((CLOSED. CLOSED. CLOSED.))
Stacey sighed. It had been a wonderful day and night, and her face was still full of excitement. Today she had married Aiden. She was not Stacey black any more. She was Stacey Gray.
Mrs. Stacey Gray. Married to Aiden Gray.
She giggled as that thoughts hit her. The fact that she was now married was still fresh and bubbly in her mind. It made her giddy just to remember today`s events.
"Hey," She greeted, walking back over to her husband. Husband. That made her smile, but she held back the giggles. She had changed from her beautiful wedding dress into a somple dress. It looked much like a bath towel that she had wrapped around herself, but longer. It was a soft black color. She had gotten rid of her pearls in exchange for some black diamonds, and she had let her hair out. It was now in curls around her shoulders.
"So, tell me... where is this fine place we`re going for our honeymoon. You`ve kept me waiting for what, three years now? Do I have to wait until we get there?" She met Aiden now, and laced her hands through his. She gave him a dazzling smile. The dim lights made her sparkle, even though she already was.
They were standing in the remains of their reception party. Everyone had left except for her parents, who were standing on the opposite side of the large room talking quietly to each other.
Stacey had pretty much avoided her mother all day. Shewas too happy to be angered by her mother`s nagging. It was her day, and she wouldn`t let anyone ruin it. But now it was time to go, she just didn`t know where.
Aiden smiled as he looked at Stacey. He now wore a nice suit, different then the one he wore at the actual wedding. He squeezed Stacey's hand and looked at the near empty room. Little less than a few hours ago this room was packed beyond belief with guests. It seemed weird to have to look so empty.
Aiden looked at Stacey's parents. He didn't have an parents to invite, but his uncle was here earlier. It has been ages since he had seen the man who had raised him since his early childhood and it was nice to see him again. He was like a father to him. Aiden turned his attention to Stacey and grinned widely.
"Would you really like to know or would you rather it be a suprise?" He asked with a cheerful edge to his tone.
Stacey pretended to think for a moment, still smiling. "Well, I would really like to know now, me being naturally curius and all," She nodded at Aiden as if she were discussing something greatly important, "But, I think it would be more of a surprise if you make me wait." She decided."
She grinned and kissed him again, sighing softly. To any other person, very little had actually happened today. Weddings happened every weekend, every day. Nothing separated Stacey and Aiden`s from any other couple. But to Stacey and Aiden, it was the beggining of so much.
They were actually married now. Married. Most people who didn`t know them thought that they were too young to be married, but they knew that it was the perfect time, if not late. They loved each other and they knew it.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders. "Well..if thats what you want to do. I wouldn't have told you anyway." He said with a large smile. He wrapped his arms around Stacey in a hug quick, tight hug.
Aiden stepped back, and examined the dress that Stacey wore. He raised en eyebrow. "I must say that the dress you are wearing looks great." He pointed out.
Stacey grinned. "Oh, this old thing?" She asked, twirling around. "And you would to have told me. After all, I`m so persuading." She teased, puckering her bottom lip out. She swished back and forth like a little girl.
She smiled and stopped twirling. "Anyway, shouldn`t we get going? I mean, I don`t know how far away it is, but it is kinda late." She said, nodding to herself.
Aiden smiled, and took her hand. He lifted it up to kiss her palm. "Yes m'am. I think we should." He said. He began to walk towards the door.
Mostly everyone was gone so except a few guests and Stacey's parents. He turned to Stacey. "Don't you want to say goodbye first?" He whispered in her ear/
Stacey shrugged her shoulders, then shook her head. "Nah, we`re supposed to be leaving anyway, so they should be expecting us to disappear." She winked, then pulled him towards the door. She took one glance back towards her parents, and saw her father meet her eyes.
She smiled and blew him a kiss. He smiled and nodded. She returned the smile, then turned back to Aiden.
Aiden squeezed her hand, and smiled at her as she looked at him. "Alright. If your sure..." He told her as he lead her towards the door.
So many things had happened in such a very short amount of time. The day wasn't even over yet. It still hadn't even hit him that all these things were real.
Stacey smiled and squeezed Aiden`s hand. As they walked outside, the cool air hit them. It was spring, but it still got chilly at night. "So, are there big plans for the days to come?" She asked, just making conversation.
She didn`t need to, but she had spent enoguh time away from Aiden lately. Last night she had barely had time to say goodnight before Leah had dragged her away.
Aiden held her hand as they walked out into the night air. He led her down the stairs and towards a sleek, black limo. He opened the door for her.
"There sure are. Plenty." He said with a large smile. As Stacey got inside, he scooted in after her. "I sure wish I got to see you last night though." He pointed out with another amused smile.
Stacey smiled and took Aiden`s hand again. "Nice limo." She commented. She wanted to know what the big plans were, but she knew she wouldn`t get them out of him now. "And you wouldn`t have had a chance against Leah." She smirked.
Leah, her vampire friend and bridesmaid. She had been the first person Stacey asked to be a bridesmaid. It had been extremely easy to find the dress for her, but harder to pick which one was best.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders. He put one arm around Stacey's shoulder. "I could've just snuck through a window." He told Stacey with a bright smile.
The limo was long, and it was accommodated with drinks, and food.
Stacey smiled and leaned forward towards a small bar of drinks. It had both Muggle and Wizard drinks there. "You want anything?" She asked, pulling out a butterbeer for herself.
"And no, you couldn`t have. Leah would have smelled you if you got within two miles of the house. Or heard you. Or read your mind. Or any other of the weird things that she does." She said with a smile.
Aiden leaned forward to grab a butterbeer for himself. The limo started up and the driver started to drive somewhere.
"Well, I would have found a way in somehow. However, your dad was also keeping me prisoner." He said with a large smile. He leaned back in the seat, and kiss her quickly on the cheek. His wedding ring was shining in the light.
Stacey smiled and popped the butterbeer open, carefully holding it so that the fizz wouldn`t get on her dress. "Yea, how did that go last night? I mean, my mom wasn`t there, and my dad likes you a lot." She asked, then took a sip of her drink. The cool liquid felt good against her toungue after such a long night.
Aiden made a face, trying to search for the right word. "Well...it was certainly interesting." He said after a few moments of indecision. "It actually wasn't as bad as thought it was going to be. Your dad is nice." He pointed out.
Aiden opened up his butterbeer, and held up his glass for a toast.
Stacey smiled. "Yea, he is nice." She clinked her bottle against his. "To us?" She asked.
She felt the limo take a sharp turn, and she fell against the back of the leather seat. "Whoa." She mumbled, reaching ehr hand towards the door for something to hold on to.
Aiden quickly grabbed onto Stacey's hand to help her up. He pressed his lips together to stop from laughing. Aiden sat his drink down on a coaster. He also took hers and sat it down from keeping to from spilling.
"Are you okay?" Aiden asked quickly, a smile in his voice. "Crazy driver...."
Stacey laughed and took his hand. "I`m fine. That was just unexpected." She assured.
"You never finished the toast." She complained, picking up her drink again and holding it up. "To us?" She smiled brightly at her husband. The word felt so new on her toungue Husband. She bit her lip to keep from giggling again. She didn`t need anyone thinking that she had a little too much bubbly for the night.
Aiden smiled, and picked up his drink. He held it up, and tilted it to the side to gently hit it against Stacey's bottle. "To us." Aiden agreed.
After the toast he leaned forward to kiss her quickly. "Are you excited to find out where we are going Mrs. Gray?" He asked, smiling at the word.
Stacey took a sip of her butter beer and returned Aiden`s kiss. "Oh yes, Mr. Gray, I can`t wait to find out. The only thing you`ve me is that it is near a beach." She said, raising her eyebrows and taking another drink.
Aiden nodded, clearly not saying anymore. "Yes, and that is all you are going to know until we get there." He said, his voice serious.
Aiden lifted his butterbear to take a long drink of it before setting it down. His eyes were still glowing from all of the day's events.
Stacey, too, took a long sip from her drink and then set it down. "That is so unfair. But I guess I can wait." She took his hand and smoothed down her dress with the other.
Aiden chuckled quietly. "I must say that I am amazed that you allowed me to keep this a surpise." He said, shaking his head slowly. He watched her smooth out her dress.
Stacey shrugged, smiling down to her lap. "Well, I`m amazed too, so don`t keep pestering me about it or I`ll torure the answer out of you." She grinned at Aiden, her eyes bright.
Aiden looked at her face, and raised an eyebrow. "You would torture me?" He asked with a surprised tone. His expression showed mocked horror.
Stacey laughed. "Yea, I would tickle you to death." She held up her hands threateningly. She felt the limo take another turn and slow down.
"Are we there?" She asked, turning to try to look out the tinted windows. "Are we getting on a plane?"
Aiden smiled, and turned to the window as she spoke. "Yeah, we are actually. I doubt that you'd want to drive the whole way." He said with amusement.
