Virgil was walking in the forest wearing a long black cloak, and some jeans under the light of the moon, as he stopped, and sat on a rock, looking up into the sky, as he layed back onto the rock, and sighed. He got back up, and started walking some more, as he heard someone coming. He turned around and said "Who's there?"
Billie walked out from behind a tree. She was covered in blood. She hadn't had time to change yet. "Its just Billie" she said looking at him. "Sorry if I scared you" she said. "I didn't mean to sneak up."
Virgil was slightly supprised to see Billie covered in blood, but then again, not the strangest sight he ever saw.. "I wasn't really afraid, I just don't like people coming out of nowhere.. Well, at night atleast. Erm.. midnight snack?" he said, walking over to her.
Billie smiled and looked at her clothes"Oh um yeah" she said "I'll be right back" she said. Billie ran behind a tree and picked up a pair of jeans and a shirt and changed quickly then walked back out. "Much better" she said laughing
"Nice. What were you doing all the way out here anyway?" said Virgil, as he leaned back on a nearby tree, looking at Billie.
Sky walked quietly along the dirt path of the forest. She wore a black and red t-shirt and light blue jeans with her black converse. She could hear voices. "Hello?" She listened intently. "I know those voices." She whispered. "Hey Vergil! Billie!" Sky called, jogging torwards them.
"Well I was haveing a small snack so I don't kill anyone" Billie said laughing even though it was true. "What aout you why are you out here?" Billie turned to see Sky coming towards them. "Hey Sky" Billie said smiling.
Sky waved. "Hey." She said with a smile, walking up to them.
Virgil whipped around, at the sound that he knew to be Sky. "Hey Sky, what are you doing out so late?" said Virgil.
"Can't sleep." She simply said. She rubbed her arms, cold from the late night breeze. "I figured somebody would be here. So I decided to walk here rather than the lake."
Billie smiled. "Well you were right." she said.
"Hehe. I guess I am." She responded with a grin.
Virgil leaned back on the tree, as he said "Im more of a night person. I like to stroll under the moonlight.. Helps me focus myself."
"I like the day time" Billie said. "Much more brighter."
"I like the night. Maybe around 3AM." Sky said, looking at the stars. "When everything is quiet."
"Well, what are we going to do know?" said Virgil simply.
Sky shrugged. "I dunno."
Billie looked around. "I dont care" she said
"How about we.... er.. no.. I got nothing." said Virgil.
Sky sighed. "I think we should go swimming. There's a spring near the end of the forest." She said suggestively.
Virgil looked over to Sky and said "Doesn't matter to me. What do you think Billie?" as he turned and looked at Billie.
Sky was already ahead. She wanted to see the springs. She had never been there before.
Virgil followed quickly behind her, looking around, for this creek they were going to.
Brenden heard the cracking of the leaves under a runner's feet. He was outside to look at the stars, thinking no one was out at this hour. He tried looking back in his position, but only saw the tops of trees, so he hopped up and followed his ears to the source.
Sky ran torward the spring and collided with a stranger. She fell down on her back, rubbing her head. "Ow..s-sorry."
Virgil following behind her saw the stranger, and helped Sky up. "Are you ok?" he said to Sky, as he looked at the stranger. "Who are you?" he said.
"Argh..." Brenden fell to the ground. "What the f-.." He saw it was a female, and remembered his manners. "Do you need help...?" he asked slightly rubbing his elbow. He offered his hand to help her. " I am... Brenden Zerex... And you?"
Sky smiled. "Thanks Vergil." She looked at Brenden. "I'm Sky Mason." She said, taking his hand.
Virgil looked to Brenden and said "And im Virgil Hendrix. Nice to meet you."
"Ah, Vergil, and Sky. Nice to meet you both. I apologize for our collision there, Sky." Examining the two, he asked, "Were you two heading to the Stream ahead?"
Sky nodded. "It's okay. I was being careless. I should apologize for being un-alert. And yes, The three of us are going." She said, pointing to Billie. "Would you care to come along?"
"Of course! I'd love to go for a swim."He gave a small grin, then took off running to the spring.
Sky looked at Vergil, shrugged, and ran in the same direction. She stopped at the spring and grinned. The spring with steaming and surrouned by smooth rocks.
Brenden saw Sky staring at the stream, he decided not to break her focus, so stayed out of the water.
Billie had been in her own little world. Which contained duct tape and fish... Billie looked at them and ran towards the spring.
Sky took off her t-shirt and revealed a black tank top. She used her wand and accio(ed) a towel and shorts and went to change FAR AWAY. She came back and dove into the spring with a big splash.
