The moon shone brilliantly up in the sky. It illuminated upon the forest of the school grounds. The grass, the greenhouses, the roof where Seth stood. It made everything so much brighter. So much more...beautiful.
At least that is what he thought. Seth loved nature. He loved how it looked, how it smelled, how it felt. It was all so amazing to him. It made him feel at peace with himself. When he was stressed, these beautiful scenes like that shown below were what took it away. He smiled as a chilling wind blew against his tan cheeks. Blowing his spikey black hair to the side. It was so perfect. Nothing could ruin this scene.
He leaned against the blocks along the edge of the roof, taking in a deep breath of air and slowly exhaling. The cold air burned his throat, but he liked it. He looked at his left wrist where a silver watch was wrapped around it. It was only 8PM. People weren't even getting ready for bed yet. He rubbed his muscular arms fiercely as a cold chill ran through his body. He wore only a black long sleeve and gray sweatpants. He was told it might snow tomorrow so it would be even colder by morning.
Standing up, he stretched his arms, arching his back, then let them flop to his side. He turned to start for the entrance to the door that took him down a large flight of stairs, but instead spotted a figure standing in front of it. The moons' illuminating light didn't reach that part of the roof. The figure was merely a dark shadow standing in front of a door.
A girl took a couple steps into the room. She shook her head, making her light brown hair get out of her eyes. "Hello." She said quietly. "I don`t believe we met, are you new?" She asked a little louder. She shivered in her thin orange hoodie.
"Nor have I met you." A soft voice interrupted from behind them both. Jackie stepped into the moonlight, watching the shimmers on the ground as it bounced off her glassy like skin. She smiled, but did not extend her hand to the boy, for fear her icy touch would startle him.
She merely stuffed her hands further into her pockets. "I apologize if I was interrupting a conversation." She recovered looking at their expressions. "I could go..." She whispered even softer, her voice tinkling like a windchime.

Seth was startled by the two students who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. He swallowed when he realized that they were girls. He had always gotten nervous and anxious around them. He shoved his hands into his pockets swiftly and gazed up at the moon, his dark forest green eyes shining in the light.
"No. I'm afraid we haven't." Seth said. He looked back at Stacey and pulled one hand out of his pocket, entending it toward her. "My name is Landon. But I prefer you call me Seth. Seth Lockhart." He said with a perfect shining smile.
"I've been here since my first year, but perhaps we've just haven't crossed paths until this moment." He suggested quietly, keeping his cool. He turned to the other girl, Jackie. He didn't offer his hand, assuming she wanted her hands to stay in her pockets, so instead he gave her a polite smile. "No. I can't say I have. And no, you didn't interrupt."
Jackie smiled, keeping her mouth closed though, not wanting to show her teeth. She didn't want to scare a boy quite yet, she thought laughing a bit to herself. "Hm.. Where are my manners?" She said with a tiny trace of a laugh. "I'm Jackie, Nice to meet you Seth."
Seth bowed gracefully, deciding that it would replace the handshake. "The pleasure is mine." He said, then returned back to his standing position. He smiled at the two girls, still shy. "Er...have you both been here the whole time?" He asked nervously. It must have looked strange to see a boy staring at the moon while people remained indoors.
Jackie stifled a laugh and curtsied low to the ground, which was quite hard, considering the jeans she was wearing. "Hm.. If you mean, have I been just watching you the whole time?, then no... but if you refer to the fact that I was outside, then yes. I was taking care of a few... er... things." She said grasping for the right words.
Walking into the room, seeing three unknown people. Isabelle walked to see that it was 2 girls and a boy. He seemed to be watching the moon. Walking over to them, she said "Hello, I don't think I know any of you. But you might of heard of me, during the sorting. I'm a first year. I'm Isabelle." walking over to the lake, where the moon reflecting off the water. She grabbed some rocks, and started skipping them across the water.
((*Cough* Were outside not in a room... ;) ))
"I see." Seth said quietly, nodding a little. He crossed his arms and looked at the three girls, studying every detail about them. "I see, Miss Jackie, that you are the more talkative one of this bunch." He said with a humorous smile. He looked from Stacey to Isabelle. "Nice to meet you Isabelle." Seth said, after she spoke. He smiled at her then looked back at Jackie. "Um..what house are you in?" He asked bashfully. It was hard for him to get to know people sometimes. Girls had that effect on him.
"Yes, I am quite vocal." Jackie admitted, looking at the ground, blushing when he called her 'Miss Jackie'. "I'm a Gryffindor, and you?" She replied, looking at him, her blue eyes curious.
Stacey smiled. "I haven`t been here the whole time either." Her eyes sparkled a mischevious purple. "And once you get to know me, you will see that I am also quite the talker." Stacey said. Then, not knowing who the question was directed to, answered the house question. "I`m in Gryffindor." She shifted her weight to her other foot nervously.
((And just to let you know, Stacey likes attention, but she isn`t an attentionholic or anything like that.))
"I'm in Gryffindor, and I'm pround of that!" said Isabelle smiling. Seeing a black kitten running towards her, "Jinx!" yelled Isabelle. Grabbing the kitten.