Aiden put down his drink, and opened the door of the limo. He stepped out, and held out his hand to politely help Stacey out.
Stacey grinned and took Aiden`s hand, pulling herself out of the limo. The low lights shined over her, making her look like she was glowing.
"How far is it?" She asked. "You can at least tell me that."
Aiden couldn't help but smile at the way she looked under the lights. As she stepped out of the limo he held her hand through the doors.
"Its not too far. About a two hour flight. I certainly hope you don't mind." He said.
Stacey shook her head, still grinning. "Nope. I`m not at all tired. And I`m being honest." She definatly was not tired tonight. There was no way.
She let Aiden lead her into the airport and followed him until they entered a chute that would lead to a plane.
Aiden walked into the chute towards the plane with Stacey at his side. The driver had already taken care of their bags so now there was nothing to worry about.
"Have you ever ridden inside a plane?" Aiden asked her suddenly as they waited in line.
Stacey nodded. "Once. On a flight to Italy." She said softly. There weren`t very many people out, and they were tired.
Aiden nodded. "I hope your not afraid of heights." He teased her, squeezing Stacey's fingers. As it was their turn in line, he gave the woman their tickets and began to board the plane.
He looked around at the certain arranged seats, and found their own. Aiden let Stacey sit down first by the window.
"Would you like something to drink?" He asked.
Stacey looked out the window, smiling. "Nah, I`m good." She assured quietly. You couldn`t see the sky from here in the plane, the airport lights blocked out the stars. That made her only slightly off beat, but she was with Aiden.
Her husband.
She smiled again as she thought of the word.
Aiden smiled, and took her hand as he sat down. "You can sleep on the plane if you want if you get tired." He said, squeezing her fingers. Aiden leaned his chair back and sighed quietly.
Stacey shook her head. "I don`t think I can sleep. At least not tonight." She explained, leaning her chair back so it was even with his. There weren`t any people behind them, so they could lean the seats back without anyone complaining.
Aiden looked at Stacey as she leaned her chair back to match his. He ran his thumb over the back of her palm. "I can't either. The day has been too much for me to go to sleep." He told Stacey with a large grin.
Stacey returned Aiden`s smile. "A lot has happened today." She agreed, her eyes sparkling bright blue. She wriggled her left fingers, making her wedding ring gleam.
Aiden looked down at her ring and grinned brightly. "I love you." He said suddenly. He began to think back to the wedding ceremony, only making him smile even more now.
Stacey grinned broadly. She could feel Aiden`s memories, even though she was no where near someone with mental abilities. Her powers were growing, soemtimes it was a good thing, sometimes it wasn`t. Rigth now she really didn`t care.
"I love you, too, my moon." She replied, squeezing his hand.
Aiden sighed quietly, it was a happy sound. The plane's engine suddenly roared to life and it suddeny started to slowly lift off. He continued to smile at her.
Stacey returned Aiden`s grin then looked out the window. Flying on plane defianatly wasn`t as exciting as transporting or riding on a broom, but it worked for Muggles.
"So, are you gonna give me any hints on our trip?" She asked, trying to sound persuasive.
Aiden tilted his head to the side, and began to slowly shake his head. "No hints. Sorry. I doubt I could give a good hint without giving it away anyhow." He said, laying his hands in his lap.
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "Please?" Just one little tiny hint?" She asked, batting her eyelashes and pouting her lips.
Aiden pressed his lips together into a straight line. How on earth could he regect to this pleading? He never had before, it was like a spell she had put on him. He shrugged his shoulders. "Well, its warm...." Aiden began slowly.
"I already knew that." Stacey pouted, lowering her eyes to Aiden`s hand and playing with his fingers slowly, like she was disappointed and waiting.
Aiden made a face and sighed. "Do you want me to just go ahead and tell you?" He asked Stacey, giving in.
"No," She replied, lifting her eyes to his. "Just tell me about it." She asked, knowing that Aiden couldn`t not tell her.
Aiden looked at her, into her eyes. "Well...its beautiful, warm, sunny, tropical, and uhh...well I don't want to give way too much away." He told Stacey.
Stacey looked down at his hand again, eyes wide. She batted her eyeslashes at his hand.
Aiden looked down at Stacey, not seeing her eyes. "What?" He asked, confused.
Stacey looked up to Aiden, still pouting. "Is that all you can tell me?" She asked, running a finger over the back of his hand.
Aiden looked down at Stacey's face. It was the face he couldn't say no to. "What else would you like to know?" He asked.
Stacey batted her eyelashes. "Well, what are we going to do?" She asked, still playing with his fingers.
Aiden pressed his lips together, and tilted his head to the side. "Well...alot of things. Like swim, hike, lay on the beach, snorkling. Pretty much anything you want you can do." He said, trying not to give away the actual location too much.
Stacey grinned. "Okay." She said merrily. She leaned over and rested her head on his shoulder.
Aiden grinned softly, and gently rubbed his thumb over the back of her hand. He looked at the window and only saw large, white clouds floating in the blue evening sky. He sighed quietly.
Stacey sighed, too. An attendant was walking up and down the row, offering people pillows or drinks. "I love you, my moon." Stacey whispered.
Aiden looked at Stacey, and kissed her hand. "I love you...so very very much." He repeated, still sincere and meaning it as much as the first time that he had ever said it to her.
Stacey leaned forward to kiss his cheek. "Remember when we first met? You were just walking through the forest, and I was standing there in the dark. You were the only person I had met besides adults that could use fire. I was excited about you. Then I fell for ya." She said softly.
Aiden smiled widely at his first memory of Stacey. It was one of many happy memories with her. "Do you know what the first thing I noticed about you that made me realized you were so special?" He asked, rubbing his thumb over the back of her palm. Stacey's skin was warm against his.
Stacey grinned. "What?" She asked. "Was it my amazing good looks?" She flipped her hair over her shoulder and bated her eyelashes again.
Aiden smiled and nodded. "Yes. Espeically those eyes..." He said, looking into Stacey's bright, magnificent eyes. "They definatly caught my attention."
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "Really, what was it?" She asked, gripping his hand as if she never planned to let it go.
Aiden smiled even more as she wrinkled her nose. He kissed her hand gently before laying their hands back down on the arm rest. "What was what?"
"What made me so special when you met me?" She whined quietly, squeezing his fingers.
"Well, definatly your amazing eyes. But everything about you!" Aiden explained, trying to find the right words to express how he felt. He put his free hand under his chin as if he were thinking.
'Tell me!" Stacey squeeled, bobbing up and down. Someone in front of her turned and gave her a look. She just stared right back.
Aiden shook his head and made a face. "I already did." He said, almost laughing.
Stacey wrinkled her nose and flipped his hand over, tracing designs on his palm. "When are we going to get there?" She asked, looking out the window.
Aiden looked out the window then towards the thingypit. "Uh...I believe very soon love." He answered. Aiden squeezed her hand, and yawned.
((Thingypit?))
Stacey smiled and started bouncing up and down. Her eyes sparkled lime green and she flipped her hair over she shoulder. "Where to after this?"
((Uh...wow. The site blocked the word...lol))
Aiden looked back at Stacey and smiled as he saw her excitement. "Well, since we don't have to go on another flight...we'll be there." He said, his own excitement beginning to shine in his eyes.
((Oh, I get it. You know that that is the place where the pilots sit, right?))
"Yay!" People were sitting up now and the seatbelt button flashed of.
((Yeah..lol...I guess that word isn't allowed. Thingypit will have to do...))
Aiden looked around at all the passengers moving around. He moved his eat up straight, and unbuckled his own seat belt. "Are you ready for your first official day of your honeymoon Mrs. Gray." Aiden asked Stacey.
Stacey held up a finger. "First night of my honeymoon." She corrected. "The first day is tomorrow." She nodded and unbuckled herself, standing up carefully.
Aiden grinned and stretching his arms. He waited to get up until Stacey left. "That is true." He agreed as they waited for the plane to slowly get less crowded.
As the line of people ended, Stacey took Aiden`s hand and lead him out into the isle. They exited the plane and she looked around.
As soon as they stepped out of the plane the moon was shining bright here, and it was still very warm despite the time. It was very tropical looking, completed with palm trees and sand. A sign read something but it was in another language.
Aiden turned to Stacey and smiled. "What do you think?"
((Lol. You just made nighttime the daytime.))
((Wow. I keep on doing that! lol Okay, its fixed.))
((Lol. Thanks.))
Stacey just shook her head, an amazed look on her face. Her eyes had takn a frozen look, along with a bright blue color. "This is... this is amazing." she said, speachless.
Aiden smiled and sighed with relief. He was worried she wouldn't like the location. "Yeah...I was hoping I could find a place neither of us have been to." He told her, putting his arm around Stacey's shoulder.
Stacey smiled and nodded, still looking at the beautiful place. "So, what now?" She asked softly.
