(ONLY RULE: THE POST HAS TO BE LONG.....SOMEWHERE BETWEEN TWO SENTENCES AND A NOVEL)
Lavy sat up sweating. She looked around the dark room, expecting to see someone coming at her but there was nothing. Just the dying fire off to the side and five other sleeping girls in the room. She sighed, annoyed at herself. But at least she hadn't woken up screaming again. That would be emberssing.
She swung her legs over the edge of and reached for the glass of water the was sitting on her night stand. She drank the whole thing, poured another and drank that one as well. She looked down at her watch. Four thirty seven in the morning. She rubbed her eyes and got dressed in record time.
She went about her business, doing a quick bed check. She noticed a few people missing and noted it.
She was about to start checking the boys rooms when she heard talking coming from the common room and changed her direction. Lavy walked down the steps silently, hoping not to startle whoever was down there.
((Ah! You finally show up! YaY!))
Stacey stared at the fire angrily, her eyes bright red. Her palms were out, face up, and her fingers were twitching, a clear sign that she was controlling the fire. She blinked furiously, then her face went blank as she heard the footsteps on the stairs. She quickly let the fire fall to its own state and turned and fell on the couch casually.
As she flipped her hair over her shoulder, she smiled. "Hey Lavy! Haven`t seen you around for a while." Her eyes flickered brown, her "natural" eye color. "Thought mabey you made a break from this house `o loons." She greeted sarcastically.
Lavy was one of her favorite people here at the school, and she could really talk to her about her powers.
(I know been really busy with school lately lol)
Lavy smiled warmly, glad to see it wasn't a some first year that was going to have to yell at for not being in bed. Coming and going from school like she had been was really starting to take it's toll. She always felt on edge and her nightmares were getting worse. So it was nice to see a familiar, friendly face greet her.
"Playing with fire.....again at the butt crack of dawn? Praticing for something I should know about, Stace?"
She said with a small laugh. She knew Stacey hated when she called her that, which is why she did it. She walked down the rest of the steps and across the room so that she was standing between Stacey and the fire.
Stacey smiled, but wrinkled her nose when Lavy called her Stace. "Yea, playing with fire is what I do best." She smirked, not mentioning the fact that her powers had been changing a lot lately, and she seemed to be able to use air sometimes.
And it wasn`t unsual for Stacey to be up early in the morning; Lavy knew well how hard it was to sleep when voices talked non stop in your head. Her eyes finally changed to brown, slowly. She hardly noticed the transition, too used to their constont changing to worry too much about them.
(Don't know where this RP is going yet so I'm winging it, lol)
Lavy sat down next to her and stretched. She was planning on going around the school to make sure everything was in order but she would rather talk to Stacey, "What have you been up to lately kiddo? it's been a few weeks." She pulled the hair tie that was on her wrist off and put her hair in a messy ponytail. She chuckled a little, remembering the time when Neo had pleaded with her, successfully, to not cut it off.....
"Please don't cut it off Lavy. It's so much nicer when it's long." He had ran his fingers all the way to the ends and then let them fall.
She had rolled her eyes at him, "You've never seen it short, it's been this long forever."
"I know. And it suits you."
"But it's always getting me into trouble. People keep grabbing at it when I'm running away from them."
He had smiled a sly little smile at that moment, "Hmmmm.....well it's that why God invented the ponytail?"
She sighed, "You win. I can't argue with you when you look at me like that...."
Stacey shrugged with a small smile and made a point of putting her left hand on her knee, making her diamond ring clearly visable. It had been a few weeks, and Stacey didn`t know if Lavy had known she was engaged to Aiden or not.
She wasn`t too worried about her freaking out at her, either. Most people had just accepted the fact that Stacey would be getting married at seventeen, but some people had strong opinions. She knew that she was making the right choice, the hollow feeling in her stomach just proved that.
Lavy's eye caught the glimmer of the ring and she knew. She wasn't surprised. She had known for a long time that Stacey and Aiden were getting to that point. And she wasn't angry. Only slightly disappointed and maybe a little saddened. She knew what it was like to be in love and to be loved back. And she knew that under the right, or was it wrong, set of circumstances, it could all go so wrong.
*Lavy pushed Neo away from her, "Don't touch me." She said simply and turn away. She was reaching for the door handle when she felt a sharp, painful tug at her head and the next minute she was on the ground. She looked up at him, "Do you really want to test me...." Her voice was like posion.
