The place was huge. She could get lost so easily. Being new here was going to be a challenge...
Gwen threw her suitcase up on top of her small bed and unzipped it, the sound loud compared to the otherwise quiet room. She stretched her arms over her head in a yawn. It had been a long ride here. She started putting her stuff away, her mind wondering to thoughts about her new school.
Will I make any friends? Will I get lost? What are my classes? Are there cute boys? Is the food any good? What if people think I'm weird? She shook her head, trying to clear out the nonstop questions. Whatever happened, happened. She was hear and she wasn't going back home anytime soon.
KeKe walked in and saw a girl there. She walked up to her and smiled. "Hey I am KeKe, KeKe Evans. You seem new here."she said to her and smiled. She looked around at the commonroom. "Are you lost or anything?"she added.
"Gwen." She said with a smile, a piece of blonde hair falling in front of one of her eyes. "I'm new... But not lost. Or at least not yet." She laughed softly. "I'm just unpacking. And worring. Typical me." She took out the last item in her suitcase, a billabong tee shirt, and put it away. She then zipped up her suitcase and slid it under her bed. "Nice to meet you though." She smiled again, then grabbed her key necklace off her bed. She put it around her neck, and it shone in the dim light.
"Yeah nice to meet you to."she said to her.
"If you ever need something, I live in the dorm right across from you."she said to her.
"Okay! Trust me, I'm sure I'll get lost soon. This place... It's huge. Kind of intimidating to me. It's weird being back at school, after being out of it for a year. But I guess I'll get used to it soon." Gwen said, suddenly stopping as she realized she was rambling. She smiled to herself, wishing she wasn't so jittery and nervous. "When did you come here?"
She looked at her, and smiled..."Six years, I just got back though my family was in danger so I had to leave but now I am back."she said with a smile.
"Well I'm glad your back. Otherwise I would probably be lost right now." Gwen giggled. "I've been around here for a while. I've actually been in London. But then I got invited to come here, so I took the chance. And I'm pretty glad I did. It wasn't much fun being by yourself all the time. And I didn't want to go back to my parents." Her eyes started to turn red, but then she took a deep breath and they turned back to brown.
She looked at her.."My brother eyes do that..change colors what ever there moods are."she said to her and smiled.
"Yeah... Its neat sometimes. But other times, it just causes problems." Gwen said, shrugging her shoulders. "I have other powers too, I can control fire." She laughed. "Its really fun. I'll have to show you sometime."
"Sure..that whould be sweet. I can change into a dog. Anamagus."she said to her and smiled.
"Oh wow! That's so awesome! You could get away with so much." Gwen smiled. "It must be a really fun power to have." Her eyes turned into a dark green, and she laughed softly. "This place must really be amazing, so many people's powers in one place. I would love to see all the different kinds..."
She looked at her and sat down in the hall way."Oh you wouldn't want to see everyones. Some peoples powers are very bad and can do horrbile things."
Gwen frowned, her eyes turning an icy blue. "I just don't understand why people are evil... Who would want to hurt another person?" She sighed, looking down at her feet. "I think everything would be so much better if everyone could just make peace with one another, you know?"
She smiled at her.."Don't be sad, I know what you mean"she said to her and smiled.
"I guess I've just had my share of bad experiences with fighting." Gwen said, shrugging her tan shoulders. "But I guess I can't stop it. I'm only one person."
She looked down at her old sneakers, reading the writing on the left toe. 'Best friends, no matter how far apart we are-- Casey.' She smiled to herself, somewhat wishing she wouldn't have let her parents cause her to move.
"Yeah."she said then read her mind."Don't worry you will make new friends."she said to her.
"I hope. I fit in perfectly at my old school. But here... It's a lot different." Gwen said, pushing a piece of hair out of her face. "Well I'm kind of guessing I already have one new friend..." She said with a smile.
"That you do"she said with a smile.