Aiden squeezed her hand and turned to Stacey. "We have to go check in then we can do whatever you want." He answered as he pulled her along onto a boardwalk.
Stacey nodded, still grinning. She followed Aiden, looking around her. The night was warm and smelled of salt.
Aiden walked beside Stacey as he made their way towards a hotel with a desk in the main lobby. He walked in and the smell of flowers hit his nose. He looked up at the man and said, "I have a reserved room for Gray."
The man nodded and Aiden handed him a credit card. After the card was scanned the man handed back his card and a pair of keys. Aiden smiled and turned to Stacey. "You excited?" He asked, his eyes glowing.
Stacey nodded. "Really excited." She said, her eyes glowing. She followed Aiden with an almost impatient step. "What about our luggage?" She asked, thinking.
Aiden shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I'll take care of it." He promised. Instead of leading them towards the elevator in the hotel to go to the rooms, he led them back out the door and onto the boardwalk again.
Stacey nodded again and followed him. "So, Mr. Gray, where are we going?" She asked in an accent, smiling at him oddly.
Aiden looked at Stacey and smiled. "Well, Mrs. Gray, I was wanting to show you where we will be stayin at" He answered. He liked the sound of that, Mrs. Gray.
Stacey smiled. "Sounds good to me." She agreed. "So, where are we staying at?" She asked.
Aiden looked ahead as they walked, still grinning. "Can't tell you. I can only show you." He said, pulling Stacey along.
Stacey wrinkled her nose, but didn`t object. She was walking with her husband in a beautiful place. She was happy where she was.
Aiden led them up a flight of wooden stairs that were on the side of a steep hill. Then they followed a path near the beach and arrived at a cabin set on a private area of a beach which was beautiful. It was two-stories and large. He smiled and squeezed Stacey's hand. "Here we are."
Stacey gasped again, staring up at thr beautiful cabin "This is... just... perfect." She whipered. Her eyes were a bright green again, too.
Aiden chuckled and scratched the back of his neck. "I hoped so. Do you want to see inside?" He asked, as he wrapped Stacey in an one-armed hug.
Stacey took a deep breath and nodded. It theoutside was this beautiful, she couldn`t imagine what the inside looked like. "Aiden, I love you." She said softly.
Aiden turned to look back at Stacey again. "I love you too, so much. I'm so happy you're my wife." He said with a brilliant grin.
Stacey grinned. "I`m the one that`s glad to be your wife." She objected.
Aiden bent his head down lower so that he could look into Stacey's eyes. "I can't be happy too?" He asked.
Stacey laughed softly. "Yeah, i guess you can be happy." She agreed, resting her head on his shoulder. "Come on, or we`re never going to get there." She urged, staring up to the cabin.
Aiden grinned crookedly as Stacey laughed. He took her hand and started to walk towards the cabin house. The waves hit the shore and it looked beautiful.
Stacey smiled. The scenery took her breath away. It was beautiful and she found she didn`t know what to look at: her husband and true love, or the beach.
Aiden smiled crookedly and kissed his wife on the lips quickly. Before she had time to react Aiden pulled her inside quickly. The front room was large with a tall ceiling. It had a brick fireplace and brick floors, it was very nicely designed. The cabin also had a hude two-story window that looked out onto the beautiful ocean. To him, it was perfect.
Aiden squeezed her fingers and flashed her a brilliant smile. He waited for Stacey's reaction. "What do you think?"
Stacey just stood there, confused after Aiden kissed her so uncerimoniously. But then she saw the inside of the cabin. She took in a sharp breath and looked around, her eyes frozen in an amazed yellow.
"Aiden, this is... this is just perfect!" She exclaimed, turning back to look at him.
Aiden smiled and looked at her eyes. He stepped a few steps forwards so he could look at her expression. "You really think so? I wasn't really sure you'd like it." He said doubtfully.
Stacey stepped towards Aiden, taking his hands in hers. "Yes, I love it." She looked around, eyes wide. "It`s just... magnificent!"
Aiden looked down at Stacey with a grin, his perfect white teeth showing and his eyes glowed. "Mind if I show you around?" He asked quickly.
Stacey nodded as she beamed up at him. "I`d love for you to show me around, she said in a matter-of-fact tone. If this part of the house was so beautiful, she just couldn`t imagine the rest.
Aiden entwined his fingers with Stacey's and pulled her towards the kitchen. It was a big room and had marble counters with beautiful concrete floors, completed with a large refrigerator. It, too, had large windows which made the room bright.
Aiden then showed her the library, pool room, and guest room. He chuckled and said, "This house is rather large. It is hard to believe it is only a vaction house."
Stacey grinned. "Yeah, but it`s really nice. You`d beter hope that I don`t see the bill." She raised an eyebrow challengingly. "Because I won`t rest until I pay you back. "She swung their hands bak and forth as they continued walking.
Aiden smiled and turned to look at Stacey. "Well, this place your dad actually picked out." He explained as they continued walking. Aiden led her up the stairs and showed her to the bathroom, which included it's own room for a jacuzzi. He then showed her to the master bedroom which had a large maroon bed with two large matching dressers.
Aiden pulled her along to a door in the corner of the room. "I'll show you my favorite part." He whispered quietly in Stacey's ear. He opened the door and it led to a large balcony that looked over the side of the house. To the left it overlooked the beach and to the right it revealed a small stream that ran through the woods by the house.
Stacey kept smiling as they entered the bathroom, but she blushed lightly as they entered the bedroom. She grinned brightly as they went onto the balcony. 'Wow, this is just... beautiful." She knew that she had already used that word, but it fit well.
"I love you, Aiden Gray." Stacey whispered, gently squeezing his hand.
Aiden was still smiling as he turned around to look at Stacey. He had been smiling since the second they got off the plane. "I love you, I always have and always will." He replied sincerely, his eyes shining.
Stacey beamed up at her husband. "You know, three years ago, I though I loved you, and I didn`t think I could ever love you more. I was wrong." she said softly. She lifted her hand to caress the side of his face.
Aiden's eyes flashed a bright color after he blinked. He kissed one of the fingers that caressed his face. "It feels like I love you more and more each day." He said quietly, his voice merely a hushed whisper.
Stacey smiled softly as Aiden kissed her fingers. She leaned forwards gradually and kissed him slowly. "I love you so much. You have no idea how happy I am that we`re finally married." She whispered, so close to him that her lips brushed his as she spoke.
Aiden took in a deep breath, and kissed her softly. "I am too, love. I'm so happy right now...I..." He trailed off, trying to think of the right words to explain how he felt.
Stacey grinned and kissed him again, still softly and slowly. "I know what you`re trying to say." She mumbled into his lips.
Aiden smiled again as she spoke. "Whats that?" He asked, curious.
Stacey shrugged, leaning back and slipping her hand into his. "I don`t knwo how to explain it, but I feel it, too." She explained softly. She looked out onto the beautiful beach. The moon was hitting it just right, and it looked like something from a movie.
Aiden squeezed her fingers gently. "Feels...right?" He suggested, trying to think of the word. He followed her gaze down to the beach.
Stacey smiled and nodded. "Yes. It feels right. Like it was supposed to happen." She smiled to herself, still looking out to the beach.
Aiden nodded. "Exactly." He agreed as he put one hand on the railing of the balcony. "I love you. So very much."
Stacey grinned and leaned against Aiden, resting her head on his shoulder. "I love you, too. More than I ever thought possible." She squeezed his hand.
Aiden embraced Stacey, wrapping both of his arms around her in a hug. "I missed you the day before our wedding, too. I wanted to sneak in..but..." He said with a large, playful grin.
Stacey smiled. "I would have tried, but Leah had her eyes locked on me." She smirked and lifted her head. "She would barely let me go to the bathroom without following me." Her eyes sparkled a mischevious green.
Aiden's entire body shook as he chuckled. "Well, that sucked for me." He teased, a playful glint in his eyes. "I guess it was worth it since you looked amazing in your wedding dress."
Stacey laughed softly. "You looked more amazing, I`m sure." She said, her eyes turning brillinat blue again. She rested her head on his shoulder once again, her breath trailing along his neck.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders and shuttered as he felt her breath on his neck. It tickled him. "No one could look more amazing than you..." He pointed out, raising an eyebrow.
Stacey beamed. "You alwayss say that, but no one could ever look better to me than you did." She tried to assure.
Aiden snorted. He firgured there was no use in arguing with her. "Whatever you say...but I disagree." He concluded.
Stacey closed her eyes to keep them from rolling. "Okay, whatever you say." She agreed, taking in a deep breath. The air smelled salty.
Aiden smiled and tilted his head to one side. "So, what do you want to do, love?" He asked Stacey.
Stacey shrugged, still hugging Aiden. "I don`t know, it`s too late to really do anything, isn`t it?" She asked. "What do you want to do?"
