her, slipping his hand into her's.
"Yes!" He crowed, laughing happily.
Hailey wondered what was wrong with the boy. She said in the same language he had speaken before. "Meatchi hartie iticy isticy lamishy yega wetena." (i'm sorry if i hurt your feelings) she glanced at ginny "natuch seditc mentin werit?" she asked. (can we be friends?). She smiled
((That's not Italian ;)))
Cody wrinkled his forehead at Hailey, raising an eyebrow, "A che cosa state giocando?" He tilted his head, then repeated his question in English, "What are you playing at?" His pale eyes studied Hailey carefully. Behind the ice blue orbs lie an intelligence thick and rich. He was a clever boy indeed.
Ginny looked down at Cody, frowning slightly, "Cody, stop it."
Cody glanced up, scowling, "Mom...she thinks I'm a baby."
Ginny couldn't help smiling, "You are a baby, angle. My baby."
(sorry, i don't speak italian.... lets just say that was and i won't imposter it again :))
Hailey was angry. She wasn't tring to baby the child and the fact that he said that angered her... and even though he was only five it still took her to hart. She never had anyone to baby her. she tried to keep patient"I don't know much about children cody and i'm sorry. But be thankfull people are babying you because i was never cared about. I never knew my real mother cody, my mother gave me away and i never knew her.... i don't even know my real last name. I was put in adoptive care and was adopted by the stewrt family. They didn't love me.... they just wanted me for the money, and they sent me away to boot camps and much more. I was never loved... no one bothered to care about me. Obviouly cody many people care about you but just be thankfull for that because no one cared about me... EVER" she said the words slipping out and tears forming in her eyes. don't cry don't cry she thought but before she could stop it a tear rolled down her cheek.
Cody growled in response, "I apologize for your life, but everyone has their own burdens to bear. And you've no idea of mine!" He let go of Ginny's hand, clenching his little fists.
"Yes, I have people who care about me. My mother, her family, and my father. The only people in the world who will ever care about me. Because, you see, Miss Hailey, I am a bona fide freak! In fact, your government wants me and my family dead!"
Ginny gently laid a hand on Cody's shoulder. "Cody," She said warningly. He ignored her, growling at Hailey louder. His pale ice flashed and seemed to darken, his little fist shook.
"We all have our own problems, Miss Hailey. Be thankful that yours can be changed. Because mine will always haunt me." He turned, as if to walk away, but Ginny snatched his collar in her hand and held him fast.
"Apologize, Cody. Now."
Albus watched the scene unfold. He just wanted to be quiet. Already, he knew that Ginny, Xaver and Cody wanted to be dead by the ministry, but he didn't know that Cody knew about it.
Never, had he seen Cody like that. But he knew how troubled a little child's mind could be.
When he had been five a lot of thouhgts had been racing his mind, but Cody's thouhgts was worse than his.
Billie hadn't said anything for a while and she didn't want to get in this since she had a great life. Her family didnt always have money but they always had love and were always together they were very close and told everybody everything. "I feel sad for both of them" she said softly then realized she said it out loud and she looked at Hailey then at the little boy then at Ginny and finally at the ground
hailey was now almost balling, for the little boy and herself. "It can't be fixed cody. My problem will never be gone. The hurt will always be there.... the pain will never be taken away. I will always be scarred. Never again will i trust anybody... i will never be okay." she wipped her eyes on her sleeve and stared at the ground. She was silent. She saw billie and then someone she had gathered as Albus. She did't look at anybody. SHe couldn't stand fighting with a five year old.... and bring up this subject5 was taking her to pieces.
"Pain can be forgotten. I doubt you recall the pain you felt when you first tried to walk and fell down. Pain is forgotten, always." Cody clenched his fists again, pulling away from his mother. "Unless of course you want to be miserable, which only happens when people are so selfish-"
"Enough! That is the last word you will speak, Xerxes Codium." Ginny snapped out, her voice crisp and to the point. Cody opened his mouth to argue, but closed it when Ginny shot him a look.
"I'm sorry, Hailey, for my son's words. He may have the power of empathy, but he doesn't use it often."
