Amusement parks were supposed to be fun, not where an insane killer lures you to your death in a house of mirrors... Jackie looked behind her, she was running, dodging, the darkness was closing in, muffling her every movement. She turned and backed into a wall as a mirror shattered to her left, and she let out a high pitched scream of pure terror, trying to see into the darkness.
"What do you want!?" She screamed, hot tears beginning to stream down her face. A malicious laughter echoed in the room and she began running again, blindly, only to stop in the middle of the room; her dead legs unable to carry her on.
She crumpled to the floor and clutched her head in her hands. "Go away!" She yelled, sobbing now. "What do you want?!"
He appeared in front of her and took her neck, lifting her off the ground. "The locket." He growled, dropping her and letting her crumple into a useless pile again, as he towered over her.
She lay on the ground, gasping for air, but was able to look at him, fury blazing in her crystal eyes, the tears still streaming. "No." She whispered, the hate marred by the choking sensation of her ragged breathing and sobbing.
He chuckled and stepped down on her arm, then a sickening snap reverberated across the room. He watched her writhe and scream in pain, enjoying every minute... The monster. Then he took her chin in his hand and turned her face to his. "Where is it?" He hissed.
She stared back, fire burning in her eyes. "Never." She spat in his face. Then she turned and bit his hand, her steel like vampire teeth, cutting in easily. He howled in pain, giving her enough time to escape. She never felt so fats; she flew over the floor and out the door. She didn't stop until she reached Hogwart grounds. She ran until she couldn't;t move, then she slumped against the side of the building, and sobbed.
She cried for a good five minutes before the searing pain in her arm hit her, but when in did, a scream of agony, escaped her lips. She sat cradling her arm, the pain racking her body for what seemed like hours, until she was able to focus and pull a small locket on a chain from her pants pocket.
She froze when she saw a shadow around the corner and shrank against the wall, face somewhat contorted in a mixture of fear, pain, and wonder of who it might be... Although she only longed for one pair of comforting arms now... She smiled as his image flooded her mind. Forest green eyes and a comforting smile, and she could imagine he was there, but was it him around the corner?
((Leaves you with questions doesn't it? I don't know why I wrote it, it just spouted from my head. Some questions... And opinions please? Oh, and should I make the rest of this into an RP also because there is much more to this story? PLEASE ANSWER?))
Awesome, but if you make it into an RP maybey from the Amusement Park doesn't bother me either way.
Oh my gee Mira! I feel like it had a few of the same ideas as Twilight, but it was really good!!!!
I know, but the mirror thing popped into my head, and once I read it over, I was like wow it is a little Twilight repetative, but the intention was never in my brain when I wrote it.
Like I said, it just spouted from my head. And thanks!
That's cool, well I know it happens to me all the time, and then before I post it I'm like, "Wow... now I need to change it." then it never turns out that good so I delete it.... yup story of my life right there.
I liked it. I want you to write more to it beacause I really hate it when stories end with questions.
Ok, I might have to write more just for Stacey's sake. But I want to know what you guys think. Who will it be around the corner? If you need options I'll give you some I'm deciding on.
Please write soon
Jessie or Leah (Definite options)
Seth (Your heart throb)
Nate (possible heart throb)
Stacey (BFF other then me of course)
Pete (No real reason, but he is a vampire)
NOT BUCKY
Okay, I`m glad that you`re thinking about writing more. =]
Jackie waited and was shocked as her imagination was interrupted by a new face. It took over the place in her mind where she often found herself thinking of Seth. She felt herself sinking into a lulled calm sensation as she let herself see the new image. Dark shaggy hair, brown, almost black eyes.
She came to the surface of her dream like state to see the figure rounding the corner. It's eyes gleamed with malice and she screamed, not believing it was him. The one she feared most, how did he find her? She screamed out every name that came to mind "HELP! Seth! Nate! Jessie! Stacey! Ginny! SOMEONE!"
She got up and tried to run, but something heavy hit her head and she collapsed, crumpling to the ground, landing on her arm. She let out a cry of terror once more, before she sank into unconsciousness. While she slept, she dreamed.
She was running, only from happiness now. The voice in the woods calling to her, his tones, like honey to her. She hurried toward it, to the clearing in which it awaited.
