It was a pretty cool day outside, as Virgil started walking about the forest as he looked around and saw all different types of creatures in the trees. He arrived at the spot he usually stays at. He quickly transfigured into a red phoenix, as he flew onto an upper section of the tree, and changed back, as he looked around the forest.
Sky jogged through the forest, looking at the trees surrounding her. It was pretty intimidating with how tall they were compared to her. She stopped when she seen a red phoenix in a tree. "Virgil!" Sky whispered to herself. She looked down at herself. Sky was dressed in a red hoodie and black shorts. I look like crap. She thought.
Virgil looked downwards as he saw someone jogging through the forest. He was really to high up to see clearly who it was. The most that he could see was a red hoodie. He crowed before flying down to a lower branch, to possibly see who it was. Once he landed, he immediately knew it was Sky, as he transfigured back into his regular form as he said "Hey Sky."
Sky smiled. "Hello Virgil." She gently wiped her face with her sleeve to make sure she wasn't sweating. "How are you doing?" She asked him, still smiling.
Virgil hopped down from his branch as he smiled. "Hey Sky. I see you must have been jogging." he said as he looked at her appearance, and the sweat beating from her face.
She giggled. "A Girl's gotta stay fit!"
"Guess so." he said. "Hey, wanna hang out later? Maybe after you finish your jog?" he asked.
"Sure." Sky nodded. "I'm pretty much done for the day anyhow." She took her wand out of her pocked at waved it over herself, making herself look as if she was fresh and squeaky clean. She smelled of pears. (YES PEARS!) "Want to send me an owl when you're ready?" She asked him with the same smile.
Virgil then said "Alright, I will owl you later." with a grin, before flying off.

A gray owl flew around as it looked for Sky, before dropping a note into her hands. The note read:
Hey Sky,
Meet me back in the forest.
Hope to see you soon,
Virgil
Sky looked at the note, a few tiny holes in the top where the owl had grasped it with it's claws. "In the forest. Okay." She threw the note away and went upstairs to change. She changed into a black long sleeve and jeans with her school cloak. Walking through the forest, she could see Virgil from a distance. She quickly ran up and hugged him.
Virgil was taken by surprise by the hug, but it didn't bother him to much, as he grabbed her back, and embraced her as well. He smiled, as he loved to hold her in his arms. "Hey Sky. I haven't seen you in a while. I've been doing alot of stuff recently. Its good to see you again." he said.
Sky laughed. "I think everyone has been busy. I've been doing a lot of homework. Studying for my exams too." She sighed, but in a good way. "It's good to see you too."
He looked at the forest around him, as he said "Oh, I almost forgot, I have a gift for you." he said as he pulled out his wand and said "Orchideous." as a variety of different flowers shot from the tip of his wand, forming a bouquet from the end of his wand.
Sky blushed a light shade of pink. "Oh Virgil, They are beautiful!" She exclaimed, looking at the flowers.
Virgil smiled slightly as he pulled the flowers off, and handed them to her. "They are all yours." he said.
"Thank you so much!" Sky said, happily accepting the flowers. "Say Virgil, I've decided that I'm going to rent a place near the beach for the summer. You'll have to visit me sometime."
"Any time." said Virgil. "A place at the beach? Sounds really cool. I'll make sure to come." he said after her next statement.
Sky nodded. "Yeah. I've been looking through the classifieds in The Daily Prophet, and I found a nice place about three hours from here..."
"From the sounds of it, its very cool. I'll make sure to visit, and stay a while." he said. "Then maybe we can hang out on the beach sometime." he then added, as he tried to imagine what it looked like.
"I'd like that." Sky responded. "I'm going there early in the morning to make things final. If you're up for a long drive, and want to get up like...early early, you're welcome to join me."
"I'd like that." Virgil said, even though he hated getting up early. "Where are we gonna meet, and what time?" he then asked her.
"Hmmmm...Let's just say I want to leave by six so we can get there by nine and have time to be at the beach." She said, playing with her sleeves.
"Alright then, six it is." Virgil said, as he thought ahead to his dreadful morning routine, that would be even worse at six.
