Stacey rolled her eyes to herself as she walked out of the doors of the school. It was bright and chilly outside; the cool wind blew her hair around her face. She freed one arms from her load of supplies to tuck it behind her ear.
Aiden walked outside. The cool breeze blew around him, blowing his dark black hair in front of his eyes. Aiden lifted the hood on his black and white striped jacket so it covered a good amount of his face. He then looked around and saw Stacey walking, by herself. Aiden walked over to her and greeted her. "Hey." He said with a smile.
Stacey turned around to see Aiden. "Hey." She greeted as the wind blew hair into her face. She shifted her books to one arm and took a few steps closer to him so she wouldn`t have to talk so loudly against the wind.
Aiden glanced down at her books. "Going to class?" He guessed as Stacey stepped closer to him.
Stacey shook her head. "No, I had some homework and wanted to be outside. I was headed to the clearing." She said, meaning the fireproof clearing that always seemed more peaceful than the rest of the forest.
Aiden nodded, thinking of the clearing that Stacey had shown him before. "Did you need some help?" He asked her. Aiden scraped his heel over the ground as he had his hands in the pockets of his jacket.
Stacey thoguth for a moment then she shifted her books again and took Aiden`s arm. She pulled him towards the trees. Once they were out of the wind, she spoke. "It`s to loud out there." She complained.
Aiden smiled lightly as he walked out of the open with Stacey tugging his arm. "Is that a yes?" He asked playfully.
Stacey tilted her head to look at him. "Mabey." She said in the same tone. She let go of his arm but looped her arm through his, holding her books in one arm. She walked towards the clearing.
Aiden raised an eyebrow and obediantly followed her towards the clearing.
Stacey sat down with her back against a tree and set her books down. She let go of Aidens arm and looked at him. "Are you sure you want to help?"
Aiden shook his head quickly. "Nah. I don't mind. I'll try not to make you fail. What do you need help with?" He asked. He sat beside Stacey and layed his elbows on his knees.
Stacey smiled and took out a sketch book and graphite 2B pencil. "I need you to pose." She said playfully. She drew a quick circle and cross.
Aiden raised his eyebrow again. "Pose?" He questioned before standing up. "How so?" He asked, slight doubt in his voice.
Staacey shrugged as she looked up at him. "Doesn`t really matter, you could sleep for all it matters. The teacher just said I needed a new subject." She explained.
Aiden walked out in front of her and sat down. He had his elbows on his knees and the slow breeze ruffled his darn black hair. He stood there. "Is this good? I'm not a very good poser."
Stacey smiled. "Perfect." She mused as she looked down at her paper. She drew a quick outline of him, then she glanced back up at Aiden under her lashes.
Aiden kept completely still and quiet. The slow breeze continued to blow around them, shaking the leaves and ruffling his hair across his face. Still, he kept unmoving, and quiet so that Stacey could finish her work.
Stacey looked back to her work and about five minutes later she stopped and held it up for him to look at. "It`s just a sketch so far, but how do you like it?" She asked. She had drawn Most of the scene except for the little details. A few leaves were drawn and you could tell Aiden`s hair was being moved by the wind.
Aiden leaned in closer. He was careful not to move his immediate position, unsure if he was supposed to just yet. Aiden squinted his eyes so he could see throw his blowing his hair that covered his eyes. "It's great. Your an excellent artist." He said, complimenting her portrait truthfully.
Stacey shrugged. "It`s not that great." She said softly. "Oh, and you can move now." She added with a smile. She put the book in her lap and looked at her other books.
Aiden moved his legs and stretched. He leaned back and layed in the grass. "Anything else you need help with?"
Stacey tilted her head. "Nah, I`ll do it later. What do you want to do?" She asked, thinking that a run through the trees as a snow leopard would be nice.
Aiden ran his hand through the grass and layed it back down under his head, looking at the sky. "I dunno. What do you want to do?"
Stacey sighed. "It really annoys me when wwe don`t have anything to do and you say that." She sadi, half joking.
Aiden lifted his head up and looked at Stacey. "I can't think of anything to do." He said, sort of frowning.
Stacey smiled. "I can." She said mischeviuosly, her eyes glittering bright breen.
Aiden looked up at Stacey expectantly. "Yeah, whats that?" He asked, interested.
Stacey`s smlie got even more mischevious. "Nah, I don`t think you`ll be interested." She teased.
Aiden smiled as well. "Try me." He suggested.
Stacey giggled. "No, I`ll pass on that." She teased. She moved close to his side.
Aiden smiled and looked down at her. "You sure?" He said, his voice getting sweet.
Stacey`s smile and voice were suddenly filled with sickening sweetness. "I`m sure." She said, her voice like honey. She gave a little giggle that was obviously a pain for her to try and sound.
Aiden smiled as she giggled. He put one arm around her. He looked at Stacey expectantly, waiting for her to answer.
Stacey stopped giggling, but her voice stayed the same. "I said I`ll pass on that." She repeated.
Aiden stared into Stacey's eyes. He frowned. "Aw.." He said childishly.
Stacey smirkled childishly. She made her eyes turn lime green. "Aww, poor you." She said sarcastically.
Aiden couldn't help but smile. He ran one hand threw her hair absentmindedly.
Stacey tilted her head slightly. She reatched up and took his hand from her hair and held it gently.
Aiden lifted Stacey's hand and gently kissed it. He then layed it back down and smiled at her sweetly.
Stacey smiled. "What was that for?" She asked, not moving her hand from his.
Aiden continued to smile before saying anything. He looked down at her hand. "No reason." He said suddenly.
Stacey`s smile got bigger. "That`s a really good reason." She said softly.
Aiden lifted his eyes to hers. "Yeah. I guess you make me do things without me even realizing I do them." He said.
Stacey kept her smile and gently kissed Aiden`s cheek. "The same goes for me."
Aiden's smile widened. "I'm glad for that." He said cheerfully.
