"Ok..." Ginny muttered to herself, pushing her hair from her face and glaring down at the papers before her. She had five minutes before the bell rang and she wanted to finish looking over these papers before then.
She growled, growing frustrated easily.
"Stupid--headmaster---school---ministry---..." She muttered.
((Open, as all classes are.))
Billie walked into class early for once and saw Ginny "Is there anything I can help you with before class starts?" BIllie asked her as she looked at Ginny desk and saw all the scattered papers.
"No, no..." Ginny muttered, distracted. She sighed, rubbing her eyes roughly and looking up.
"Go ahead and take a seat. Get ready for today's class. It's an interesting one, I'm sure."
Megan came in and and smiled at Billie and Ginny. "Hello."she said and then took a seat. She looked around and then waited for the bell to ring. It was only five minutes but it seemed like fine hours.
"Hello Megan. It's nice to see you took me up on my suggestion." Ginny looked up, running both hands through her bright red hair and closing her eyes. She sat back, crossing her arms and tilting her chair to peer at the two girls.
"I think I'll finish this stupid sh!t later." She muttered, gesturing to the papers on her desk in frustration.
She looked at her and smiled. "Oh just thought I would come a try it out. See if I like it..so far so good."she said with a smile and then looked at Billie. "Hey Billie."she said to her.
Ginny nodded, "It's very possible that you may hate this class. Even more possible that you'll hate me." She nodded, a small smile showing upon her lips.
"Many people end up hating me."
"Okay Professor" Billie said and took a seat on front but towards a corner. Billie looekd at Megand smiled slightly "Hey Megan" she said then got her stuff ready for the lesson.
She looked at Ginny and smiled a little more. "Oh there is a chance you might hate me to. I mean I souldn't even exist."she said to her then relized that she just kinda of gave away that she was a......vampier.
*Dont worry she had me end up telling one whole class that I was* Billie sent to Megan.
Ginny chuckled, "That so, child?" She shook her head.
"I had already had that one figured out. So many students these days belong to the vampire or lycan races, it isn't hard." She smirked, rolling her eyes, "Besides, any doubts I'd had were erased by your panicked thoughts just now." Ginny had been one of the best psychics while she was in school. And now, she was the best. At least, since th others were not very active in the magical community and tended to keep to themselves.
Billie smiled at Ginny "I use to like hiding my secret but now everytime I turn around a new person shows up who already knows it and it makes me mad" Billie said truthfully. "I just want to be normal if I could I would give up being a vampire I mean there so many out there and if somthing goes wrong or their are vampire attacks my family gets in trouble because we had problems back when I was younger and I hate all the stupid people who turne people." Billie said out of no where. She just said everything that was on her mind and she sighed and looked down at her desk.
She nodded. "Well I don't know. I didn't get to pick you know to be human I was in an accident and I was alone so my 'dad' Edward changed me."she said to her and looked down. "It sucks that I don't even remember my real mom or dad. The only real family I have is right there."she said as she pointed to Billie.
Billie looked up and slightly smiled at Megan.
Ginny smiled at the girls, "Being human in a world where other races have far more numbers isn't exactly easy." Her smile was tight, had to read, as were her eyes.
"I'll tell you two what I tell Cody all the time. Being human is boring."
"So are you happy being human?" Billie asked her.
She smiled at little back at Billie. "Well being a vampier isn't always fun"she said to her. "I mean living forever might seem like fun but it sucks knowing that you can't fall in love if you do you will never grow old and they will, but that didn't stop me."she said thinking of Alex.
Ginny blinked a few times, taken aback by the question. She was silent as she thought.
Did she like being human?
Well...
"I wish...I was Fallen...like Xaver." She smiled again, though it was to keep from crying, it seemed. She shook her head, "I'm sure he and Cody would disagree...tell you I'm fine the way I m, but what do you expect from two boys who love you?" She forced out a chuckle, "No, I wish, sometimes, I was Fallen. Besides the wings...it would be helpful...for Xav and Cody."
She sighed, "And sometimes, I am so happy I am human."
She shook her head and smirked at Megan, "Vampire don't live forever, dear. They just live so long that it seems it."
She looked at her and smiled. "I have been 'alive' for now going on 101 years. My 'grandpa' 362 he was born in London the 1640's I was born in 1907. "she said to her
Ginny nodded, "Understandable. Even living so long, you are still simply a child." She shrugged, not at all surprised. After all, Xaver was 1338 years old, by regards of the time of this realm. In his own, he was over 4,000 years old.
The oldest living person she'd ever met. And he was still only 21 in body. 21 in mind set.
Ginny jumped as the bell rang loudly, just above her head. She shook her head, glaring at the bell, then looking back at the girls.
"Vampires actually have a short life span in comparison with Immortals...and there are so few of those." Ginny herself only knew about three.
She looked at him. "Yeah that is true but I hate it because it is like say if you are Goth, Emo, a Prep. People don't treat you write because of that and it isn't right. "she said. Even though it was way off subject.
Ginny's eyes grew dark, and her smile evaporated completely. She slowly stood, her eyes locking onto Megan's, "I would prefer not to speak about discrimination in my class."
She knew.
Her eyes gave it away, even though her mind waves did not.
She knew what it was like to be persecuted, wronged, because of what you were. Not only for herself, but her son. Her baby.
The Ministry was after them for a reason.
She went to the door, turning her back on the two girls as she watched the rest of the students file in. She was lost in her own thoughts now, thoughts of her little boy.
She looked at Ginny and nodded. She meant that she once along time ago people were like that to her. She told her best friend what she was and then her friend trund on her and told everyone and then after that no one would ever talk or look at her again at the school. After that she hasn't told anybody about it scared it might happen again.
That kept playing in her head. Her friends face when she told her and then everybody backing away from her as she walked down the hall. To her it was wrong and she hated it when people were wrong wo other people for what the were or what they acted like. She new if she ever saw something like that ever happening to someone inocent she sould surely step into that fight.
Alex came running in the class. "Sorry am I late again?"