Jackie looked at Isabelle and raised her eyebrows smiling. She put her hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh. Her laughs were so high pitched, they were embarassing.

Stacey pursed her lips together to hold back a large smile.
"Who did you eat today Stacey" said Bucky in disgust coming out of the greenhouses he was evesdropping.

Watching as the squid in the lake passed by. Isabelle walked over to the big tree beside the lake, and said "Jinx gets into too much trouble." Watching as Jinx started to climb up the tree. Watching as a boy came out of the Greenhouses, she said "Hello, I'm Isabelle and I'm in Gryffindor!"
Jackie frowned. Since when are so many people in the forest at night? "At least I have a reason." She muttered under her breath.
Then she looked up at Seth. "Um, I have to go." She said, rubbing her arms as a wind raised goosebumps. Jackie didn't like crowds very well, and it probabaly wasn't good for her to be around so many people, being how hungry she was.
Isabelle waved good-bye to Jackie, continued watching Jinx, climb the tree. Jinx fell off the tree and into the water. Isabelle gasped, and jumped into the water. Grabbing her kitten, and put her on the bank of the lake. "No Jinx don't do that!" she said, "The water is nice, you guys should try swimming in here." she yelled at the others on shore. Swimming around in the lake, she came out. She changed into a dog and shook her fur dry, and changed back and says "I'm a shapeshifter, a person who can change into anything but invisble." Smiling, she climbed up into the tree.
(hehe, sorry if I kinda forgot to stop. I'm new, I'm used to writing the whole story.)
"Awesome mate do you want to no why Stacey's being so suspicious?" Bucky asked in intrest
Seth looked down at Jackie and smiled a little. "Goodbye." He said quietly. He sat down on the ledge of the roof and took in a deep breath of the cold, brisk air. The wind was blowing on his face like ice. He looked back at Stacey and said "I'm in Ravenclaw." He played with his hands. "I guess I'm the brainiac of this bunch huh?" He smiled.
Jackie smiled and nodded. "I'll be... um... back in a couple minutes." She said shifting her weight from foot to foot. Then she hurried off into the trees impatiently.
"No, you aren't. I am, though my courage over powered my intelligence." said Isabelle smiling, and continued "I already finished reading all the texts that are between 1st year and 5th year, and Bucky i don't know why, maybe its her past thats getting to her." Remembering when she had the same problem.
Grabbing her kitten and petted her. Watching as Jackie ran off to the forest. She meowed "Jinx, go follow her."
"no she's a werewolf she's going to get blood" answered Bucky "that's why I'm a little disgusted"
A sharp tone cut into Bucky's thoughts. ~Shut up Bucky! You know I'm not a werewolf!~ It hissed. If you listened closely you could hear the undertone of Jackie's voice.
~You are don't lie~ Bucky sent back
"Don't worry! Jinx has excellent power of invisibility!" says Isabelle, and gestured for her cat to follow. Watching as her cat ran off into the forest.
"probably going to suck blood" Bucky said " I segest we stay away for a bit" "o wait my invisibility cloak!"
"Yeah, maybe we should but not my cat." says Isabelle
(Jinx is a midnight black kitten.)
"do you want to follow her?' asked Bucky
The angry voice ripped into Bucky's thoughts again, shrill with displeasure. ~Don't be idiots!~ It hissed. ~You know I'm not a werewolf Bucky! Werewolfs don't drink blood!~
Far off in the forest, there was a long growl of some sort of bear, and then another growl, drowning it out. Then the sound choked off and it was eerily silent.

Stacey sat beside Seth. "Ravenclaw, cool." She said nodding. "I have a ton of friends in Ravenclaw." Her eyes sparkled a mischevious green. "I guess you could say I`m smart. But not a brainiac. Some people say I`m perfect at everything." She looked down at her hands where a silver ring was on her right ring finger.