Stacey laughed. She pushed his shoulder playfully with her free hand. "Silly." She teased.
Aiden quickly grabbed Stacey's wrist. He tickled her side playfully. "I'm silly? Nah..." He said, a smile in his face and sarcasm in his voice.
Stacey shreiked as Aiden tickled her. She pulled away, only letting him hold her wrsit, but not tickle. "Yes, very silly."
He shook his head. "Not silly. Only playful." Aiden corrected. He chuckled and put her wrist down.
Stacey didn`t let her arm fall to her side, instead she pushed Aiden gently. "No, I think silly is the right word."
Aiden grabbed her wrist again. "Nope. You're the silly one." He said. Aiden lifted his arm up as if he was going to tickle her.
Stacey jumped back and raised an eyebrow. "Don`t make me." She threatened, raising her free arm.
Aiden watched her hand. "Don't make you what?" He asked, clearly interested.
Stacey smiled. "You know what." She contiued, bringing her hand closer to his rib cage.
His eyes got wide. "You wouldn't..." Aiden muttered with fake suprise on his face.
"I would," She continued, her hand getting ever closer to his rib cage.
Aiden's lips curved into a mischevious smile. He watched her hand quietly.
"Okay," Stacey teased. Her hand attacked his ribs, tickling him ferociously.
Aiden squirmed quickly. He hadn't realized he was that ticklish. He quickly grabbed her hand as he roared with laughter. "Okay...okay. I give up." Aiden said, out of breath.
Stacey smiled and giggled. "Haha, now you know how it feels." She said smugly.
"It's not as bad as you make it seem. Well, I probably make it worse for you." Aiden said. He stretched his arm over the back of the couch.
Stacey rolled her eyes playfully and leaned against Aiden`s shoulder. She gently put her hand on top of his and entwined their fingers.
((I read New Moon!))
Aiden smiled and squeezed Stacey's hand. He leaned back a little on the couch.
(Nice. You should read Eclipse. Its good)
((I`m getting it next week.))
Stacey smiled and closed her eyes. She leaned over a little to rest her head on Aiden`s chest.
He ran his hand through Stacey's hair. He sat there quietly, listening to Stacey.
(Cool)
Stacey`s smile grew as she felt Aiden`s hand in her hair. She listened to his slow heartbeat, hoping he wouldn`t notice her racing heart.
Aiden looked down at her. "Are you alright? I'm not making you nervous, am I?" He asked quietly. He had noticed Stacey's racing heart compared to his own very slow one.
Stacey gave a small laugh. "I`m perfect." She said softly.
Aiden smiled as she laughed. "Alright. But if I am, just tell me." He said. Aiden moved his hand, incase it bothered her.
Stacey moved her head onto Aiden`s shoulder. "Don`t worry." She whispered.
Aiden moved his head to the side so he could see Stacey better. His heartbeat kept his usualy slow rythmn, which was always slower than the average person.
Stacey tilted her head so she could look at Aiden. "What?" She whispered.
Aiden shook his head slowly. "Nothing, only admiring you." He said with a smile.
Stacey smiled and looked away, hoplessly hiding her blushing.
Stacey's blushing only made him smile more. Aiden grabbed her hand and sqeezed it. Their rings gently touched each other's.
Stacey smiled up at Aiden. She entwined her fingers between his.
Aiden rubbed his thumb over the back of her palm. He looked down at their hands.
Stacey squeezed his fingers gently and stared into the fire.
Aiden looked up at Stacey "Your rather quiet. Watch'a thinking about?" He whispered.
Stacey tilted her head, still rested on Aiden`s shoulder. "Actually, I`m thinking about how fire relates to lightning." She said softly. That wasn`t exactly what she was thinking about, but it was partially true becasue it was an analogy.
Aiden nodded thoughtfully. "Oh okay." He said. Aiden leaned back slightly so they were be more comfortable.
Stacey squeezed his fingers. "I love you." She whispered.
Aiden flashed her a brilliant smile. "I love you too." He whispered back. He quickly pecked her on the lips.
Stacey smiled and tousled Aiden`s hair.
Aiden squeezed Stacey's hand. He continued to smile. His eyes had never changed their color.
Stacey looped her arm around his shoulders and turned her hand in his so their palms pressed together.
Aiden leaned in a little closer to Stacey. He turned his hand so he could hold hers.
Stacey pressed her palm against Aiden`s, squeezing his hand tightly. She closed her eyes softly, lost in happy thought.
Aiden gently used his other hand to stroak her cheek softly. He leaned his head against the side of the couch.
Stacey smiled as she felt Aiden`s hand against her cheek. She drew her hand away from his and ran her fingers against his palm softly.
Aiden smiled, a peaceful smile. He took in a deep breath. He looked into the warm, calm fire.
"Do you ever," Stacey said slowly, opening her eyes. "Do you ever think about the future?" Her words were slow, as if she were half asleep.
Aiden turned his gaze back to hers. "Yeah, alot actually." He answered quietly. Aiden tilted his head. "Why do you ask?"
Stacey shrugged. "I don`t know." She said, her eyes getting distant and unfocused.
Aiden looked at Stacey, confused. "You alright?" He asked.
Stacey smiled. "I`m great." She said. "My mind just runs away from me sometimes." Stacey did, indeed, have a very big imagination.
Aiden smiled again. "Yeah, same here." He said, amusement in his eyes.
"What?" Stacey asked cautiously, seeing the look in Aiden`s eyes.
Aiden shook his head. "Nothing. I just like you being yourself." He answered.
Stacey smiled shyly. "Well, I glad you do." She replied.
Aiden tilited his head. "So, whatcha wanna do?" he asked with a smile.
Stacey looked out the window. The sky was black now. She sighed softly. "As much as I hate it, we should probably go to bed."
Aiden shrugged his shoulders. "True. I hadn't realized it was this late." He said.