Bilie looked at Megan wondering why Megan had said that. Then looked at Alex and laughed "Late like usual are ya" she said laughing
Ginny gave Alex a half hearted shrug as a reply, and scowled at the wall across the hallway, as more students filed in.
She suddenly had a bad taste in her mouth.
Sky walked into the classroom door and took a seat at a desk torwards the back of the room. She pulled her black hair into a ponytail and let her bangs hang infront of her eyes. She was wearing a white dress shirt with jeans and set her messenger bag next to her feet. She didn't say a word when she came in. She felt like being invisible.
As the late bell rang, Ginny closed the door. Maybe a bit harder than usual, but she hadn't meant to. She walked back to the front of the class, abandoning her frown for a small, sad smile.
"Today, we are going to talk about the difference between killing and murder." She said, her voice very low.
"Knowing this difference is what could possibly save you from almost all guilt associated with killing." She ran a hand through her red hair, pausing and looking at each student in turn. "I don't condone killing, but I understand that there is no way to avoid it."
"Murder, on the other hand, is strictly against my morals. I don't have many, but those I do possess are strong."
Leah had taken a seat near Billie and Megan, and set her bag by her feet. She bit her lip when Ginny mentioned that days lesson. ~Is there a difference?~ She thought.

Jessie sat next to Billie and smiled at her, and then perked up at the lesson. ~Ginny always has the best lessons when we're in-class~

Ginny nodded towards Leah, "Yes, there is a diffrence. Why else is there two words?"
She sighed, "This is obviously going to be a discussion of ethics and morals, and thus, everyone will hold a diffrent vantage point. One thing to be sure we all agree on, ending the life of another is wrong under any circumstance. Always."
When Sky heard Ginny describe the days lesson, her pale grey eyes widened. She felt tense all of a sudden. She shook her head to shake off the feeling. Sky knew there was a difference between the two. A very large difference. She hoped her emotions wouldn't get in the way of her lesson today. She messed with the collar of her shirt and listened closely to what Ginny had to say.
Leah blushed slightly and looked at her desk, which had her hands rested on top of it, folded neatly as always. She had known Ginny could read her mind, but didn't think that she would say anything out loud about it. Leah liked talking about things that would have many opinions, so she forgot her slight embarrassment and payed attention. She saw Sky fiddling and was about to ask her about it when she remembered that Ginny could read her mind.
Sky noticed someone look at her. She looked around the classroom and then seen Leah. She waved and gave her a small smile.
I didn't know there was an actual difference between killing and murder. He thought to himself and paid close attention. He was intrigued by what they were going to learn today. Proffesor Weasly always had interesting classes.
"To begin, 'killing' is ending a living beings life. Usually, one kills in defense, and there is most of the time, no way around it. It is such the case in war. 'Murdering' is killing someone in cold blood, for your own purposes, or just because you felt like it."
Ginny frowned, looking at each student. Her eyes were dark, stormy, and unreadable.
"I have committed over two billion counts of murder."
The words seemed to echo in the silence of the room. In reality, almost no one had ever killed and murdered as many people as Ginny had. Even soldiers couldn't admit to that high of a body count.
Billie had been thinking about the one person she killed by she had good readon for it, but she still didnt like the fact she did it. Billie looked at Ginny hearing her last words. *two billion* she thought to herself sadly... *I hope she had good reasons* BIllie thought again.
Ginny shook her head slowly, "No. I didn't have good reasons. I told you, I murdered them."
She ran her hands through he hair, "And two billion is the latest estimation."
Which meant there was more.
More lives she had ended.
Leah waved back at Sky and smiled. She looked back to the front of the room at Ginny. When the words hit her, Leah's jaw dropped... all the way. She realized it after a minute or two, and hastily closed her mouth and thought ~Is Ginny a fish? Because she has a lot of cold blood in her...~
"I killed them because I felt like it. I've killed men, women, old people, even children."
She held up her hands, palms facing them, "Every day, I awake and see the blood upon my hands. It never goes away. I've tried washing it away...it just smears."
She lowered her hands, "I can't tell you to never kill. But I can tell you to never murder."
Billie looked at Ginny even after learning that she still had a lot of respect for Ginny.
"Well, I could go on and on, and preach and lecture. But really, you won't listen unless it's something you want to know."
She paused, "So what would you guys like to know? I'll answer any questions."
Billie raised her hand and waited quietly to be called on.
"Go ahead, Billie. What's your question?"
Ginny had yet to smile since the bell had rung.
"Do you regret any of your murders? How many people have you killed?" Billie asked looking at her wondering.
"I have killed...mind you, this is as close to a guess as I can make, about 2,856,403,065 people." Ginny shrugged, "I may be off by a few numbers."
She paused though, " Do I regret it? Absolutely. As I said, I still see their blood." She bit her lip, roughly, "I still hear their cries at night...I still hear them begging."