As she entered the clearing she saw him, but stopped. This was not who she expected. Those weren't the pair of green eyes she'd been searching for. The face was familiar, just not expected, brown eyes again and the dark shaggy hair.
He smiled, and she seemed not to care anymore. She forgot that he was the wrong person, and rushed to him anyway, being caught in his embrace. She buried her face in his shoulder and willed this not to go away. Breathing in his scent, and holding him here, never to see the evil monster again. He kissed her forehead and she sighed, but it was ending.
She was dragged back to the surface again and awoke, lying on the cold hard floor of a cell. Barred in. No escape. Not even for her.
She closed her eyes, desperately trying to recall the dream, the scents, but it wouldn't come. It wouldn't appear. She was stuck here forever.
wow that was really intense..i have to say you should right more! it was really good and im still dying to know who the person was..haha d**nit :'(

I have no idea how to get out, i don't even know if I will. And as for the person... Try and figure it out! Muahaha!

(You say you'll figure it out but you won't... I;m actually surprised no ones guesssed it yet..)
A sliver of light penetrated one of the gaps in the titanium bars that sealed a window, giving her a view into the hall. She got up, feeling something heavy weigh down her arm. She looked over at it and it was a crude black cast, restricting movement in her left arm.
She inched over to the door and peered out onto the now dimly lit hall. She saw other cells, six exactly, all lined up in a gloomy fashion. This place wasn't a dungeon, it was a cemetery. She thought to herself, surveying the rest of the cell for escapes.
One solitary window that had a soiled towel hanging over it. Dingy and dirty with cobwebs, she pushed it aside and stood on her tiptoes to peer through. Air! Green forests! She almost screamed with happiness, but turned and pressed her back against the wall as a noise at the door startled her back to where she really was.
A pounding and rattling announced the arrival of a visitor. He was ugly, extremely so, the kind that made you want to hide and close your eyes. Jackie was stuck where she was though. He grinned and clapped his hands together, making her jump and ball her good hand into a fist.
He paced over and looked down at her. He was so huge and full of muscle, that compared to a girl like Jackie, who was only 5'2" and very skinny almost made you want to laugh. He grinned again showing his rancid teeth, "Now, what're you in here for?" He said, still grinning menacingly. "The boss really wanted to see you. I got orders to search you and make sure you don't have any weapons."
Jackie narrowed her eyes and made them slits; a growl escaped her throat that sounded like a wildcat. She knew she could beat this guy to the ground easily, but she saw a gun in his pocket. She couldn't risk getting shot in the leg, but was seriously considering it as he rambled on. "What's yer name?" He asked.
Her mind flew through possibilities. "Dawn." She finally said, remembering her middle name. He smiled, "Nice name kid." The man said, his hands reaching out toward her pants pocket. "But I still gotta make sure you don't got any weapons."
(haha oooh i think you should write more!))
Hehe don't worry, I gots more, i actually have half written, but... people have to reply first!
I`m replying!!!!
hehe, my eager fans... ;) ok tomorrow
haha yesss u do that
You said that two day's ago, so technically tomorrow was yesterday, so you're late!!!!!!!!!
The man's eyes sparkled, anticipating as he continued to reach for her pockets. She hissed in warning, but he paid no heed; he just ignored her.
She knew she had to do something. One chance, to see the longed for face in her dreams, but this time for real. An idea flashed into her head, and she immediately put it into action. She wound up and rammed her knee into him as hard as she could, and when he doubled over pressed down into a pressure point at the base of his skull, hard. He crumpled to the ground and she figured she had twenty minutes.
She grabbed his gun, stuffed it into the waist of her jeans and hurried out of the open door, breaking for the exit. Her feet flew with blinding speed, but she didn't see the small tripwire laid out ahead of her. It was thin, but did its job. She fell and rolled over on her arm, screaming in the searing agony that suddenly hit her, along with a realization.... It was never going to end was it? Not until she was dead.
The pair of dark eyes loomed over again. The killer, as she had now named him. It seemed appropriate, he had after all, killed her father. Thinking of it she cringed on the floor she now seemed cemented to. Vaguely she remembered the gun she had. She pulled it out and fired toward the eyes.
She heard a scream of pain and smiled in satisfaction. Then the darkness overwhelmed her. Unconsciousness once again settled.
