Stacey hurriedly ran down the stairs, her feet flying down the short steps. She glanced into the almost empty Great Hall as she ran towards the door. She slammed against the door with a grunt, bringing herself to an abrupt halt. "Please, please, please." She whispered under her breath before she slowly opened the heavy door.
"No!" She exclaimed as she saw the glittering ground. The cool sun made the newly-fallen snow glitter and shine like diamond dust had been sprinkled on it. Stacey took a few catious steps. She shivered and zipped up her brown coat. She pulled the fake furred hood closer around her neck.
She skidded down the slippery stairs. And sighed; she hated snow. It was so cold and when it melted it was too wet. She rolled her eyes at the sky.
From far a distance, a shout was heard. Rumbling.
Someone was running. Fast. Down the stairs. Screaming with fun.
Having someone behind them scowling them. But he didn't care.
The snow was here.
Albus ran down into the entrance hall, grinning like a child, on Christmas day.
Only wearing a T-shirt and some old raggedy shorts, that had been cut like that, from a nice pair of jeans.
Happiness, was glowing all around him. He felt marvelous, ready to do anything, his energy, and powers, at top.
Sprinting out of the hall, and into the snow, he noticed that he finally had gotten away from Filch.
~ It wasn't MY fault that statue suddenly fell down when I were running by! ~
The ice cold wind, hit his face, like a warm summer wind. This was heaven.
His body was thriving; the blue skin actually got a shade lighter, seeming that Albus' body temparature was even colder now.
At his side, he noticed a not so happy girl. She looked familiar. Someone he hadn't seen in a while.
Albus walked closer. He wasn't afraid that his feet would slip on his feet, he had a good balance.
The girl hadn't noticed him yet; she was busy groaning about the snow.
" 'Ello? "
Stacey shreiked happily as she turned to face Albus. She forgot all about the snow. She put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, stranger." She said. She looked at his clothes, and opened her mouth to say something, then closed it as she remembered what he could do.
A large smile appeared on her face, her eyes suddenly a lively blue, almost matching Albus`s skin.
"Where`ve you been lately?" She pondered.
Albus smiled back to her. " Well, I've been out in the forest, taking long walks, and... Nothing particulary! But now, I'm gonna have FUN! " He felt slightly dizzy, from the estatic feelings going through his body.
Grinning like a little child, was the only thing that he could do.
" Where've you been lately? "
Stacey`s large smile became mischevious. "Only everywhere." She answered. "Dang, Albus, you`re still crazy." She added, seeing his lack of warm clothes. "Won`t you still get cold?" She felt stupid as soon as she said this, she already knew the answer.
"Oh, nevermind. What kind of fun are you gonna have?" She asked, changing the subject. She let go of Albus`s shoulder and pulled her coat tighter around herself.
"This kind of fun!" Jessie said, throwing a snow ball at Albus. She giggled and stayed where she was, about 20 feet away.
She wasn't used to the cold, Australians never really were. But she was tough. Snow was a rarity where she lived, and even a snowflake meant a day off for her.
She loved the snow. It was like all other forms of precipitation, but different in it's own way, like she was.
She wore black boots with sweat pants tucked into them. She had snow white mittens, and a navy blue jacket. A yellow hat and green scarf completed her outfit, also fitting in the remaining colors of the rainbow.
Albus got hit right in his head. He looked around to see who had hit him. He saw Jessie, talking to him.
Deep down in his stomach, it tickled, and he blushed.
Quickly, so that the two girls shouldn't notice that he was blushing, he shaked his head free for snow, and made a snowball from nothing in his hand.
Albus threw for Jessie, hoping that he would hit, as he had a really good teasing line ready.
" What kind of fun did ya say?" He grinned, teasing slightly.
Jessie got hit in the back, which knocked the wind out of her, along with a very strange noise. She made a snowball and tried to throw it as she turned around. This maneuver showed off her horrible aim and it flew no where near him.
She laughed out loud, then blushed. She turned to make another snowball, hoping no one had noticed. She threw it at Albus and said, "This kind of fun!"
Stacey had an odd smile on her face; she hated sow but she loved snowball fights. She quickly made a large ball, then carefully metled the ooutside of it. The melted snow refroze almost instantly. "Forgetting someone?" She teased holding up the snowball.
Leah appeared from around a tree to throw a snowball at Stacey. "Definitley not!" She giggled and hid again, trying to make more snowballs.
Stacey ducked as the snowball sailed past he shoulder. She threw the snowball towards her and made another one.
Albus smiled. " Nice aim Jessie! " He formed a snowball in his hand; and threw it at Stacey.
" I know, I forgot to throw at you too! " Grinning he went in cover to not be hit by any snowballs.
Stacey ducked again, narrowly avoiding Albus`s snowball. "This is not fair! I control fire, not snow!" She exclaimed defensivly, throwing a snowball at Albus now.
" Too bad for you! " Albus made seven snowballs out from nothing, and aimed them at Stacey.
" Eat Snow! "
Stacey smiled and raised both of her arms. She forced flames out of her plams, melting the snowbals when they becames withing ten feet of her. "Eat smoke!" Stacey called back.
"Attack!" Jessie cradled snowballs in her arm. She ran out from behind her cover and threw the snowballs at Stacey.