Billie jaw dropped and she closed it quickly. She had felt bad about killing one person but would probaly kill herself if she killed that many.
Sky raised her hand but couldn't help herself.
"Pardon my interupption ma'am, but you said in war, ending someone's life is just 'Killing.' Wouldn't it be murder either way? I mean...ending a strangers life for you own benefit. Freedom."
"Are you doing it for yourself? Or for your country? For your king, or queen, or leader? No, there's a difference. Doing it in someone else's name, it's killing." She nodded, to emphasize her point.
"War isn't always about freedom. Sometimes it is about simple domination."
Sky crossed her arms. "I believe that ending another mans life is murder." She said simply. "People have a choice not to do it by the way." She added.
"War is active hostility or tension. In conflict, or the state of strong opposition. A state, or period of contest or contesting. Confliction. Battle."
There was a dark, falsely bemused grin that upset the hard, shadowed angles of the Fallen lord's face, his lips upturned into an expression that pulled and teased the handsome planes of his features. Genuine laughter touched the creases of his eyes, softening the hard ice within the moody, deep sea blues of his orbs.
"My pardon, yours, Milady," Xaver dropped his head in Ginny's direction, and bowed at the waist, before his lith creature again swept upward, and he returned to his light, dangerously easy gait, away from the shadows in the corner of the room, where he'd been, until then, remotely unnoticed. "Is death not death, and the means of getting others there only by said intentions? Whether wrath or mirth or general intention of death has purpose at all?"
He was toying with her, yes.
Just a little.
And the students.
Curious to the responses.
The title, he used in respect, for right then she was before her students - and he could show her no less, in such respect. Whether or not the amusement touching, and softening the ice chips of his gaze, was giving off a far more informal greeting.
Ginny folded her arms, once again leaning against her desk. She nodded her head back at him in greeting, though she didn't smile. Her eyes warmed, lightened, but still she didn't smile.
She answered Sky first, "People have that choice...usually. But not always. It's a kill or be killed world these days."
She looked at Xaver with slightly narrowed eyes then, "The way you perceive taking another's life is the whole purpose of this. exercise To live with yourself if you act in defense of yourself or those you love in the event you murder. To be able to bear the guilt associated with taking another's life."
She shook her head, her red hair swaying gently, then swept a hand towards Xaver, "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce Xaver Xian. He has a flair for the dramatic, I'm afraid."
Sky raised a brow at the man who had entered the classroom and leaned back in her chair. She leaned her head on her arm against the desk. What fun this was.
"Ah. You wound me."
A devastatingly charming smile ghosted his handsome features, a brief show of warmth, and energy flickering to life, before becoming again shadowed behind the many veils his true self was chained amongst.
"Perhaps not a flair. Let us call it... mere habit, yes? Surprise is always the best vantage point."
Seriousness swept over him, effectively condoning any remaining playfulness.
"Indeed. Perception is what defines crime, is it not?"
Xaver tilted his head to the side, very slightly, the shadows toying with the hard planes of his face, the short, obsidian buzz of his recently cut hair ever sharpening his already strikingly predatory features.
"But what if a man truly believes his rightness in such a situation? Where is the line drawn between the likenesses of sanity?"
Within, he smiled.
Egging her on.
Wishing for her to continue, with a new perspective.
Ginny tilted her head, frowning at him as though he were some fly buzzing around her ear. A pest. Though, it was all in good humor.
"Which is were society's perception upon said crime comes in. Crime is measured by society's standards, and if society says that taking another's life isn't a crime, then it isn't, is it?"
She smirked slightly, "Mere perceptions are what can make you." She paused, her smirked fading, "Or break you."
"Sanity is defined by society's social norms. What is not normal is insane, what is normal is sane. What can be understood is sane. What cannot be explained, much less understood is insane. Get the picture?"
Leah sat up straighter in her chair. This would be a fun lesson. She especially loved the games that Xaver and Ginny were playing, even though they weren't showing any signs of it. She liked Xaver already.
Leah nodded, but raised her hand in question all the same. She understood what Ginny had said, or at least part of it, and wanted to understand it better.
Ginny narrowed her eyes at Xaver for another moment, then turned and nodded at Leah.
"A question. Shoot." She waved a hand towards Leah, motio9ning for her to ask away.
*I don't mean to get off the subject or anything, but does that mean that in actuality, no one is insane?* Leah asked, hoping that Ginny wouldn't get mad that she had strayed from the subject.
"I am insane...so, no. Someone is insane. Me." Ginny pointed to herself, cracking a smile for the first time since the bell had rung.
She even chuckled lightly.
"Seriously...there are crazy people...but insane? Well, not really. They are people out of their minds...people with real problems, like schizophrenia...and then there are insane people. Insanity, as I said, depends upon societies perceptions."
Leah nodded, understanding her point of view on the subject. *Thank you* She said, smiling.
Alex lightly chuckled. He was still taken aback by the huge number that Ginny had stated.

