Alice scowled as she raced throught the trees. She passed by a few large clearings but stopped at a rather small one. She leaned against a tree and tried to listen for something to eat. The bright moonlight shined down on her pale skin and made her stand out from the darkness.
James was walking around in the forest. He had nothing better to do and thought this would be the best thing to do. While walking he saw a rather pale girl standing in the distance. He started to walk towards her. He was going to introduce himself to her.
"mate were are you going" Said Bucky following his brother since they were hanging 'till James wandered of.Then Bucky saw who he was looking at "mate be careful she looks hungry" said Bucky then sent to him *watch out I think she's a vampire*.
Jackie sat in the trees above, where she had been observing the new vampire in the forest. She smiled as her lips parted over her teeth, gleaming into the forest when Bucky and James approached. Then she dropped from the tree upside down, holding onto a branch so her hair spilled out below her.
"Where you going?" She asked, smiling at the boys, although it almost came across menacing. Then she dropped to the ground and walked over to the new vampire. "Hm... Alice correct?" She asked, looking at her. She had no fear of vampires, for she was one herself.
Alice turned to face the two boys as they approched, then faced the girl. Alice could tell the girl was a vampire from her smell. "Yes." She said quietly.
James walked over to her and smiled. "You mush be new. I am James Black." He wanted to be friends with the girl. James smiled not caring wreather she was a vampire or not. Besides if she was that would maybe give him the excitement he had been looking for.
James then held his hand of for her to shake. "we can be friends if you want."
Alice raised an eyebrow and looked down at Jame`s hand. She forced her teeth to shrink to normal size, even though she was thirsty. She didn`t say anything, but looked up into his eyes.
Bucky was scared yet he was not a wuss so he said to the new girl "Bucklet Black but you can call me 'Bucky' nice to meet you".
Alice turned to face the little bot who said his name was "Bucky." She looked at him through her dark hair. She felt his worry and allowed her teeth to grow back. "Hi Bucky." She said quietly, making sure to flash her long teeth at him.
Jackie looked at the girl and almost positioned herself between her and James and Bucky somewhat defensivly. "You look quite thirsty." She observed outloud. "Do you want to go hunting?"

Bucky gulped when he saw Alice's large teeth yet he was becoming less fearful by the second until finally he had no fear at all.

Alice looked at Jackie. "I was just having fun with him." She comlained quietly.
James laughed. "wow so your trying to eat my brother. That would be an interesting one to explain to the family."
James was not sure what to do now. He wanted to be friends with the girl but was not sure she wanted to be friends. "so Alice what brought you to this schoo."
Alice tilted her head towards James. "I wasn`t trying to eat your brother." She said quietly. "I got kicked out of my old school." She answered.
"Oh," Jackie said, about to continue, but stopped and thought better. "I was serious, do you want to hunt? You really do look thirsty." She said somewhat softly.
Alice looked back to Jackie and nodded. Her eyes swirled black from her thirst.
James looked at him. "Oh I would not have minded. " He joked.
"So what can I do to help. I mean I want to be your friend if you would not mind me being that."
Stacey turned back to James. She nodded towards him, already feeling like she has spoken to much.
"So, uh.. Are you new to the whole hunting animals thing?" Jackie asked. She was when she first came here. She remembered, finally finding a way to realize she wasn't a moster.
Alice tuned, once again, towards Jackie. "No." She answered quietly.
"so how long ya been a vampire" Asked Bucky in a Aussie way.
Jackie turned her head as if the question was directed at her. "Huh? Me? About... 116 years." She replied as if it were a topic that came up all the time.
Alice turned to bucky with a menacing look. "Two-hundred and five years." She replied quietly.
Jackie gave a small laugh. "As you can see I'm rather young for a vampire." She said, almost surprised. This Alice girl certainly didn't look any years older than Jackie.
Alice nodded. "I was changed in 1803." Alice whispered quietly.