As she drifted, she dreamed. It began where she had left off; with cool lips on her forehead, surrounded by woods and the sweet scent over coming her again. She sighed with happiness, something she thought impossible now. She looked up at the figure, tall, and handsome; her picture of good in the world.
Her head rested against his chest and one of his hands smoothed down her hair. She pressed her lips gently to his collarbone and relaxed, living for now and forgetting the past. It melted away again when she was in his arms. But soon, too soon, the dream began to end.
Her face became a mask of fear and she decided she had to do one more thing before she entered the real world again. She reached forward leaning in, desperately trying to hold onto him, and their lips met for a sweet, sweet moment before Jackie lost it and dropped back into reality.
(Hey, see if you can guess the guy now!!! Stacey might get it... hehe...)

She came to with her good hand tied to a chair with what seemed like steel bindings cutting into her wrist. She winced as she tried to move her hand and they cut in further. As she got to stand up, she realized her feet were tied too. Jackie sat down, shoulders slumped and head hanging in defeat. He had too many ways to get her. Too many possible ways to find her, but no way to kill her.
She closed her eyes and felt a small lump in her pocket, good, it was still on her. That fool hadn't thought to check her. She bet he was probably still searching her father's house for it. Her mouth twisted into a grim smile as the thought that they would never find it dawned on her. She hoped it would be true.
The door rattled and flew open with a bang. Jackie instinctively jumped, sending a sharp pain through her bound arm. She immediately relaxed her arm causing the minimal amount of pain possible. Then forcing herself to look up, she met his eyes, evil, malignant and piercing. She cringed in her seat.
He strode into the room and laughed. "Good evening miss, Dawn." He crowed, triumphantly. "And how are you today?" He asked happily, taking her chin and turning her face up to his.
Jackie scowled and snapped at his face, her teeth grazing the tip of his nose. He jumped back and slapped her hard, sending her face to the side. She groaned slightly at the red mark on her face, but showed no sign of pain. She would never give him the satisfaction he craved.
He smiled and looked at her again, almost pleasant. "Now, where is the locket?" He asked, but Jackie just looked at him. "You wish you knew." She hissed angrily, glaring again, but a bleep on a warlike walkie talkie from his pocket interrupted them.
He lifted it to his ear and listened as someone hollered something from the other end. He frowned as he slid it back to his pocket. "I'll be right back." He said, pacing out of the room.
She waited until he was gone and then began fidgeting her feet. She struggled and twisted until one was free, and then the other. She backed up and ran at a small pipe on the wall, turning so it hit her binding at just the right angle. The metal cut into her skin again as it fell off. She made no sound, but just bit her lip and doubled over on the floor holding her wrist.
After she collected her wits she quietly looked around. Window? No to loud... Door? No... guards were there... Then she saw the vent, she was definitely small enough, so she hurried over and ripped off the cover easily. She clambered in and ripped off the wretched cast, flexing her arm that was now almost healed. She was glad about this side affect of being a vampire, but none of the others.
A minute later, she was a good 20 feet down the vent when she heard angry screaming from the other room. She hurried and took a turn so they wouldn't know which way she went. Then she frantically scrambled on into darkness.
(Hehe, here you are my eager fans!!!)
EEP!!! I love it! Please write more!!
heh heh thanks im gunna wait for two more replies, so tell people about it so they reply!
I`M REPLYING!
Get some other people to treply then to!

ok since your begging..
It was moist and she had no idea how long she had been hiding. There was nothing but dark, and she didn't have a watch or light. She slowly crawled on, her hands becoming the tiniest bit sore. She stopped for a moment, bending them back and forth to make sure she could still use them. Then she pressed onward, looking for an escape.
Only minutes later she almost hit her head as she jumped in the vent. A breeze of fresh air had wafted through the vent to her nose. Jackie scrambled quickly to the sound, taking no more time to be careful, but such was a mistake because the next thing she knew, about a centimeter behind her, a bullet broke through the bottom of the vent, creating an ear shattering bang.
She frantically made her way to tiny beam of light now shining through the end, as more bullets pronounced their path behind her. She reached the vent opening and wrenched it off easily, tumbling town to the ground outside. She had no idea where she was and didn't care. She just hit the ground and ran.
