Niles was sitting at the three broom sticks waitng for someone to join the rp. He was drinking butter beer and sitting in a dark cold seat in the corner, he liked it there cause it was dark and cold and noone can disinclude him, because he was a werewolf and everybody knew now.
((lol)) Stacey was sitting in a booth by herself at the other end of the Three Broomsticks.
((lol)) Niles got up he was about to leave, but then he noticed his friend Stacey "hey Stacey! I mean Heyyyy Stacey"
Stacey had been staring into her butterbeer, but she looked up when she heard her name. She saw Niles. "Hi." She said once he was sitting across from her.
"whats happining" Niles said cool'ly
"Hmmm. Nothin much." Stacey looked at her butterbeer again, she rolled the glass back and forth in her palms.
"well do you want to do something" Niles said fustrated with Staceys lack of enthusiasm.
Stacey caught what he was trying to do, she smiled. "Sure, do you want to go look at the Shreaking Shack?"
"sure" Niles stood up and walked towards the door "lets go"
Stacey finished her drink and stood up. "Do you know how to get there?"
"um, I do dah, I mean what kind of person, ya no but w will find it"
Satecy laughed. "I know where it is. Come on." Stacey walked toward the door.
Jenny ran right into Stacey when she was walking out of the bar. "Hi Stacey." She said, not noticing the boy.
Niles looked at the girl then at Stacey he never seen this girl before.
"Oh, um, Niles, Jenny, Jenny, Niles." Stacey said, answering the questioning look on his face.
"Hi jenny" Niles said scratching his head, the summer day was burning his skin and made it uncofortable. Niles pointed his wand at his head and then water droped on him "refreshing" Niles said laughing.
Stacey smiled and remembered Jenny. She looked back at her. "Oh, yes, Jenny, Niles and I where just about to go to the Shreking Shak, do you wanna come?" Stacey asked.
((I hope she replies))
"Umm, well." Jenny looked at Niles, he was cute, but she was waaayyy to shy to admit it.
Niles looked at both of them, then back at Jenny "well do you want to go"
Stacey looked at Jenny and saw that she was blushing furiously. She only did that sometimes. Stacey looked at Niles, then back at Jenny, she knew what Jenny was thinking.
Niles was now confused, his brother use to tell him all girls are weird, Niles never belived it, but now he was thinking
"Hey, how about I take you to the Shak during the holidays, it lookes a lot cooler." She said to Jenny, who nodded back. "Ok, I`ll see you later." She added to her cousin. She took Niles` hand and started to walk, her eyes a cheery blue.
Niles smirked, "what was that about?
"She`s really shy." Stacey said. She stopped walking. "Are we going the easy way in, or the hard way?" She asked Niles. The hard way would get them in major trouble if they where caught.
"well, what do you think"
"Just wanted to make sure." She said, knowing that he meant the hard way in. The hard way in was very dangerous and would get them expeled, probably.
for caution, Niles made them both invisable "that will help" Niles said smiling even though she couldnt see it though she is reading it now and she'll know it (lol)
((lmao)) "Wow, I never knew you as the catious type." Stacey said jokingly, looking all around, not knowing where Niles was.
"Not ussaly, but if theres sombody I care about with me" Niled said smiling, even though she cant see it
Stacey smiled, but the smile didn`t reach her eyes.
Niles Noticed he was still holding Stacey's hand, But pertended not to notice
Today would be their lucky day. Kiara had come to visit her old stomping grounds, she had felt some bad tension from the plants and animals here and had decided to pay attention to the old Womping willow and was now, talking to the beast of a tree.
The Earth Goddess did not come around the school very often, perhaps once in every year, some knew her, and others didn't. She kept to herself most the time and went on about her business of taking care of those in need.
Kiara was a kind Goddess and quite liked the children of Hogwarts, she too once had a stay here, though it was purely, as it came to be, for reasons of keeping her from her father and another, even worse enemy whilst she was young.
She heard them coming, didn't have to see them, invisibility only works when one is quiet, after all.
(Hope you don't mind, was board, you can either ignor er, or thank her for keeping the tree off your beinds)
Niles noticed the girl, "booooooo boooooo, Im the ghost of a place that I cant think of right not" Niles loved to joke around
Kiara shot a thought towards his voice, her mind finding his easily enough and hitting him a little harder than she had intended with a small knock inside his head.
"Oh, sorry about that mr ghostie." She smiled in his general direction.
"Niles made himself visible "Kinda of a dangerous place to be by yourself"
Kiara gave the boy a pleasant smile and as well, offered up a half smile. So, this one had absolutely NO idea who she was, this could make for a bit of fun.
"Oh, you think so?" She questioned, as she plucked a dead limb off of the Willow
"well dangerous creatures, and you could get in trouble" Niles said, more curiously. He can see she didn't care much.
