The sky was a bright blue, the clouds were a soft grey color. The wind blew softly, but it was cold air. It blew the the right, then sometimes it changed course and blew to the left. KeKe walked down the road, passing all the stores, that were bright and open. She felt the warm air on her skin as people opened and closed the doors. It felt nice, but also burned her skin, facing warm air with the cold. Her hood was down, and the wind blew in her face. She wasn't mad, sad, jealous of anything. It was just one of those days you felt nothing but being happy.
Axel took a deep breath of the fresh brisk air, filling his lungs to his full capacity, and then slowly exhaled. He pulled his white fedora hat over his eyes, holding the top with his hand so the hat wouldn't go with the wind, and walked down the walk way of Hogsmead, looking about this new place to him. He had just arrived to Hogswarts the other day. Despite the few people he met, he still felt alone. He always felt alone. He always would. And while today was a day for happiness, he couldn't help but feel like being in a blah state.
He realized that he needed a drink. Something to numb this feeling or at least make an effort to take it away. He proceeded to a doorway. He had no idea what the bar was called, but he didn't really care. As he took a seat at the bar table on a red leather stool, he wondered what somebody would think of him. He was dressed in a long sleeve white dress shirt with a black vest and black pants. He liked to look good. He didn't even care to see what he got. He just got a glass of some electric green liquid and chugged it. He coughed as the liquid burned going down his throat.
"I'll..t-take another." He said between spasms.
She saw someone she met before. She just didn't know who it was. KeKe followed the guy into a bar, she could just tell by walking in the place that something wasn't right. Oh man, and that smell. It was terrible. She walked over to the guy and looked at him, "You shouldn't drink that. Trust me." She said to him.
When she said that alot of people that were in the bar looked her way.
((Brb. I'll post then.))
Another glass of the burning green liquid slid forth on the table before him. His hands grasped the sides, the glass cold. Odd. Axel took a deep breath as he brought the glass to his mouth, but paused when the rim came to his lips.
"You shouldn't drink that. Trust me."
He looked over to the girl and he smirked, his cheeks flushed.
"Why not?" He simply asked.
She laughed at him. "I guess, you haven't really looked around at this place." KeKe said to him. She pushed her bangs to the side of her face and smiled.
"Im KeKe, Keke Evans. Nice to meet you.....?"she said to him.
Axel gently set the glass on the counter and looked around casually. There were quite a few drunken men in the bar at this hour. What time was it? Perhaps it was noon. Such an odd time for fools to be in a bar. And they looked so..so...disgusting. It was as if they didn't care about their appearances whatsoever. He shook his head.
"My mind is in other places." He replied quietly. He pushed the glass away so as not to make the impression that he was just a drunken fool. His eyes, shadowed by his hat, watched her--looked her over.
"Axel Hampton." He replied, his expressions still hard but his tone gentle.
She looked at him and laughed, "Oh come on, you need to get out of here.....Axel"she said to him, and took his hand and draged him out of the bar. She zipped up her coat and looked at him.
Axel didn't have a say as to whether he wanted to leave this place or not, for the girl had dragged him out of the bar by his hand. When they got outside, he just looked at her.
"What are you doing?" He asked. "Why did I need out of there?"
KeKe looked at him, she rolled her eyes, "Just trust me."she said to him.
"Okay?"
"Okay." Axel said quietly, his hands forcing themselves into his pockets. He could feel the buzz from the funny drink but it was nothing compared to what he had done before. He drink to heal, but in the end he would only hurt more.
"What are you doing out here?" Axel asked. He looked around to see only a few people about the small town.
She looked at him, then looked down, "Ahhh, ummm...well....I just have been through alot. Needed to clear my mind."she said to him. KeKe was no longer smileing, and her eyes grew dark. She had been through alot, in the past year. Her brother, her parents. Just everything had gone wrong, they person that was after her. Hinding wasn't easy, and it wasn't fun, but it was her life now, and she needed to get use to it.
Axel noticed that the girl's smile had faded away.
"What's troubling you?" He asked. Axel too had been through a lot the last four years. Maybe he could relate in some ways. He wasn't sure. He'd normally be trying to make the girl smile, but this last week really brought him down.
"Would you like to get a drink?" He realized that he probably sounded like he meant alcohol. "Maybe a butterbeer or some tea?"
