The bell rang, loudly, and Ginny faced her class with a small smile. This was the third time they'd met as a whole class, and Ginny was happy with the way things were progressing.
Unfortunately, they wouldn't be able to do as she had said last class.
The plan had been to have the students fight each other in pairs that she assigned.
But, she couldn't do that today. They'd have to postpone that lesson for a bit.
She hadn't told the kids this yet, hadn't even said hello as she waited for the late bell to ring. She doubted anybody would be late. To be late was to be thrown onto the floor at any given moment.
"Hey guys." She said.
((Open, by the way. Forgot to mention that part.))
KeKe walked into the class room and looked around she saw Ginny and waved and smiled. "Hello"she said to her. She took her seat and sat there and waited for the other students to come into the room and began to learn. It had been awhile since she had been in a class room. She missed the feeling to wakeing up late and running to her first class but this time she was early like always.
She scaned the room one more time hopeing everyone would hurry up and get in the room so they could start the class but she waited clamly.
"Hi Keke, how are you today?" Ginny asked conversationally. She smiled at the girl as she sat on her desk, swinging her sneakered feet. For a teacher, she was dressed more like a student today than ever before.
She looked like one, her age hard to guess. Somewhere in her late teens, for all anyone could guess.
"Ready for class?"
She looked up and smiled. "Oh I am good today, what about you?"she asked her and smiled more.
"Yeah I am ready for class, I can't wait!"she said to her.
Ginny lost her smile, sadness showing in her eyes.
"I've been better. Much better." She said, shaking her head slowly. She looked out the window, swinging her legs and not saying anything.
At least, not until Keke said she couldn't wait for class.
Ginny smiled, "That's great, Keke. Being excited opens the mind."
She looked at Ginny. "I don't be sad, I mean I have had a hard time to. I mean my life is great my the only one in my family I have left is my Brother Dylan. The rest of them were murder. Then Aaron left the school without telling me so I havn't been great about that."she said to her and then looked down as she said his name and then looked back up.
"I hope it opens my mind because I need to think about something else."she said to her and smiled a little.
Ginny smiled sadly, "Me too, kiddo."
Ginny said nothing about her own problems. For one, she didn't want to talk about them. For two, she didn't see life as a competition to compare one's problems.
But she did say one thing about them, "When I was 17, the only guy I've ever really loved left me because I got into an argument with him. He didn't come back for three years. By then, I'd had a three year old son. Bet you can guess who his dad is." She chuckled darkly, "The point is, he came back. If someone loves you, they will come back to you. Even if it takes years."
She looked at her. "I don't think Aaron will come back."she said and looked down and then back up and smiled. "I have my guesses who the dad is."she said to her.
She smiled at her. "But it is good to hope that he will come back. I mean I would pray but I prayed that my family would be fine and look what happend."she said.
"Well, if you saw them together, there'd be no doubt in your mind. My little boy looks just like his daddy." Ginny grinned and laughed lowly. She nodded, "Hope is what will get you through life. Praying does so little. I'm not religious, I've killed too much to be so, but I do believe in God. Didn't he say something about he helps those who help themselves?"
Ginny's knowledge of the Bible was limited. She knew only what was considered common knowledge.
She looked up at the clock then and grinned, "Your classmates better hurry, or they'll all be late for class."
Sky cautiously approached her class. She didn't feel like being ambushed again, so she stood on her guard when she walked past Ginny. She looked at her then went and sat on the ground somewhere. "Good day Mrs.Weasley.:
She sat there and looked at Sky walk in. She looked scared. She hadn't been here for the last classes because she just got back. But she loved this class.
She looked at Ginny. "I don't know. I belive in God but don't really know anything about the Bible."she said to her.
"I woke up at 4:30 and got here early. So I don't have to worry about being late."she said ti wht a smile.
Sky looked at Keke.
Good for you! Sky thought sarcastically. She layed back in the grass, and stared up at the clouds.
"On time today, huh Sky?" Ginny grinned cheekily at her, chuckling.
"You guys probably don't remember four years ago when I was a regular teacher here. Kids used to drag themselves out of the hospital wing to avoid being late or missing class." She laughed, "I'm a lot more lenient now."