Aiden peeked inside the room to look at the clock. "It is around 7 now." He told Stacey. Aiden looked back at her. "No, your picking this time." He said with a smile.
Stacey wrinkled her nose. She ddin`t like to pick, but she knew she wasn`t getting out of it tonight. "Well, we could go down to the beach. We could sit in the jacuzzi. We could... sit on the counch and watch old movies?"
Her voice trailed off. She hoped that he would pick one.
Aiden bit his lip as he decided. "Well, old movies sounds fun...?" He pointed out after a few short moments of indecision. He flipped his dark hair out of his eyes.
Stacey gave Aiden a look. "Come on. I doubt that you really want to watch old movies." She argued.
Aiden grinned playfully. "Okay. Well, what sounds good to you?" He asked, insisting on her to pick.
Stacey rinkled her little nose. "Well, I don`t really mind. I`m just happy enough to be with you. Why don`t we go down to the beach? We might both like that." She looked back out to the beautiful beach, gleaming with moonlight.
Aiden looked down at the beach. No one was out there since it was a private section exclusively for this cabin. It was quiet and certainly beautiful. "That sounds nice to me." He decided. Aiden took Stacey's hand into his own.
Stacey grinned and kissed his hand before dropping it. "Meet me out there in ten minutes?" She asked softly.
Aiden smiled as she kissed his hand. "Sure." He agreed as he looked out the beach again.
Ten minutes later, Stacey walked out to the moon-lit beach with a black two piece on and a towel wrapped around herself. Her eyes reflected the moon as she stepped outside. The moon made the sand look white and the water black. She looked around for Aiden.
Aiden was standing on the shore wearing blue swimming trunks that went past his knees. He turned around as Stacey came outside. His pale skin seemed to match the color of the moon, almost. "Hey." He greeted her again with a smile.
"Hi," She greeted as she neared him and laced her fingers between his.
Aiden flashed her a grin. "Would you want to go swimming, or sit on the beach and relax?" He asked Stacey, curious on what she preferred to do.
"Hmmm." Stacey pondered. "How about both?" She asked, leading him to the edge of the water and sat down, so when the waves came in the water lapped over her feet.
Aiden nodded with agreement and sat down. He put one finger in the water and flicked a splash of water at Stacey playfully.
Stacey wrinkled her nose and shrieked. "Hey!" She protested before sending a wave after him.
Aiden fell back into the sand as the wave hit him. He leaned forward and shook his head, sending water droplets everywhere
"Hey, that was not fair." Aiden pointed out, his hair dripping in front of his eyes.
Stacey laughed. "It is to fair." She giggled. "You started it!" She said, laughing and falling back into the white sand.
Aiden grinned largely and began to laugh. He leaned to the side over Stacey.
"I didn't make a giant wave splash on you." Aiden pointed out with amusement in his tone.
"I wasn`t giant." Stacey replied softly with a smile, looking up to her husband. The moon was now behind his head, so it was hard to see his facial features.
Aiden shook his head, and cleared his throat. His eyes almost matched the color of the moon because of the way they shined now.
"It was pretty big." Aiden disagreed.
Stacey sat up half-way suddenly so her face was close to his. "Do you want to see a big wave?" She asked, her eyes sparkling green with mischief.
Aiden raised an eyebrow and flashed a large smile, his white teeth shining in the moon's light.
"Bring it on." He threatened her, noticing the mischevious gleam in her eyes.
Stacey kissed him quickly before sitting up and crossing her legs. This motion made tiny little waves as she moved. She rested one hand on her knee, palm up, and the other she let float down to the water.
Within seconds a large wave was starting to roll towards them, getting bigger as it neared.
Aiden stared at Stacey, not even bothering to look at the wave. He wasn't worried. The wave neared until it was extremely close. Then, he put his hand up and a gust of wind pushed the wave back. Only little drops of water had hit him.
"Seriously..love...is that all you've got?" Aiden teased her playfully.
Stacey frowned and leaned towards Aiden, laying down so she was near him. "Aw. Why did you have to do that? I worked hard on it." She pouted, running her fingers over his shoulder.
Aiden smiled even more at her expression, and entwined Stacey's fingers from her free hand with his own.
"Well...I didn't want to get splashed." He answered her.
Stacey lifted her other hand and ran it along his other shoulder, her cool fingers softly trailing lines along his skin. "Who said I was going to splash you, my moon?" She asked, still pouting.
Goosebumps began to raise up on his arms again as she ran her fingers over his shoulders.
"What were you going to do then, love?" Aiden asked, still grinning.
Stacey saw the goosebumbs on his arms and ran her fingers over his cheek. "Well, my moon. I thought you were going for a swim."
Before he would have a chance to respond, Stacey flicked her hand into the air and sent a shower of warm water over Aiden.
Aiden bent his head down as the water hit his back and head. He lowered his shoulders and shook his head with disapproval. His dark hair was covering his eyes.
"Now THAT was unfair." Aiden objected with a frown. He almost looked like a little kid.
Stacey fell back on the sand, laughing loudly. Her eyes were gleaming emerald green, the color of mischief. Through giggles she spoke. "I know! But it was funny!" She fell into a fit of giggles.
Aiden pushed his bottom lip out in a pout. He didn't bother to move his hair out of his eyes even though he couldn't see.
"It wasn't for me..." Aiden replied with a sad tone. However, hidden behind his hair his eyes glimmered with amusement.
Stacey couldn`t reply, she was laughing to hard. Soon she rolled towards him, able to speak through her giggles. "Aw, come on, my moon. Lighten up. We`re married!" She took his hand and rested it on her cheek.
Aiden caressed his hand on her cheek. He moved his soaking wet hair out of his bright eyes.
"I wasn't really upset about that. I don't think I could ever stay upset for long while I'm around you." He pointed out.
Stacey smiled and her eyes turned bright blue again. "Oh, me either." she admitted. "Maybe it`s your charming good looks." She teased, twirling a piece of his hair around her finger.
Aiden snorted and laughed sarcastically.
"No way. Honestly, no one could be considered even remotely good looking when they are standing next to you. You're the good looking one." He said.
Stacey laughed. "Oh, come on. Have you ever looked in a mirror?" She asked, her cheeks starting to blush softly. She never thought of herself as pretty, really. She was far too modest, but she thought Aiden would look the best in any croud.
Aiden grinned as he noticed her blushing. He leaned back in the sand, and crossed his arms behing his head.
"Yes, I have...have you?" Aiden inquired. "Honestly, love, your beautiful." He pointed, his expression turning serious.
Stacey wrinkled her nose and moved so her head rested on his shoulder. "I am not. You`re just saying that because I`m your wife and you have to." She teased.
Aiden put his arm around Stacey. He sighed quietly, completely content on where he was right now.
"No, I say these things because I want to and they are true." He told her.
Stacey wrinkled her nose and buried her head in his shoulder. "I love you." She said. "So much."
Aiden grinned while his usually dark eyes shined brightly with the sun.
"I love you. You will always be the love of my life, no matter what." He whispered in Stacey's ear.
He gently leaned forward to kiss the top of her head.
((It`s nighttime. Still.))
Stacey smiled and lifted her head. "Forever and always, my lover you`ll be." She whispered before leaning forward and kissing him softly.
((Wow. I keep doing that.))
Aiden smiled. He liked the sound of that. He, too, leaned forward to kiss his wife softly.
Stacey smiled, too, and raised her free hand to Aiden`s cheek. His skin was still wet from the water she had sprayed all over him. She tilted her head slightly as she kissed him again, her lips parting slightly.
Aiden leaned forward closer to Stacey as he kissed her. He moved his hand to her shoulder and parted his lips.
Stacey`s eyes flickered different colors behind her closed lids. She gently let go of his other hand and rested it on his shoulder, pulling herself closer to him as she waves licked at her feet.
Aiden moved his other hand to the back of Stacey's neck. He leaned back for a moment to take a breath before returning to kissing her again.
Stacey felt the hand on his shoulder slide up to his neck. She took a breath as he did and kissed him again, her breath mingling with his.
Aiden gently moved Stacey closer to him. He moved his neck to kiss her softly from her jawline to her neck.
Stacey exhaled softly as she felt aiden kiss her jaw softly, inhaling as he reached her neck. The hand she rested on his neck trailed up into his wet hair, twisting her fingers through it gently.
Aiden kissed back to her jaw until his lips found hers again. He parted his lips again and kissed her gently. Then, another wave came by and splashed them.
Stacey smiled as the chilly water hit them, but otherwise didn`t break the kiss. She kissed Aiden again, running her fingers through his hair. The kiss was slowly becoming more passionate, but she hardly realized it.
Aiden leaned forward more to Stacey. They were pretty much as close as they could be to each other. He moved his hand from the back of her neck, to caress on her cheek.
Stacey felt his hand on her cheek so moved the hand that had been in his hair and gently laced her fingers through his. Tilting her head again, she kissed Aiden not-so-softly.