"Its alright" she said wiping a tear from her face. She wanted to say more but didn't know how. her pain would never be forgotten. The memory of the evil foster lady. The horid scenes of being told she wasn't wanted. Every boot camp.... It hurt more... more than falling.... it was a scar that would NEVER be healed. She turned to Ginny "ITs okay... he wouldn't know..." she wanted to say how it felt but was afraid of what would happen. "Its also my fauolt i mean i kept arguing." she stareda the surrounding people waiting to see what they'd say.
Ginny gave Hailey a wry smile, "You would be surprised at what Cody knows." She kept one hand firmly on his little shoulder. Cody had his arms folded, and was looking away from them, staring into the distance with an angry dark look on his face.
He glanced up at Ginny, his eyes shadowed and smoldering. He rumbled under his breath about 'grownups' but was otherwise silent. Ginny nodded at Arthur, "Thanks for meeting me here, Dad. Me and Cody need to do some shopping before heading home."
Arthur nodded back, "Will Xaver be waiting?" He asked, tilting his head.
Ginny faltered then, giving her dad a sad look, "Possibly."
Billie went over and sat by Hailey and put her arm around her friends shoulder *its okay try and think of somthing else I hate seeing people cry and I dont like seeing one of my best friends fall apart about what a five year old said* she sent to ONLY Hailey. Than looked at Ginny "whos Xaver?" she asked then reconized the sadness in Ginny voice and wished she hadn't asked
Ginny and Cody both turned to look, but Cody was the one to answer. He spoke quietly, his voice hardly hiding the pride and adoration, "My dad." His eyes lit up, his grin grew wider and he bounced a little on his feet.
Ginny smiled as well, her own eyes lighting up a bit. Xaver was, as the cliche' goes, her one true love. Even after all that had happened, and even though she and Xaver weren't married yet, she was hopelessly, desperately, and wonderfully in love with the guy. (Haha, just read my stories if you think otherwise!!)
" Bye then Cody!" Albus said while he smiled. He drunk the rest of the butterbeer, leaving the bottle on the desk. He looked at Haily feeling a bit embarresed.
Billie smiled at Cody "He's your father thats pretty cool" she said then looked at Ginny and could tell Ginny really loved this Xaver guy. "He must be a great guy" she said then finished her firewhiskey and ordered another
Ginny nodded slightly, but Cody grinned, "You bet! He's sooo awesome! He's strong, and so powerful, and kinda scary when he's mad. He's a King, just like my mom is a Queen, but of different places-"
"Hush." Ginny said, her cheeks flushing a bright red.
Billie smiled at both at them "thats great Ginny deserves a great guy." Billie finished her firewhiskey and decided she had had enough so she ordered a glass of milk and threw the two bottles away
Cody grinned, "Mom deserves more than that.. She deserves my dad." It was obvious that Cody loved his mother. But it was apparent that he absolutely adored and worshiped his father. Xaver hadn't been around for the first three years of Cody's life, and so he thought of his dad as a hero that came back from death.
Ginny flushed still, shaking her head slightly. "I deserve nothing, love." She said softly to Cody.
"Thats not true Ginny you are a nice person and people who you have taught adore you, you deserve whatever you want and better" Billie said smiling
Sarah walked into the shop and saw all of her friends there. She was not sure why they were her but she was wanting some ice cream. She then smiled at them and waved before walking to the counter. She had become rather fond of Cody.
*Hi there Ginny. Hi cody since I know you can hear me.*
Ginny raised her eyebrows and tilted her head to the side with a strange expression on her face. She said nothing, though. At least not until Sarah came in, then she muttered a hello.
Cody, having forgotten his confrontation with Hailey earlier, smiled at Sarah, "Hi Miss Sarah." He said.
Sarah turned and smiled at Cody then Laughed. "So when you going to call me just Sarah. You make me feel old and mature when you call me miss Sarah."
She then grabbed her ice cream and walked over to them. "And we all now neither of those are ture."
Niles was craving ice cream since he just finished his finals he needed something the feeling of beeing tired and working on problems. He noticed two girls and a boy he never noticed, hiding his left arm he approched them, feeling a little nervous he said "may I ask your names"
((can I join))