Sky ignored Ginny's remark and sat up against a wall IN the building. She wasn't going to come here anyway until Jessie suggested it. She just wanted to be prepared for the fight that was approaching her.
She herad Sky.
If you got something to say it to my face! she sent her.
She laughed. "Yeah well if I was in the Hospital I would want to heal."she said to her.
She laughed. I've got alot of things to say. Gee, does everyone at this school know telepathy? Sky thought. She herself, didn't know that power and didn't really want to learn it. For one reason.
Get out of my thoughts. Sky simply thought.
((Going outside soon enough, I promise. And since I'm bored, I'm pretending that everyone else is already in class. Unless you want to be late, pretend you came in. lolz.))
"That's enough, both of you, or I'll turn your brains into mush." She could and would do it too.
The late bell rang, just as the last group of students came through the door. Ginny hopped off her desk and clapped her hands to get their attention.
"Alright guys, I know I said we'd be fighting in pairs today. But I lied."
Well, it wasn't her fault, "Instead, our wonderful headmaster has decided that I am to teach you basic healing before I teach you how to lay down the hurt. I told him we'd take one class to do this, and then he'd better back outta our business. Hopefully, he's scared enough of me that he does as I ask." She chuckled.
"So, how many of you know how to heal yourselves?"
Sky looked around and then slowly raised her hand. She researched alot about healing when she was...mixed up into some trouble.
She looked around then room. She didn't know. But wanted to.
She looked at Ginny and listend to her because she wanted to know this.
Besides Sky, two or three others raised their hands and Ginny nodded.
"Good. This'll be easier if some of you already know what you're doing." She pulled out he wand, "There's several ways people can heal themselves. Most people let themselves heal naturally. But in a pinch, they'll use their wands." She grinned, pulling up her sleeve, showing a dark bruise upon her arm.
"Fell down as I got outta bed this morning, "She said as way of explanation. She placed her wand upon the bruise, "Guarisco!" The bruise began to fade, turning yellow, then disappearing completely.
"Healing, even at this low form, takes energy, and concentration. It's hard to heal oneself, even harder to heal another person."
She looked at her arm as there was no more brusie. She was amazed.
She looked around as some peoples mouths were open. She smiled.
Sky stared at the spot on Ginny's arm where the bruise used to be.

Sky tried to remember that spell and finally remembered seeing it in Magical Remedies and You. She listened closely to The teachers words. This was valuable information. Extremely valuable...

KeKe kept on saying the word in her head and she wrote in down fast in her notebook then looked back up at Ginny for more. She needed to know this stuff, she wanted to know.
((Fruit juice? Mmmmmmm....))
Ginny grinned and let her sleeve fall down, slipping her wand into the back pocket of her jeans. She stood up and held her hands out, facing them.
"Another way is more heard of than you think. It's called the 'laying of the hands' technique." She smiled, "Old women use this method often, because you need built up magic. It's more often used to heal others, because it transfers the wound."
"For example, say my hand was broken. If someone tried to heal me using this technique, their hand would be in as much pain as if it were broken. It's not one that many people like to use."
She looked at her and then just started taking note. She didn't know why but she was never like this in class. Maybe it was because she was now different.
Sky didn't really write anything down. She wanted to focus hard enough to learn this by memory. But mental notes were good.