His eyes answerd her question....they were blood red. He was ready....*
"I really wish you would wait a little...not to make sure this is what you want. I know you know this is what you want. Just until your completely out of school and get your footing at work and all... seven or eight months. You would be suprised what a few little disagreement and lead to."
Stacey sighed softly and looked down at her hands. She knew Lavy would say something like this.
"I know. Believe me, I`ve heard many arguments against this. But... I know. I just know. Whenever I`m away from him, for any lenght of time, I just feel hollow-- like part of me is missing. Which it is, essentially." She looked back to Lavy, feeling guilty for some reason.
"The biggest thing we`ve argued about is who`s turn it is to pick where we eat. There is nothing... bad about him. I guess I`m lucky, I`ve found him early in my life. It just feels so... perfect... when we`re together." She tried to explain as best as she could. It wasn`t easy to explain the way she felt about Aiden.
"I wont say your making a mistake. I don't think you are. We both know that you two belong together. I just don't see why you have to start planning so soon while your still in school...."
*Lavy looked behind her, hearing the commotion going to behind her. She stepped onto the subway platform.
"Excuse me....coming though.... excuse me.... oh, I'm sorry....excuse me." She saw a man coming towards her, pushing pass the crowd. He was tall with dark hair. He was wearing street cloths under a long, black, heavy cloak. Wizard for sure.
"Excuse me miss..." He said coming right up to her and stopping. He was an American by his accent.
"Yes?"
"You dropped this." He held out her phone.
"Oh, thank you," She said with a sigh of relief, "Mr...?"
"Please, just call me Neo, Everyone else does."*
"I just want you to have all your ducks in a row is all. And I really honestly think that finishing school would be best. You don't have that long left. Young isn't what I'm getting at here, although you are. I just want you to have a plan and be well on your way before you get married."
Stacey had to force her mind to close to prevent Lavy`s memories from entering her mind. She was almost positive that Lavy wasn`t remembering things ferher benefit.
"I am going to finish school." She assured quickly. "My parents requested that, even though I knew that was how it would have to be. And I`ve already been offered jobs at various places, not that either of us would need jobs." Her voice trailed off. She didn`t know if Lavy knew of her family riches or not. She hoped it hadn`t been obvious.
*They sat on opposite sides of the bed looking at each other.
"I don't think I like this idea, anymore...."
"Oh come on Lavy. The bed is big enough for the both of us." Neo said rolling his eyes.
"Do you kick, or snore, or hog all the covers, or--"
"No, no, and no. And no to your next question."
Lavy slipped under the covers and laid down on her side of the bed and watched his as he did the same, "Alright but if you roll on top of me I'm going to put a spell on you. Something uncomfortable."
"Sure you are..." He said with a wink. He switched off the light.*
Lavy ignored Stacey's slip about her money. She already knew and it would have been in poor taste to mention it anyways, "Well that's good. But if you don't go to work what do you want to do all day long. I can't really picture you as a house wife, I'm not going to lie. You have far more potential. And besides. I think you would go crazy, stuck in a house all day."
Stacey laughed. "I know. Ihate being inside all of the time. I think that was partially why I was gifted with fire; without it I would have to suffer through the stupid winter." She beamed at Lavy. "I`ll figure something out when I need to. I believe I`ll be busy enough getting things set up."
She didn`t know if Lavy knew about her and Aiden`s house that he had strongly insisted on buying. It seemed like an obvious thing to Stacey, but mabey not other people.
* "Are you sure you want to do this?" Neo asked her through the door.
Lavy opened the door and though her arms around his neck.
"I thought I wasn't suppose to see the dress until you walk down to the alter." He said, shutting his eyes.
"I don't care anymore. Everyone keeps saying so many different things I can't keep it straight anymore. All I know is that I want to marry you. I want to be with you forever."
Neo kissed her and then pulled away still not opening his eyes, "Then I guess I'll be seeing you in a few minutes," He said with a grin. He turned and waled away down the steps.*
Lavy sighed, "I really wish you would reconsider. Marriage is not as easy as people think it is. Especially if you share living space. When your dating you can take a break from each other if you're mad. Go away for a few days and cool off. You can't do that as easily when your married."
Stacey closed her eyes and shook her head back and forth slowy, unable to keep Lavy`s strong memories from invading her own mind. She saw the scene as clear as Lavy would have when it was happening.