"Hey that's sad real sad" Said Bucky.
"How is that sad, Bucky?" Jackie asked, her eyes narrowing , trying to decipher what he meant.
"that he would not care if I got eaten to deaf" Said Bucky "I thought that was obvious" He continued then remembering they were vampires he added "but I was obviously mistakin".
"Hmph... I wouldn't care either." Jackie murmered to herself under her breath.
Bucky heard this an ran back to the castle angry as he*l.
Alice sighed and out her feet back on the opposite booth. "Finally!" She exclaimed quietly.

Alice rolled her eyes and stepped closer to Jackie. "Can we hunt now?" She asked in a low whispered, to low for a normal human to hear.
"Yes, lets." Jackie murmured back, slinking into a hunting crouch. A wide grin spread across her face in anticipation as she slunk silently into the forest.
Alice`s eyes grew black as she let her teeth grow and she followed Jackie silently. She had all her senses set on finding blood.
JAckie turned and pounced on a rabbit unfortunate anough to cross her path. The animal was drained in seconds. Then she took the body and placed it under a small pile of leaves. Then she quickly returned to Alice.
Alice was on the ground on her hands and knees. She was very tense and stared off into the trees blankly. She let out a low grolw, then dashed into the trees. A few minutes later, She returned to Jackie with blood splattered on her shirt. Her eyes were a brilliant blue, though. "Sorry," she appologized. "I don`t drink human blood, but I still get a little carried away." She mumbled.
Jackie laughed softly. She was extremely practiced because of her father. The only trace left was her brilliant red lips, that looked like she put on lipstick. She reached up into a tree and pulled from its branches a small shirt that she offered to Alice. "Here, you want it?" She said softly.
Alice shook her head polietely. "No, thank you." As she said this, the blood disappeared from her shirt. "I`ve learned a few tricks." She explained. She ran her fingers through her short black hair.
"I don't know if this forest is the best place for you to be hunting..." A voice said about them. "Students tend to roam far to far into it. You could end up hurting on of them."
Lavy appeared in a tree. She wasn't on a low branch like normal, she was up much higher. She knew what was going on and how vampires worked. Being here was already dangerous for all of them. There was no need for her to be close to them. That would just tempt them even more.
Alexis looked up to see a girl she hadn`t met. "I just fed and I don`t like human blood." She said quietly. Her eyes were a bright crystal blue that reflected the moonligh that glittered down through the leaves of the trees. "I haven`t fed from a human in one hundred and eighteen years.
Jackie smiled. "You're right. We are lethal, but only if we want to be." She said, her voice ringing like a bell into the silence. "I have very good self control, perfecting it for a century. I've only killed once and it was in a self defense, and where else do you expect us to hunt?"
She pondered that question herself trying to come up with a logical answer. She could grasp none. The forest was best for them to hunt in her opinion.
Lavy didn't move, "Yeah, I know you don't like it. But that doesn't mean you won't drink. If life has taught me anything it's never trust a vampire. Not because they're bad or good. It's cause self-control is relative. You can spend years, decades, centuries building it up and three seconds losing it all. Three seconds is all you need to attack me."
"But to were you should hunt...yes the forest is the closet. But you should move farther in. The game is bigger deeper in and the chances of a student being that deep in is slim to none...I'm Lavy by the way." She said with a smile.
"Hi, I'm Jackie, and right now, I'm posative I won't kill you now. I just ate." Jackie said, laughing softly and smoothing her hair down. "So why are you in the forest? Its because of people like you we have to be careful."
Lavy smiled. "I'm not a student anymore...in pratice anyways. I'm enrolled but mainly I just help with the student issues rather then let them work themselves up the chain of command. Gives the teachers a break. I come in here every night pretty much to make sure students aren't making out or whatever. I'm usually over closer to the lake, which is probably why you've never ran into me."