Leah had already recovered from the shock, due to the general number stated earlier in class. Both numbers seemed to attract jaws to the floor.
"Anyway, it's not quite so off of subject, is it?" Ginny shook her head, "In fact, if you begin to realize exactly how perceptions are the basis on which our laws and feelings around bound, then you will begin to realize how people can live with themselves even after committing what you consider an unforgivable crime."
"What we consider a crime may not be a crime everywhere in this, or other worlds. It all depends on society. As a group, do we believe that this crime is wrong? Or do we think there is some higher purpose, and that any crimes a person commits are simply playing into that purpose?"
Ginny smiled slightly, "Which, of course, brings up the old debate of whether or not our free will is actually 'free', and we are not ultimately controlled by some high purpose, a god, if you will."
Leah nodded, glad that she had brought up a good point. She wanted to get back on subject, but Ginny knew what she was doing, so Leah sat back in her chair to listen to the lesson.
While the class discussed insanity and our "free", Sky took out some parchment and a quill and doodled on it. But she did listen to the conversation, but most of it didn't quite attract her attention.
Leah noticed movement, and turned towards it. It was Sky, taking out a piece of parchment. Leah wondered if she was taking notes, but then saw doodles forming and ignored it. If Ginny saw Sky... well, there was no telling what might happen.
But Ginny did see Sky. She saw every movement Sky had made. Leaning over, taking out the parchment, each stroke of her quill. Ginny knew what Sky was doing. She let it go.
For the moment.
"Which leads us to who is truly to blame for a killing? The killer or the killed? Or possibly, neither of them? Perhaps a high purpose had decided that this killing was going to happen and nothing would change that. Fate, destiny, whatever."
She paused for a moment, letting her thoughts arrange, "And so, because we cannot definitely answer these questions, we must for ourselves decide the difference between a killing and a murder."
Billie raised her hand and waited for Ginny to call on her.
Ginny nodded at Billie, "Yes?" She asked.
She still had that sour taste in her mouth from her and the girl's conversation before class. But she would ignore it until she was alone.
Billie looekd at her. "Okay so say I killed someone but it was only to protect people I care about is that a murder or a killing?" she asked
Ginny shrugged, "I'd say it's simply killing. But I'm sure Sky would say it's murder."
Ginny cast a glance over at Sky, then looked back at Billie, "Sometimes, you have to kill someone to save yourself or others."
Sky looked up at Ginny and ignored her comment. "It can go both ways." She said after a moment of thought. "If someone is after your family and you kill them before even making an attempt at defense or stunning them, then I believe it's murder. But if you've given every attempt that you could muster ,have no choice in the matter, and you're family or whoever you are protecting is in mortal danger, I believe it is just killing. Either way...It'd still attack my consciense. *Bad spelling meh!*
"Okay" Billie said simply and and laid her head on her desk.
Leah couldn't help but smile a little at the way Ginny had handled Sky. She heard what Billie had asked though, and wondered, ~Did Billie actually kill someone?~
Leah agreed with what Sky had said, but only partially. Therefore, she raised her hand to provide a different point of view.
"Yes, Leah?" Ginny nodded at her.