She landed out on the ground perfectly and bolted toward tree cover. Once safely on the forest she swung to the tree tops and made her way over branches, leaving no trace on the ground of her presence. Soon her trees came to an end, but that didn't stop her running.
She ended up finally by a small stream cutting through a flat grassy area she found herself in. The stream babbled and brought back her memories of home. Her mind became pleasantly lethargic and she sank into a dreamlike state, although she was never asleep. She drifted back to a week ago...
"NO! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" She screamed at him.
"What?" Her father had asked, hurt and confusion clouding his eyes. He turned to look at her. "Why?"
"Hmm... I wonder... Because I've been living all my life a lie!?" She had shouted back, tears clouding her vision.
That had been the day she found out she was vampire. Then her relationship with her father crumbled, until she found the letter. His death letter. She had collapsed on the river bank hopelessly sobbing and Seth had come to piece her back together, but he was her friend, not the one who held her heart.
He thoughts strayed to a few days ago when she found the one she loved lying crumpled and broken, as she was just days ago. She did the best she could to help him, but she could never tell if it would be enough. All she could do was be a friend now... Then the day she had to say goodbye. She couldn't come to tell anyone herself, that she had to leave because she didn't want to endanger anyone at Hogwarts.
She had written a note. A note that she hoped someone had found because it explained everything. It replayed in her head:
Dear... Everyone,
I hate to leave, but there has been an emergency that needs my attention. It is of the utmost importance and I'm afraid if I hadn't left, it would involve all of you too. I may not return and if I don't within the next month, it is likely I am dead.
Come and find me then. Find me some how. There will be a locket in my right front pocket along with a note. The note gives instructions and another important matter I did not have time to discuss before I left.
My sincerest apologies,
Jackie
It was simple instructions and Jackie knew they would protect her locket with their life. It contained her family's prized possession. A tiny jewel. It may not look like much, but in the wrong hands it could be used for terrible things. She could feel herself drifting back to focus, the lethargy subsiding.
A twig cracked in the forest and she jumped up backing against a tree and assuming a defensive crouch. She bared her fangs and hissed in warning. The figure moved from the forest. She saw him and gasped.
Oh! I love it! I bet Seth is gonna pop out of the woods and be all like, "KISS ME YOU FOOL!"
you should write more! its really good and it keeps on wanting me to read more so you should really write more haha

MEH! Well that's what you SHOULD have done!!!!!!!!
LOVE IT!
She couldn't believe her eyes. Then she fell to the ground with a thump and fainted in shock.
She awoke with her head in someone's lap, hands running over her hair. She gazed up meeting his eyes and her mouth dropped open with a pop, finally seeing his perfect features again. "Now don't you faint on me again." He teased, laughing the tiniest bit. "But before you do anything, here." He said, holding out a brush. "You might want to quick wash up."
Jackie blushed, remembering her appearance. She hurried to the river and splashed her face with water, tugging the brush through her hair. Then she washed her hands and arms, before running back and sitting pretty much on his lap.
She smiled faintly and took his hand, holding it tight, wanting him to never go away. He bent over and softly kissed her forehead. She closed her eyes and smiled again. "Wait... How... No why did you find me?" She asked, suddenly coming to a recall this wasn't a dream.
He frowned and his brow puckered as he looked hurt. "Did you want me to not come?" He asked.
"No! Stay!" She said, almost shouting it. "I didn't mean that... But did you find my note?" She asked precariously. He nodded. "I did. But I wasn't going to let you come out here alone."
She shook her head. "You should have." She replied, sorrow filling her tone.
He half smiled, "I am curious as to what is in your pocket though. May I?" He asked arching a perfect eyebrow.
She shook her head. "Now is not the time, but I do have a question for you." She said. "Have you ever wanted to do just one thing, really badly?" She asked.
He blinked in surprise at the subject change. "Um... I suppose so, have you?" He said, smiling when she nodded. "May I ask what that is?" He asked again. He frowned when she shook her head. "How about I show you?" She suggested smiling. "Close your eyes." She said playfully, waiting until he closed them.