"But the animals have their own ways to communicate with me so I know you're here." She moved her body so that she was in a more comfortable postion, "I'm here tonight cause your a little closer to the edge of the forest then normal. And besides, if push came to shove, I would probably win in a fight against you."
Alice laughed. She had just met Lavy and didn`t know anything about her than the obvious. She jumped from the tree she was in and landed next to Jackie. "How can you be so sure of that? I`ve lived for 203 long vampire years and 16 equally as long human years. How do you know you would be able to kill me?"
"Forgive me for bragging but I guess I kinda have to to tell you why I know I can kill you. I have come across everything you can imagine. Vampires, werewolves, witches, wizards, merpeople, creatures of the deep....anything you can think of I've seen it and killed one of them."
"I've spent the last years on my own, keeping myself alive. I would know when your really trying to hurt and when your not. And if you were, I could destroy you before you looked at me twice."
Alice crossed her arms and nodded. "But what makes you think I`ll let you kill me? I have killed only eight humans in two-hundred and eight years, and they all attempted to kill me first. To make another point, I don`t kill human unless I have to."
Jackie smiled. "I don't fight." She said softly. "If you want to fight me good luck catching me. Like I said, I don't fight, I dodge or run. I only fight when I'm cornered." She added thoughtfully, shuddering at the thought of being in an enclosed space.
Lavy rolled her eyes, "I'm not here to hurt you. You asked a question and I gave you my answer. I came here to tell you that your closer to the edge then you normally are and that you should move deeper in. That way you will only have to kill a deer or two, rather then a half dozen or more rabbits. "
Alice stepped back and leaned against a tree. "I moved closer beacause I`m done feeding. I`m not hungry. But what`s the point in going back to school now?" She asked as her blue eyes reflected a spot of moonlight.
Lavy swung herself so that she was hanging upside down for a moment and then she let go. She did a complet one and a half turns in the air before landing gently on the ground with hardly a sound. She pushed her hair out of her face.
Out of the trees, they could see her clearly. Her long hair was falling out of the ponytail so most of it hung around her face. She was wearing long pants and rain boots but only a dark green short sleeved shirt. She brushed off her elbows, which were dirty and slightly bloody.
"I sure hope your full," She said lightly with a smile, looking over her bleeding elbows.
Alice closed her eyes and tilted her head, smelling the blood. She opened her eyes. "No offense, but you smell really bad." She said, meaning her blood. "Trust me, I wouldn`t eat you."
Lavy laughed, "I know you won't." She finished brushing off, "Sorry about the way I look. I don't usally look like this I promise. I had to break up a fight, of sorts, and ended up getting dirty."
Alice raised an eyebrow and laughed. "Do you know how many people I`ve seen? Poor people that sleep in street corners, only coming out at night beacause someone thinks something thats not true?" Behind her voice was clear anger. She had spent her early years as a vampire doing the same; hiding from people who were trying to kill her for what she was.
"I can't say I know exactly how you feel," Lavy said, picking up on the slight tensen in Alice's voice, "But I have an idea of what it feels like to be hiding because of what I am, or rather what I can do."
Alice tilted her head. "And what can you do?" She asked. Her reflective eyes caught another chunk of moonlight. She shook her head slightly to get her hair out of her eyes.
Lavy snapped her fingers and a small orb appeared in between them. It was light blue and it moved like water. It was was water. It grew quickly and began to take the shape of a bear.
"That's just one thing," It burst into flames but it was still the shape of a bear. The heat radiated off of it, "That's another. There are much more subtle things I can do to. Things that have to do with your mind."
Alice nodded. "Cool," She said, "I have the normal stuff. As well as the obvious vampire powers." She added.
The fire slowly diminished into nothingness, "Yeah, but what I can do has got me into a lot of trouble."
Alice continued to nod slowly. "Me too. When I was young, I lived in the time and place that people tried to hunt vampires." She said softly. Her eyes became distant as memories from the past inched their way into her closed mind.