((*gasp* I feel so honored to be a witness of it! And yet not, because it's short... which isn't good.... which technically means that I shouldn't be honored.... Oh well!!))
*Well I do agree with Sky.* Leah said, turning to face Sky as she continued, *But, are you saying that you should wait until your family is definitely dying to try and save them? Or to wait until the last moment to act? Personally, I think you should try other things, but then when things start turning for the worst, go more drastic.*
Sky looked at Leah. "Of course not! But it doesn't mean that you're first attempt should be to end their life." She said, wondering if this class would ever move onto something more...interesting.
Billie looked up as the class started to actually talk.
*I know, and I just mean that you should try some things, but depending on the amount of time you have, killing may come quicker than you plan!* Leah said, casting a quick glance at Ginny, hoping she wouldn't get mad because of the open discussion.
Ginny watched the two girls, her head going back and forth. When Leah looked at her Ginny raised an eyebrow.
"By all means, continue ladies."
She wasn't teasing them. Or mocking them. She wanted them to talk.
Sky looked down at her piece of parchment. For some reason she drew a wolf, peering out behind some trees. "You know what...it differs from person to person. We have different ideas of what the difference between Killing and Murder are...." She said quietly.
Ginny nodded, "I told you all at the beginning of class that you'd have different perceptions."
She leaned forward though, clasping her hands and focusing on Sky. "So what's your perception?"
She looked up at Ginny. "Murder is murder." She said clearly. The image she had seen as a child proved it all.
"Even when it's in self defense? Even when it's kill or be killed?" Ginny tilted her head, truly interested in Sky's point of view.
Sky sat in her desk in silence, still staring at Ginny. She didn't reply but just sat there. Her head started to hurt from thinking so much about her question. Finally she answered ever so quietly. "Y-yes...." She said.
Billie looked at them very intrested in what they had to say..
Ginny smiled, a soft pleasant one and leaned back.
"Well then, raise my number up a few hundred or so, okay guys?" She told them, nodding earnestly and backing off Sky. She didn't want to push the girl too far, just wanted her to think.
"Yes. Go ahead." Sky mumbled, crumpling up her paper and shoving it in her bag.
Billie looked at them. They were getting serious and it was kinda of scaring Billie.
(lol don't be scared Billie... we won't hurt you... hehehe...)
Leah watched Sky, seeing the hurt in her eyes. Leah frowned, wondering what it was that caused her so much pain. ~I'll ask Jessie later, she might know.~ She thought to herself. She raised her hand slightly, to show to Ginny that she wasn't quite done yet.