Sky looked at him, seeing that six would be torture to him. "Are you sure you want to go? I can go by myself no problem." She said, not wanting to make him think he had to go.
"No its ok, I can go with you." he said smiling, as it would most likely be a great trip.
Grinning, Sky said "Okay." She looked at Virgil. "Since I'll be seventeen in about two weeks, I'm allowed to inherit my parents' car. Despite how old it is. It should be here tomorrow morning by Portkey."
"Alright then, guess I will meet you at your car then." said Virgil simply.
"See you then." Sky said to him.

It was 5:47AM when Sky walked outside the castle. The sun had just risen and couldn't have been prettier. Sky was wearing a black tank top with an orange zip up hoodie and black shorts, with her hair straightened as usual. She looked around as she made it to the entrance of the forest., gripping a backpack and putting it over her shoulder. Her car was to arrive by 5:50AM.
Virgil walked out of the castle, not to long behind Sky, wearing a short black jacket, and blue jeans. He yawned as he put his hands in his pockets, and walked up behind Sky and said "Hey." as he looked where she was looking.
Sky turned at the sound of Virgil's voice. "Hello." She said, a bit too tired to say much more. She looked back where the car was supposed to be. It appeared just as she looked back. It was a red Mustang. It wasn't in the greatest condition. It was almost eleven years old, but atleast the Ministry washed it before giving it back. Sky looked back at Virgil again. "Let's hope it runs." She joked, pulling the key she received just a few days back out of her pocket.
Virgil looked forward as the car appeared in front of the two people. It wasn't the best, but it looked pretty good for how old it was, which looked to him, around 10 years. He yawned as he said "That must be your car." he said, as he walked up to it.
"Yeah. I bet it dies before we get there. But ya never know." Sky said jokingly. She stuck the key into the driver side door and unlocked the car, pressing the unlock button for the other seats. She threw her backpack in the back and got into her seat. She put the key into the ignition and started the car, stalling it the first time but getting it running by the second. "This is going to be fun!" She exclaimed sarcastically.
Virgil opened the car door, as he looked at the interior. It looked decent, but could use a little fixing up. He then took his bag off of his shoulder, and threw it next to Sky's, and hopped into the car. "This is going to be very interesting." said Virgil, not really knowing what could happen.
"How so?" She asked. Sky grinned and tapped the dashboard with her wand, making the car invisible. She then pulled a lever and stepped on the gas, making the car rise up into the air. She pressed a green button next to the lever and pressed the pedal as hard as she could. The car roared and sped through the sky.
"Hold on. This thing still has more speed." Sky said, turning a small silver switch and pressing the gas. The car went even faster.
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
Virgil was taken by some surprise when the car took right off, going faster than he thought of such an old car. He looked out the window, as the ground below was really far down. Virgil reached back onto the backseat, and pulled out a soda from his bag as he asked "You want one?" since he had brought plenty.

Shaking her head, Sky responded, "No, that's okay. If I remember correctly..there's cruise control some--Ah ha! Got it!" She laughed and looked at Virgil. "I brought some snacks and stuff if you're hungry. I used a charm so I could fit a lot of stuff into it."
Virgil popped open his soda, as he took a drink out of it, and looked to Sky. "I'm not really hungry now, but thanks." he said as he took another sip of soda. He looked out his window to the left, as he saw they were passing over a very big lake, surrounded by a cleared opening, with tons of what seemed to be muggles there.
Sky shrugged and leaned back in her seat, closing her eyes. "I love you." She said randomly, her lips curving into a smile.
Virgil looked at Sky as he said "I love you too." with a smile in response to the random question.
She laughed out loud. She liked to be random. To say things to people when they leased expect it. To see how they react.
Stacey had been down at the lake, she had seen the car because she was a witch. She smiled and ran in to the forest. She had learned how to make herself invisible finally, so she did and she pulled out a broom from behind a tree. She took to the sky and started to fly in the direction of the car.