Virgil decided not to lag behind, so he ran right after them. He ran to the spring, and took off his bag, and shoes, and shirt, and pants, to reveal shorts as he did a flip into the water.
Sky dove underwater and came back up. After taking a deep breath, she pushed her hair back out of her eyes. "This is nice. I hope we don't get caught."
Virgil looked over at Sky and said "I don't think any teachers come out here this late. i wouldn't worry about it." as he dove under the water. He soon resurfaced, and layed on his back.
Sky went to lean against a large rock. "You never know." She said to him. She closed her eyes.
Brenden removed his Coat and shirt, and walked down the shallow side in. "I wouldn't worry."
Virgil climbed out of the water, then transformed into his animagus state, and flew into the air. He changed back in mid air and screamed "CANNONBALL!" as he came falling back down to earth.
Sky laughed and put her arms up to block the water from hitting her face. Once the waves calmed, she looked at Brenden. "So Brenden..what house and year are you?"
Billie had been walking slowly and she watched them all get in the water. Billie looked down and ran behind a tree and dug through her clothes then went to the next tree and found what she was looking for. Billie went farther in the forest and changed into a tank top and shorts then walked back over to the spring and sat at the shore and watched them.
"Come on Billie!" Sky said. "Get in!"
Billie waited a few minutes then walked into the water.
Sky noticed Billie was being slow and grabbed her leg, dragging her into the spring.
"Year four, and Gryffindor. What about you?" Brenden swam toward Sky. "C'mon Billie, we can't be out here all night, ya know!"
Virgil swam over to billie, and splashed water in her direction. "Come on, you know you want to!" he said. "Im a seventh year, by the way Brenden." he said, as he looked at Brenden.
Billie went under the water then came back up. She looked at Sky. "Ugh" she said.
"Come on, Billie!" He said in his most urging voice. "It'll be fun, just try it out."
Sky grinned. "Year six." She said and splashed Vergil. "Your old." She joked.
Billie smiled and went under water and sat at the bottom of the spring.
Virgil looked at Sky, as he splashed her back. "Im not old, your just young. Its a one year difference anyway, whats the big deal?" he said splashed her some more.
Sky smirked and splashed him even more. "Maybe it's not a big deal at all."
"That's what I thought!" he said with a smile as he started thinking. "I just got an idea!" he said as he swam to the very bottom of the spring, and started to bubble. Virgil then resurfaced, and said "Can't have a hot tub without bubbles." with a smile to Sky.
Sky looked at the bubbles. "BUBBLES!" She said, trying to grab them. She laughed and sunk into the water so only her eyes stuck out. Then she slowly rose and spit water at Vergil. "Hehe." She laughed.
Virgil smiled as he dove under the water, coming up under Sky, picking her up, and dropping her back down into the water. "Hehe." he said with a slight grin.
Sky yelped as she was picked up by Virgil. She came back up and dunked Virgil.
Billie swam up to the surface and watched them. "Wow you guys are so odd" she said
"Billie, you know you want to." He said, as he splashed her and Sky.
Sky swam over to the far side of the spring to avoid more splashes and being dropped in.
Virgil got out of the water and stood on a rock, and did a double backflip into a dive into the water. When he resurfaced, he said "Tired already Sky?"
Sky shrugged. "A little bit." She said, closing her eyes. She put her hair into a ponytail and squeezed the water out. "So...now what?" Sky asked, seeing if there was anything they wanted to do.
Virgil once more got out of the water, grabbing his wand, and said "Impervius." as he pointed it to himself, and to Sky. "I'm up for something new. What do you suggest?" he said looking at everyone.
"Thanks." Sky said, fixing her hair. "If you guys want something to eat, I can use Accio to get something from the kitchen..."
"I could use something to eat, I really want some fries. I haven't had some in forever." said as he put his shirt back on, and sat on a nearby rock.
Sky flicked her wand torward the castle. About five minutes later, a few bottles of butterbeer, fries, and chicken NUGGETS (Haha..sorry...I felt like being a kid with nuggets,)) came zooming over to them and landed in their hands. "Woo! Nuggets!" Sky exclaimed, shoving one in her mouth.
Virgil looked as the food floated through the air, as he grabbed the fries. "Hehe." he said as he started eating.
Sky sat down by a tree and slowly ate her food. "Ah..swimming with a happy meal." Sky said with a smile.
Virgil walked over past Sky, as he quickly swiped one of her nuggets and shoved them in his mouth. "You were right, these are good!" he said laughing.
Sky looked at Virgil, her eyes widening. "YOU STOLE MY NUGGET!" She jumped up, grabbed him and pushed him into the spring, laughing.
