Stacey had bought a wolf pup when Mira bought her four. Stacey was now on the roof with the pup she named Deshka. Deshka had red and gray fur and amber eyes. The little pup was walking around, smelling here and there. Stacey watched and laughed when the pup tripped over her own, short legs.
Albus was walking around, the ground, sitting by a tree, having his feet into the lake, and relaxing.
Suddenly, he saw someone on the roof. The face was familiar, but Albus couldn't decide on who it was.
Curious, he started walking towards the castle. His pace was fast, and, as he walked he smiled to everyone he saw. A warm feeling was spreading inside of him. This was going to be a good day.
Stacey saw Albus walking towards her, and she picked up Deshka and waved.
Albus looked up at the person, now noticing it was Stacey. He waved back, and started to run.
When he was at the castle wall, he stopped, then created a whirlwind at his feet, bringing him upwards against the roof fast. After a minute, he landed softly next to Stacey, greeting her " Hello!"
"Hi, this is Deshka." Stacey said, scratching behind Deshka`s ears.
Albus looked at the dog, smiling at it. " It's cute!" He said as he petted it on it's head.
Stacey sat Deshka down back on the roof and watched for a moment while she stumbled along. "So whatcha up to?"
" Well.... Nothing at all. I'm just wandering around doing nothing! You then?" Albus said and smiled.
He sat down, opposite to her.
Stacey sat down ((because if you notice, i said i set the dog down, i didnt sit down.)) a couple feet away from Albus and watched Deshka. "I`ve been trying to train her some things." She said, her eyyes purple because she was thinking hard.
(Crap!)
Albus looked at her, waiting for something to happen.
Stacey looked back to the pup. "Deshka." She called. The little pup reconized her name and came scrambling over. Stacey took out a small, juicy treat and held above the pup`s head. "Sit." She commanded. And Deshka sat. Stacey tossed the treat to her. "Good girl." She looked back at Fudge. "Do you want to try?"
(I'm Albus! :) )
Albus looked at Deshka, and smiled.
((oppss)) "Do you? She really does need to know to take orders from other people." Stacey held out a small treat.
" Well.... Don't think so... Dogs aren't my favourite animal... I've gotten some episodes with them..."
Albus said, and looked grimly down at the floor, remembering the scar on his left shoulder.
A dog had bitten him when he was seven. The dog had been jumping around Albus,
and him being terrified when it barked and all, showed his first sight of magic, levitating the dog into shoulder height, giving it the opportunity to bite him.
"Deshka doesn`t bite, look." Stacey called the pup over and pulled her tail, hard, and put her hand in the dog`s mouth. "See. And it`s not just because I own her. She has never bit anybody, ever." She said reasuringly.
Albus looked at the dog, not sure if he wanted. " Uuhmm... Well... Okay then"
He got up, went over to Deshka, and started to pat her.
He looked away from her eyes, because he knew when you meet a dog for the first time,
if you look into it's eyes, it takes it as a threat. Then, he walked away, and made his strict voice.
" Deshka! Come!" The dog slowly walked over, and Albus got down, petted it, and praised her.
He got up, " Now. Sit!" Deshka sat down, and Albus praised and petted her.
" What a good dressured dog!" Albus said, turning to Stacey, smiling.
Stacey smiled back. "See, I told you." Stacey scratched Deshka behind her ears. "Not all dogs are bad."
Jessie heard people on the roof and decided to see who it was. She got up and stood on the window ledge, waiting as a small whirlwind started up and the ground. She made it grow until it was tall enough for her to step on to. She sat down, concentrating on making it grow larger. It got bigger, slowly. She wasn't very good at elements yet, so it took a long time. She opened her eyes, and she was at roof level. She got off of it quickly, not sure how much longer it would last. She stumbled over to Albus and Stacey and said, *Hey... I'm not good at my elements at all... Albus, could you help me? You're a lot better than I am!*
Stacey picked up the dog and smiled at Jessie. "Hi Jessie."
*Hey Stacey! Hi Deshka!* She said, recognizing the wolf pup. She sat down by them, exhausted.
Stacey smiled and set Deshka down. She didn`t say anything beacuse she knew how Albus felt about Jessie.
Jessie blushed, her telepathy skills had picked up Stacey's thoughts. She wrapped her hair around her shoulder, using it as a shield. It might help disguise her blush of cherry red.
Stacey smiled when she felt Jessie`s embarassment. *Like you couldn`t tell.* She thought to her.
~I didn't say that... I just always ignored it. I assume it's better that we're friends... I've made mistakes before... But it was a rash decision and I shouldn't have...~ Jessie thought, trailing off. She had said too much. She knew Stacey would try and worm it out of her. But that night... the wind in the trees... the stars seemed to shine brighter than ever before...
Jessie busied herself by playing with Deshka. She hoped it would distract both Albus and Stacey. She could still feel her blush hot on her cheeks, and couldn't hide it. Stacey also would probably interrogate her about what she had just said.
*I`ve been down that road once.* She thought. She meant the night she had given Albus a sertain potion that made him tell the truth. She had learned her lesson.
Jessie smiled, knowing what had happened. ~I always hated that potion.... I say, that if someone wants to tell you the truth, then they will.~
*That was a long time ago, I`ve learned so much since then." She thought, her eyes getting distant.
~Let's not dwell in the past. There are some dark times back there. But if you stay in the present, the sun is shining, and we can have a beautiful day.~ Jessie thought to Stacey.