Then Jackie leaned in and pressed her lips to his softly, an almost electric feeling shooting through her body. Her arms wrapped around his neck and she kissed him again. She pulled away smiling as his eyes popped open. "Wow." He mouthed. She smiled and a high pealing laugh escaped her lips.
He pulled her against his chest and held her tightly. "That is what you've always wanted to do?" He asked raising his eyebrows.
She nodded, still smiling like a little girl. She leaned in again, but jumped up when noises like shouting erupted further back in the forest. "Oh no." She gasped jumping to her feet. "They're coming." She mouthed, her eyes going wide with terror. Tears began to slink down her face. Tears of anger and fear, anger because she had dragged the only person she knew she couldn't live without into this.
"No! No! NO!" She shouted. Then she turned to him still somewhat crying. The only thing on her mind now was getting him out of here alive.
She took his hand. "Go! You have to go now! Meet up with me later! I can't put you in danger!" She shouted, sobbing now. He shook his head, pain showing in his eyes. "I can't leave you..." But Jackie turned his body and pushed him in the opposite direction, not giving him much of a chance to fight back. "No please go!" She pleaded, begging.
His eyes closed. "No... I won't, can't leave you here." He said, his voice soft and low. Jackie looked around frantically, she couldn't make him trapped too. Her mind came to a decision that took a second or so to put into action. "No, go! Leave! I don't want you here! Go away! Just go away! I don't love you! I never will!" She yelled, trying to put truh behind her words.
"I will never love you! I love... Seth! Can't you see that?! You're making this so hard! Pleas, just go!" She shouted, sobbing hysterically now. The words, though untrue in so many ways, did their job and his face showed disbelief.
The air could be cut with a knife, the tension was so thick. "I-if that's what you want..." He finally stuttered, pain cracking his voice somewhat in the middle. "Yes, now go away! I never want to see you again!" She shouted, watching him. Then he turned and ran into the forest without another word.
(Heres a long one! So um... don't expect a ton soon. If you can't tell I was sort of mad when I wrote the last part... My stories change with my mood!)
Poor Seth, LOVE IT STILL
sometimes i swear you guys are idiots... its not seth. :P lol

Saying that she loves Seth is obviously hurting the person she's talking to; thus, that person is not seth...
Oops, my bad. Tehe. Poor Nate. ((Who else could it be?!?!))
Hehe you will never know who it is! Until like the ending paragraph of the story,
So if it's not Nate... who is it? I love it! More please!
keep going and never stop typing! i want to read the last paragraph :P
As soon as he was gone she sank to the ground. Let them have me. She thought. What's the point in defying them anymore? I've already completely destroyed my life. She kept thinking, tears streaming down her face. Then a pair of hands closed over her eyes and something covered her mouth, but she put up no fight. Her will was broken along with her heart, and the two were one and the same; thus, a being could not exist without either.
A few hours of trudging through the very woods from which she came, and she found herself back in a cell. Right where she had started. The hopelessness found her at once as she curled up on the lifeless floor. Then she remembered she hadn't eaten in days, but she didn't care. She would rather starve to death than live without him.
She sat on the floor wishing away the hours, unable to sleep. Her eyes drooped and she stared at the wall. She wished she had some water to wash up in, and the thirst was burning like an inferno in her throat, but she did nothing to quench it. She heard the occasional bustling of people in the hallway, but only a few stop at her door. They always just poke their head in to see if she's still alive. Every now and then they threw in a package of blood.
It was the kind you got at blood drives, all packaged, but Jackie pushed them to a corner of the room and ignored them, willing herself into nonexistence. One day the head didn't stop at the door, it came all the way in. It was the killer again.
He stopped and looked at Jackie in surprise. "Hmm... Miss, Dawn?" He asked, using her fake name. Jackie sighed, deciding that if she was giving up, she may as well do it thoroughly. "No... Its Jackie, my name is Jackie." She said, looking at the floor.
The man took her chin and turned it toward him. "Well, then... If we're being formal now, my name is Onde. Strange, isn't it? It is supposed to mean evil in another language. Fitting isn't it?" He asked, expecting a snappy response, but Jackie just shrugged her shoulders and let her chin fall from his hand.
"Quite timid are we?" He asked. "Maybe if I brought a certain person into this it would change your view on the subject?" He sneered evilly, snapping his fingers. A small video player was pushed into the room by unseen hands and he pushed the play button.