He noticed how Stacey began to kiss him not as gently. Aiden followed her and kissed her back not as softly as before. He tilted his head to one side.
Stacey smiled again and took in a sharp breath before pressing her lips against his, again, not as softly as their kisses normally were.
Aiden opened his eyes for a quick moment as she pulled away, only to close them again as he locked lips with Stacey's. His eyes were a magnificent gold color as they shined with the light of the moon,
Stacey ran her cool fingers over aiden`s cheek. She was only faintly aware that her eyes were shining bright silver under her lids.
Aiden felt Stacey's cold fingers against his cheek. He was only faintly aware of the waves hitting them. He moved his other hand to her side and kept the other entwined with Stacey's hand.
Stacey felt Aiden`s hand at her side, but that was only because where their skin tuched it felt hotter than the rest of her. She lost her concentration and her fingers just caressed his cheek, instead.
Aiden smiled, and gently leaned back after quickly pressing his lips to hers one more time quickly.
"I love you." He said suddenly.
Stacey smiled and took a deep breath. "I love you too, Mr. Gray." She whispered with a smile.
Aiden's smiled grew wider. He leaned onto his back again, and rested his hands on his chest.
"Like I've said before...I won't ever get tired of hearing that."
Stacey smiled and layed down close to him, resting her head on his chest. "So are you going to say it many times a day just to hear me reply?" she asked, still smiling.
Aiden laughed, and moved the hand that was on her side to her shoulder.
"Nah. I'm merely reminding you in case you forget." He answered playfully.
((I like this picture you have now!))
Stacey smiled. "Oh really? Because I could say it a million times and still mean it." She replied.
((Hehe which one? I keep on switching them, and I don't remember which one))
Aiden took in a deep breath and exhaled. It smelled like salt and water right after it rains, it was a nice smell.
"True... I guess you could say I just like hearing you say it." He decided.
((I`ll make it mine, so you can see it.))
Stacey smiled and caressed his cheek. "And I like saying it." She countered, flashing her white teeth as she smiled.
((Thanks.))
Aiden grinned lightly. The waves began to splash him more, making him even more soaked.
"Thats good, love. I just hope you don't get sick of saying it." He said, his tone playful again.
Stacey smiled and ran her fingers over his bare chest. "Never, my moon. I love you. I love you. I love you." She said, her smile getting bigger.
Aiden sighed quietly, leaning back again. The moon was high in the sky, revealing itself in the ocean's water and casting an amazing reflection. The moon also reflected in his eyes.
"Mmm..that sounds good." He muttered quietly. "I love you too." Aiden added.
Stacey tilted her head up and kissed Aiden on the cheek. "I love you more." She challenged, a smile on her lips. She rested her hand flat on his shoulder, loving the feel of his smooth skin under her hand.
Aiden frowned and shook his head. His eyes were glowing magnificently, almost like they would never stop while Stacey was around.
"Nope." He disagreed, making a popping sound on the P. "I do."
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "I love you more." She argued, her eyes flashing brigth colors. They were always neon bright when she was around Aiden.
Aiden smiled lightly at the color of Stacey's eyes. They were wonderful as usual.
"I seriously doubt that." He objected.
Stacey pouted and put her cheek against his shoulder. "I love you more than anyone else. How about that?" She asked.
Aiden rubbed his hand over Stacey's shoulder gently.
"Well, I love you more than I thought was ever humanly possible...and it grows more each day." He answered her, smiling again.
Stacey smiled. "You know, that reminds me of a song I heard when I was with my mom." She said, then paused, trying to remember the words.
Aiden looked at Stacey, and leaned back some. She never really talked about her mom all that much so he was obviously curious whenever Stacey did mention her.
"What song was it?" Aiden asked.
Stacey held up a finger, thinking, then she started to sing.
I remember trying not to stare the night that I first met you
You had me mesmerized
3 weeks later in the front porch light taking 45 min to kiss you goodnight
I hadn't told you yet but I thought I loved you then
She paused to smile at Aiden.
Now you're my whole life now you're my whole world
I just can't believe the way I feel about you girl
Like a river meets the sea
Stronger than it's ever been
We've come so far since that day
And I thought I loved you then.
Stacey stopped singing and grinned. "I`m not the best singer, but they`re good lyrics. They fit the situation well." She winked at him and pushed his shoulder again.
Aiden grinned and patter her shoulder again, even though she had pushed him.
"I like that song. Also, you have a good voice." He pointed out honestly. He had never heard that song before, but he liked it.
Stacey started to blush faintly so she put her head against his shoulder again. "I love you. And just so you know, a guy sang the song." She grinned, her white teeth bright in the moonlight.
Aiden wrapped both of his arms around Stacey this time and embraced her close to him.
"I really like it then. You know what, I'm going to learn that song and sing to you one day." He told her.
Stacey smiled again, then pecked him on the cheek. "Oh, you spoil me." She complained, but you could tell by her voice that she didn`t mean it.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, but couldn't help but smile again as she kissed him.
"No, I don't spoil you...I give you what you deserve. What any man in their right mind should realize its what you deserve." He pointed out.
"Hmmm." Stacey hummed as she rolled onto her side and wrapped one arm around him. "Well, I think you spoil me." She said softly.
Aiden made a face again. It almost looked like a frown.
"Well, you spoil me way too much." He argued.
Stacey shrugged. "So. It`s different when a girl spoils her fiance." She said in a matter-of-fact tone.
Aiden slowly began to trace random designs on Stacey's arm.
"No its not. Honestly love, I'm the spoiled one here. Every day you make me feel like a little kid on Christmas day. That must mean something." Aiden pointed out.
Stacey shook her head and reached her hand up to caress Aiden`s cheek. "No, my moon. I`m the spoiled one here because I get to look at you every single day of my life. That is more than I could ever ask for."
Aiden shook his head and lowered it. This disagreement was never going to be settled.
"We'll have to agree to disagree." He conclued, raising an eyebrow.
Stacey nodded once. "Okay." she agreed in a perky tone. She traced her fingers down his chest, her nails running across his skin gently.
Aiden layed all the way back in the sand, and crossed his hands behind his back with a smile on his face. He was perfectly content on where he was, on a beautiful beach with his newlywed wife on a nice night. Couldn't seem to get much better.
As Aiden fell back, so did Stacey. She took his hand and was drawing on his palm. "So, you`re the one that planned eveything. What are we going to do tonight. And don`t tell me to pick."
Aiden scrutched his nose up, but didn't reject. There was really no use. He shrugged his shoulders as he decided.
"Well, we could watch a movie, go walk on the boardwalk. I doubt any stores are open so I guess we can't do that." He answered, suggesting random things.
Stacey chewed the inside of her cheek, a habit she got into when she was thinking. "We can do that anytime, though." she complained. "You just said not five minutes ago that you were spoling me!" She reminded in a teasing tone, even though he hadn`t said that. Not exactly.
Aiden sighed with a small smile. He rested his hands on his stomache again.
"I really don't know love. Why don't you pick?" He suggested, his smile growing.
"Because you`re the one who wouldn`t let me know where we were going until we were here. "She said, tapping her finger tip against the tip of his nose.
Aiden made a face, and flicked a bit of water at Stacey.
"True. But now that we are here...you decide." He pointed out stubbornly. He grinned.
Stacey wrinkled her nose and rolled onto her stomach, one of her elbows resting on his chest. "But that`s not fair." She pouted.
Aiden absentmindedly ran his fingers over her arm.
"Yeah, it is." He disagreed, smiling.
"No it`s not." She continued, feeling goosebumbs raise on her arm where he touced it.
Aiden continued to run his fingers over her skin as he smiled.
"Any suggestions at least?" He asked.
Stacey rolled her eyes, but she was still grinning. "I`m perfectly happy rigth here.' she said softly, looking up to meet his eyes and resting a hand on his chest.
Aiden slowly rolled his fingers over Stacey's hand.
"Me too." He agreed, flashing another teethy smile.
Stacey smiled and rolled onto her side so that she was facing Aiden somewhat. She trailed a finger tip down his bare arm, the fingers to that hand tangled with her own.
"My moon, would you mind telling me about yourself? Not like, recently, but before you came to Hogwarts?" she asked after a few silent minutes.
Aiden turned his head to look at Stacey. His eyes were glowing.
"What would you like to know?" He asked quietly.
Stacey shrugged. "I really don`t know that much about you." She said. "But I know what I need to." She smiled and layed down next to him so his arm was around her.
Aiden gently squeezed her and shrugged his shoulders.
He began slowly with his voice quiet, "Well, you already know that my muggle parents had died when I was young. I moved in with my uncle and Alexis until I recieved my letter to Hogwarts. Before then, I attended a private school in France which I pretty much despised with a passion."
Aiden said the last part while grinding his teeth.
"I was in a small garage band for awhile. That was really the only part of my childhood I liked. Well, thats the short story. Anything else you would like to know?"