Thinking quickly, he transformed into his animagus state, and grabbed his fries with his claws. He flew back to land, as he sat his fries down, and landed on Sky's shoulder.
Sky looked at Virgil sitting on her shoulder. "Don't Poop on me please!" She said, laughing.
Virgil looked at Sky, before hopping off, and returning to his regular form. "I wouldn't poop on you." he said laughing as he picked up his fries, and started eating again. "You want some? They are really good!" he said, holding the box towards Sky.
Sky took a fry and smiled. "Thanks, they are good."
"I know right?" he said as he took a butterbeer and opened it, before starting to drink.
"Like, Totally!" Sky said in a preppy voice, twirling her hair around her finger and rolling her eyes.
Virgil started laughing, as he spit butterbeer out of his mouth. "Nice one!" he said to Sky.
Sky laughed at the site of him spitting his drink out. "Here, let me get that." She pointed her wand at his shirt to remove the liquid.
Virgil looked at his shirt, as the liquid disappeared into thin air. "Thanks for that." he said to Sky. "I know a place around here where I made a sort of camp fire last year. Want to check it out?" he asked.
"Yeah!" Sky said. "Lets go!"
"Okay, follow me then." he said, grabbing his bag, and the rest of his stuff. He started walking a little bit into the forest, before coming to a clearing with a small pit with wood in it. There were logs placed all around it. He looked at the pile of wood, before breathing a short burst of fire onto it, to get it started.
"I love fire. I get mezmorized by it. The way it dances..." Sky said as she made it to the fire. She sat down on a large log and watched the fire.
Virgil sat next to Sky, as he said "Can't have a fire, without marshmallows." as he pointed his wand towards the castle, and said "Accio Marshmallows." Soon enough marshmallows came flying through the air, and landed in Virgil's hands. He picked up two sticks and handed one to Sky, as he opened the bag of marshmallows, and put one on his stick, before handing the bag to Sky.
"Gracias Senor (Seen yor XD)" Sky said, putting a marshmallow on her stick.
"De nada." said Virgil holding his marshmallow to the fire.
Sky stuck her marshmallow into the fire. "You're pretty cool. I don't know many guys who can be a pheonix and have fire powers."
Virgil grinned slightly and looked at Sky and said "Your pretty cool too. I didn't know many girls could be as fun as you." as he took his marshmallow out, and started blowing on it.
Sky looked at her marshmallow and pulled it out. "Me? Fun?" She said with a grin.
Virgil then said "Yeah, your the most fun I've had in years." as he put his marshmallow into his mouth.
Sky took a bite out of her marshmallow. "You must have a pretty boring life." She said. "You're pretty fun too. Even though you stole my nugget."
"Well, I don't really have that much to do at home, since I am alone most of the time. My aunt is there some, but not alot, guess you could say my life is boring.. But that chicken nugget was awesome!" said Virgil. "What is your life like?" he asked.
Sky stared at the fire. She waited a moment before speaking. "Lonesome..I suppose." She finished her marshmallow. "I have friends here...but I can't help but feel lonely inside with my parents gone."
"I feel the same, but I try not lo let it get to me so much. Thats why I take these little night time walks, to un-nerve myself." he said, as he pulled another marshmallow from the bag, and stuck it on his stick.
Sky sighed. "I walk alot. I'm just now getting over my parents' death. I just need something to replace that little empty space in my heart I guess."
"Well, I guess we aren't that much different then.. I can't let my parents go.." said Virgil as he looked down into his lap, his hair covering his face.
Sky looked at him. He was someone she could share her pain with. She set her stick down and hugged him. A hug equals some sort of comfort after all.
Virgil put his arms around Sky as well, as he leaned his head on her shoulder and a single tear fell from his face.
Sky felt herself want to cry too, but she was used to holding it in. She laid her head on Virgil's shoulder too. "It's nice..." She said. "To have someone to share this with."
"Yes it is." he said simply, as he wiped the tear from his face. "Thanks for that, I really needed it." he said again.
"No problem. I needed it too." She said quietly.
Virgil sat back upright, as he looked deep into the fire. He then said "Yeah, I needed to talk to someone for a long time. Glad to see someone listens." he said with a slight grin.
"Thats what friends are for." Sky said with a smile.
"Thanks, I haven't had real friends I could talk to like this he said, as he looked up into the sky.
Sky nodded and looked at the ground. "My other friends don't understand..."
"Same here. But I understand you, and you understand me, and thats good." said Virgil as he looked over at Sky.
Sky smiled at Virgil. "Very good.." She said quietly.
"Well, I told you what I have to say, do you have anything you need to share?" he asked.
Sky shook her head. "Nah. I'm okay. But thank you though." She said to him.