Jackie looked up to see another room like hers, but it was empty. Or at least it was until a figure paced onto the screen. The figure looked like the person she just met in the forest.... She jumped up and screamed. "NO!" Then she was across the cage, as fast as she could, anger lending to her adrenaline.
"LET HIM OUT! He didn't do anything!" She screamed, grabbing Onde's throat and pinning him against the wall. "Let. Him. Out." She hissed in his ear before letting him drop to the floor.
Onde got up smiling. "Now, don't do anything mean or your little boyfriend might get hurt." He warned, shaking a long spindly finger. Jackie's eyes went wide. "No." She whispered. "No!" She screamed, punching Onde as hard as she could, but Onde just smiled and pressed a tiny button on a control he pulled from his pocket.
The TV screen went fuzzy and a yell of pain was heard from the other room. "Stop!" She said, dropping to the floor. "Please." She pleaded hysterically as the yells continued. "I'll do whatever you want..." She surrendered, and just as she did the yelling stopped. She saw him through the TV lying on the floor of the cell.
She sobbed and held her head in her hands. "My fault, my fault." She babbled into her hands. Her face was pained and drawn as she babbled on. Onde stood above her, he knew he had won. He knew it. Even if she didn't know that was all just a recording. That wasn't really him. He was off in some godforsaken forest somewhere for all Onde cared, but all that mattered was that Jackie thought he was here.
((gosh! happy?))
No, you didn`t say who he was. So keep writing!
I agree with Stacey, you still need to type more cause this is beginning to get really intriging(or however you spell that complicated word.)
Jackie was curled up on the floor still after Onde left. She had sunk back into her state of lifelessness. Everything, every lie she had told and he still came... It was horrible. She didn't look up when the door opened next, of course it was Onde again. "Well, I think you know what I want." He announced in a loud voice.
She nodded. "My Locket." She replied not showing any emotion. "It's at the lake my father and I went to all the time, um... Dodge Lake." She replied, lying smoothly. She wanted to die now, but her father's secret was never to be revealed.
Onde continued like this for the next few days, getting the same reply, so a few days later, Jackie didn't even raise her head when the door swung open. It wasn't until strong arms picked her off the ground that she looked up. "W-" She started, but he stopped her. "Shush..." He whispered, pressing a finger to her lips, but she just lowered her voice. "You came for me?" She asked, but stopped when he didn't respond she jumped from his arms. "I can go on foot from here, I can go. Just lead the way."
He nodded and sped off through the passages. "No guards?" Jackie asked in disbelief. He smiled, "I took 'em out on the way here." He whispered grimly as they continued dodging through the hallways. It wasn't after another minute of running until he spoke again. Now they were out of the building and it was fading and they hurried on side by side.
Finally after it became dark Jackie finally turned to him, taking his hand and stopping. "Now tell me, why did you come back?" She asked gently, scared of his answer. He closed his eyes and pain drew across his features. "You said all that back in the forest, but I couldn't believe it. I wandered for a while thinking, and ended up coming to the conclusion that even if you didn't love me that I would save you because no matter what you say I will always love you."
Jackie buried her head in his chest. "You know what I said before that. About what I'd always wanted to do? That was true. The rest was the lie. Can't you see that? I had to hurt you to save you." She said, her eyes pleading and her arms wrapped around his waist.
He took her face and tilted it towards him, looking into her eyes. "Really?" He asked. Jackie nodded her head. "Yes, Nate. I love you." She said, and the next minute she was kissing him. She didn't know how or when she decided to, but the next thing she knew, she was on the ground laughing with him. The last thing she remembered, was her foot hitting a root and falling.
She smiled. "Sorry." Whispered Jackie, laying her head on his chest. "I'm usually not that clumsy."
Nate smiled and patted her hair. "Its ok, don't we all have imperfections?" He asked smiling.
She shook her head. "You're perfect. I don't deserve you."
He smiled. "I beg to differ. I think it's the opposite way around, but one quick question. When will they stop chasing you?"
Jackie closed her eyes and looked at the trees. She turned and pressed her lips gently to his collar bone before looking into his eyes. "That's the problem Nate. They won't ever stop. Not until they have the locket and me, and everyone who knows about it is dead..."