"I know, Lavy. But I`ve never had a real argument with Aiden. We`ve never gotten tired of each other. It`s just... hard to even think about not being with him for any length of time." She shook her head again.
"I can`t just drop him like that. We`ve waited over two years for me to finish school, he can`t wait any more. I can`t wait any more." When she opened her eyes, they were grey and her expression was full of truth.
"You would be surprised to see how quickly those sweet things turn into something that makes you want to kill him."
Ginny seemed to come from nowhere, but she had, in all actuality, used the portrait hole as any normal person would. She had Cody with her, following closely behind, and in her arms she carried a small bundle. It was early, yes. Dawn had only just started.
But she had been asked to be at the school and hadn't been able to figure a better time to show off the newest addition to her small family.
Cody was rubbing his eyes as he sleepily went to a chair and plopped down in it, curling up and falling back to sleep. His mom had dragged him out of bed to go with her because his dad needed some sleep. He was so out of it he hardly even saw Lavy or Stacey. It was seconds later the small five year old was out.
Ginny walked over to the couch where Lavy and Stacey sat, settling herself on the arm, still cuddling the sleeping Meliody in her arms as she smiled. She was older than both the girls before her, but she thought of both of them as friends. In fact, both had been her trouble students when she taught them. Pains in her butt. But that was why she liked them. She smiled softly at both of them, "I assume we are talking about guys and marriage, right?"
She wasn't at the school a lot. But she knew everything that happened there. It had been her job for so long that she couldn't get out of the habit of being the nosy teacher. She grinned cheekily at them both, knowing they could possibly be a little irritated at her interruption.
Stacey jerked her head towards the new voice that she had learned to recognize after seven years of school. She smiled widely at by far the bast teacher at Hogwarts she had ever had.
"Yeah, guys and mariage." She said, sensing her eyes lightening slightly. But then her smile fell. She didn`t like what Ginny had said. It seemed like Lavy and Ginny were both against her marriage; she knew they meant well, but she couldn`t help but get defensive.
"I couldn`t kill him. Killing him would be like killing part of myself." She defined softly. Ginny`s presence was demanding once she was decided to be present. It had always made Stacey feel slightly intimidated. "Really, I think I would have to be going crazy, literally, before I could even make a move against him." She knew both Lavy and Ginny had had bad marriages, but this was different. It had to be.
"No, it's not different." She hadn't been held in high esteem in the psychic community for no reason. Ginny smiled tightly, "The fact that you have yet to have an argument is a bad sign. The fact that you feel that way...is a bad sign." She held Stacey's eyes for a long moment.
"Anyway, I didn't say you would kill him. I said you'd want to. Inevitable in any marriage at some point. For example, my husband is very protective of me. Very sweet of him, wouldn't you agree?"
Ginny smiled, knowing that the way she looked at the moment was the envision of someone needing protection. A small, young, pretty mother holding her few months old baby. But if anyone knew anything about Ginny, it was that she needed little protection.
"However, there are times in which I wish to smash his beautiful angelic face off a brick wall because he's being, in my opinion, over protective." She said the harsh, violent words so mildly, so without malice that there was no doubt she was sincere.
"And sometimes he gets this silly look on his face as if he's afraid to touch me or the children for fear we will break or something stupid like that. Honestly, at moments like that I get so angry at his stupidity that I wish to kill him and be done with it."
She grinned, "The proof that I love him is that I don't act on my impulse and move to harm him. Anyway, my ex husband was a different story. Originally a match made in Heaven. We agreed on most everything, got along wonderfully..."
It seemed there was a point to her soft rambling. Ginny's ex-husband had attempted to kill her, had hit her, and had only stopped chasing her when she had turned around and fought back, sparing his life only because a friend asked her to. There was no way for Stacey to know this unless someone had told her the story. But Ginny had a feeling someone had.
"At any rate, all I'm saying is it would be better in the long run to not marry him for a few more years. Live with him if you wish, act out the married life. Just don't actually tie the knot..not yet. It takes so little time for people to change..." Ginny refused to let her memory drift her away. She kept her eyes rooted on Stacey until the baby in her arms began to wake with small sighs.
Ginny's look changed from a tight controlled smile to one of dazzling brilliance as she suddenly leaned over the bundle in her arms and cooed to the now awake baby.
"Hello Meliody, my sweet darling, I see you are waking, lovey. Did you sleep well little Meliody?"