Billie just watched as they talked then saw Leahs hand go up.
Leah put her hand all the way up in case Ginny didn't see her.

Ginny nodded, "Go ahead, Leah." She said.
Billie looked at them and waited.
Sky quietly munched on a cookie.

Leah said, *Well I kind of have a comment. So my comment is that I don't think the world will ever come to a conclusion on the difference between the two because everyone have such different opinions.*

Billie shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "prolly not" Billie mummbled to herself.
Leah ignored Billie's comment and sat back, folding her arms across her chest.
Sky watched Billie and Leah. "Of course everyone has a different opinion. Thats what sets people apart. We're never going to agree on the same things. You could set a dalmation infront of 1000 people and surely someone will call it something else."
Leah nodded and said, *That's true, but some might not call it at all.*
Ginny slowly began to smile as Leah made her comment. The smile grew as the kids began to talk about perceptions.
"So, you guys get the idea?"
She leaned forward, "Perception is everything. How you, as a person, views something. That's what keeps most people from going crazy. What you believe in." Ginny smiled, "Now, all you have to learn is the Life Laws."
Alex opened his eyes and felt his face slightly burn up realizing he fell asleep. He caught the part about life laws though.

Leah raised her hand. She was sure Ginny would answer it anyways, but she wanted to make sure it was.

Ginny looked at her watch, then nodded at Leah, "Make it quick. Class is almost over."
Billie checked the time and gathered her things so that she could get out of the classroom quickly.
*What are the Life Laws?* Leah asked, hoping that was quick enough. She organized her things on her desk so that she could 'grab-and-go'
Alex laid his head back on the desk accidentally letting out a yawn waiting for class to be dismissed.
Ginny smiled, holding up a hand, "I';ll tell you next class, Jessie. You guys can leave early. I don't have anything left to teach you today."
There was still a moment until the bell rang, but Ginny opened the door and stood back, allowing for them to leave.
"Bye Proffesor" Billie said as she walked out the door and headed towards her next class.
Leah grabbed her stuff and tossed it in her bag. She walked out the door and said, *Thank you proffesor!*
