All classes were done, and soon dinner would start. Hayden sat there at the Griffindor table, in the Great Hall. It was an hour exactly till dinner, and he got there early. He as tired. Worn out, and he didn't know why. A glass of water appeared in front of him and he took a drink, feeling the cold water go down his trought.
Hayden didn't know many people, here but he really didn't care. All he wanted to do was get out of school so he could go back to New York and see his friends, but he didn't know when that would be again. His parents went to Italy a month ago and he hadn't heard anything from them.
"Oh well."he said to himself.
Stacey snorted as she sat a few feet away from him on the other side of the table. Her eyes were dark green as a glass of soda appeared in front of her. She took a sip of it before setting down a sketch pad and soft-lead pencil. She was still in her school uniform.
He looked over at her, and glared. He then got up and moved to the other side of the table, and sat in frount of her. "Well hello."he said with a smile.
"Hello." Stacey said absentmindedly as she picked up her soft pencil. She quickly sketched the outline of a head and torso.
Leah walked into the Great Hall, done with her homework, and in need of some socializing. She had expected the place to be deserted, but a smile found it's way across her face when she saw someone there.
"Stacey!" She called, raising a hand to alert Stacey of her presence. She walked over to where Stacey was sitting with a boy she hadn't seen before. "Hey!" She said to Stacey, and then looking at the boy she said, "Hi, I'm Leah."
Hayden looked at Stacey, "That is no way to treat a friend."he said to her then looked at the other girl that came over to where they were, "Hello, Im Oliver Hayden Hazard-Perry, but you can call my Hayden."he said to her with a smile.
"Wow what a name! Nice to meet you!" She said, sitting down. She looked at what Stacey was drawing and said, "Who's that going to be?"
Hayden looked at Leah, "Uhh, thank you."he said to her.
Stacey rolled her eyes to her paper as Hayden talked. She looked up at Leah with a smile. "Hopefully, a person. Don`t know who yet, mabey Aiden or Ginny." She said thoughtfully.
He looked at her, "Or, it could be me."he said,"you never know."he added, and then smiled at Stacey.
Stacey looked up at Hayden, a look of pure surprise on her face. "Why would I draw you? You`d ruin my sketchbook." Inside she was laughing hysterically. She had her mind blocked against him, like always, but Leah could hear her.
He looked at her, "Ahh, it wouldn't matter, it is already ruined"he said to her with a cold smile.
"Oh, and Stacey can I have your picture? I collect natural disasters."he said to her and took a drink of his water.
((OMG, that is like so old...))
Stacey smiled at him. "And I collect blood." She said. She sketched more of the picture and looked at it. She tunred to Leah. "It kind of looks like you." She noted.
((haha I know. I am with my friends Zach and he told me to put it. He said his sister said that to him once. haha loser.))
"Ohh, scaryy"he said to her then laughed.
Stacey`s eyes flashed red at Hayden, telling him to shut up. She turned to look at Leah. "I`m sorry about him." She said softly. "He doesn`t know when to grow up."
He looked at her, "Give me candy and I will shut up."he said to her, and smiled.
Stacey rolled her eyes and threw a piece of hard candy at Hayden. She hoped it would hit him in the head, but part of her knew it wouldn`t.
Leah hardly held back the giggle when Stacey laughed inwardly. She watched the two fight and laughed quietly to herself.
Leah just watched in fascination at the two of them. It was like they were siblings, but they weren't related at all. ((right?))
Hayden looked at Stacey, "Thank you!!"he said to her.
He looked looked at Leah, "So how have you been today??"he asked her, and smiled.
((Wrong; aparently he`s my twin, but my parents gave him away at birth. He haunts us.))
Stacey could tell Leah wanted so desperatly to laugh. She looked at her, her eyes an annoyed green, but she smiled anyway.
((I HEARD THAT!))
Hayden looked at Stacey, "Be nice"he said to her.
Leah just watched them go at it. As she watched them she realized the they looked alike.
Hayden sat there, and keep on laughing. He started to eat, and then looked around.
((Good for you.))
Stacey coughed and sketched on her paper more. She tilted it towards Leah. "Who does this look like to you?" She asked. She glared at Hayden, daring him to make a comment.
He looked at her and smiled,"It looks like something died maybe it's me!!" he said to her and laughed.
Stacey turned her head to face Hayden. She snapped her fingers and a blue flame appeared in her fingers. She let it grow to the size of a basketball. "Yea, mabey it is you." She said. The look in her eyes turned deadly again, but she knew only Leah would see through it.
Leah chuckled. She knew Stacey was faking it, but Hayden didn't know that.