Stacey just watched Ginny unblinking as she spoke most of her words. Only as she forced the memory to stay in her mind did she wince. Ginny would have known that Stacey would have absorbed both her`s and Lavy`s ability to read minds, so she would know that Stacey would see the things Ginny thought.
But when you weren`t with your first husband, while you were still married, did you ever feel like a part of you was missing? I mean, yeah, Aiden can be annoying to Hell and back, but I haven`t strangled him yet. She thought her words now. Partially because she realized speaking outloud was easier, but it kept the words from the wakingbaby`s ears. She didn`t know if Cody wuld hear her, he was alseep, but he was also smart.
Lavy forced her mind to stay in the present this time. She knew her mind had been wondering and she figured that Stacey had seen most if not all of them but with Ginny's children in the room she forced her mind away from them. Cody at least was old enough now to pick up on her subtle unchecked brain activity. She sighed,
"Yet is a problem. The longer your with someone the more you should argue. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact it's really healthy. When you get past the arguments it's really brings you closer. Your first disagreement is not going to be pretty I can tell you. Not this far into the relationship. It's going to be really ugly, really..."
She paused again, "Just because you miss someone does not mean you should be with them. That's what people don't ever understand. Just because you love someone and they have some small part of you does not mean you need or have to stay with them."
Stacey sighed. She did need him and she had to be with him. Her mother had taken her away from the school, away from magic, and away from Aiden. Within two days of not seeing Aiden she had gotten terribly sick. She hardly moved until her Muggle cousin brought her back to the school.
"I do need to stay with him." She said defiantly. She forced the memories of her time at home into her mind, but pulled her thoughts from the two children. She remembered the sick feeling in her stomach, how she couldn`t eat anything. She couldn`t sleep either, and she could only think about Aiden. It had been a miserable time, and she had felt better the second she came back to Hogwarts.
"That's borderline obsession," Lavy snapped and then immediately felt bad for saying it, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. It was really rude. I just don't think that you've understood the difference between need and want, which is one of my main concerns about this marriage
"Anyone who feels that that they need something become so attached that it's hard to get out. If, and I stress the if, something was to ever happen, I just am not comfortable with the idea that you might stay because you feel you need him. It's really far to easy to fall into the patteren of forgiveness."
There is nothing to forgive him for! She yelled this in her mind so she wouldn`t wake Cody or upset Meliody. He has done nothing to upset me. And you were right to say that; I am obsessed with him. But he is obsessed with me. We both think the other is the greatest thing that`s happened since air! These thoughts were more quite and not so forcefull, but there was strenght and truth behind her words.
I don`t think I could live without him. She admitted. He is what I need, what I want, and everything I could ever want. She looked back and forth from Lavy to Ginny.

Ginny slowly stood up, a better position for rocking her youngest child back to sleep. She spoke softly, her eyes on her baby's perfect little face, but her words were for Stacey.
"When I was still married to Conan, I worshiped the ground he walked on. I loved everything about him...his eyes, his hair, his smile, his personality...and he worshiped me the same." She glanced up for a second, her eyebrows raised as if the thought still surprised her after all these years, "We almost never fought. At least not over anything important. Silly, goofy differences of opinion, but never more than a grin away from forgetting the whole thing...and when we were apart, each of us pinned for the other like love sick kids."
Ginny sighed, relaxing her shoulders once Meliody's eyes closed. She continued to rock the child, but her eyes now concentrated on Stacey.
"Because that's exactly what we were. Lovesick kids." She shook her head slowly, somehow able to keep her body and voice relaxed and quiet.
"Marrying Conan Sulai was the worst of many mistakes I made in my life. I loved him, I adored him, I needed him. It was unhealthy, it was sick, it was...disturbing if I recall the words my brother used at one point. But it's what I wanted, what I needed. And I had thought I was right. That because I wanted it, needed it so badly, the whole thing would work. And I thought he and I were happy..."
Here Ginny shrugged, moving her eyes from Stacey to the wall beyond her as a faraway smile twitched at her lips. It wasn't a happy smile. It was the kind of smile one uses in order to keep the rest of one's feelings in check.
"Until he tried to kill me. And despite what I wanted, what I needed, I was forced to divorce him and I had an actual physical pain because of it. It actually physically hurt." She took a breath, forcibly calming herself. Both children had inherited their father's amazing empathic abilities, and were she to get too upset they would feel it.