~~~
Leah saw Jessie run out from cover, and so she did the same, throwing them at Stacey.
Stacey gasped at the sudden ambush. She quickly made a fire-wall explode. The snow between Stacey and the wall melted and so did the snowballs Leah and Jessie threw.
Albus watched the ambush and smiled. Out from nowhere, he jumped, right in front of Stacey, throwing a snowball that had appeared in his hand.
He aimed for her face. Landing softly on the snow, he ran into cover, having no time to look if he had hit her, or not.
Stacey saw Albus out of the corner of her eyes. She twisted the fire wall around but she was a little late. Water hit her face. "Aww!" Stacey exclaimed. She made the wall bigger so it surrounded her, but she couldn`t do much else. The snow inside the walls melted quickly, leaving Stacey in a warm, snow-free area.
Jessie frowned. "You're no fun Stacey!" She made snowballs and threw them at Albus, missing most of the time.
" Yeah! No FUN! " Albus said, suddenly getting hit right in the back of his head by a snowball.
He lost his balance, and swayed from side to side. He looked at Jessie, laughing. She was missing with nearly every snowball.
" CHARGE! " Albus shouted, and ran against Jessie. He closed up, and throwed her with him, grasping her around the waist, landing on the soft snow.
Jessie screamed as Albus charged at her. She backed up, but didn't know what to do. Suddenly, his hand was around her waist and they were laying in the snow. She looked at him, her hand was on his cheek. Did she put it there? Nothing was making sense. All she could see was him.
Albus looked at Jessie, finally realizing what he had done, and blushed.
~DANG IT!~ " Errm.... " He said slowly, having nothing to say, stomach tingling, he was frozen.
He'd long forgotten that Stacey and Leah were there, as he leaned forward.
Jessie leaned forward. Inhaling. She could see only him, and leaned closer. Her hand still rested gently on the side of his face. Snow fell gently on them, sticking in her hair and eyelashes.
(( Were posting miles ahead of everyone ;) ))
Albus's hand had been placed on Jessies waist, without him even noticing it. He drawed closed, and kissed her, on the lips.
Laying in the soft snow.
((I know it's great!! I haven't done this for so long!! ;D))
One moment she was laying there looking into his eyes, the next their lips were touching. Her fingers knotted into his hair. She couldn't believe it.
(( Ditto.... ;D ))
Eyes meeting, lips touching. They lay in the snow, kissing. His hearth was beating furiously, his mind was estatic.
Finally, he and Jessie showed their love to eachother.
(( Should we soon wait for Stacey and Leahs, " OH MYGOOOOOOD! " Then giggle or? ))
((Hmm.... hard to say.... I think we should wait... I can't say much more about a kiss...))
((Ditto. ;D ))
Stacey made the fire-wall disappear. She looked away politely as Albus and Jessie had a moment. She softly cleared her throat after a moment. Her eyes were bright orange from using fire.
Leah looked at Stacey and giggled. She too had seen Jessie and Albus have a 'moment'.
~~~
Jessie smiled as she heard Stacey and Leah. She looked Albus in the eyes trying to speak with him.
Albus delved into her eyes. (( Are we still kissing ?)) Ignoring Stacey and Leah, " What is it? " Said Albus awkwardly, they'd just kissed, and now he were ruining the whole thing.
((I guess not))
Jessie giggled. She said, "Nothing." She laughed again and thought to him, ~Ambush?~
Albus kissed her on the cheek, and got up. Pretenting that the snowfight was over, he walked towards Stacey, a bit embarrassed.
He smiled, as he approached her, ready to conjure many snowballs.
Jessie blushed, not entirely on purpose. She too stood up, but kept her eyes on the ground. She scuffed her feet kicking up a pile of snow.
Stacey raised her ands in front of herself as Albus came closer. "You know I don`t like snow." She said nervously, expecting atack.
" Yeah Yeah.... Wanna go inside? I think Jessie's freezing..." Albus said, looking at Stacey, talking completely normal.
He was ready, and waited for Jessie to start the ambush.
Stacey took a step back, her hands still in the air. "For some reason, I don`t trust your intentions." She said softly with a smile. She began to biuld up heat in her palms. She took anither step back, coming to the edge of the melted-snow circle.
Jessie grabbed a clod of snow and threw it as fast as she could at Stacey. She immediatley made more and then threw them at Stacey.
Stacey shreiked and raised her arms defensivly. Heat exploded from her palms as she backed up. "Stop it!" She begged. "I hate snow!"
Jessie giggled and stopped. At least now everyone's attention was on Stacey and not her.
Albus waved his hand slightly; snowballs appeared from every angle, going at Stacey.
" EAT SNOW! AGAIN! " He smiled, as he looked at Jessie.
Stacey shreiked again and expanded the heat bubble. She was now standing in the middle of it, blocking everything. Her eyes were bright orange and wide open. She stood with her hands and feet wide apart, her head was tilted up as she tilted up as she had to concentrate, or be ambushed by a hundred half-melted snowballs.
Jessie giggled. She noticed Albus looking at her and looked at him. Their eyes interlocked, and everything else faded away. It even seemed to get quieter.
Delving, a good description. He couldn't but, when his eyes was locked, looking at her.
The snowballs still kept conjuring themselves from nowhere, flying against Stacey, by themselves.
A tickling sensation spread.