Gwen smiled. "You'll have to tell me everything about this place. And about the people too. Expecially who I should aviod... I don't want to get into any trouble." She laughed a bit, then looked down the hall. She thought that she had heard footsteps.
Alex disappeared around the corner as soon as the new girl turned her head. He then sheepishly came out the shadows. "Hey Keke and new girl." He said casually.
((sorry if you had a plan...if you did tell me))
(Nope... No plan.)
Gwen turned to look at him and smiled. "Hey." She looked back to Keke and whispered. "Who's he?"
She couldn't help but wonder what he was doing, watching them. Or why he had dissapeared when she saw him.
"I heard that," He said loudly smirking. "The name is Alex Potter, Keke's best friend." He said teasing Keke.
((okay then thanks for letting me join=]))
Gwen blushed a little, then giggled nervously. "I'm Gwen, Keke's new friend. Nice to meet you though..." She looked down at her feet, wishing he hadn't heard he say that to Keke.
(No problem :])
"Pleasure."
((wait where are we again.........))
(In the hallway I think...?)
Gwen smirked. "So I have to ask, why did you hide when I looked over at you?" She was dieing to know.
"Oh...I was stalking you guys." He said half-joking.
"No really..." Gwen said, hoping to get it out of him. "I wanna know!!" She giggled, her curiousity getting the best of her.
Alex shook his head. "No I just saw two beautiful ladies talking....so I became shy." He said teasing Keke and Gwen to get a laugh out of them.
((lol...haha funny isn't it....))
"Aw... Thank you!" Gwen said smiling. "Even though I can't really blame you..." She said, teasing him back.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" He asked jokingly.
"It means I'm hot!" Gwen said laughing. "Well not really... I'm just joking around."
"Haha....." He said sarcastically.
Gwen raised one eyebrow. "What are you trying to say?"
Alex shook his head. "Nothing at all...stop trying to seduce me that's all..."
((lol.....yeah I try my best=]))
Gwen laughed. "I must be pretty good at that." She smiled.
"Actually in fact not really." He said teasing her.
Gwen stuck her bottom lip out in a pout. "Well fine." She said, trying to keep from smiling.
Alex smiled and chuckled.
Gwen looked over to Keke, who seemed to be lost in her own world. "I think I'm going to go on a walk, anyone want to come with?"
"Sure....Keke want to come along?"
Gwen looked to Keke, waiting for a response. "I think shes out of it..."
((should we wait or just keep walking?))
KeKe was listening to there convo and she looked over at Alex and hit him.."Alex Potter!!!!!!"she yelled at him..
"You have a GIRLFRIEND!!"she yelled again.
She looked over at Gwen."Sorry Gwen you didn't know, but Alex didn"she said clamer now.
"ALEX!...wait till I tell Megan......oh...she is going to be mad...and you know what she is like when she is mad...because of her..well you know...'thing'...and she loves you.....she LOVES YOU!!!!..and here you are flirting with a different girl....she might just go away this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"she yelled at again at him.
Dylan was just walking and saw KeKe yelling at a random guy and he walked over to her."KeKe clam down....oh heyy new people I am Dylan. KeKe's brother."he said to them.
Gwen's mouth fell open in shock. "I... I'm uh sorry..." She said, studdering.
She looked at Gwen."NO Gwen it is okay. You didn't know..but Alex you are.....untrustworthy."she said to him.
He looked at KeKe.
"...but I wasn't flirting with her....I think it was more her flirting with me."
Megan poped out of nowhere, "Who flirting with how...I guess this was the wrong time to tell you something, I will go, Have fun with your new girlfriend Alex"she said to him and started to back away and then truned around and started to walk off.
Gwen clenched her hands shut, trying to control herself. It probably looked horrible. It wasn't the kind of first impression she wanted to make. She leaned against the wall, feeling stupid.
She was so mad she forgot they were they and she punched the tree and knocked it down and she started to shake. She started to rub her temples and she took a deep breath and closed her eyes.