Stacey sighed again. She relectuanly pulled away. "Goodnight." She said softly, squeezing his hand.
Aiden quickly leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek. "Goodnight." He whispered.
Stacey smiled and stood uo slowly. "Goodnight." She whispered agains before going upstairs.
Aiden smiled and waved slowly. He didn't feel like going up to his room quite yet.
((Morning?))
(Yup. I guess.)
Aiden woke up to the dim light of the early morning as it escaped through the window of his room. He leaned forward, and stretched as he yawned. He slowly got out of bed. He didn't feel like getting dressed right now so he kept his long, plain black shorts on. Aiden slowly walked down to the common room, not fully awake yet.
Stacey woke as soon as the first rays of light lit the sky. At first she just sat in bed, but then she got up. It was Sunday so there weren`t any classes today. She slowly made her way down the stairs, more than a little bt awake.
Aiden slowly turned his head at the sound of someone coming down the stairs. He was still half asleep, and his hair was all messed up since he woke up. He blinked, trying to clear the sleep from his eyes.
Stacey smiled as she saw Aiden. She sat down beside him on the couch. "I hope you didn`t stay up all night hust waiting for me." she said softly, more awake now.
Aiden smiled. He quickly tried to fix his hair, embarassed at his laziness this morning. "Nah, I didn't stay up too long. Only for about an hour or so. How did you sleep?" He asked, changing the subject to Stacey.
Stacey stuck out her tounge, fully noticing the subject change. "I slept well." She answered anyway.
He laughed. "Well, thats good." Aiden said with a smile. He tried to fix his hair some more.
Stacey pushed Aiden`s hand away from his hair. "Oh stop it." She said. "I know I don`t look good either."
Aiden smiled, and put his hand down. "Are you kidding?" He asked suprised "You look beautiful."
Stacey snorted. "If you say so." She couldn`t help but have a smile on her face.
Aiden smiled He leaned back, and looked at the clock. "So, what do you want to do today?" He asked. "Or, unless you have other plans...?"
"No plans for me." Stacey said happily. "I like to keep an open book." As she said that she poked his shoulder.
"Me either. So, I guess we're both free to do whatever." Aiden said with a laugh.
Stacey smiled. "Free to do whatever... Hmmm." She said thoughtfully.
Aiden watched her think. He wondered if she had a plan.
Stacey snapped back and laughed quietly.
Aiden laughed with her. After a moment he suggested "Want to go into town today?"
Stacey smiled. "I don`t care what we do." She squeezed his hand gently.
Aiden rubbed his thumb gently over the back of Stacey's hand. "Alright. Well, I'll need to get dressed." He said, looking down at his short, and white shirt.
Stacey laughed. "Me too. Meet me back here in half an hour?" She asked, standing up.
"Alright." Aiden agreed. He stood up quickly. "See you then." He said, before starting to go up the stairs.
Stacey smiled and hurried up the stairs.
About twenty-five minutes later, she came down the stairs with jeans and a black tee shirt that read "Identity." She looked around quickly.
Aiden quickly ran down the stairs. He stepped wrong, and tripped. However, he was able to catch himself before actually falling to the ground. He walked slowly down the stairs now. He wondered if Stacey saw him do that. Aiden was wearing a blue band tee, and a black and white striped jacket. He also wore some thrashed jeans, and his vans. "You look nice." He commented.
Stacey turned with a big smile on her face as she saw Aiden. "Not so bad yourself, there." She said, stepping closer to him. "How about some breakfast, then we head out to town?"
Aiden nodded, and smiled. "That sounds good to me." He agreed.
Stacey took his hand. "Well then let`s get going." She started walking towards the door.
Aiden held her hand, and squeezed it. "Alright. Lets go." He said. He followed her out of the door.
Stacey led him down to the Great Hall and sat down at the Gryffindor table. A silver plate appeared in front of her with bacon and eggs covering it.
Aiden looked down at his plate. He hadn't realized until now how hungry he was. He picked up his fork, and took a bite.
Stacey smiled at Aiden as she took a bite of her eggs.
Aiden took another bite. He chewed, and swallowed it. "Where do you want to go in town?" He asked.
Stacey shrugged. "I really don`t mind. As long as I`m with you." She pushed him playfully.
Aiden smiled. "Same here. I guess we can see what they had up there." He replied.
Stacey took another bite, watching Aiden.
Aiden also took another bite. He looked at Stacey. "What?" He asked, wondering if he had something on his face.
Stacey laughed. "Nothing, I can`t admire my fiance?"
Aiden smiled, and chuckled. "Oh" He said with a laugh "I don't mind. Go ahead." He smiled crookedly.
Stacey`s eyes lightened. "Well, if you put it that way, I don`t want to admire you." She teased, looking deliberatly down at her plate.
Aiden looked at Stacey, and pretended to be sad. "Wow, Well if I'm that ugly..." He said.
Staey laughed and wrapped her arm around him in a one-armed hug. "Don`t worry, you aren`t that ugly." She teased.
Aiden smiled. "I hope not." He said playfully. He took another quick bite of his food, and he was finished.
Stacey finished her food quickly. "So, where do you want to go?" She asked, hurning on the stone bench to face him. She absentmindedly twisted her ring around her finger.
Aiden lifted his shoulders. "Well, I figured we could head into town. Maybe look around, and see what they have." He suggested.
"Sounds good to me." Stacey said. She entwined her hand with his and stood up slowly.
Aiden smiled. He held her hand as they walked out of the great hall, and headed out to go into Hogsmead.
When they were about halfway to Hogsmead, Stacey inched closer to Aiden. It was slightly chilly outside. The air was calm, but there was an edge to it, like a starm was coming. The air felt electric.
Aiden looked at Stacey. "Are you cold? I can get you a jacket?" He asked, wondering if the slow chill was too much.
