Alice sat alone in a small restaurant in Hogsmead. She was in a booth with her feet on the bench oposite of her. She had a bottle of red liquid in front of her and she stared at it blanky.
Bucky ran into the restaurant Alice was sitting in balling his eyes out (Crying like crazy). His face was scrunched up as he ran up to the booth Alice was sitting at. He did not notice her because he had his hand over his face so no one would notice him crying but the disguise did not work very well. When he sat in a seat at he booth he asked the man for a coopers pale-ale and drank it crying.
Alice raised an eyebrow at the boy. She put her feet on the floor and rested her chin on her hands. She silently took a sip of the blood.
Jackie walked into the bar and sat on the edge of the booth where Alice was. "Um... Whats wrong with him?" She asked raising her eyebrows quewstioningly.
Nate walked in and sat next to Jackie and ordered for some blood from the waiter that was hanging at the bar. He looked around and spotted Bucky with his hands over his face. He pointed at him to Jackie not noticing Alice,"Whats happened to Bucky? He doesnt seem to happy?"
Bucky took his hand from his screwed up, blown up face and answered "Some girl just dumped me she said I was An A**hole and then a boy came and said 'back off there's a new sheriff in town' and tried to kill me".Bucky ordered another coopers Pale-ale and drank it in two sips.
Nate looked at him," Yeah well thats understandable. i mean why your all upset and stuff. What do you want me to go beat that dudes ass or somethin cause im kinda in the mood," he said with a sad smile.
"oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yeah sounds fun" said Bucky.then Bucky started imagining Nate bite the bastard and found it deadly cool so he asked the girls if they'd like to join in to.
((did you have a plan for this one Alice/Stacey?))
"Um, I'll pass." Jackie said raising an eyebrow. "My goal for the past, hmm... hundred years now was to NOT kill someone." Then she listened to Bucky's thoughts and her hand twitched, as she fought the urge to reach over and slap him so hard his head would probably end up backwards.
She frowned, her eyes slits. "I doubt anyone would be bitten though." She growled angrily. She quickly ordered some blood to calm herself down. She drank a few sips quickly until her breathing evened, no longer spiked by anger.
Alice was now squished into the corned of the booth with two other people just on the same side. She cleared her throat and felt as the boy apparently called Nate offered to hurt someone and Jackie became slightly angry. She took a slow drink from her blood- bottle. Jackie, what the heck is going on? She thought only to Jackie, no one else. Jackie was the only person present who Alice knew.
Jackie sighed. Bucky's not thinking because some girl dumped him. SHe replied in her thoughts to Alice, not caring if anyone else heard. It was the truth. He wants Nate... She thought motioning with her head towards Nate to go kick his ass because he's better that him. Why are they so stupid sometimes? She ended up thinking with a grin to herself.
((Ahem, ALICE please!))
Alice nodded; she understood that. If Bucky is mad beacause someone dumped him, why doesn`t he just get over it. There`s nothing he can do easily without hurting the girl, which would just make her mad.
Bucky read there minds and heard the conversation and replied teleplaythy I just want to get the A** Hole who tried to kill me.
Jackie grunted. "Bucky shut up! Jelousy isn't anything to kill over!" She almost shouted then mumbled something along the lines of: "I would know..." Under her breath.
Alice turned her brilliant blue eyes on Bucky. "Do you know how many times someone has tried to kill me?" She asked coldy. "One hundred and seventy two."
Jackie looked at Alice and raised her eyebrows. "Hm... not as high as my record, but what did you do?" She asked curiously.
Alice glanced at Jackie. "What do you mean; 'What did i do'?"
"I mean, why have you been an attempted murder victom 172 times." Jackie replied, her voice sounding out of place after the soft Alice's.
Nate looked at them two,"Id like to know to." He said leaning his elbow on the table, his chin cupped in his hand.
Alice shrugged. "I was a vampire in the 18 hundreds when people were hunting us. Of course they never killed me. Men have tried to kill me a few times for who knows what." As she said this she glanced at Bucky. "It all adds up." She concluded.
"I see, I was wondering if it was just people, or one person..." JAckie said trailing off into thought a bit at the end of her sentence flipping the end of her hair.
Nate smiled at Jackie," Well then what about you? Why were people trying to kill you?"
Jackie's face no longer held a smile. It was filled with the sorrows that anyone who hadn't seen exactly what she did could never experience. "M-my dad wasn't well liked... because he didn't hunt humans... so neither was I..." She said, frowning now, somewhat lost in memories.
Nate stared at her feeling bad for her. He said softly,"Sorry..I, i shouldnt of asked that."
Jackie shook her head, still looking down. "Don't apologize. You had no idea." She said, looking at invisible patterns on the table and tracing them with her fingers.