Hayden sat there and laughed, "You bore me."he said to her.
"I bore you?" Stacey asked in a surprised tone. Without moving, fireworks exploded right behind Hayden, making loud popping noises.
"It's not really possible for Stacey to bore you." Leah said, surprised as well.
Stacey laughed loudly. "Exactly. Trust me, I could never, never, ever bore you."
Leah giggled, "I don't think it's even OK to think that she could bore you, let alone SAY it."
She looked at them, "Well she does, you aren't her brother."he said to them.
"No but she's just not a boring person!" Leah insisted, nodding.
Stacey rolled her eyes and made sparks explode right in front of him. She laughed in her mind. "Who said you were my brother?" She turned to Leah. "See! My point exactly! My brain isn`t programmed to be boring."
He looked at her, "That was sooo last year, along with your face."he said to her
Leah chuckled, even though she tried not to.
Hayden laughed along with her.
Stacey put a hand on her hip. "Was this so last year?" She challenged. She turned on her heel, her hands snapping into the air. A long stram of fire emerged from her palms and swirled in the air. The fire churned together to form a pheonix, a dragon, and centuar. The fiery beasts dashed around the room like they were living.
The dragon and pheonix were flying around, trailing flames as they did so. Stacey turned back to Hayden, hands on her hips again. The creatures continued to move, even though she gave no apparent force to keep them going.
He shrugged his shoulders, "Ive seen bigger."he said.
Stacey rolled her eyes. "Dude, I can`t set the building on fire. The room isn`t big enough to do much else. Fire needs oxygen to live." She said, her tone like that of a teacher.
"Obviously!" Leah said, rolling her eyes.
He looked at them, then smiled. Ice came all around them, and then froze Stacey in sold form. He did it before she had any time to react. It was to fast for her to think.
Hayden laughed.
Leah spun a web of lightning and used it to form a spinning, crackling tornado around Hayden. Then she was the one laughing.
The ice around Stacey melted before it touched her, the heat bubble still around her. "Dude, you can`t just try to freeze me when I have a heat bubble around me." She said, rolling her eyes. She added to Leah`s lightening.
Leah's hands appeared to be just neatly folded in her lap, but they were actually the source of all the lightning. She had figured out a way to have something originate from her hands, but become visible somewhere else.
He just stood there. "Lighting wont affect me."he said to them.
"Really?" Leah asked as several lightning bolts reached out and shocked him.
He stood there, as the struck him. He then looked at her, "Told you"
"I could so zap you." Stacey bragged and carfeully opened the mind block to Leah`s powers, letting her powers sink into her own skin.
"Double zap." Leah said, looking at Stacey. When Stacey was about to zap Hayden, Leah would join in, forming the double zap.
He laughed at them. Before anyone could see he disapeard. He was no where to be found.
Stacey lifted and jerked ehr hand like she was throwing something, but nothing was vaisable. A loud crack sounded and Hayden was visable again. "Like I told you when we first met, dear brother, people constantly underestimate what I can do." She said, her breathing quickening slightly.
((in not invisable, im not there, period. Its like a left the room))
((Well, go with it.))
((uhhh, noo. You can't always have it your way))
((Fine, I`ll rephrase my last post.))
Stacey put her hands on her hips, looking towards the ceiling. She snapped her fingers and a green orb shot from her fingertips. It circled around her, then stopped when it was in front of her. It was just above her waist about a foot away.
It suddenly fanned out and lines began appearing over it. In a few minutes, a green map of the school was floating, a red dot in the place on the map where she was.
"Come out, come out wherever you are." Stacey whispered teasingly, and as she did so, a purple dot appeared where Hayden disappered and waited for a moment, the flitted toward the map.
Leah looked on in amazement. She didn't know you could do something like that, especially on school grounds!
Stacey smiled at Leah, and when she spoke, she was slightly breathles.
"Cool, huh? My dad taught me how to do this, it helps you find people." The purple dot was floating around the green map.
Leah nodded, impressed. "That's really cool! Can you teach me?" She asked, thinking it might come in handy.
((Didn't you say before that the map was red? It doesn't really matter, but I was just wondering...))
((No, the dot that marked where Stacey was is red.))
"Sure, let`s just find Hayden first." She quickly agreed, concentrating on the map.
((Is the title of this RP from "Pokerface?" I know..random. But I was listening to the song and then I remembered this topic and like...had to run back here to see.))
Leah nodded, looking back down at the map. She watched the purple dot fly around the map, pausing on different spots.
"So... why is it so important to find him right now? I mean, couldn't we just wait it out and see?" Leah asked, glancing up at Stacey.