Stacey nodded. "Yeah, were both of your parents Muggles?" She asked, clearing her throat first. She was still playing with Aiden`s hand, his skin slightly warmer than hers, but that was probably because Stacey had absorbed magic from vampires more often than she probably should have.
Aiden looked down, and watched Stacey play with his hands.
"Yeah, why?" He answered quietly.
Stacey grinned, flashing her perfect teeth. "Aiden, for you to have the powers you do and to have both of your parents be Muggles, that`s just amazing!" She said to him.
Aiden tilted his head to one side, confused. He never really thought if it that way.
"Weren't one of your parents a muggle?" He asked.
Stacey nodded. "My mom. But my dad was magic, so I inherited it from him. I`m not as rare as you." she explained softly.
Aiden looked at Stacey with a doubtful expression.
"Isn't it normal for some people to have muggle parents but still be wizards?"
Stacey nodded again. "But they aren`t that common." She explained.
Aiden grinned as he thought about that.
"What can you tell me about yourself that I don't already know?" He asked.
Stacey thought for a moment, then shrugged. "You know everything. Ask me something you don`t know." She suggested.
Aiden leaned forward, and sat up. He looked out the waves as he began to think of a question to ask.
"What is your favorite childhood memory." He asked.
Stacey sat up after Aiden did and looked out to the more distant waters. "Hmm. When I was seven, my parents loved each other. They were inseperable. I remember sitting at the piano plucking out a simple Christmas song. It would be really bad for my standards now, but I was seven." She shrugged as she said that.
"My dad was leaning against the piano and beaming at me and my mom, who was sitting next to me and watching my fingers find the right notes." She paused and smiled, her eyes distant as she pictured the scene.
"It`s not even the most fun memory I`ve ever had, but... it`s happy. It just seems like everything is perfect and we were a perfect little family." Her voice trailed off, her eyes getting slightly darker.
Aiden turned his head to Stacey and watched her eyes get darker. He put one arm around her, and pulled her closer to himself.
"That sounds happy to me." He commented.
Stacey smiled and her eyes brightened. She rested her head on his shoulder. "This is one reason why I love you." She whispered softly.
Aiden looked down at her, and titled his head.
"What reason is that?"
Stacey grinned again. "Because I can be sad or angry and you can just hug me and say a few words and make me feel better." She explained softly.
Aiden smiled brightly. He hugged Stacey even closer.
"Well...I'm a guy of few words..." He pointed out, not sure how to respond to that.
Stacey smiled once more, her eyes sparkling. She could tell he didn`t know what to say. "It means that you can just give me a hug and tell me you love me and everything goes away." She explained in a quiet voice.
Aiden looked at Stacey, his eyes shining.
"Well, honestly I have to only look at you and I'll feel better." He said quietly.
Stacey rolled her eyes, a faint blush hitting her cheeks, but the moonlight made it less obvious. "Honestly, you spoil me." She said for the second time tonight.
Aiden smiled again as he saw her blushing.
"No way. What makes you think that?" He asked, curiously.
Stacey turned her head into his shoulder to hide her pink cheeks. "Because I said so." She said, knowing that she wouldn`t win this argument.
Aiden frowned as Stacey hid her face in his shoulder. He gently put his hand under her chin to lift her face to meet his eyes.
"I don't think I do." He disagreed simply.
Stacey smiled as Aiden took her chin. She didn`t try to jerk her head away, she just let him. "I know you don`t think so, but I think so. So that should count for something.' she whispered.
Aiden pressed his lips together into a straight line.
"Well, if honestly think so...I could try to stop." He replied quietly.
Stacey`s grin widened. "No, that`s okay. You can spoil me. Just don`t complain when I spoil you." She said, his hand still under her chin.
Aiden kept his hand where it was, and smiled.
"I won't." He promised with a playful tone.
Stacey smiled. "That`s right." She teased. She ran her fingers through the white sand.
Aiden looked down to watch Stacey run his fingers through the sand. He sighed happily.
After a few more quiet minutes, Stacey brushed off the fine sand from her hand. "I`ve told you mine, so what`s your favorite memory?" She didn`t ask for one from his childhood, knowing he may not have one, but she still wanted to know.
Aiden looked at Stacey, and raised an eyebrow.
"To be completely honest. It was today." He answered simply.
Stacey grinned from ear to ear, her white teeth shining in the moonlight. "I thought you would say that. But what, besides today and when you asked me to marry you, what is your favorite memory?" She asked, still beamed at him.
Aiden looked at her with a questionable look.
"Its going to be about you.." He said obviously.
Stacey shrugged, making her eyes big. "I still want to know what memory you liked the best." she said innocently.
Aiden smiled at her innocent tone.
"Well, it was about the time we were first getting to know each other. It was in the forest a few years ago. Remember?" He asked.
It had been their second encounter together, and they were practically strangers.
Stacey nodded expectantly. "Yep." she added, popping the p.
Aiden smiled even more.
"That one is definatly one of my favorite." He said.
There were a few parts he didn't like about that day, but they didn't matter now.
"Whats another one of yours." Aiden asked, tilting his head to one side.
Stacey grinned. "When I first met you. You were just so... different from everyone else, even though you were so much the same. You were unique." She smirked and pushed his shoulder.
Aiden leaned back as Stacey pushed him, and smiled still.
"I'd have to say the same thing about you. You were like no one else I'd ever met, and something about you made me feel comfortable with myself...like everything would be okay as long as you were there." He whispered.
Stacey grinned again. "That`s exactly what it felt like." She whispered, rolling onto her stomach and sticking her feet in the air.
"Another one." She demanded.
Aiden squeezed her hand gently. Then, another wave splashed into them.
"I have so many. I don't know where to start." He explained, smiling brightly.
"Aw, come on. I`m sure you can think of one that stands out." She persisted.
Aiden tilted his head, and leaned back again.
"The first day I came here. Because that was when my life really started." He answered.
Stacey laughed and blushed faintly. "Come on, you`re making me feel self-centered." She complained, but was still smiling.
Aiden smiled, and shook his head.
"Honestly, besides you I don't have very good memories." He pointed out.
Stacey laughed softly. "Well, we`re married now. We have another life ahead of us." she replied softly, putting her head on his shoulder again.
Aiden shook his head with agreement.
"Make new memories and bury the old ones." He quoted quietly.
Stacey nodded, then took his chin and pulled his face gently to hers, kissing him lightly.
Aiden closed his eyes slowly, and kissed her back softly. He moved his free hand to the side of Stacey's neck.
Stacey smiled and her eyes sparked brightly behind her closed lids. "I love you." She whispered, breaking the kiss just to repeat that before pressing her lips to his again.
Aiden grinned, and leaned back a fraction of an inch so he could speak.
"I love you too. So very much." He replied sincerely, his lips barely touching hers.
Stacey grinned and squeezed his hand. "What kind of car do you want?" She asked suddenly, relaxing so her back was against the sand again.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders as he thought of an answer for the random question.
"I've always been into older models. I would love to have a 1973 corvette. They look amazing. I would want to buy one cheap and fix it up, but you have to have alot of money to do that." He answered, as he pictured one in his mind.
Aiden turned his gaze back to Stacey.
"How about yourself?" :)
Stacey grinned evily for a moment, then looked at Aiden again.
"Well, I already have a cherry red Porche and a black Mustang, but I want a truck. A big one, with four back wheels." She said, excitement obvious in her voice.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, a little surprised. He then suddenly smiled.
"What kind of truck would you like?" He asked, curious with the tilt of his head.
Stacey laughed. "I`m not going to tell you, otherwise I`ll come home one day to find one in my driveway." She teased, squeezing his hand.
Aiden shook his head, and made a low chuckle in his throat.
"I could always ask your parents?" He suggested with an evil smile.
Stacey laughed. "You wouldn`t ask my mom, and she wouldn`t even know. And if you tried to ask my dad, he would laugh and walk away." She beamed.
"You`re stuck, honey." She teased.
Aiden's eyes lightened as Stacey laugh, but he still frowned.
"Only if I could read your mind..." Aiden only half joked, shaking his head back and forth.
Stacey grinned again and sat up, still holding his hand.
"Trust me, you would never, ever want to read my mind." She said softly, looking out to the sea. "No one should have to hear what I do, and I would never wish it on anyone."
Aiden sat up a litte, but used his elbows to lean back on. He looked at Stacey's face, and studied her expression.
"What do you do?" Aiden asked, tilited his head to the side.
"To stop them?" She asked, then sighed. "I have a mental wall in my head, basically. Think of it that way. The more I ignore the wall, the easier they can get it. That`s why they could attack me that night with Niles. I wasn`t paying any attention to it." She explained, then turned to face him.
"But I`m perfectly fine right now, and we`re here together, on our honeymoon." She smiled.
"No more talk of darkness, forget these wide-eyes fears. I`m here." She sang softly, squeezing his hand.
