Stacey ran out of a door from the school. She ran towards the lake, but not in any certain direction. She was mad, her eyes where flaring red. Her hand flew out to her right, sending a heavy steam of fire towards the lake. Stacey sat down at the edge of it to watch the fire felt into the water. *Sigh* She went.
Nate dropped his book immediatly from his lap and went to Staceys side. He sat next to her feeling every emotion that she was putting out. He looked at her, concerned,"Are you alright?"
She glanced at Nate with her burning eyes. "I`m fine." She said in a flat tone.
He could feel the anger in her voice, like a knife slicing his heart. He flinched slightly, and said in a sweet voice, trying not to trigger her anger more,"Are you sure? Ill leave if you want to not be bothered or anything?"
She sighed. "You don`t have to go." She said, trying to make her voice sound less angered. "You can stay, you didn`t do anything." She picked up a rock and melted it in her palm, pouring the molten rock onto the water of the lake.
He looked at her with such intensity that he had to move his head away to get him to think straight. He said with a cracky voice. He coughed trying to shake out of it,"Whats a matter?"
Stacey stared at the molten rock puoring over the surface of the water and slowly cooling as it sank. "Nothing," She sighed, "Just problems at home." She answered. She felt his gaze basically burning a hole in the side of her head. "I can feel it when people stare at me, please don`t."
He jerked his head and instead stared off into the water," Sorry."
Stacey felt tears start to swell in here eyes. "It`s okay." She told him. "How lond have you been a vampier?"
Nate looked down,"I dont really remember...a while back. But um why are you asking me this," he asked conciously.
"Just curious." She lied. She had been trying to change the subject.
Nate slid his hand into Staceys, his twined together. "Now whats really a matter," he asked with a soothing voice as he looked at her.
Stacey didn`t say anything for a moment. She looked down at her hand that Nate was holding. "I just found out my cousin went back to her abusive boyfriend." She told him.
