Sky quietly strolled into the doors of The Hogs Head. Her hair was neatly straightened and her gray eyes shimmered more than ever. She wore a black tank top with Black shorts and a pair of pink converse. (OMG CONVERSE AHHHH!!!!)
She had her wand held in her right hand and some coins in her other. She took a seat at a table and laid back into the worn leather seat of her chair. She looked around casually. There were alot of men in here. Drunk...nasty.. and some old men. Some were fighting, some cheering as they talked about Quidditch matches and women. Sky laughed to herself. The bartender walked over to her. "Butterbeer?" He basically grunted. Sky nodded and handed him four sickles. He snapped his finger and a butterbeer came flying from the bar and onto her table. Sky thanked the tender as he went upon his business. She took a large sip and leaned back again.
Billie sat in the back of the bar watching. BIllie saw Sky walk in. She sat up straight and looked at her. *Wonder what shes doing here.* Billie thought to Pete who was sitting infront of her.
Pete turned swiftly and looked at Sky. Then turned back to Billie *I dont know* Pete said. *but I dont like her being in here by herself* Pete thought more to himself then to Billie.
Billie looked at him oddly. *I agree its unsafe but she has us here so shes not alone* Billie thought to him
Sky noticed Billie and Pete in the Bar. She could tell they were looking at her and were thinking something about her. She waved politely and sipped her butterbeer. She pointed at it while mouthing, "Want one?"
They both mouthed "no thank you" and then looked at eachother. Billie looked around, and looked at her. *Want to join us?* she asked her.
Sky nodded. Why not? It couldn't hurt. She went over to their table. She smiled at Pete then at Billie. "Hey!"
((Ok if I join??))
((Yes Ma'am.))
Billie smiled "hey whats up you want to sit down?" she asked.
Sky nodded and took a seat in a chair. She leaned back in her chair once again.
((Awesome. ^_^))
"Mom, are those some of your students?" A small voice called out above the noise of the pub. From the doorway, Ginny made her way over to Sky and Billie and the boy she'd never seen before. She held the hand of a small, dark haired boy with pale skin and blue eyes.
Ginny smiled, "Yeah, angel. This is Billie and Sky," She paused and smiled at Pete, 'And I'm afraid I've never met this young man before."
Cody smiled at the students, "Gli allievi della mia madre sono sempre interessanti da incontrarsi." He said in perfect Italian, an almost impossible feat, it seemed, for the four year old. He grinned as Ginny cut him a look, clearly confused as to what he had said.
He offered no explanation.
Ginny smiled at the students, "What are you kids doing out tonight?" She asked. Not as a teacher, but rather as an associate who was curious.
Sky looked down at Cody and smiled. He was a cute kid. He looked alot like Ginny in the face. She looked at Ginny. "Oh we're just out getting wasted." She joked.
Pete smiled and before Billie answered he stick out his hand. "Hello I'm Pete, Billies older brother" Pete said.
Billie looked at Ginny "Hey Professor" she said smiling. "Want to join us?" Billie asked laughing. Billie smiled at the kid "its intesting to meet you to" BIllie said smiling.
Ginny chuckled lightly, taking the joke easily.
"Well, alright, but don't let the other teachers catch you." She shook her head, running her free hand through her hair. "You kids be careful, though. Butterbeer is slightly addictive."
She reached out, shaking Petes hand slowly with her free hand. With her other, she held tightly to her son's hand.
"Nice to meet you, Pete." Ginny shook her head at Billie, "No, that's alright, Billie. I'm afraid I've decided it'd be best for me if I stay away from butterbeer and fire whiskey for a while."
Cody tugged her hand, "Can we sit down, though?"
"Baby, I'm sure these guys don't want an old lady and a little kid hanging out with them." Ginny said, smiling at Cody.
Billie smiled at them "I dont mind" Billie said finishing up her second Fire whiskey.
Sky smiled at Cody. "Mrs.Weasley...you seem tired. Do you want us to watch him for an hour or so? So you can relax and maybe get some time to yourself?" She knew she wasn't the best person for the job, but she would never drink if she were watching a child.
