It was winter, and Stacey had changed into her snow leopard form and went outside to lay in the snow. Stacey loved the snow, it was cool and soft. It was getting a little dark, but that didn`t bother her, she could easily get back in. Stacey stood and walked over to a big tree. She sat there and looked around.
Raven lay in the snow on her stomach, her bright blue eyes shining brighter than ever with the snow. She laid her chin on a rock and stared at the sky.
Stacey caught sight of something a little away from where she was. ((are you a leopard or yourself?)) She got up up slowly walked toward it. It looked like ((I`m just guessing that you are a leopard.)) another leopard. She knew of one girl that could do that. "Are you Raven?"
((Leopard. Sorry.))
Raven stood up, nodded, and stretched. She pawed at the snow then rolled around in it.
Stacey had turned back before she spoke, and now she was cold, so changed back. She sat and watched Raven. Stacey smiled as well as could in cat form. She changed into a human, but produced a heavy cloak. "You like snow."
Raven gave a small growl that said "Yes". She closed her eyes and sniffed the air.
Stacey looked at the leopard and smiled. She had once been away from home for a whole winter, so when the next winter came, she had acted just like Raven was now.
Raven's eyes opened slowly. She morphed into her normal self, her long brown hair damp from the snow and her black sweater and jeans wet. She smiled and lifted a small pile of snow into her hands and threw it in the air, letting it fall back on her. Her cheeks were already getting red from the bitter cold, but she loved it.
"Do you know why you love snow?"
Raven sat up and shrugged. "I just...do." She said.
"Hmmm."
Raven slowly stood up and wiped off the snow on her clothes. She sighed. "It's rather cold. I think I'll be heading indoors for the evening."
"If you changed into a cat, you wouldn`t be so cold." Stacey said as she turned around.
"Being a cat all the time takes energy. I don't have enough of that." Raven replied. She adjusted her black hat on her head and started walking to the lake.
Stacey turned into her cat form and sat down again.