Sky looked out the window. Stacey was outside, flying on her bike. No broom could possibly catch up to where they were from the school that quickly. She rolled down the window. "Um...Forgive me for being rude, BUT WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING US!?" She yelled over the wind.
"Hi to you to Sky." Stacey yelled over the wind. "I`m not following you, I just saw you from the ground, and I saw bored, so I decided to say hi. Hi Virgil." Stacey shouted.
Virgil looked out his window to the side, as he saw Stacey flying near them. He was pretty shocked, as this was strange since they were already so far from the school. "Um.. Hi Stacey." Virgil said simply, not knowing what else to say.
"You do realize that if you're caught, you'll be in detention for like...a month?" Sky asked her, slowing down a bit. "We have notes." She looked at Virgil then back at Stacey.
"Oh, I was down at the lake because my dad was having a party." Stacey said loudly. "And if you get caught, not only will you have detention for a month, the car will be taken away."
"I see you ignored my last statement. We have notes from the Headmaster." She sighed. "You may be going to the lake, but we're going to the beach to get some things finished." Sky said, trying to keep her hair out of her eyes.
Virgil sat back in his seat, as the two girls talked back and forth. He looked at his watch to make sure they were still on schedule, as his eyes opened slightly, and he looked to Sky. "At this rate, were gonna be late." he said, looking at his watch again.
Sky looked at him. "Yeah. We are." She glanced back at Stacey. "We have to go." She put up the window and sped off through a rather large bunch of clouds. Sky sighed. "So..."
Virgil looked ahead, as the clouds started clearing, as he said "How much farther do you think this place is?" said Virgil as he didn't see that much that seemed to fit the description within sight.
"Maybe twenty minutes." Sky responded. She yawned and leaned back again. "What to talk about..." She said.
Virgil sighed as he tried to think of a topic to talk about, but nothing really came to mind. Finally he said "How are your classes going?"
Sky laughed for a few seconds. "I think I'm failing divination.... How about you?"
Virgil laughed for a second. "I think im failing it too. Im just not big on crystal balls." he said.
"Or reading tea leaves..." Sky responded. She looked down out the window. A beach was fairly visible. "I guess we're here early. Hold on." She flipped that one switch and the car slowed down incredibly. She hit the brake and it started to drift downward.
Virgil looked downwards, as the beach looked amazing. The ocean was visible as well, as the car touched the ground, and he grabbed his bag. "So, were are we going now?" he asked.
Sky grabbed her bag and got out of the car, locking it. She looked around, her hand above her eyes in an effort to keep the sun from straining them. There was a sea side shack and a few cheap beach homes around it. "I just need to drop off some paperwork over there." She said, referring to the shack. She started walking that way, slinging her bag over her shoulder.
Virgil looked around at the houses, as he slung his bag over his shoulder, as he said "Alright. I guess I will go with you." as he followed up behind her to the shack.
A very heavyset man, appearing to be in his late forties, appeared at the door before Sky even opened it. "Ah Miss Mason. Come to finalize everything?" Sky nodded nervously and handed him a white envelope. "The check is in there plus my forms." The man went through the envelope then handed her a key from her pocket. "It's yours. Enjoy Miss Mason."
Virgil smiled at the exchange, as he said "Cool. Now lets check out your place. Which one is it?" he asked, as he looked around at all the different beach side houses around.
Sky pointed to a light blue grey beach house, farthest away from where the waves touch the sand. "That one, right over there." She ran over to it and unlocked the door. The house was clean. Empty, but clean.
Virgil walked inside the empty house, as he looked around. The house looked pretty good, and the only thing they had to do was get some furniture. He walked around the house a little bit more, before walking back to Sky, as he said "Looks good." with a smile.
Sky grinned. "It took a lot of money from my inheritance. I have about four thousand left in my bank account until I get a job. But no payments on this." She looked at him. "So..."
Virgil looked around the room they were standing in, before looking back to Sky. "So..." he then said.
When the car sped off, Stacey sighed. She redirected her broom, having lost sight of the car, to her aunt`s house. She lived at the edge of a lake. When she got to her house, she caught sight of the car across the lake. 'Hmm.' She thought to herself. 'Small world.' Instead of going into the house, she took off her shoes and stepped into the lake.