She looked at him, "Murder"she said to him, and then looked down, she could see the guys face. The person that was coming after her. She then looked back down and then back up at him for his offer.
"Suer, tea would be nice. Drinking will not solve the problems, just cover them up, and then make them bigger."she said to him.
"Alcohol, use to be my best friend. Not anymore"she said.
"Oh. Did you..kill somebody?" He asked, curious, but not trying to be pushy. He started walking towards the tea shoppe.
"I drink because I don't hurt when I do."
She looked at him, "Oh god no!"she said to him.
KeKe walked right besides him, "But, ive seen it."She added quitely.
She looked at him and laughed, "You could always try sex, to make you not hurt...."she said.
"Just kidding."
"I'm sorry. That's terrible...".
He laughed at her remark.
They had finally arrived at the shoppe. He held the door open for her.
KeKe just smiled at him, "Yeah, well....things happen in life"she said to him.
"Why, Thank you Mister Sir!"she said as she tipped her invisble hat to him, and walked through the door laughing.
He smirked and followed in after her. He took a seat at a booth as he picked up a menu.
"So many kinds of teas..." Axel said as he read the list.
She looked at him, "I know!"she said to him.
"Why can't they just have too types of teas? Sweet tea, and then just plan tea"
"Because Raspberry is the best." He said, grinning.
Axel took a small pill from his pocket and quickly swallowed it.
"Takes the effects of the alcohol away."
The waitress had arrived to their table, ready to place their order.
"I'll have a raspberry iced tea." Axel said. He looked at Keke and nodded for her to go ahead.
She looked at him, and rolled her eyes, "haha"she said to him.
She looked at the waitress, and then laughed, "Oh, okay sorry. Ahh, well lets see. How about sweet tea. Because thats the only kind i know about?"she said to her.
"Yeah, thanks."she added to the girl.
The waitress left and quickly returned with their tea's.
"Enjoy." She said before swiftly leaving to tend to another table.
Axel swirled his straw around in his drink, the ice hitting the glass. He then took a light sip.
KeKe sat their, and then looked up at him. Then back down. She started to mess around and was freazing her tea. Then unfreazing it. She didn't this over and over and over again.
It was fun, and she was using her elements she could controll.
"So you can control water?" Axel asked.
"I control fire."
She looked up at him, "Haha, yeeeah. I can also do wind. I don't know why. But I can. Waters fun thoughh"she sadi to him and laughed.
Axel laughed.
"Fire is good for roasting marshmallows."
She looked at him, "I lovee marshmallows!"she said to him and laughed.
"They're tasty."
Axel sipped his tea and smiled. It was the first time since he'd gotten to Hogwarts that he was actually enjoying himself. He was thankful for being taken out of that bar.
She looked at him, "Were going to make marshmallows, someday"she said to him
"Sounds good." He while smiling.
"I'll get some graham crackers and chocolate too. We'll have a s'more party."
Molly had now clue what was going on but she heard smores and perked up "ooh yum!!!!!!!! " She loved choclate "chocolate is my absolute fave!"
She laughed, and smiled. "Just no crayons."she said to him. KeKe laughed and then went to take a drink of her tea, but it was frozen. She sat it back down, and unfroze it. She laughed.
Her smile, turned upside down when she heard Molly.
((i love being mean to her...))
"Well thanks glad to see your back to your old self again" she said coldly. THen she turned to axel "So whats new with your life. Hows hte newbie routine comin along."
(yes we luv eacother right girlie)
She looked at Molly. Then at Axel, "Hey, im going to go. Talk to you later."she said as she got up.
She just looked at Molly, and then turned around, and left the building. She put up her hood as she walked outside and downt he road.
Axel looked at the drink that she left on the table and then laid the money down beside it. He then ran outside.
"Hey--." He started, but she was already gone.
"Go ahead, i dont care. Follow her whatever" she sat down and just started thinking about her project.
KeKe was all the way down then rode. Something about Molly, just ticked her off. But, whatever she thought. She just kept on walking down the rode, and then just stoped and sat down and laid there in the middle of the rode.
Axel sighed and went walking. He walked down the multiple walk ways and then down the road.
Some stupid girl was laying in the middle of it.
Only..the stupid girl was Keke.