Jackie came running full out back into the clearin, but she wasn't panting or sweaty. If you looked closely, it looked like she had put on a fresh coat of bright red lipstick, and she was wearing different clothes than she was before. She looked at Stacey and laughed. "You see, I am not one of those people." She said, joking around.
"who did you kill today Nate" said Bucky in disgust

Stacey looked up at Jakie. "What people?"
Jackie looked at her smiling like a little kid. "One of the people who say you're good at everything." She said, the grin still on her face. "But you know I'm just kidding." She finished looking at both Seth and Stacey.
Jackie was about to say something else, but stopped mid sentence. "What did you say Bucky?" She growled through her teeth.
"I asked if she (Pointing at Stacie) killed Nate" said Bucky
Stacey`s eyes immediatly flashed red as she turned to face Bucky. "I would never in my right mind kill Nate." She said throught clenched teeth.

"Stacey, would never kill anyone." Jackie hissed through her teeth once more, her eyes were black now with anger. "But who says I won't? You said it yourself, I'm a vampire. It would be as easy as breaking a toothpick." She threatened, now no longer in defense of Stacey, but in dislike of Bucky.

Stacey glared at him, flames came out of her hands. "You tell me." She said through clenched teeth, daring him to answer her question. *I would kill someone.* She thought to Jackie, blocking her mind to Bucky.
"i thought you were a vampire" said Bucky
"No, but she's just as dangerous as one now." Jackie hissed at Bucky, but thought to Stacey. ~Cut the flames, don't start some sort of wild fire.~ Cautioning her, but not expecting her to listen.

Stacey made the fire disappear but her hands glowed red with the fire that itched to burst from her palms. She continued to stare at Bucky with a dangerous look. "You don`t know how dangerous I can be." She said furiuosly to him.
((No, Stacey is not a vampire. But when she is close to a person with a certain power, like reading minds, she too would be able to read minds. So since she is close to Jakie, she could turn into a vampire at free will.))

Before Bucky could find out he froze time and ran away when he reached the commonroom he started time again.

Jackie suddenly realized how close she was to snapping and straightened herself erect holding her hands behind her back, restraining herself. She turned to Seth, her eyes apologetic. "Sorry, you didn't need to see that, I have a temper problem." She said, a tone of agression still beneath her somewhat calm expression.
((Whatever power the people around her have.))
Stacey stood angrily when Bucky froze time. She started it again before he got to far away. She looked at Jakie. "The friggin` wimp." She said. She turned towards Seth. "Oh, I`m so sorry, you probably think I`m some kind of freak." She apologized, sitting back down, but a little farther away from him.

Jackie looked up and smiled. "Sure." She said, heading for the door, even though she wasn't really cold.
Bucky read the mind of Jackie and now was looking for a great place to hide.
Seth opened the door and held out his arm, gesturing for her to enter before him. "Ladies first." He insisted with a small smile.
Jackie laughed at the thought as she stepped into the room. Her a lady? Well, she was a girl, but not lady. SHe had never heard her name and lady-like in the same sentence, unless there was an : "is not" in between.
"Thank you." She managed to say between her bits of light laughter.
"0 crudge time to frezze time again"Said Bucky and that's what he did then he dacksed them all and hid in an empty classroom and started time again *The're going to be so embaressed* Bucky thought laughthing but not to loud he wouldn't want to get caught.

Isabelle noticed when Bucky freezed time, she wasn't frozen because she immune to being frozen in time, and he started dacksed everyone, but before he could do it to her. She ran towards the forest then ran towards the castle. Following Bucky into this classroom. "What are you doing in here?"

"How thr heck did you find me?" Bucky asked
"When you were freezing time, I followed you when you were running away!" says Isabelle, "Jackie and Stacey are gonna be mad at you and this isn't a good hiding place. I would hide in a broom closet!" scolded Isabelle.

Stacey stood and smiled at Seth. "I`m sorry, but I have an annoying problem I really need to solve, I`ll catch you when I`m done." She said sweetly. She transported to where Bucky and Isabelle were. She stormed at Bucky, ignoring Isabelle. "You really don`t f*cking know a thing about magic. You really need to freaking slow down and smell the coffe. Your powers aren`t that amazing compared to some of the other people here. And you need to listen before you say anything." She said, her eyes flaring a deadly red.

Just than Issabelle left she did not want to get hurt so it was just Stacie and Him so he freezed time and farted in her face then teleported to Hogsmeade and started time again.

Noticing that time stopped again, Isabelle ran into the room and saw Bucky teleporting, and farting in Stacey's face. "BUCKY!!!!!!" Isabelle yelled, when time started again.
Bucky saw what happened by reading Issabeles mind and laughed while entering the three broomsticks.
Jackie frowned as she pulled her pants back up, her face red, not from embarassment, but from anger. She hissed under her breath, mumbling a string of profanities, too low for any human to hear. She located Bucky's mind, through her thoughts. ~Bucky. I'm going to kill you. Literally. Don't come into the same room as me for the next week.~