Sky smiled. "To the beach then?" She suggested to him, looking out the window.
Virgil looked out the nearest window, as he saw the golden sand sitting right next to the house. "Sure. A walk on the beach sounds fun." he said as he walked outside.
Sky smiled and walked outside. She sat her bag on the shore, and charmed it so it couldn't be picked up.
Virgil sat his bag next to hers, and performed the same charm, after putting his shoes in his bag, walking barefoot on the sand, as he walked next to Sky.
Sky kicked off her shoes and took a deep breath of the salty air. She walked beside Virgil, silently, because she didn't know what to say.
Virgil looked strait ahead, as the beach seemed as it went on forever. He turned his head and looked at Sky, as he said "This is gonna be a really cool place to stay. I'll definitely have to come visit sometime now." with a grin.
Sky nodded with a grin. "Oh definitely!" She said. She would love it if he visited her.
The water splashed onto Virgil's leg, as he shivered a little from the water being cold, and he wasn't expecting it. Virgil looked to Sky as he laughed, and kicked a little water on her and smiled.
Sky jumped. "Dang! That's cold!" She exclaimed. She ran behind him and tried to push him into the water.
Virgil was knocked off balance, as he reached back, and held on to Sky's arm, but that wasn't enough to keep him up. The two both fell into the water, as Virgil laughed a little bit.
Sky glared at him, her hair soaked from the water splashing her.
"You did not just do that..." She sort of mumbled. Yet she was smirking.
Virgil looked at her, as her hair was dripping back into the water. "Yes I did! What are you gonna do about it?" he said jokingly.
Sky scooped up a handful of sand and pulled the neck of his shirt back, dumping the sand down his chest. "Ha!"
Virgil took his shirt off, as he tried to brush the sand from his back, as he threw his shirt to the ground and said "Its on now." as he picked Sky up, and walked to the water, and dropped her right in.
Stacey sat on the dock and watched Virgil and Sky. She looked at the two intently. Just watching.
Sky yelped. The water was cold despite the weather being warm. She came up to the surface, her black hair hanging wet in her face. She pushed it out of her eyes and laughed.
Virgil laughed at the sight of her all drenched. "That's a nice look for you Sky." he said still laughing a little bit.
Sky laughed even louder. "It's my smexy look." She said to him. "The wet and wild style." She joked.
Virgil's laughter increased as he said "I really think your the only one that can pull it off though." as his grin spread across his face.
"I rule." Sky said giggling. She scooped up a handful of sand, letting it filter out into the water. Finally there was nothing left but a shell. A beautiful pink and orange shell.
"No, I rule more." Virgil said as he looked at the shell sitting in the palm of her hand, as it glistened in the sun from the coating of water sitting on top of it. "Thats kinda cool." he then said.
Flipping it over and over in her hands, Sky was mesmerized by the colors of the shell. It was really pretty. Sky kept digging through the sand, finding more shells similar to it.
Virgil looked across the beach, as tons of similar shells sat upon the top of the sand, and some slightly submerged. Virgil thought for a minute, as he remembered that there was a beach umbrella in his bag that he remembered to bring, so he walked over to his bag, opened it, and pulled a long red and white umbrella out, and stuck it in the ground, as he layed up under it and closed his eyes.
Sky picked up the shells, her hand full of them, and went over to her bag and put them in a pocket. Maybe she could do something with them later. She pulled a sketch pad out of her bag and a pencil, sitting up so she could rest the pad on her knees. She began to sketch Virgil. Him laying under his umbrella.
Virgil sat completely still, as he sat under the sun, with his face shadowed by the umbrella.
Sky smiled as she drew. She wasn't the best artist, but she drew alot anyway. After a few moments of her sketching, she was finally done. She put her notebook back into her bag. "So..you'll visit me this summer then?" She asked hopefully.
Virgil sat upwards, as he opened his eyes, and looked at Sky. "Most definitely. This is really fun." he then said with a grin.