Virgil stood up as he said "Want to go for a walk?" as he looked at Sky.
"Sure." Sky said and stood up.
Virgil stood by the fire, as he held out his hand, and the fire dissolved into the air. "Well, anywhere in particular you want to go?" he asked Sky.
"Anywhere you want." Sky said. "I just like to walk."
"Im ok with that", as he started walking into the denser part of the forest. "So if you don't have any family, where do you go during the summer?" asked Virgil.
"To be honest.." Sky started. "I have to get my own apartment or something. I don't have any other family. Atleast that I know of. This is my first year at Hogwarts. My old school was basically a "live in" school." She looked at him. "You?"
Virgil simply said "My aunt." as he looked straight forward. "She looks after me, but really lets me do what I want. I don't really see her to much though." he said.
"Oh." Sky said. Atleast he had someone to look after him. "You'll have to visit me over the summer." Sky said with a smile.
"Any time." he said. "Where do you live?" asked Virgil.
"I don't have a place yet, but I'm hoping to get a place near the mountains." She said.
"I can help you find one. Its not like I have anything going on in the summer. Just sitting there, waiting for school to start." said Virgil as he thought for a minute. "I need to find a place too, since this is my last year of school. I think I need to move out of my aunts.." he said again.
"You could be my neighbor." Sky said and sighed. "I'm afraid to live alone..."
"That could work. I prefer to live near people I know." he said. "And I can come over, and we can hang out alot? It would get boring if I just sat there by myself." said Virgil with a grin.
Sky grinned too. "Sounds like a plan." She said. There was a gentle gust of wind. "Brr. Cold chill." Sky said, rubbing her arms.
Virgil looked at Sky shivering and said "Here, take my jacket. I like the cold." as he took his jacket off and handed it to her.
Sky looked at Virgil, who had let her wear his jacket. "Virgil, you dont ha--..thanks." She said, and smiled.
"No problem." he said simply with a smile.
Sky wrapped the jacket around her, making it snug. It was warm and felt good in the chilly air.
Virgil put his hands in his pockets as he asked "So do you know any places where you could live?"
Sky thought for a moment. "Hmm. Well, I think my parents' house is still around, but that is in another country. So...not really." She said to him.
Virgil started thinking as well. "Maybe you can get something in London. Shouldn't be hard to find somewhere there." he said.
"Yeah. I think I might make a trip out there soon." Sky said. "So I can get everything ready."
Virgil then said "Well, I could help you out, I live in London, so it shouldn't be to hard."
sky smiled. "Thank you. You're so nice Virgil."
"Well, I do anything I can for people I care about." he said with a smile.
"You care about me?" Sky asked.
"Well, yeah. Well, I mean... of course I care about you, your the only one who understands me." he said as he tried to pick the right words.
Sky smiled and kept walking.
Virgil walked beside her as he said nothing and looked up to the stars.
"The stars are really bright tonight." Sky said quietly, noticing Virgil looking at the stars.
"Yeah they are.." said Virgil as he kept his main attention on one specific star.
Sky took out her wand and muttered a spell. She waved it through the air as several streams of yellow light ran around them, growing like vines. Then there were blue butterflies. "Its fun to use this spell." Sky said, grinning. She touched one of the butterflies and it faded away.
Virgil looked at the butterflies into the air, as he said "Nice, but I personally like this one my mom taught me." as he pulled out his wand and said "Avifors." All of the previous butterflies were all transformed into small birds, as they flew all about.
Sky smiled at the birds. "It's a pretty spell." She said. "My parents only showed me one spell."
"My parents showed me a few, but I learned a trick or two on my own." he said as he put his left hand back in his pocket.
Sky put her wand away and the lights faded.
"Hey Sky, if I remember correctly, you like charms right? Well, I bet you should know tons of them, right?" he asked curiously.
Sky nodded. "Yes, that is correct. I'm also good with transfiguration. I'm studying to be an animagus." She said to him.
"Thats really cool. I heard it is harder to become one if you weren't born with it, and as you probably know, I'm an animagus." he said as he transformed once more into a bright red pheonix, and sat on her shoulder.
Sky nodded. "It'll take me awhile. I wonder which animal I'd be." She said.
"It all depends on how your inner self feels it can be presented as an animal." he said after he transformed back.
"It'll be fun." Sky said. She took another step and tripped over a twig. She fell onto the ground and just started laughing. She must have looked like an idiot.
"Nice one." said Virgil with a laugh, as he extended his arm to help her up. "I might be able to help you with your animagus too." he said.
Sky graciously took his hand and smiled. "I'd like that."