Billie didn't drink anymore and sent her mug up to the counter. "Yeah that would be fun"
Cody's eyes lit up, and he turned to Ginny, "Momma? Can I play with them for a while?"
Ginny hesitated, "Angel, I don't know..."
He tugged her hand, "Please, Mom? I'll be good, I promise. Attraversi il mio cuore!" He made an X over his heart. He smiled at Sky, then back at Ginny.
"I don't think so, Cody. Not tonight, ok?"
His face fell, deeply, and he looked down. "Kay." He muttered, the anger and disappointment evident in his tone.
Sky shrugged. "Just let me know if you ever need a break Mrs.Weasley. I promise I won't endanger him." She grinned and scratched her wrist.
Ginny shook her head slowly, "My worry isn't that you will endanger him." She said, looking down at Cody without a smile, "It is that he will endanger you."
Cody suddenly grinned, even though he never lifted his gaze from the floor. He raised his eyes lsightly to meet with Sky's and said nothing.
Sky laughed. "Endanger me?"
Billie looked at both of them. She was lost, and so she kept quiet.
Ginny didn't laugh, though. She just raised an eyebrow, "You aren't taking me serious, are you?" She tilted her head slightly, "This boy...isn't a regular four year old."
Half of her, half of Xaver.
Two of the most powerful people known.
Cody looked up, and said very softly, "I'm the Fallen Prince." He doubted she would get the context of what he said.
Sky smirked. "He's a kid, I know. Kids can't quite control their powers. But I've been through alot and I've learned how to defend myself for alot of things." She sighed. She'd rather not get into the subject. She took a notebook out of her messenger bag and started to draw.
Billie heard Fallen and started to wonder what the heck that was.
Pete looked at them and smiled
Ginny smiled slightly, and Cody shrugged his little shoulders. They had nothing to prove.
After all, the Ministry didn't try to exile every child who couldn't control his powers.
They didn't want to kill every child who couldn't control their powers.
Cody looked at Billie with a small smile, "I met you before, right?" He smiled, "I remember you."
Sky looked up. She noticed two drunk men fighting over the Scottish Quidditch teams and the Italians. She laughed. She thought watching drunk men fight was better than muggle television.
Billie looked at Cody "Yes we've met before in the forest I believe wow that was night" Billie said remembering his wings. She looked at him. "So is that what a Fallen is?" Billie asked. She had never heard of them, and had never seen wings like his. *It must be* she thought to herself. Billie then smiled at the little boy.
Cody smiled, and before Ginny was even able to attempt to explain, he nodded.
"Yes, Fallen Angels." He let go of Ginny's hand to clap his hands, "Your right!"
Ginny shifted nervously, "Angel, hush. Not here, not now."
Cody's face fell. He knew his mother told him to hush for good reason. They were in a pub, with drunk men. Most who feared his kind.
Sky looked at Cody. "Can I draw him?" She asked Mrs.Weasley. "I've never seen a Fallen before and I'd like to draw one." She hated to classify him as a Fallen. But what else could she call him?
Billie smiled faded a little "Would you rather go somewhere else?" She asked them happy that she figured it out. "The lights not to great here" Billie said. "Lets go somwhere I hate this place it smells of dirty feet" she said and smiled more.
Ginny nodded, "It's alright with me, Sky. But Billie's right. Let's get out of here."
Cody grinned, jumping up and down with excitement, "Yeah, then I can show you my-" Ginny clapped her hands over his mouth, her face pale with anxiety.
"Angel, hush."
"Wings." Sky finished quietly. She grinned humorisly and walked outside, waiting for the others.
Ginny and Cody followed, carefully avoiding the drunks in the room.
Once outside, Cody grasped Ginny's hand again, his smile fading to a small frown of fear.
He was a child prodigy, yes.
He was the Fallen Prince, yes.
But he was four years old.