She grinned and laid down next to him. "I'm having a great time. I'm so glad you came."
He layed back down on the sand as he looked to her sitting next to him. "I had a really good time too. This was the first time I've ever been to a beach." he said, as he looked back upwards.
"This is my third." Sky said. "I can't I'm going to be a seventh year. It's frightening!"
"It is kinda exciting. The change and stuff. I wonder if it is any different..." Virgil said, as he started to think.
Sky shrugged. "I don't know." She sat up, putting her knees to her chest, and stared out into the lake, watching the water run onto the shore, then pull back in.
"Well it can't be to bad. It will open up a whole new year of adventure." Virgil said. The sun shifted behind a cloud for a minute, before returning to its brighter state, as Virgil looked to the water, and it looked as if a ship was out there a good distance out.
Sky yawned. "Well...do you want to stay here, go to my empty house," Sky chuckled. "Or head back home?" She asked him with a small smile.
"It doesn't really matter to me, we can do whatever you want." said Virgil as he looked around.
"You pick!" Said Sky, looking at him and grinning.
"How about we stay here for a while then?" Virgil said, since there wasn't anything to do at the house, and he definately didn't want to go back to the school yet.
"Otay kay." Sky said, and walked over to dig a hole in the sand.
Virgil laughed slightly, as he layed back, sitting in the sun, possibly trying to get a tan, as he looked at Sky digging, before closing his eyes again.
"How long do you think we'll be together?" Sky asked, being a bit random. She didn't mean it in a bad way, but was just curious as to what Virgil would say.
Virgil looked over her, at yet another random question. "A long time I hope. I really like you." he said in response.
"You better." Sky said, sticking her tongue out at him. She laughed and laid back in the sand.
Virgil laughed as he stood back up and said "Wanna go back to the house now?"
"Sure." Said Sky. She dusted the sand of herself and got up. "Lead the way 'Honey'." She joked.
Virgil picked up all of his things and placed them into his bag before putting his shoes on. He then walked towards Sky's house.
Sky followed closely next to Virgil, her bag hanging over her shoulder and her hair damp. She looked up. "Well I guess it's good we're going inside. It looks like it's going to rain soon." She could see grey clouds forming in the sky. She opened the door and walked in, throwing her stuff somewhere and sitting on the floor.
They reached the house right in time, as rain started to fall from the Sky. Virgil walked into the middle of the first room, before putting his bag against the wall. He turned around to Sky, as he said "So what you wanna do now, looks like we got a while."
"Whatever you want." She responded with a small smile.
"Well, why don't you tell me a little bit more about yourself?" He said as he couldn't think of anything else to do.
Sky looked at him. "How about you tell me more about yourself." She said, grinning.
Virgil let off a small smile as he said "Well, where do you want me to start?"
"Tell me about...your interests." She said, pulling a blanket out of her bag and wrapping it around her.
"Hrm... I have alot of interests. I like quidditch, soccer, and I occasionally read, if its a good book. You?" he said, as he sat against the wall.
"I like soccer. I read sometimes, draw, and...play music." Sky smiled. "Basketball is pretty fun too. But I play the muggle way." She laughed. Lots of witches and wizards played with magic. They be.w.itc.hed the ball and attacked players with spells.
"Basketball is kinda cool too. I played once with a few muggles, and it was kinda fun." he then said.
"Yeah." Sky agreed, cuddling with the blanket. "It is."
"Anything else you wanna know?" he asked as he sat down with his back to the wall.
Sky shook her head. "Anything you want to know about me?" She asked.
Virgil thought for a minute. "Hrmm.." Virgil said. "Well, what do you do in your spare time?" he asked, as he looked out the window, and the rain started to lighten up.
Sky shrugged. "I just like to sit. Ya know, enjoy the day, watch the clouds. And sing. Even if my voice is like a Yetty." She laughed.
Virgil laughed a little before saying "Your voice can't be to bad."
Sky laughed along with Virgil. "Oh trust me. It is."
Virgil's laughter softened, as he said "Ok, i'll take your word for it. For now atleast."