Stacey smiled. "I`m fine." She reassured him. She warmed herself up with her powers. They got cloer to the small town; they could read the sighns now.
Aiden squeezed Stacey's hand. He looked at the signs. "Where do you want to go first?" He asked.
Stacey shrugged. "I don`t care." She looked at all of the signs. "What about..."Her voice trailed off as she read.
Aiden began to walk quietly with their hands still intertwined together. He waited for her to suggest something.
Stacey kept looking at the signs. "Wow, this town doesn`t really have that much to do." She noted quietly.
Aiden nodded in agreement. "We can go somewhere else." He suggested to Stacey.
Stacey stopped walking and took Aiden`s other hand. She closed her eyes and concentrated. A film of fire covered her eyes and they were suddenly in a different town, the film gone.
Aiden looked around confused for a moment, not knowing where they were. "Where are we?" He asked.
Stacey tilted her head. "Duckingham." She answered. "It`s the town closest to Hogsmead and it`s wizard friendly." She let go of one of his hand s and turned to face the town. Duckingham was a lot bigger than Hogsmead.
Aiden looked around at the large town. It was big, and it looked inviting. "How do you find all of these places?" He asked shaking his head with a smile.
Stacey shrugged as she started walking. "Who knows." She said absent-mindedly, looking at the signs. "What about a movie?" She asked, not seeing much here, either.
Aiden nodded briskly. "Sure. That sounds like a good idea." He answered. He hadn't been to a movie in ages, and he was wiling to go. Aiden looked around, and followed the sign to the movie theatre. "What is there to see?"
"Comedy, romance, or action?" She asked, reading the sign attached to the building.
Aiden looked at the sign, and the movies playing. "You pick." He said after a few moments of indecision.
"Aww." Stacey moaned after a second. "Why me? I don`t care what we see." She insisted.
Aiden smiled. He squeezed her hand. "I don't either. I like it when you pick things." He answered as he looked down at her.
Stacey pushed Aiden playfully. "Fine, then I chose the comedy." She said, starting to walk inside.
Aiden smiled even wider. "Sounds good to me." He said as usual. He let go of her hand, but instead put his arm around her shoulder. Aiden walked beside Stacey inside.
Stacey stood at the counter. "Two for *______*" The lady behing the counter smiled and pulled out two tickets. Stacey stuffed a hand in her pocket for money.
Aiden shook his head, and gently squeezed Stacey's shoulder. He dug in his pocket, and took out some money. He gave it to the lady behind the counter, and walked toward their movie with the tickets in his hand. "Here you go." Aiden said as he handed Stacey's ticket to her.
"Thank you, Aiden." Stacey said sweetly as they walked to the movie. She stopped once they entered the dark room. "Where do you want to sit?" She asked. "I picked the movie, I`m not picking this. She could tell by the silent room that they were the only ones there.
Aiden looked around the empty rows of seats. He took Stacey's hand, and lead her to the upper middle hald of the rows of seats. "Is this good?" He asked as he sat down.
She follwed and sat next to him. She looked at the screen, which was starting to play ads. "Perfect." She said, taking his hand.
Aiden looked at the screen as it started. He squeezed Stacey's hand. "Good." He whispered.
Stacey leaned a little closer to Aiden. 'Aren`t you glad I didn`t make you sit through a romance?" She teased with a large smile.
Aiden smiled, and leaned to the right towards her. "Actually yes. I can't really say I'm the type of guy into romances." He whispered to her. He didn't know why he was whispering, because they were the only ones in the room.
Stacey laughed quietly and squeezed his hand. "I kinda figured. Besides, I`m not one to really sit through a mushy-gushy movie unless I feel sad. But then I have you." She pushed his shoulder playfully.
Aiden smiled at her. "Well, that must suck for you." He said teasingly. He manuevered his arm so it was around Stacey's shoulder.
Stacey smiled and rolled her eyes. The lights darkened and the movie started.
Aiden looked at the screen as the movie started. He tilted his head to the side.
Stacey snorted and rolled her eyes as the main actor did something stupid. She looked at Aiden. "Seriously?"
Aiden smiled, and lifted his shoulders as he looked at Stacey. "Well, theres a comedy for you. Dumb, and pathetic." He said still smiling.
Stacey rolled her eyes again, looking back to the screen.
((What now?))
(Lol I don't know. End of movie or what?)
((Sure...))
Stacey sighed as the movie ended. She turned her head towards Aiden as the lights brightened.
Aiden smiled mischeviously. He quickly leaned forward, and pecked her on the lips before leaning back again. "Well, that movie was interesting..." He said with a laugh.
Stacey smiled as Aiden kissed her. "Was it?" She asked dreamily, standing up slowly.
Aiden stood up. "Are you kidding? That had to be the worst movie I've seen in awhile. But it was nice to see one at least." He replied as he began to walk out of the room.
Stacey laughed beside Aiden. "I stopped paying attention to it. We could`ve left if it was that bad." She said.
"Nah thats alright. I actually kind of like it. Maybe because I haven't been to a movie in awhile." Aiden replied. He took Stacey's hand as they walked out of the room.
Stacey smiled as they walked out into the main lobby. "Well, that took an hour and a half, what do you want to do know? And don`t say 'I don`t know' because I`m the one that decided to go to the movie; it`s your turn." Her smile turned wicked as she forced him to decide.
Aiden couldn't help but laugh. He squeezed her hand. "Alright. Alright. I'll decide, but first I want to see what the town has." Aiden answered her. He had a wide grin on his face.
Stacey laughed. "Haha." She mumbled as they got outside.
Aiden walked a few feet to take a look at the signs. "Are you hungry?" He asked as he continued to look.
"We just ate like two hours ago." She reminded him.
Aiden skimmed through the signs. "Well, theres food, food, movies, and food." He looked at another sign. "There is a couple of shops down the road." Aiden pointed out, looking back at Stacey.