Aiden made a face as she spoke of the voices. He couldn't imagine how hard it must be for her, and he only wished there was some way he could help. If there was, he would do anything to do it.
"You know, you are a strong person. One of the strongest people I have ever met. And I love you so much, I can't even express it into words. I don't even feel like I deserve someone so great." Aiden murmered, looking down at her hands.
Stacey smiled lovingly at Aiden, her eyes filling with tears.
Nothing can harm you,
My words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom,
Let daylight dry your tears,
I`m here, with you, beside you,
To guard you and to guide you.
Say you love me every waking moment,
Turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always,
Promise me that all you say is true,
That`s all I ask of you.
Stacey caressed Aiden`s cheek and stared into his golden eyes, her own a brilliant blue. She then changed songs, her voice getting softer and gentler. Her words sounded more like velvet as she sang.
Slowly, gently night unfurls its splendor
Grasp it, sense it - tremulous and tender
Hearing is believing,
Music is decieving
Hard as lightning ,
Soft as candlelight
Dare you trust the music of the night
Close your eyes for your eyes will only tell the truth and the truth isn't what you want to see
In the dark it is easy to pretend
that the truth is what it aught to be
Softly, deftly music shall caress you
Hear it, feel it secretly poseess you
Open up you mind let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night.
While she sang, she had leaned over Aiden, her hand still on his cheek. Her face was now close to his. "I love you, so, so much." She whispered.
Aiden listened quietly as Stacey sang, her voice was beautiful. His eyes were brightly shining as he smiled. The song was unfamiliar, but still the words were great. Aiden rubbed his thumb over Stacey's cheek before her tears washed over.
"I love you. So very much. It hurts when I can't see your wonderful face, and each day my love grows greater." He whispered.
Stacey smiled again, her eyes shining magnificently. "Oh, Aiden," She sighed before kissing him softly. The tears in her eyes were renewed, slowing leaking over her cheeks.
Aiden's lips curved in a smiled, as he leaned forward to kiss her back. He could feel the tears fall from her eyes.
Stacey broke the kiss quickly. She started laughing softly, but it was a pure, hapy sound. She was still crying, but those tears were also shed in happiness.
Aiden leaned back slowly with a confused expression. He raised an eyebrow and his eyes seemed to get wider.
"What?" He asked with a now peculiar expression.
Stacey stopped laughing, but tears still leaked from her eyes.
"I just realized that I get to spend the rest of my life with you, and nothing, nothing, can change that." she said softly, once again caressing Aiden`s cheek.
Aiden smiled a teethy grin, his white teeth shined. He took the hand that caressed his cheek, and brought it to his lips to kiss it softly.
"I honestly don't believe it has sunk in for me yet. Otherwise, I'd be hopping up and down, unable to control myself." He said.
Stacey laughed softly again and sat up carefully.
"Hey, we should go back inside. I have a surprise, and I haven`t given you my wedding gift yet." She smiled brightly.
((By the way, what does he want for a wedding gift?))
Aiden sat up and tilted his head to the side, cracking his neck. He straightened himself up, and looked at Stacey.
"Sure." He nodded. "I have to give you yours too."
Stacey flashed another smile and took both of his hands, pulling him up with her when she stood. She dropped one hand to brush the sand of off her stomach.
"Hm, it was hard to find you a gift." She complained teasingly as they stated walking back in the direction of the house.
Aiden took both of Stacey's warm hand into his own. His skin always seemed a little hotter than hers, even now when wet from the ocean water. He squeezed one of her hands, and walked back to the house.
"Can you tell me what it is now?" Aiden asked, smiling brightly.
Stacey raised an eyebrow. "Are you realy asking me that question?" She asked, a smile creeping onto her face.
"Honestly, when have I even told you what I was getting you?"
((What pic were you going to send me?))
Aiden frowned. He pouted for half a moment, but couldn't help but let another smile creep upon his face.
"True. Couldn't only one time though?" He begged in a small voice as they walked to the house.
Stacey shook her head, eyeing him playfully.
"Nah, you can wait. Besides, we have a surprise from my father that I don`t even know what it is, yet. He packed it and I asked him what it was. He just smiled and told me to open it when we got here." She shrugged.
Aiden walked with Stacey up the stairs to the beautiful house. He nodded his head, a little surprised he hadn't noticed a box in the house before. He opened the door for his wife.
"Where did he put it?" He asked, curious.
Stacey thought for a moment as she stepped through the door. "I think he said that it was going to be in the kitchen." Seeing Aiden`s confused look she added, "You said my dad helped you pick this place out, that means that he paid someone to bring it in when we weren`t looking." She explained hurridly, leading him back towards the kitchen.
When they got there, a large box was sitting on the island.
Aiden walked through the large archway into the kitchen. He squeezed Stacey's hand as he noticed the large white box sitting on the marble table.
"Honestly, your father does to much." He said with a smile curving on his lips. "You should open it."
Stacey smiled at Aiden comment. "Well, he`s the one that brings in mos tof the money." She explained. "He feels like he has to make up for my mom, even now that they`re divorced."
((Pretend that you already knew that.))
Without needing his instruction, Stacey carefully opened the box, popping the lid off of it gently. A gust of cold air hit ehr face and she peered over the edge of the box curiously.
"Oh." she giggled. She carefully pulled out a bucket full of ice. I it was a bottle of Muggle champagne (sp?). She started to pull out two more buckets, one with firewhskey and one with red wine. She giggled again.
Last, she pulled out a card. Turning back to aiden she read it.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Aiden Gray,
This gift is for you from James, and I hope you enjoy it.
Sincerely,
Your father.
Aiden smiled at the assorted drinks. They all looked expensive, he cringed at that, but they also looked rather nice.
"That was very thoughtful of him." Aiden pointed out, walking over beside Stacey and taking her hand and helping her get the bottles out of the box.
He then walked over to the cabnet, and grabbed two wine glasses.
"Would you like a glass Mrs. Gray?" He offered with a genuine smile.
Stacey grinned brightly, but not just at Aiden.
She took the glasses from him and set them on the island. "You, know, he really thinks a lot of you." she said softly as she popped the top of the wine bottle off. Foam bubbled from the end, but she didn`t let ay spill. she filled both of the glasses about half full of the red wine and handed one of the glasses to Aiden.
"He thinks more of you than he does of his own son." she added, putting the heavy bottle backon the counter. "To us." she toasted, raised her glass.
Aiden stood still for a moment as he processed that. He was more than relieved that Stacey's father accepted him into her life, but the fact that he actually thought that? He couldn't think of anything better. He was going to have to pay him back one day.
Before he toasted, Aiden hooked his arm around Stacey's.
"To us." He agreed with a large grin.
He gently hit his glass against hers.
Stacey beamed at Aiden, her eyes sparkling. She nodded as she clinked her glass against his, then tipped it back to touch her lips, letting the cool liquid run down her throat.
Aiden took a sip of the deliciously tasting wine. It had been awhile since he had tasted any sort of alchoholic drink, and this stuff was expensive.
"This stuff is nice." He said with a smile as he looked at Stacey.
Stacey just smiled and shrugged, taking another sip.
"Okay, present time." she smirked. She lead Aiden upstairs, back into their room, and took a small white box out of her suitcase. She then sat down on the bed and crossed her legs.
The box had a dark green ribbon wrapped aound it and a bow on top. She smiled mischeviously at her husband.
Aiden sat up off the bed for a moment to reach into his coat pocket, and pulled out a long shaped white box with a red bow on top. He sat back down on the edge of the bed with a grin.
"Here you go love." Aiden said, pushing the box towards her.
Stacey nudged the box with the green bow towards him.
"You first. You did all of this for me," She motioned around the room with a sweeping flick of her hand, "you open yours first."
((Should I open it and then see the pic or what?))
Aiden slowly took the box in his hands, and held it up. He untied the green bow, and opened the box.
((Lol. Just open it and be all like, OMG, it`s a watch! It`s silver. Rolex. Very expensie, but I`m not telling you how much.))
((Haha alright.))
Aiden opened the box, and inside it revealed a silver watch that shined in the light coming from the lamps around the room. He smiled brightly.
"This is great!" He exclaimed, putting it onto his wrist. A perfect fit.
"Thank you so much love." He said, leaning forward to wrap his arms around her.
Stacey grinned.
"I`m glad you like it. You`re really hard to buy for." She said softly, beaming at him. She was glad he hadn`tnoticed the small silver letters yet that read Rolex.
Aiden smiled, and turned his wrist over. He could now see the silver letters, he looked back up at Stacey.
"How much was this?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
Stacey wrinkled her nose with a large grin, flashing her perfect teeth.
"Enough," she answered. "Now, am I goingto have to wait to open mine?" she asked, changing the subject quickly.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders. He didn't want to have to make a fuss now. He would secretly pay her back one day without her knowing. Aiden pushed the white box towards her.