Alice nodded in understanding. "One man tried to kill me when he found out I was a vampire." She noted more to herself than anyone. She had loved that man very much, and for him to try to kill her.....
Nate smiled sadly at the change of subject..well kindof." Im sorry that must of been hard on you." he added, "Ive tried to kill one of my friends...i regret even thinking about it," his voice serious and sad. He
Alice leaned forward to look at Nate. "Have you ever killed a human before?" She asked casually, as if discusing the weater.

Jackie nodded understandingly. "The only time I've ever killed was in self defense." She said softly looking at her fingers which were wound around eachother tightly now. Then she stopped and looked at Nate somewhat leaning in out of curiosity at what his answer to Alice's question.
Nate looked at them in deep thought, his voice shaky,"...Yes but i wasnt thinking..i..i didnt know i was doing it till it was over," His eyes blazed with a swirl of blackness as he thought deeper into what had happened.
Alice sensed Nate`s feelings. "I`m sorry, I didn`t mean to bring back old memories." She whispered, knowing full well that he would hear her.
Nate shook his head as his hair moved crazyily, taking the memory out of his head. "No..no its alright. I guess i kind of forgot about it till now.." he said with a warm smile,"I guess i just needed the flashback anyways cause lately i havnt been too careful..."
"Like you said, you didn't mean to." Jackie said softly, her voice comforting. "But what do you mean, you haven't been so careful?" She asked, suddenly curious again and leaning forward, her chin resting on her hand.
He looked into her eyes,"Ive been just..not me lately. Is all." he said being careful of what he could or couldnt say. He didnt want them, especially her to think he was some psycho or something.
Alice looked from Jackie to Nate. she had seen right through Nate, not literally, but inside him. She completely closed her mind to Jackie. *Do you have a girlfriend?* She thought to Nate.
Jackie nodded, understanding at what Nate said. Then she leaned back against the seat of he booth, taking a small sip of blood, lost in thought.
Nate looked at Alice in surprise and then in shock, *No, nothing like that. But i do like someone...,* he thought back to Alice blocking Jackie from the telepathy. He then took another long sip out of his cup of blood.
Alice knew her next question was probably crossing the line, but she didn`t care. *could you tell me who it is?* She thought in a sweet voice, taking a long sip of her blood as she did.
Nate looked up at her in surprise again. He thought to her stubbornly,*No, id rather not sorry." He looked down at the table pretending to be preoccupied.
Alice nodded. *I understand. I hope you trust me enough some day to tell me.* She replied, then she looked at Jackie. "Hey, Jackie, why the face?" She asked.
Jackie noticed a couple things flicker across Nate's face, but ignored them and looked at Alice in slight confusion. "What face?" She asked, putting down the glass she held in her hand.
"I don`t know," Alice shrugged, "Far-off, tired, distant. She put her elbow on the table and rested her chin on her palm.
Jackie smiled and scooted subconciously closer to Nate before answering. "Thinking, I guess." She finally replied.
Alice nodded and sighed internally. She thought that mabey and Nate and herself could have gotten a little closer, but that didn`t look like that was going to happen. She shrugged to herself; she was used to rejection.
Jackie frowned and looked at Alice, leaning forward on the table. "Whats wrong?" She asked curiously as she saw some emotion flicker across Alice's face. Her eyebrows came together, forming a small dent as she studied Alice's face for any response.
Nate notice that something was going on between them but he couldnt figure it out. He felt a little awkward. He ruffled his dark hair,"Hmm..umm im thinking about getting another drink," he said lightly,"Ill be right back." He moved out of the booth and said politely thankyou when he finally stood. And he walked off to the bartable trying to make a distraction for himself.
Jackie vaugely was aware of Nate leaving behind her, but her probing gaze didn't leave Alice as she waited calmly for an answer.
Alice tilted her head as Jackie stared at her. "I strongly dislike it when people stare at me like that." She said quietly. "Nothing`s wrong." She added as she finished her bottle of blood.
"Ok. Well then I apologize." Jackie replied turning her gaze away to the table where her small almost full cup of blood was sitting. She grasped it in her small hand and drank what was left in a few seconds, leaving her lips red like she had put on makeup.
Nate tilted his head back to see if the girls were doing alright. But they looked the same as he had left them. He thanked the guy who handed him his drink and then walked back to Alice and Jackie. "So what id miss," he asked with a smile as he slid into the seat.
"Nothing." Jackie replied, quickly with a tiny half smile. She moved her fingers around on the small empty cup in front of her.