Virgil pulled her up off of the ground as he said "Well, what kind of animagi would you want to transform into?"
Sky grinned. "I fit the qualities of a wolf." She said, looking down at their hands. She forgot to let it go and slowly released it. "Whoops.." She whispered.
Virgil looked down at their hands together, as he said "No problem.." he said with a small smile.
Sky yawned. "I think I should probably head back. I'm about to fall asleep standing up."
Virgil said "Yeah, its getting late. I'll go back with you." as he put his other hand in his pocket.
Sky started walking in the direction of the school. "Well thank you for taking this wonderful walk with me." She said to him.
Virgil walked right beside her as he said "Well, thank you for letting me take this wonderful walk with you. Have to do it again sometime."
"It's a date." Sky joked. She took off his jacket and handed it to him.
"Cool. Guess that means I have to get you flowers?" he joked back as he took his jacket, and put it in his bag.
Sky chuckled. "No, just you being there would be nice."
Virgil smiled. "Alright then. Its a date." he said.
Sky grinned and her cheeks turned a bit pink. "Okay then.." She said.
Virgil smiled once more as saw her blush a bit. "We are almost to the castle." he said as he looked ahead.
Sky stopped suddenly. She looked around then took a deep breath. Just when everything had become quiet, she took off torward the castle yelling like an indian.
Virgil stopped as well, not knowing what was going on, but ran behind Sky. "Ha." he said as she yelled like an indian.
Sky laughed as a few lights turned on in the castle. One of the teachers peered outside, looking around. "Quick! Get down!" Sky said to Virgil and pushed him to the ground.
Virgil quickly was quickly slammed to the ground, as he pulled Sky down with him, since he was surprised as she fell on top of him.
Sky looked up at the window, as the light went off. She looked down at Virgil. "Sorry." She whispered then smiled a bit.
Virgil looked up at Sky as he whispered back "No problem."
Sky looked into his eyes and smiled yet again.
Virgil looked into hers as well, as he said "Your really beautiful tonite."
"Really?" She said. Nobody had ever said something to her like that.
"Of course." he said with a smile.
Sky blushed again. "I like you." She said quietly.
Virgil then said "I like you too." with a small smile.
Sky grinned. "Great." She said.
Virgil looked at her once more as he said "Enough talk." as he pulled her in closer and kissed her.
Sky's eyes widened when Virgil kissed her, but she slowly closed them and smiled into the kiss.
Virgil smiled as he released his lips from hers, and said "How was that?"
"Amazing." She said to him, smiling still. "How about you?"
"Breathtaking." he said simply with a grin.
She slowly stood up and held out her hand to pull him up.
Virgil took her hand, as he stood up next to her.
Sky grinned and started walking back to the castle.
Virgil walked started walking right next to her. "Does this mean we are officially going out now?" he asked with another grin.
"I hope so." She replied, now approaching the school steps.
"Me too." he said as he walked up the steps into the school.
Sky looked at Virgil then wrapped her arms around him. "I had an extremely wonderful night." She said quietly so nobody would hear.
Virgil in return put his arms around her waist as he said "I did too." also quietly, so nobody would hear, as he kissed her once more.
She wrapped her hands around his neck, kissing him back.
Virgil heard a teacher coming, so he quickly pulled Sky behind a nearby wall, as the teacher looked down the corridor.
Sky looked around and stayed quiet. She didn't want to give them away.
The teacher looked down the seemingly empty hallway, and then walked away. "I think it's safe now." he wispered to Sky.
"Alright." Sky whispered. She held Virgil close, laying her head on his chest.
Virgil smiled as he said "I think we should go back to the common room, before we get caught."
"Okay. Lead the way." Sky said.
"Alright then." he said as he started walking back to the common room.
Sky followed him until they got to the entrance. She said the password and hopped inside.
Virgil followed her inside as he said "What now." quietly, so nobody would wake up.
Sky shrugged. "Want to sit for awhile?" She asked, looking at the couch by the fireplace.
"Sure." he said as he walked over to the couch, and sat down.
Sky walked over and sat down next to him. She pointed her wand at the fire and flicked it, causing a small fire to appear in the fireplace.
"Well, what do you want to talk about?" said Virgil not knowing what to say.
"Anything." Sky said quietly.
Virgil yawned as he said "Could we talk tomorrow? Im kinda sleepy." as he looked at the clock, and it said "3:42"
Sky looked at the clock. Wow. She thought. I'm gonna be exhausted tomorrow. "Yeah, I need to get to bed myself. Goodnight."
"Goodnight." he said as he kissed her on the cheek, and walked upstairs.
Sky smiled and walked to her dormatory and went to bed. Tonight was the greatest night ever.