Stacey smiled. "We could go look and see what they have." She suggested. 'But you ahve to choose."
"Alright. But I still owe you money. So, I want to buy you something if theres anything good at these shops." Aiden told her with a cheerful smile.
Stacey stuck out her tounge at him, still walking. They got close enough to the shops to see the signs.
Aiden grinned, and scanned through the shops. There were a few common stores you'd find in a town like this. "Where to?" He asked.
Stacey shook her head. "You have to pick, I am not." She refused simply.
Aiden shrugged. "Well, I am getting you something." He pointed out. He put on hand under his chin. "Lets go there." Aiden decided as he pointed to the music store.
Stacey wrinkled her nose again as Aiden took her chin. "You don`t have to buy me anything." She said softly, knowing he wouldn`t listen.
Aiden looked back at her. "I owe you. And besides, it'l make me feel better." He pointed out quietly.
Stacey squeezed his hand as they stepped into the store. Her eyes widened slighty, and she bit her lip, but she kept quiet.
Aiden noticed her expression. "Whats wrong?" He asked before he took another step.
Stacey smiled and looked down at the floor. "Nothin`." She said softly, holding back a smile.
"If you don't want to go in here we don't have to." Aiden pointed out as he turned the other way.
Stacey looked up. "You picked this place so let`s stay." She said.
"Well, if you want to..." Aiden said as he turned back the other way. He began to walk back in.
Stacey followed Aiden, keeping her eyes on the walls. Guitars were hung up precariously, all different colors. Most of them were electric but there were a few acoustic.
Aiden looked at the different guitars. He looked at Stacey. "Mind if I play you something real quick?" He asked.
Stacey shrugged and nodded. "Go right ahead." She pulled a stool over to him in case he prefered to sit.
Aiden took a seat on the chair, and picked up an acoustic guitar. He leaned back a little, and propped one of his feet up on the stool. "This song kind of reminds me of you." He said softly. Aiden cleared his throat, and began playing the opening rift of Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls.
Stacey smiled and listened carefully as he played the song. When he finished she put a hand on his knee. "That sounded wonderfull." She said softly.
Aiden shrugged. "Thanks." He said embarrassed. He put the guitar up, and fixed his shirt. "I'd hoped you like it. Now you lead the way."
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "Well, tooie." She looked around, then smiled. She took his han dand pulled him away. She led him to a short wall that had silver and gold trumpets hung up. She looked at a worker a few dozen yards away and he nodded. She picked it up.
"Sorry, I haven`t played and forever. It`s one of the only things I remember." She put the mouthpiece on and started to play Smoke on the Water.
Aiden found a stool, and sat down. He listened quietly with a smile as he recognized the song.
((=P My brain wasn`t working last night and that was the only song I could remember.))
Stacye finished the siong and set the trumpet back on the table, rubbing her lips. "Yea, sorry, that was the only thing I could think of."
(Hehe its all good. T'is a good song. lol)
Aiden looked at Stacey. "That was great. I didn't know you could play." He said meaning it as a compliment.
(( =] It`s a song we play for marching band, but we play it really badly...))
Stacey smiled and shrugged. "Fourth through eight grade. I traded it in for fencing classes." She said, her old schedule coming to her mind.
Aiden tilted his head to the side. "Thats cool, and you play it nicely. Did you like your school?" He asked quietly.
Stacey shrugged again. "I guess. It wasn`t the best, but not the worst."
"Yeah, mine was the same way. So, anything here you're interested in." Aiden asked as he tilted his head.
Stacey looked around the small music store. "I guess." She shrugged.
Aiden leaned back in the stool. "It's up to you. I'm buying you something." He pointed out.
Stacey gave Aiden a serious look. "You`re not buying me something." She said.
Aiden shrugged. "Why not? I owe you alot." He pointed out.
Stacey took Aiden`s hands, the serious look still dominant in her features. "How about you buy me dinner? I am not going to let you buy me a two-thousand dollar instrument." She said, her voice soft.
"Well, it is your choice." Aiden answered as he shrugged his shoulders. "You pick the place when your ready." He told her with a grin. Aiden glanced up at the long lines of displayed intruments on the wall.
Stacey squeezed his hands, fighting the urge to cross her arms. "You know I hate picking." She complained. "I`m already letting you spend money on me, you pick." She pleaded.
Aiden wrinkled his nose up the same way Stacey always did. "Alright. I guess thats a fair deal." He agreed as he nodded briskly. He squeezed her fingers.
Stacey smiled and kissed his cheek. She ran her finger over his nose, making him relax the wrinkle. "You bet it`s a fair deal." She said, jumping off of the stool.
Aiden smiled, and composed his face. He slowly slid off his stool, and held onto Stacey's hand.
Stacey took Aiden`s hand, squeezing his fingers slightly, and started towards the door. "So, where are we going?" She asked casually.
Aiden looked around the store. They had pretty much seen everything that there was to be seen in this store. "I dunno. I guess we can walked around until we see something of interest." He suggested to her.
Stacey smiled, glad he couldn`t read minds. She figured Aiden would take her to the most expensive place he could find. "Sounds good to me. "She said in agreement.
(=P)
Aiden playfully squeezed her hand, and swung their arms back, and forth. He looked around for somewhere to go.
(( =] ))
As they came towards a rather nice restraunt, Stacey looked towards the other side of the street, hoping Aiden wouldn`t notice it there.
Aiden began to absentmindedly whistle a random tune. He wasn't really paying at the stores, and he walked around aimlessly.
Stacey smiled to herself as they passed the fancy restraunt. "Where do you want to go?" She asked.
Aiden caught her smile, and he smiled himself. "Well, I'm not sure yet. Any ideas?" He asked.
"Yea, go home and forget all of this." Stacey murmured. She didn`t like it when other people spent money on her. "But I promised that you could take me out to dinner. You have to pick." She reminded.