"Keke! Get out of the road!" Axel called.
((thanks!))
She looked at him. "Im good, my lifes a screw up anyways. Its okay."she said to him.
Axel raised a brow and walked over to her, pulling her up by her arms.
"You act like a drunk yet you're more sober than I am."
He sighed.
"I'm not going to let you lay in the middle of the road."
Molly sighed at the absolute rudeness of keke and axel (no offense dudes). God why did she have to come back to this.
She looked at him, "Oh you mean, a car. Is going to come hit me in the wizard world....?"she said to him.
"Not necessarily." Said Axel.
She looked at him.
"Then what do you mean?"
Axel just shrugged.
"I don't know.I just hate to see you like this."
She looked at him, "Oookay?"
Axel just stood there.
"You're certainly an interesting one." He said, scratching his head.
She looked at him, "Whats that supposed to mean!!"she said to him. She looked at him, and then picked up a leaf.
"Back away! im not afraid to use it!"she said to him, and tried to hide a smile
(>^.^)>
Axel let out a laugh. He bent down to pick up a coin left in the road.
"Oh snap. We have ourselves a war!"
She looked at him, "Bring it! I use to play football with my brothers! Im not afarid of you!"she said to him and laughed.
KeKe threw the leaf at him, and then laughed, and ran away laughing.
Axel shook his head, smiling. He dropped the pebble and then chased after her. It wasn't much of a challenge, for he was a wolf animagus and was very agile. He ran nearly everyday. Within seconds, he was running right beside her.
She stoped and looked at him.
"40bb2..HUT!"she said and tackled him.
She then laid there, and laughed.
Axel grunted by the force of the tackle. The girl could really hit! He looked at her as he laid on the ground and had to laugh too.
She looked at him, and smiled.
"You likeed itt"she said to him.
Axel didn't say anything. Instead he just grinned.
She looked at him, "What?", she said to him and laughed. She pushed her bangs out of her eyes.
"Tell me"
Axel just shook his head and shrugged.
KeKe looked at him, "Don't make me slap you"she said, "Trust me, I will do it"
"Then go ahead." He said, grinning.
KeKe looked at him, and stuck out her tounge, then looked up at the sky.
"You're cute when you do that." Axel said, looking at her. Now here they both were, still in the middle of the road. And he had been tackled by a girl.
(........?)
She looked at him.
((XD))
Axel laughed and stood up.
"I'll see you later." He said quickly and started walking towards the school, adjusting his hat.
(What!?! ahhh im sooo confused!)
KeKe looked at him, and nodded, "Okay?"
She got up and then walked back up to the Gryiffindor commonroom. She went up to her room, and changed into her Quidittich, stuff. She grabed her broom, and went off to practice.
((He basically hit on her. Normally, he'd have done that in the beginning, but due to his crappy mood from his first week, he's a bit slow. But yeah, he walked away because for once, he felt embarrassed.))
(ahhhh, i see i see. I get it now. Thanks for explaining it!)
((Good job!))
Axel slapped himself in the face when he was approaching the school doors. He probably made a complete idiot of himself. He shrugged it off. There were a lot of girls in the school. Why start hitting on people now anyway?
KeKe, walked down the long hall way. She pulled her hair up, in a ponytail, and opend the doors. When she opend the doors, the wind blew in her face. She looked up, and saw Axel standing there, and she rolled her eyes, and then walked past him bumping his shoulder as she walked by.
She headed off to the Quidittch pitch for practice.
Just as Axel went to reach for the handle to open the doors, it had opened and Keke walked out, dressed for her practice. He watched as she rolled her eyes and then bumped into him. He felt a little confused. Did he really say the wrong thing? He took off his hat and ran his hand through his long spikey hair before entering the castle.
As she walked on she said something out loud.
"A hi wouldve been nice..."
Axel smirked as he heard her voice before closing the door. He stopped and walked back out.
"Well maybe an apology for running into me would have been nicer!" He said back.
She turned around, "If you want and freakin apology, come get one."she said then turned around and started walking again.
"Have it your way then.." Axel muttered to himself. Within minutes, there was a black wolf walking beside Keke.
She looked at him, and sighed.
Axel looked up at her and whined.
keke looked at him, "It would be alot better, if I could talk to you face to face. Not face to nose" she said to him.