Cody stirred in his sleep, frowning deeply as the emotions in the room seemed to hit him all at once. She stared almost unblinkingly at her five year old son before letting out a slow breath. She looked back at Stacey and Lavy with a clear cut expression of worry, "At the moment, you do need and want Aiden more than anything. I have no doubt about your feelings for him. But strong feelings are as much of a curse as a blessing until you are old enough to control them...I'm not saying you shouldn't ever marry Aiden. He's a nice boy, and I can see why you like him..."
"I'm just saying I think you should wait to do something so very drastic."
Then Ginny smiled, "I know you think I'm an old busybody. And I maybe am. But I have seen more of the world and more of the time stream than any other living human being. And from my experience, giving away a part of your soul and tying it to someone else is something that should be done with extreme caution.
"Extream caution isn't the right word, Ginny, "Lavy said in a light tone. She noticed when Cody had stirred as well and she knew why. Emotions were being to run high for all three of them, "Marriage should be as difficult to do as it is to get something done at the DMV. Near impossible. To many people walk into thinking that the one they are marrying have a few insignificant flaws and leave wishing that had never though such foolish things.
"It should come with a warning label, skulls, crossbones and the works. We're not simply talking from our own experiences Stacey. You have to understand that. We've both seen more then just our own marriages fall appart, "She paused and chuckled. She actually was still married to Neo. But for the time being that was only on paper.
"There are worse things out their then an abusive husband or a power hungry one. There are the ones that get under your skin. Into your mind. The ones that could have to stand on your head and sing the French nation anthem for three hours. Those are the ones you never see coming until it's far to late."
She looked up at Ginny and this time she outright laughed, "We both thought our lives would be near perfect. And I would bet that Neo and Conan thought the same..." She stopped laughing, "And then we got married And it all went so wrong. It was so slow I didn't even notice the change until it was done."
Stacey look down at the floor as Ginny and Lavy`s words sank in. Her eyes flashed dark blue, but she held back all of the tears that seemed to come so easily in the past. She thought a long time before responding.
"I don`t worship the ground he walks on, he doesn`t worship the ground I walk on. We understand each other fully, almost to a point where Aiden can tell what I`m thinking, even though he can`t read minds."
She looked up to meet the other`s eyes. "And thanks to you two," Her eyes twinkled as she spoke, "I`m know I`m much more powerful than him." Her expression was perfectly serious. "I know that he could never overpower me unless I was at my weakest. Which isn`t very often."
The corner's of Ginny's mouth twitched upward. She said nothing, guarding her thoughts against everyone in the room and reeling in her feelings behind a wall of fake emotions. She thought back to a time when she had been stronger than Conan. It hadn't been hard, he'd been a normal muggle boy when they first met. But he had been presented with powers upon becoming a Time Official.
He had excelled at the physical aspects, and when they had found out about power stones, he had been able to overpower Ginny. He now wore a piece of the broken power stone around his neck to keep her from killing him.
She hid these thoughts, these things no one knew and nodded at Stacey, "Just remember that we did try to pass on our wisdom to you."
She smiled slightly, glancing out the window as the sun slowly creeped up. It was still too early to go talk to the teachers she had appointments with,
Stacey nodded, feeling the mental block Ginny presented. She didn`t even try to get through it. It would have been rude, if she could get through it anyway, which she doubted.
She couldn`t help but smile. "He doesn`t believe in himself at all. He looks at me like I know everything, but thinks of himself as a person with common powers. I don`t think he would be physically able to take powers strong enough to harm me." She said, still grinning like an idiot.
Lavy sighed long and hard. She knew this conversation for now was closed but she didn't want it to be. She wanted to keep trying. But she knew. She knew how it was. Being in love and loved back. Most of your good logical bases were tossed out the window. So she pushed the conversation away from the topic of men.
"Who is it that you need to talk to Ginny?" She asked standing up and walking over to Cody. She pulled the blanket that was on the neighboring couch over to Cody and laid it across his small curled up body.
"Why, your wonderful and fully functional Headmaster." The sarcasm was so thick here one could have cut it with a knife. Ginny made a face, but it was playful. The current Headmaster was stupid man, but she felt no real hate for him. She sighed, shaking her head.
"He's going to want me to come back to teach again next year."
At the beginning of the year, she and the Head had fought over everything. Her unorthodox teaching style has scared him. But he had come to his senses when all of her fifth year students had passed the O.W.L.s with flying colours.