Albus hadn't been late for this class, because he enjoyed taking it.
Healing sounded intersting, but he had really practised and trained so that he would be ready, and then hearing that all that work was done for nothing, he was a bit disappointed. Silently, he took notes, using his old feather pen. ~The hand to hand method seems a bit odd. What if someone is dieying
and you want to heal them with the hand to hand method?~ He asked himself.
Then, he raised his hand, wanting to ask Ginny the same question.
Billie hadn't been paying attention, but was in her own little world. Until they started talking about healing. She waited until Everyone had quited a little then raised her hand "I can heal myself" She said not waiting until Ginny called on her. Billie was surprised when no one else was able to. "Then why would they do it?" Billie asked. Her blood healed her quickly and painless.
She looked around and saw Billie just blurt something out and she smiled and laughed a little. Same she said to her self. She finshed takeing notes and then waited for Ginny to say more.
Leah listened intently. She could heal small cuts, almost all vampires could, but she had never heard of healing a bruise before. She raised her hand with a question about the hand-to-hand method.
Ginny grinned widely, "I see you guys all have some questions about this method. Albus, yours is a good place to start."
She smiled at him, "He asked in his mind, what if someone is dieing and someone else used the laying of the hands to heal them?"
Ginny turned around, picking up some chalk. She drew a rough outline of two human bodies, putting X's for eyes on one of them. "Alright, this guy is dying. And this guy wants to save him, but all he knows how to do is laying of the hands." She turned around, her smile became dark, "He has to die in order to save his friend."
She swiped her hand across the chalk pictures, smudging them together, "He will only die if his friend was truly dying. Like I said, the wounds or sickness simply transfers. Sometimes, the healer may get lucky and have an immunity to the sickness, or they may only get a weaker form of it."
"But that isn't always the case." She nodded slowly.
"Billie, please raise your hand and wait until I call on you, alright? Jessie, what was your question?"
Something about Albus' question caught Sky's attention. She focused on Ginny's words.
He has to die in order to save his friend
Billie blushed. "Sorry Professor" she said then kept quiet for a while.
Sky looked out the window and then raised her hand, waiting to be called upon.
*Oh... uhm... yeah, When you use the hand to hand method for broken bones, do your bones break?* Leah asked.
Ginny nodded, "Yup. The break might be just as bad, worse, or nowhere near as bad. But your bones will break."
She nodded at Sky, "You next, Sky. What's your question?"
"I have to leave. I have a note." She held up a small pink piece of paper signed by The Care of Magical Creatures Teacher. "Might I be excused and copy these notes after class Ma'am?" She asked.
Ginny nodded, "Sure, you can leave. As for any notes, you'll have to get them from someone in class. I don't keep notes." She smiled at Sky, "Have a nice day, Sky."
She turned back to the class, "Alright, Billie. I think I've kept you waiting enough. What was it you blurted out before?" She grinned, showing that she wasn't angry at Billie at all, and that she was only teasing the girl.
Billie sat up straight and returned the smiled. "I can heal myself I was born with it and even major injures I can heal then in a short time" Billie said happily.
"Good for you. That was the next method I was going to tell you about."
Ginny smiled, cheerfully.
"Some races are able to regenerate. Though, I bet healing yourself like that takes a little bit of time, no? I'd also bet that you get tired after healing bigger cuts, am I right?" She winked.
"I'd also bet you have vampire or lycan blood in you."
Billie looked at her. "Yes I have vampire blood in me" she said "Also yes really big injures take a while and it is tiring.
Ginny nodded, "Some races, such as vampire and lycans, have untapped power that allows them to heal themselves. Some other races are even more so advanced than that, able to heal even life threatening wounds within an hour or two, without tiring out."
She grinned, "Most races that have this regenerative power are the ones that can live for centuries."
Sky got her things together and headed out of the door. "Thanks Mrs.Weasley."
"No problem, Sky." Ginny gave a small wave, "Be careful out there."
Billie listen to what Ginny had to say about ages. *Well my mother is really old, but pretty young for are kind, and she looks young to* Billie thought to herself as she looked away then back at Ginny.
"That is often the case for such races as vampires, lycans, and the Fallen."
Ginny nodded, as though to emphasize her point.
"There are many races that are capable of living for centuries, even millenniums. And almost all of them are capable of healing themselves quicker than an average human."
Ginny went back to her desk, sitting on it and facing the class, "In addition to wand healing, laying of the hands, and regenerative power associated with race, there is also potion healing. Extremely common, and easy to do. When I took my Healer's classes, they taught us how to disguise the potions as food, such as bread, apples, and candy."