Nate stiffened at the sudden response. He cleared his throat,"Well..thats interesting." He thought quickly of something he could say to break the awkward silence. He said nicely with a warm smile,"So hows school going," he asked to anyone that would answer it. Those were the lines he always asked when he felt like there was an awkward feeling.
Alice smiled, a larger smile than usual. "Do you know how many times I`ve heard that in how many varitations?" She asked with unsusual laghter behind her words.
Nate smiled at the sudden change of mood,"Hmm..maybe like a thousand! well im sorry.."
Alice`s eyes sparkled. "It`s okay. When you`ve lived for two centuries, you have to get used to hearing the same things."
Nate raised an eyebrow,"Two centuries? Well i guess you do have to get used to it."
Alice nodded and twisted her bottle in her hand. "Yea. When you get as old as me, you hear things over and over and over again." She explained, looking at Nate through her eyelashes.
Nate took a long sip out of his drink and looked up to her,"Hmm..sounds like a hard life," he mumbled.
Alice tilted her head. "Not really. Just having to stay hidden most of your life so no one tries to kill you. It`s not really as hard as it sounds." She said quickly.
He looked at her quizically as he set his drink of blood on the table,"Isnt it hard not really knowing if your safe or if the ones you loved were safe? Didnt you want to just be free and not feel locked up?"
Alice looked up into Nate`s eyes, her own reflective, brilliant blue eyes staring at him. "The ones I love are safe. I make sure of that. And I wasn`t locked up." She whispered.
Nate shook his head,"No i didnt mean it that way," he said lightly,"I mean isnt it hard being chased around instead of being just careless?"
Alice tilted her head and narrowed her eyes. "If I was careless, I would have killed hundreds of people. And, eventually, the population of the town would have decreased dramatically."
He smiled, leaning on his elbow,"I guess thats right. Sounds like you have chosen the smart choice."
Alice snorted. "Yea, some choice." She said with unintended coldness in her voice.
He raised an eyebrow as he notticed the coldness that seeped through her words,"It wasnt that good of a choice, huh?"
Alice shook her head. "No, nevermind." She said quietly. She pushed all of those thoughts away and finished her bottle of blood.
Nate looked at her and decided this was a touchy subject. He didnt really know how to change subjects but he was trying to,"So your a vampier right?"
Alice raised an eyebrow as she looked at him. "No, I just drink blood, am practically indestructable, and have lived for two-hundred and three years just for pure fun." She said sarcastically.
Nate blushed,"Well you never know these things. I mean for all i know your just some person that i saw randomly making up some story to fit in,"he teased. "But i guess that would be a little bit of an overtake. I mean who would make up a story like that?"
Alice snorted. "You`d be surprised." she said. "So, what`s your story?" She asked, smoothly changing the subject.
Nate looked at her with no clue what she was talking about,"About what?"
Alice rolled her eyes. "Your vamp story!" She exclaimed.
His eyes slid down to the table,"Umm..well thats a long story." He shuffled his feet under the table uncomfortably. His eyes full of sadness but he wanted to tell her the story. "If you have the time then i will tell you."
Alice tensed slightly. "I have time." She replied softly. She leaned forward on the table, her probing eyes full of concern and curiosity.
He took in a deep breath and cleared his throat,"Well see i was dying ever so quickly. My sister, she couldnt bare me to see me in such pain. I was sick with an unknown disease that no doctor had ever witnessed, it made me weaker with every moment. My sister was a vampier and knew exactly what would save me but there was consequences. She was my oldest sister and at the time was 130, a young age for her though. So she bit her arm and painfully forced me," he closed his eyes as images of what happened appeared in his head,"forced me to drink from her. I tried to move her away, i tried to save her. I told her i didnt need to be save, i will be alright. But she knew i was lying." He whispered quietly as he shook painfully,"I killed her..just so i could live." A tear ran down his face but he quickly shook his hair so a strand hid his eyes. Sadness appeared over his face,"Thats how i became a vampyre," he replied in a whisper.
Alice reached her arm out and layed a hand on Nate`s arm. Her reflective blue eyes locked onto his. "I`m sorry." She murmured. She put her other hand under the table so Nate wouldn`t see how she was clenching her hand into a fist.
Nate flinched as her hand rested on his arm. He looked down,"Its alright..kinda," he murmered as he thought of his older sister.
Jackie leaned further back into the seat and rose from the booth. She looked at the ground and hid her face in her long blonde hair. "I have to go." She muttered, still looking down as sh headed to the door.
Alice was in front of Jackie before she was ten feet away. "I`m really sorry." She murmured so only she would hear. "I didn`t know until I felt it in him." She explained, hoping Jackie would know what she meant.
Nate looked up and immediately stood up, he grabbed Jackies hand so she couldnt leave him,"No dont go."