Aiden couldn't help but smile, at least a little bit. "It is up to you. But I guess I'll pick. I'll find somewhere inexpensive." He offered as a deal.
Stacey smiled sweetly. She was extremely glad that he hadn`t noticed the really expensive place. "Okay then, where would you like to go?" She asked.
Aiden looked around at the different places. "We could order something, and take it somewhere else to eat. If you think that's alright." He suggested to her. "Maybe the forest, or the lake? Anywhere is fine with me."
Stacey held up her free hand defensively. "You have to pick what we eat and where. I`ll go wherever you do." She insisted.
Aiden rolled his eyes over-dramatically. "Typical Stacey." He said with a soft grin. "How about we go back to school, and grab something to eat. Then we can go somewhere else, if you want."
Stacey shook her head. "Nope. You pick." She said stubbornly.
Aiden shook his head, but didn't he say no. "I guess that'l work since I have to pick." He said with a grin.
Stacey smiled. "That`s right. YOU have to pick." She said mischeviously.
Aiden smiled wryly. He suddenly wrapped one arm around in an one-armed hug as they walked. "Yeah. Even though I always do." Aiden said playfully.
Stacey shook her head defensivly. "Ah, no. I picked last time. "She insisted.
Aiden kissed her cheek suddenly, and looked at her. "Yeah, whatever." He teased. Aiden led them toward the school.
Stacey smiled happily, gently squeezing his hand as they walked. Her smile faltered slightly as they approached the fancy restraunt.
Aiden followed her gaze. "I know how you hate expensive places. Don't worry, I won't make you." He said with a smile.
Stacey smiled again. "I don`t care where we eat, I just don`t want you to take me to the most expensive place you can find just so you can spend money on me." She explained.
Aiden squeezed her fingers. "Sorry. I hadn't realized you hated it that much." He said with a small grin still on his face.
"I don`t hate it," Stacey quickly corrected, "But I agreed to let you pay for my dinner. I wouldn`t be too happy if you took advantage of that to take me to the grandest place you could. I dunno..." Her voice trailed off.
Aiden nodded in understanding. "Oh, I see what you mean. Sorry, I suppose I never really thought if it like that." He said as he squeezed Stacey's fingers again. He continued to hold her hand as they walked.
Stacey smiled and let a gentle heat warm their hands. "I love you, you know." She reminded.
Aiden grinned, and looked at her. "I love you very much too." He answered.
Stacey smiled and squeezed Aiden`s hand. "You have no idea how much."
Aiden began to walk a little slower. "You have no idea how much I love you." He told her.
Stacey raised their entwined hands to press his hand to her cheek. "Regardless, I still love you." She countered.
Aiden rubbed his thumb over her cheek lightly. "As do I. Through thick, and thin I will." He told her.
Stacey smiled. "So where do you want to eat?" She asked softly, her eyes sparkling from Aiden`s touch.
Aiden smiled, as he remembered where they were going. "We can go back to the school, and grab something to eat if you want."
Stacey grinned. "Sounds fine to me." She answered happily, genlt squeezing his fingers.
Aiden smiled, and slowly wrapped his arms around her. "Mind if I carry you?" He asked playfully.
Stacey`s smile expanded, her white teeth flashing. "Can if you want." She replied in a whisper, running the fingers of her free hand against his cheek.
Aiden held it arms out, and picked her up carefully. He was strong enough to be sure not to drop her. He smiled again, not showing any signs of struggle. "Hows that?" Aiden asked as he continued to walk.
Stacey was carefull not to move around too much, but she looped her arms around his neck. "This is perfect." She replied, her face close to his.
Aiden's eyes glowed, and he held her a little tighter. "I would have to agree." Aiden replied quietly. His eyes got brighter each moment.
Stacey rested her head on Aiden`s shoulder, feeling his warmth sep through his shirt.
Aiden took a deep breath. He still was not struggling as he held her. They were almost at the school now. "Are you hungry enough to eat now?" He asked.
Stacey nodded and closed her eyes. She was completely content where she was at the moment.
Aiden smiled in amusement as she closed her eyes. He didn't say another word, as they arrived at the school.
Stacey could faitly hear voices coming from inside the school and she frowned. She just wanted to be with Aiden right now, no one else
Aiden noticed her frowning. "You don't want to go in?" He guessed.
Stacey couldn`t help but smile at the sound of his voice. "I just want to be with you." she explained.
Aiden looked at the doors to the school. "Would you rather be by ourselves.?"
Stacey shrugged. "We can eat if you want to eat." She replied softly.
Aiden tilted his head to one side. "Depends on if you're hungry." He said with amusement in his tone.
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "If there`s food in front of me, I`l eat it, but if not, I`ll be okay." She promised.
Aiden looked at the school. "Would you like me to grab some food, and bring it out here?" He asked.
Stacey smiled and squeezed his hand. "I`ll go with you." She said softly, turning her head into his shoulder.
Aiden smiled, and wrapped his arm around his fiance. "Alright." He agreed liking that idea better.
Stacey winked playfully and started up the marble stairs. The voices had quieted down a lot, and when they got inside the Great Hall was almost empty.
Aiden held her hand as they walked up the stairs, and into the Great Hall. It was later than normal so no one really was there. He looked around at the food. "What would you like?" Aiden asked offering to get it for her.
Stacey smiled. "I can get it mysel, I`m not that worthless." She said in a sarcastic tone.
Aiden smiled. "I know. Well here you go." He said, handing her a plate and grabbing one for himself.
Stacey rolled her eyes and took the plate, slowly pilling different foods onto it.
Aiden chuckled under his breath, and took some food. He grabbed them quickly until he got all he wanted.
Stacey finished and turned toward the tables. "Where do you want to sit?" She asked, looking around.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders. "Anywhere is fine." He said but then decided to sit at a table a few feet away from where they already were standing. He slowly sat down. "Is this fine?"