Gnny wasn't sure if she wanted to go back to work just yet. She didn't have to. Between her savings and Xaver's vast fortune, money wouldn't ever be a problem. And to think, she'd grown up in one of the poorest families around.
So it wasn't the money that was making this a difficult decision.
One reason was in her arms, the other on the chair across the room. Ginny knew that caring for them would be hectic once Meliody got a bit older. She couldn't rely on her parents too much, and Xaver sometimes had to go away for days or weeks to get things done in his home kingdom.
Ginny was no longer sure how much longer their family could play this game of being stretched.
Ginny's emotional and mental block didn't budge, but her face betrayed the emotion. She loved teaching. She loved her family more.
Lavy smiled at Ginny's first comment. She knew all to well what she was talking about. The only reason the Headmaster had let her stay was because technically, she was a minor and therefore had to be in school. Not like she ever went to class anymore. She only showed up for test now so that she could get the grade. And she always passed with flying colors.
It was her second comment that gave her pause. Her she also knew what Ginny was talking about. She knew her reluctance to be away from her children. Ginny had always been that way about the one's she loved most. She didn't even need to see her or hear her thoughts to know how she felt at that moment.
"I know you might not like this idea but I'm going to offer it anyways. I'm willing to take up Aunt Lavy duties if you would allow me to. I need a distraction and there's no better one then two small childeren. I hardly do anything worth any effort these days and you know how I feel about both Cody and Meliody. And don't say you don't want to impose because you wouldn't be."
Ginny smiled tightly, "I honestly don't think you'd be able to handle them at their worst."
She wasn't being a jerk about Lavy's powers. But she had taught Lavy, had seen the girls powers. And she had given birth to her children. No one was sure how many of their parents powers they possessed. Cody already exhibited signs of full grown wizarding and Fallen powers. The combination was scary and at the same time awe worthy.
"They are generally wonderfully well behaved. But if Melidoy is anything like her brother, she is going to begin to experiment with some of her powers soon...and Cody is simply bursting when he comes home from school. Temper tantrums are more common for Cody these days, and there are few ways to control him. I honestly think the only reason he hasn't attempted to blast something apart is because he's afraid of his father's reaction. He knows just what to say to make you cry, the little bugger, and he doesn't even use telepathy to do it."
Ginny's eyes rested on Cody's sleeping form. With his wings in their vanished state, his eyes closed and his mouth shut, he looked wonderfully angelic. His wispy black hair needed cut badly, strands rested on his pale cheek. His jaw tightened, and Ginny knew he was having a bad dream suddenly.
He took after she and Xaver.
"I don't know how much longer we will be here anyway."
Lavy stood back up, "I think your underestimating what Neo taught me, Ginny. I'm not saying that I could win in a fight with you are Xaver or even Cody, although I can't imagine why he and I would ever fight. But I can promise you that if I actually put some effort into it it would be a draw between you and I at least..."
She shrugged very nonchalantly, "But he's your child not mine and you make have to make the decisions. But you know I'm always here and capable of handling my own if you ever needed a moment or two away from the rug rats," She said this with a smile, "Just send them straight to me..." She picked up on a barley noticeable tremor in Cody's thoughts. Nightmares? Already? She half smiled. He really was Ginny's son.
"Seems he got more then just your powers then," She said, more to herself then to Ginny, "Does Melidoy get them to," Lavy asked tunring her eyes back to Ginny.
"No. She hasn't seen the horrors of life yet."
Ginny cuddled the baby closer to her, her sad eyes staying on her son across the room. Her little boy had gone through so very much in the past two years. Taken by the Ministry, taken back, his father coming home, his uncle threatening his life, Mahn, the adjoining country to Xav's sending 'messengers' to warn them, the Ministry trying to force them to leave England, his parents marriage, his baby sister being born. Cody was one touch little cookie by now.
Made tougher by the fact that he understood and comprehending everything. He had nightmares about his Uncle Xences, the Cats, Mahn. The rest of his nightmares were regular childish things, tainted with only a slight variation. Cody's dreams were always true fears, things that could honestly happen to him or his loved ones.
Ginny sighed then, tearing her eyes away from the form of her sleeping son and out the window, Somehow, her arms never tired of holding the baby, her legs never shook from standing so long. Ginny had strength and endurance far outlasting that or normal people. Soon, however, both children would wake up and Meliody would be passed around for everyone to "ohh" and "aww" over.
She liked the quiet moments like this.