Ginny reached down, and picked her son up, holding him close to her in a sort of snuggle.
"It's okay, angel baby."
Pete and Billie followed them out the door. They didn't say anything.
Sky sighed. "Cheer up Cody. It'll be okay. I promise!" She smiled a friendly smile. "You know, thats a good pose there. Could you stay like that Mrs.Weasley?" She sat on an over-turned barrel and pulled her knee up to set her notebook on and began sketching Ginny and her son together.
"Sure. I carried him for nine months, nonstop. I can hold him for a few minutes." She smiled at Sky. Cuddling Cody to her.
Cody aid his head upon her shoulder, relaxing in her arms. With his parents, he knew he was safe. He watched Sky with interest, amused by the pose she had picked.
Billie smiled *They are sucha pretty family* she thought to herself as she looked at them.
"Pretty like a poison rose." Ginny said, looking sideways at Billie with a small smile. She chuckled softly, as Cody gave her a look of confusion.
His telepathy was powerful, but Ginny had blocked it from him. She didn't want her four year old learning how to manipulate people's thoughts like he did their magic.
Billie smiled "Well you can tell its a red rose" she said pointing to Ginnys hair.
"And two black ones." Ginny added, laughing softly. She put her face down into Cody's obsidian hair, smiling. She loved his hair. Xaver's was gone, at the moment. It had been cut off, last time he was away.
She missed it.
Cody squirmed in Ginny's arms, "Momma?" He asked, quietly.
Sky soon finished the drawing after ten minutes of quick shading and sketching. She gently tore the picture from her notebook and handed it to Cody. "This is for you Sweetie." She said with a smile. She was surprised. She was never nice to kids.
Billie watched Sky handed the painting to Cody. "Thats really good" Billie said
Cody took the picture, holding it so he could view t easily.
"Stupore! You're a great artist!" He exclaimed. "Momma, lookit!"
Ginny smiled, "This is wonderful, Sky. Thank you."
Cody looked up at her with a grin, "Grazie, la signora! Grazi!" He was so excited, he didn't realize he was thanking her in Italian.
Sky didn't know what to say. So she said the only "Your welcome" term in the only other language she knew. Spanish...
"De Nada?" She said while laughing. She hopped off of the barrel. Sky looked at Pete and took out her wand. She made a cake from the bakery appear over his head and let it drop over his head. She ran down the road laughing.
Ginny smirked slightly at Sky's antics, then nodded, "Sorry, you guys. But I need to get my son home. Be good, especially you, Sky!" She called the last part up the road, chuckling lowly.
Cody smiled at Billie and Pete, "Tell Signora Sky I said bye, kay? Bye Miss Billie, bye Signore Pete."
He laid his head back onto Ginny's shoulder as the two of them disappeared.
Billie waved as Pete started to wiped the cake off then started to run after Sky. "Your going to get" He said pulling out his wand.
Billie laughed until she was getting left behind. "Hey guys wait up!" she said as she ran to catch up with them.
Sky ran faster, turning around to see Pete chasing after her. "Oh snap..." She said and went full speed. "He has his wand out now."
Pete ran a little faster and soon was close enough to Sky. Pete pointed his wand at her, and some of the cake that was on him was now on Sky.
Billie started to laugh as she caught up with them and saw what happened.
Sky stopped, turned around and pointed her wand at him. "Gilleus!" Sky said with a smirk. Suddenly Pete's face turned into a fish head. Sky went into a fit of laughter before it returned back into his original face. "Hahaha!"
Pete screamed like a girl and got down in the fettle postion.
Billie busts out laughing. "Petes scared of fish" She said laughing
Sky bent down. "Oh my gosh. I'm sorry Pete." She felt sort of bad. But wanted to laugh at the girly noise he made. She wiped some cake off of her shoulder. "Here. Cake makes things okay."
Pete stood up wiping the tears away. "Its okay" is sniffled.(hehe i like that word)
Billie at this point was rolling on the ground laughing
She shrugged and flicked the cake on him. "Hehe."