Stacey smiled and sat beside him. "Perfectly fine." She said softly before picking up a fork.
Aiden smiled, and took a few bites of his meal. He ate a little quickly since he was hungry.
Stacey watched Aiden, eating much slower than him. "You could have told me you were starving." She complained softly.
Aiden smiled with amusement glowing in his dark eyes. "It's alright. I hadn't noticed I was this hungry until now actually." He said before he took another bite.
Stacey smiled and took another slow bite and her eyes flashed purple. ""I still would have made up my mind a little faster, you probably don`t like waiting on me all of the time."
Aiden tilted his head to the side. "I don't mind. It takes a long time for me to pick stuff too." He said with a smile.
Stacey rolled her eyes playfully then shoved another bite into her mouth.
Aiden took a few more bites, and then he was finished with his meal. He leaned back in his chair, and relaxed with a smile.
Stacey quickly finished her meal, then took his hand. "What now?" She whispered in his ear.
Aiden squeezed her fingers as he held them, and looked around. "I don't know. Would you rather stay here or go somewhere else?" He asked quietly as the rest of the students in the Great Hall were gone.
Stacey shrugged softly. "Whichever is fine with you. But it would probably be more comfortable somehwere else." She shifted her weight on the stone bench.
Aiden nodded in agreement, and he stood up. He held onto Stacey's hand to help her up. "Where sounds good?" He asked.
Stacey tilted her head. "You always ask me that, but don`t you know by now that I`ll be happy anywhere as long as I`m with you?" Her eyes sparked bright blue.
Aiden smiled as she said that. "Me too. I couldn't think of a better place." He told her quietly.
Stacey smiled back at him. "So where would you like to go?" She asked.
He thought for a moment. "Want to walk around the school? See what there is to do?" He suggested. He heard the clock's bell ring in the hall.
"Sure." Stacey replied, gently squeezing his hand.
Aiden smiled at her. "Alright." He agreed. He rubbed his thumb over the back of her hand as they walked out of the great hall.
Stacey smiled and swung their hands back and forth as they walked. Just being this close to him made her feel happy, whole.
Aiden walked a little faster up the revolving staircase. He looked around quickly. "Which way?" He asked almost out of breath from walking up the long stairs.
Stacey closed her eyes for a short moment before pointing to the left. "That way." She suggested.
Aiden nodded, and took her hand again. "This place is so huge, I don't think I've even been in half of the rooms here." He said with amusement in his tone.
Stacey laughed once; the sound sounded smug, but she wasn`t going to explain it unless he asked.
Aiden looked at her as she laughed. He gave her a curious look.
Stacey smiled again and rolled her eyes. "I`ve just been through this school so many times, it`s kind of hard to believe that other people have barely seen a third of the classrooms. Of course, hearing voices might get me some extra privlages." She smiled smugly again.
Aiden pressed his lips together in a line. He knew that Stacey heard voices, he had known that for awhile. They had even kept her awake at night. He just wished their was some way he could help Stacey out. "Yeah, I guess so." Aiden agreed, not sure on what to say.
Stacey didn`t need to read Aiden`s mind to know what he was thinking. "Don`t worry about me, there`s nothing anyone can do. Ginny can earase part of my mind, but it only works for a while. They`re getting quieter, and I don`t notice them as much." She assured, even though she was fibbing a bit.
Aiden hugged Stacey closer to him. "Thats good." He said as they walked up the stairs again. "What do they say?" He asked quietly.
It took Stacey a while to answer. "Some don`t say anything, but you can feel them. Some want to know why I can`t help them and they want to know where they are. Other say things that... some people would rather not hear, because if they can break someone down enough, they`ll be able to possess the person." She skipped the part about how that had almost happened twice.
"And others scream or cry." Her voice was barely louder than a whisper.
Aiden stopped walking as the staircase they stood on started to move. "I had no idea." He said quietly as his eyes softened.
Stacey shook her head. "They aren`t so bad, they just need help, but I can`t communicate with them, just try to block them out. I can barely hear them now." She assured.
Aiden looked at her seriously. "I hope so." He said. "I'm glad Ginny is helping too. I owe her one."
Stacey bit her lip; she wasn`t about to tell him that Ginny had stopped helping her with her shield after she became about six months pregnant, and still hadn`t resumed the task, but Stacey had it covered. For the most part.
Aiden watched her expression change, but he decided not to question it. He waited until the staircase stopped moving to start walking up them again.
Stacey gently squeezed his hand then started walking again, slowly, though.
As they got onto the platform he looked at the two directions to go. "Well, since you know whats what, where to?" Aiden asked as he looked at Stacey.
Stacey smiled. "I picked last time." She said simply.
He wrinkled his nose up, and shrugged. "Well, whats that room?" He asked, pointing to the left.
"An empty classroom." She replied quickly.
Aiden looked at the room on the right. "What about there?" He asked, looking down the hallway.
"Empty classrooms." She repeated with a smile.
Aiden laughed quietly. "Well, which empty classroom she would go in?" He asked sarcastically.
Stacey grinned and rolled her eyes. "I dunno. Just pick one." She replied, looking down both hallways.
Aiden turned back to the left. "That one." He said as he pointed. Aiden took her hand again, and pulled her down the hallway with a quiet laugh.
Stacey laughed, already knowing where their path would take them. She followed him at his side faithfully, admiring him more than where they were going.
Aiden looked at her, and smiled. He opened open the door, and looked inside the room. Empty classroom with only a few desks scattered around the dust ridden room. "You're right. Nothing in here."
Stacey smiled smugly. "I usually am." She replied with a smile.
Aiden grinned, and shrugged. He couched quietly from all of the dust particles floating in the air. "Where to now?" He asked with a curious expression. There was nothing in this room.
Stacey laughed quietly. "Wherever you want to go." She replied.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders again, and bit the corner of his lip. He took Stacey's hand again, and walked back into the hallway towards the revolving staircase.