Axel looked at her for a moment, his eyes slightly squinted, before changing back.
"Gosh, you're rather demanding." He said.
KeKe looked at him, then ahead, "Im sorrry?"
"Are you mad at me..?" Axel asked, walking beside her while looking at her.
She looked at him, "Noooo...."she said to him.
"Why are you acting so different? I'm sorry if what I said before offended you. I was just trying to complement you.."
They where at the Quicittch pitch she got onto her broom, "Nopee" she said to him, and the flew up to the hoops
Axel watched as she kicked off and sighed. He slowly wandered to the stands and took a seat at the very top, more focused on the clouds than anything else.
Keke blocked the balls from going into the hoop. She missed some but also blocked some. That is how it was. You miss some but then you make some.
From time to time, Axel would watch Keke make some of the hoops and miss some of them.
"You're pretty good." He said, raising his tone so she could hear.
She couldn't hear him and when she looked at him and mouthed 'what?' a blugger came and hit her. It knocked her down an she fell off her broom. She then hit the ground after falling over a hunderd feet
"d**n!" Axel said as he jumped out of his seat and started running, or more like jumping, down the benches until he was at the bottom. He ran to her and knelt down beside her.
"Keke! Are you alright? Can you hear me?" He asked as he looked at her, looking for wounds.
She sat up. "i'm fine I'm fine, that's happens before"
Axel jumped back a little. The girl took hits well he could see.
"That's..er...good. Glad to see you're not dead."
She looked at him"yeahh well you get use to it after awhile". She said to him it didn't hurt her anymore like it use to, but she would have a brusie.
(I am on my iPod, so I have to go. Ttyl)
"I guess so." Said Axel, standing back up. He wondered why he was here. Was she expecting him to talk? To leave? Or to just wait? He didn't know.
"So what would you say if I told you that I have never played Quidditch?" Axel asked, looking around the field, his hand shielding his eyes from the bright sunlight.
KeKe looked at him, "I would say your crazy"she said to him.
"Crazy huh? Really?" He laughed quietly to himself.
"And if I said I thought the sport was rubbish?" Axel added as he grinned.
She looked at him, "Then, I would say your are stupid, and don't know what you are talking about. If you don't like it, leave."She said to him then got up.
Axel waved his hands gently. "Now, now. I said if I thought it was rubbish." He sighed.
"Are you pissed off or just bi-polar?" Axel asked after a moment.
She looked at him, "I said 'if' " she said in a copying voise. After a minutes she looked at him, "NO!"
Axel just looked at her. Without a word, he put his hands in his pockets and slowly began walking out of the stadium. She obviously wasn't in the mood. Or maybe she just didn't want him here.
She watched him go, and just sat there. She didn't care at momment.
As he got to the end of the stadium, he turned half way towards her and said "If you feel like being nice later, maybe we can roast those marshmallows", before continuing walking.
She stood up and then yelled, "WHERE JUST FRIENDS! THATS ALL WE WILL EVER BE! bye!"she said to him then got on her broom.
Wow. Thought Axel. He made one compliment. He didn't think this would happen out of it. He shook his head, a little hurt in a way, and went back to the school. If they were just friends, then why would she treat him like he was nothing? Friends don't do that. They got along fairly well in Hogsmead. Okay. So maybe he shouldn't have said that she was cute. "Way to go Axel!" He said quietly to himself.
When Quidittch was over KeKe walked back to the school. She sent her broom back along time ago. For awhile she just sat there. She did nothing. When she was on her way walking home. She took the long way just to pass and get ride of time. When she was on her way waling home. She had the feeling someone was watching her. Hiding in the trees somewhere, if it was him. Not Axel, but the murder. She wanted him to get her now. TO save her some pain, but that never happend.
She then got back to the Gryfindor commonroom, and she went up to her room. KeKe changed into her shorts, and a sweatshirt.
Axel was on the couch, dressed in a hoodie and jeans, not really sleeping, but just laying there staring at the ceiling. He had nothing better to really do. Nobody to hang out with. No lessons. Nothing. He sighed deeply, so much in thought, he didn't hear Keke come in. He sighed again. He craved a drink.
She walked down staires, and took a book off the self, and sat down on the window seal, with it.