Kiara smiled down at him from her position half way up the willow tree and inclined her head to him, her long dark locks of hair falling slightly into her face, concealing for a moment her emerald gaze. She reached up, however with her free hands and tucked the renegade locks behind her ear.
"Thank you for caring." She stated. "I might warn the same for you." She continued, "Though, just now, I wouldn't worry about these things." She finished with a sort of smile on her lips that would suggest she certainly knew something he did not.
"You know, the shrieking shack is not the best of places to play, right?" She stated more so than asked, wondering if he'd catch the fact that he hadn't told her of his destination.
Niles was dumbfounded, how could this girl know were there headed, but of course there headed to that direction so it was apparently
just guess "were not amused by simple games of wizards chess" Niles said with a grin. Niles examined her better, she not that older than him, but
very witty.
"I see." The woman replied in a tone that suggested she quite understood. "Well then, perhaps you would like me to release the willow so that you might play your games then?' She asked, raising a brow in the boy's direction as she pruned yet another dead branch form the tree with her fingers.
Niles was very amused, has he met his match "If you werent here, that willow would have been destroyed" Niles was now testing her
Kiara continued to pluck a dead branch from the willow, her lips still pulled up and into the current smile. She didn't even bother to look at him after he'd made his comment though her lips did turned up that much more.
"Indeed, I am certain it would have been." She stated, humoring the boy.
Niles Liked her , she was very interesting "So why does a girl like your self hang in the forest when your not even a student" Niles then froze he wasnt a student eaither. He felt stupid, But still a good question.
Niles noticed the sky, almost night, thats bad.
Kiara offered him a sly smile and winked at him. "Oh, that is another story all together I do fear" She told him in rsponce as to the why she was here.
She watched him, notice him tense over something, though she wasn't certain what that something was, he quite clearly was suddenly very uncomfortable about something that had nothing to do with her not being a student. She was an immortal, keeper of the earth and all of its creatures and that would include his kind as well and so, felt a sudden twinge and she snapped her head towards him suddenly then gave a look up to the sky before returning her gaze to the boy.
"If you'd like, I could walk your friend back to the grounds." She then stated, knowing, feeling his sudden panic.
Niles pupils closed into cats eyes "Oh I'm very much in control" Niles looked up darkness spread and the moon was only half shown "Stacey knows" he said in a scratchy voice this time "But do you know?"
Kiara watched him darkened orbs turned blood-red, the pupils of her own eyes becoming like slits rather than the normal rounded ones of a human, her hair, once reddish black loosing the red leaving the small lock of white at her brow to stand out as if glowing in the growing darkness as the moon began to creep from behind clouds of gray. She shuddered and then grinned as a pair of great black, dragon-like wings burst through her shirt, ripping the back open enough for their passing and she chuckled slightly at the boy below herself before she descended from the willow, her leather clad feet stepping down to the chilling ground with light steps.
"Do I know wolf? I knew the moment your scent was brought to me on the wind, even before you stepped into view." She granted him a dark yet still, somehow soft smile. "One should never judge a book by its cover, nor should one ever make assumptions that they are alone in any manner of the word." She continued, her words coming to him from a demon's lips, one of her many forms. "And you think you have problems?" She raised a brow and gave him a slight chuckle once more. "You have no idea child, nor could you possibly imagine the problems of the world today, how could you? You are but two creatures." She finished her words still soft, almost caring, not at all suiting her current form.
Niles smirked, "I am only but two creature, but your one to talk" Niles was piratically laughing "I don't recognize this as a problem, but a solution" Niles walked towards Kiara, she was a bit of a show off ((aha)) Niles closed his eyes all he can hear is the screeches of the forest. His senses went up alot, almost perfect.
Show off? Was that what he truly thought about her? He could nto have been more wrong, had she wished to show off, eh would have laid eyes on something truly magnificent, but, she' d let his wrongful thought of her slide away along with his show of... power? She wanted to laugh, though wasn't going to, she honestly hadn't wanted to do this, but in the light of what he was turning into, her demon form was her less threatening to his species and so instead, she smiled at him.
"Perhaps a run through the forest then? I have not had the pleasure in such a long time, to run along side a truly magnificent creature as yourself." She then asked, with sincerity.
Niles was still smirking, unraveling her secrets with his eyes, "Im not much for running now, and to tell you the truth, its not that fun turning if you know what I mean" Niles still thought she was a show off.
Kiara smiled at him and then rolled her eyes. "Very well then." She replied thingying her head to the side. She knew that changing was not comfortable at all, though she cared little of what he thought about her, it wasn't showing off she was doing, but still, let him think what he wanted.
"I like you" Niles said still studying her "Interesting, mysterious"