Stacey noticed Aiden`s expresson, and didn`t say anything. She swung their hands back and forth as they walked.
Aiden began to absentmindedly hum a tune as they walked. He looked down the stairs. "Where to mad'am?"
Stacey shrugged. "Like I said, let`s go somewhere you haven`t been." She was deliberate.
Aiden looked up at the ceiling. "How about one of the towers? I bet theres a good view up there." He suggested.
Stacey smiled. "Yes, a very godd view, indeed."
Aiden smiled, and nodded with agreement. "Is that good?" He asked, taking her hand again.
Stacey nodded. "It can be beautilful in nice weather." She said softly.
Aiden nodded his head. "Yeah it can." He agreed. He squeezed her fingers softly, and swung their arms back and forth as they walked up the revolving stairs.
Stacey hummed softly as they walked; it was the song Aiden had sung for her one day in the Muggle shop.
Aiden looked at her, and smiled wryly. "You remembered that song?" He asked suprised.
"Hm?" Stacey asked, looking up to Aided. "Oh, yea, of course." She smiled at him.
Aiden turned his grin lightly. "Whats your favorite song?" He asked as he wrapped his arm around her.
Stacey shrugged. "There are many songs I like, this one justg stands out a little." She nudged him playfully.
Aiden nodded his agreement. He laughed when she nudged him in the side. "It brings me good memories."
Stacey smiled. "It should, we spent the whole day together and you didn`t run away screaming." She teased.
Aiden flashed a brilliant smile. "Yeah I know. I'm very proud of myself." He teased Stacey.
Stacey laughed softly. "You should be very proud of yourself, you`ve put up with me long enough to propose."
Aiden shook his head slowly. "I want to be with you. I don't put up with you." He repeated. "I want to."
Stacey laughed again. "Oh, I know. I`m just teasing you." She said, leaning forward slightly to kis him quickly.
Aiden smiled, and kissed her back. "I cerntainly hope so." He teased lightly.
Stacey smiled and jumped up, holding his hand and pulling him with her. "Come on, I want to teach you something."
Aiden smiled, and took her hand. "Alright. What would that be?"
Stacey puled Aiden in front of her and moved one of his hands so that it was on her waist. She moved diagonally, suideways, turned, and stopped. "The Italian waltz." She answered.
Aiden moved his hand to her waist as she directed him, and he looked down at his feet. "How does this one go?" He asked.
"Watch." Stacey said softly, not having to look down at her feet as she moved sideways and back to the complicated dance.
Aiden watched her feet carefully trying to stick the complicated steps to memory. He waited to follow along until the dance was over.
Stacey stoppedmidstep, a small frown on her face. She looked down to Aiden`s feet, with the frown.
Aiden looked at her face only to see her forwn. He cleared his throat, and began to do the complicated steps a bit clumsily. His pale face flashed a pale red.
Stacey laughed. "Stop. Stop." She begged, holding his shoulders so her couldn`t move. "I don`t see anything wrong with your feet. So why worry about them. You think too much. Just let the music move you." As there was no music, Stacey provided it. A soft tune began to play from apparantly no where.
Aiden nodded, and looked up at Stacey instead of his feet. She was right, when he didn't think about it he was alot better at it. Aiden began to dance more quickly, but not at the normal speed the dance should be at.
Stacey beamed at her fiance as she led him around and through the steps of the dance. "See, you`re doing much better!" She said merrily. She corrected his posture quickly when they swirled.
Aiden's face lit up with a silent laughter. "You're a good teacher." He told Stacey as they swirled together in the dance.
Stacey shrugged. "So what do you want to do for our first dance?" She asked casually, glad her voice didn`t betray her blush.
Aiden tilted his head to one side as he contemplated on the thought. "Uhm, well what is a good dance for that occasion? Obviously I'm not that good at dancing so I'm definitely not good at picking one." He told Stacey.
Stacey smiled shyly. "Well, we could do an upbeat tango. A romantic waltz. A ridiculus polka." Her voice trailed off. "What kind of dance you you want to do?"
Aiden entangled his fingers together with hers. "A romantic waltz?" He suggested, liking the sound of that dance.
Stacey`s smile grew and she inched closed to him. "Well, I think you have the basic moves down." She said, as they were still dancing.
Aiden nodded quickly. "Another reason why I like that dance." He told Stacey as she moved closer to him "I know it." He moved his hand to her back as they continued to dance.
Stacey giggled. "Now, let`s try the harder parts." she challenged. She pulled away slightly, still holding one of his hands, and twirled under his arm.
Aiden gracefully spun her around slowly. He was doing much better than he thought he could do as a dancer. He smiled a little at the accomplishment.
Stacey giggled and put her free hand back on Aiden`s shoulder. "Try doing this in petticoats and opera gloves." She teased.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, and smiled. "That sounds hard. I'd probably trip and fall." He said playfully.
Stacey laughed. "Well, try it in heels at the same time; now that takes talent." She teased as she led him through progressively harder steps.
Aiden began to practice through the harder steps. He had to go much slower than a skilled dancer would, but he managed to look at his feet less. He smiled a little more.
Stacey carefully led him trhough steps for at least another half hour. Finally she pulled away and pulled him to the couch.
"You`ve done well." She praised.
Aiden sighed out of exaustion. He sat down on the couch, and put his arm over her shoulder. "Thanks. You didn't too bad yourself." He praised with some teasing in his tone.
Stacey smiled and leaned her head on his shoulder. "It`s not so far off now, only a couple weeks." She said happily.
Aiden gently layed his hand on her shoulder. "Yeah. Very close. "I'm so ready for you to be my wife." He whispered in her ear.
Stacey`s grin widened and she slowly closed her eyes. "I can`t wait for you to be my husband." She whispered in reply.
Aiden smiled, and slowly leaned to kiss the top of her head. He sighed quietly as his eyes glowed brightly.