Those words struck Albus right in the heart. ~Would someone do that?~ Then, he destroyed all the passages to his mind, just as Ginny had taught him, not wanting ANYONE to hear, ~Would I do it for Jessie?~ He kept his mind in that condition for a second or two, wanting relax a bit.
Strangely, every time he closed his mind like that, he felt a peace within himself that he couldn't find out where came from. He thoughts wandered to her for a second, as he felt some tickeling in his stomach, while he blushed a bit.
(( Sorry for not posting so much in the past time here! Yesterday started the vacation, and there has been a LOT of test before that! But now, I'm gonna be much more on, and post much more!))
Billie listened to Ginny carefully and started to take notes. After she was done writing she looked up at Ginny and waited for the next thing.
Ginny thought for a moment, "Most healing potions are easy to make, and you can find recipes in Standard Potions books. As for disguising the potions as snack food, you'll have to take the Healer's classes."
She paused, was silent for a long moment, looking out the window.
"Sometimes, there is no way to save someone. Sometimes, there is nothing you can do to help them. And sometimes, there is nothing you can do to save yourself. When that happens, you have to accept it as a whole. Dwelling over a death that was unpreventable is a waste of time."
Ginny sighed, "Also, don't go about trying to heal everyone who needs help. Lots of people have allergic reactions, and some people just can't be healed. Healing is designed by the body, and it usually doesn't need nor want help to do it's job. Only do it if you are in a pinch. And don't overdose on magical healing. The subsequent result is often a feeling of immortality, and none of you are immortal."
"I would say no one is immortal, but there are immortals. I actually know a few of them." She smiled at the memory of her friends.
Albus raised his hand yet again, now wanting to hear when they should start to practise.
What Ginny had said had made a lot of sense. He sat there, waiting for her to allow him to talk.
Leah was interested in what Ginny had to say. She raised her hand to ask a question.
Ginny looked up, startled by the show of hands. "Um, yes, Albus?" She pointed at him.
"Do you have a question?"
Leah turned to look at Albus better. She thought to herself, ~He's really interested in this stuff... but who wouldn't be.... it's fascinating!~
Alex smiled and awaited Albus's question. He was really interested about this class and the healing methods."

Albus the looked at his watch, remembering that he had to go. " i had another question but... Can I too be exused? I'll give you the reason later. I really have to go" Albus said fast.
He just raised and walked out, knowing that he couldn't be late.

Ginny raised her eyebrow, but nodded. "Okay."
She shrugged, laughing slightly, and reaching behind her to a notebook. She opened it up and quickly wrote in it before looking back at the class. She nodded to Leah, "Did you have a question?"
*I have two questions if that's o.k. so first, how can you tell if the situation is in need of a healing method?* Leah asked, leaning forward and turning her head so that she could hear Ginny better and yet still see her.
"Are you in a hurry? Are you on a mission? Is the pain too much for the person to handle? Are you in the middle of a fight? Is it a child? Could the wound become worse, thus threating the persons life?" Ginny smiled, "Yes to any or all of those questions means it's time to heal."
"Simple cuts, bruise, scrapes and the like...well, you can use healing methods, but I advise against it."
*Oh ok. And my second one was, how do you decide which method to use?* Leah asked, thinking about all of the situations that could need healing.
"My best advice is to use potions or wand healing. Easiest and simplest for students such as yourselves to do." Ginny waved her hand, "As for the laying of the hands method, you shouldn't try that one. It zaps your magic, and can end very badly."
"Any more questions?"
Leah nodded and said, *Thank you.* She looked around, expecting more questions. She didn't see any... yet.
Billie raised her hand and waited for Ginny to call on her.

Alex raised an eyebrow and looked as Albus quickly left the room. Hmm wonder what he has to do...
"Go for it, Billie." Ginny nodded at her, encouragingly.
"Okay say were fighting somone and hurt them pretty bad but didnt mean to but at the same time you were really mad at them and didnt like them should you cure them or only cure them some way so they can suffer?" Billie asked.
"Now we are speaking morals and ethics."
Ginny ran a hand through her hair, a bemused expression on her face. "Well, this depends on you. Most people, I'd heal. Or help in some way." She shrugged, "Although, there are some out there that I wouldn't help one tiny bit."
"Okay" Billie said satisfied with Ginnys answer.
The bell rang, and Ginny held out her hand to stop them from leaving immediately.
"I'm not sure if we'll fight next class or not. The headmaster isn't exactly happy about letting me because the Ministry is jumping down his throat for it. I may possibly need to get permission forms from your parents. We'll talk about this next class."
She hopped off her desk and pointed at the door, which sprang open, "Now get out. I have paper work to do." She grinned, showing them she was only joking.
Billie stood up and smiled at Ginny "Yes Ma'am" she said looking at Ginny and then she walked out behind a group of people.