"Here you go love." Aiden said, smiling again.
Stacey grined brightly, guessing what the look in his eyes meant.
"Don`t even think about trying that." She mumbled before pulling the edge of the ribbon to make the bow fall apart.
She lifted the lid off of the box carefully and her eyes got wide as she saw the necklace. She picked it up carefully, the penant dangling from her fingers.
"It`s beautiful." she whispred.
Aiden was about to object, but stopped himself as Stacey opened her own present. He smiled even more now, his eyes glowing gold.
"You really like it?" He asked, watching her face.
Stacey nodded, speachless.
She rested the pennant in her palm and traced a delicate finger tip over the diamonds in it.
((I`m guessing they`re diamonds?))
((Mmhm they are.))
Aiden continued to smile, he leaned forward to give her a quick kiss on the cheek and a hug.
"I love you." He whispered in her ear.
Stacey hugged Aiden back, careful not to spill the wine she still held, not having put it down before sitting.
"I love you too." She whispered back.
Aiden leaned back, forgetting about the wine she held in her hand.
"I'm so happy you're my wife." He said with a large grin.
Stacey leaned forward, unhooked her arm from around Aiden, then leaned back. She smiled at him then took another sip of the dark liquid.
"You have no idea about how happy I am for being your wife." She replied.
He raised an eyebrow and grinned brightly. His were still shining in the late, along with the silver watch.
"I think I do actually." Aiden replied.
Stacey rolled her eyes and looked down at the necklace, then saw that she was still in her swimming suit.
"You know," She said, looking back up to her husband, "I would ask you to help me put this on, but I think I should get a shower first." She brushed her hand along her thigh and sand fell onto the blanket.
Aiden brushed some sand that was on his feet. He flipped his hair out of his eyes, some sand falling down from that too.
"Would you like me to cook something for you? It'l be ready when you get out." He offered, smiling.
Stacey smiled. "Sure, my moon." She said softly, standing up gracefully on the carpeted floor. "I`ll be done it about half an hour." She informed before grabbing some clothes and disappearing into the bathroom.
After a second she stuck her head out. "Do you want me to come down when I`m done? Or stay here?"
Aiden turned around towards the door, looking at Stacey.
"I'll bring it up here." He offered. He tried to think of something nice to cook up.
Stacey smiled and nodded before disappearing again.
~~~
Half an hour later, Stacey emerged from the bathroom with dry hair and a change of clothes. She now wore a black tank top and black shorts. She looked around the room silently, but didn`t see Aiden yet.
She shrugged and sank onto the bed. He said he would bring it up, she she wasn`t going to go downstairs. She found her almost empty wine glas on the bedside table. Sticking her feet under the covers, her picked it up and swirled the liquid around.
A few minutes later Aiden opened the door to the bedroom carrying a large tray. On the tray were two plates with fetteciuni (sp?) alfredo and a large bowl of fruit. He walked over to the bed, and sat down the tray beside them.
"Hope you like it." Aiden mumbled.
Stacey instantly beamed brightly as Aiden entered the room.
"Oh, wow." She mumbled, looking over the tray. "Thank you, this looks good." She picked up a fork and began to pick at it, sitting up.
Aiden grinned. He always liked cooking nice meals, and always hoped that he was good at it.
"Thanks love. I figured I would make you something nice. As a thank you." Aiden pointed out.
He took the bottle out of the wine cooler, and poured more in his glass. Then he offered some more to her.
Stacey nodded and lifted her glass so he could pour more into it.
"Well, thank you." she grinned, takin a sip from her glass then taking a bite of the creamy noodles.
Aiden sat the bottle down into the large silver cooler. He took a bite of a strawberry.
"You're welcome." He said with a large grin. "So, what would you like to do today?"
((It`s nighttime. You keep forgetting that it`s DARK!))
Stacey smiled and shurgged, her eyes glitering like the necklace that sat on the bedside table. She looked over at it often, admiring the way it sparkled in the dim light.
"I don`t know." She answered simply. She wasn`t going to sugest anything, not tonight. Aiden had kept the secret of the honeymoon from her for over a year, he could be the one to plan things.
"What would you like to do, my sand-man." She ran her hand down his arm, and sand fell with it.
((I'm bad with times! lol))
Aiden frowned at the fact that she hadn't picked anything. He hated picking. He smiled anyway as she rubbed the sand off his arm.
"I don't know. But who are you calling sand-man?" Aiden asked, raising an eyebrow and looking at the sand falling onto the floor.
"I should probably take a shower, too." He suggested, shrugging his shoulders.
Stacey leaughed, eating a strawberry. "I`m calling you the sand man, because you`re getting sand in my food." She teased, pretending to cover her plate with her hands.
"And do you know how many pins were in my hair today?" She asked. "Fourty-three." She asnwered, without waiting for him to guess. "Fourty-three bobby pins hoding those curls together. Not to mention the gold threads and pearls." She sighed dramatically, taking a bite of the noodles.
Aiden smiled and looked at Stacey's hair.
"I think your hair looks nice no matter how it looks." He said, raising an eyebrow.
Aiden took a quick bite of a banana slice.
"So, are you saying I do need to take a shower?" He asked with a grin.
Stacey grinned. "Well, I would prefer there not to be sand in my food." she pointed out teasingly.
"And if my hair looks good all of the time, are you saying I shouldn`t have done anything to it today?" She challenged.
Aiden smiled, and flipped his hair out of his eyes.
"Well, what I'm saying is that any you you do your hair it looks absolutely amazing." He pointed out with a grin.
Stacey giggled.
"That still doesn`t get sand out of my food." She complained teasingly.
Aiden hopped off the bed quickly, and grinned.
"Oops, sorry. I'll go take a quick shower, and be back in a moment love." He said with an apologetic smile.
Stacey laughed again.
"Fine, my moon." she replied, shaking her head and grinning down at her plate. She stabbed a noodle and waited for him to come back out.
About 15 minutes later, Aiden appeared out of the bathroom wearing some baggy dark colored shorts and a white sleeveless shirt. His hair was still wet which explained why he still carried a towel in his hand.
"Hello my love." He greeted her again with a smile. "I hope you didn't miss me." He teased.
Stacey grinned. She had finished her meal and put the tray on a small table near the door. She had pulled the covers up around her waist, and she had been admiring her wedding ring again.
"Hello, my moon." She replied, "And, yes, I missed you terribly." She batted her eyelashes dramatically and put her hand over her head like she felt faint.
Aiden smiled, and took her hand, rubbing his thumb over the back of Stacey's palm slowly.
"As I did you. I'm glad I'm back to save you." He said the last part with a playful smile.
Stacey beamed at him and gently pulled on his hand, bringing him closer to her.
"But what is there is save me from?" She asked softly.
Aiden scooted closer to her, his eyes still bright like they had been the second they had arrived.
"You tell me. Maybe monsters, ghosts, good-looking men wanting to steal you from me?" He suggested, smiling.
Stacey laughed merrily.
"I don`t think there`s more than one good looking guy up here." She said softly.
((Engh. This sounds weird when I think about it.))
((lol Why?))
Aiden shook his head and laughed.
"Maybe. But I know for a fact there are no good looking girls here, besides you." He pointed out.
((I`m on a sugar high. I`m awefully hyper. Everything sounds weird. XD ))
Stacey smiled and rested her head on his shoulder.
"Are you one hundred percent sure about that?" She asked, still teasing him.
((Hehe.))
Aiden ran his fingers through her hair slowly as she rested her head on his own shoulder.
"I'm absolutely sure." He said with a grin.
Stacey slowly lifted her head so she could look into his eyes. Her face ended up close to his.
"Absolutely?" She whispered, making it a question.
Her eyes shone with an inner brillinace. They seemed to glow from within themselves, and they almost sparkled.
Aiden grinned at how magnificently beautiful her eyes looked now.
"Absolutely." He clarified, his voice serious.
Stacey wrinkled her nose for a seconds, her cheeks flushing pink.
"Well, then..." She mumbled before presing her lips against his softly.
Aiden flashed a brilliant grin, even as he kissed her back he kept smiling. He still ran his fingers though her hair.
Stacey carefully turned onto her side so she was closer to Aiden. She couldn`t help but give a small smile as she continued to kiss him, her hand resting on the side of his neck.
Aiden turned to the side as well, matching Stacey. He kept one hand running through her hair as the other moved to the small of her back as he kissed her gently.
Stacey felt his hand on her back and her eyes sparked brightly. Where his hand touched felt hotter than the rest of her. She was overly aware of the fingers in her hair.
She freed her other hand from under herself and it found its way to the back of his neck, pulling him closer.
Aiden leaned back for a half a moment to take in a breath, before returning to continue the kiss. He parted his lips slowly, and kept his eyes closed softly.
Stacey took a breath as he did. She ran her fingers up through his hair, her other hand still caressing his neck. She ran herhand down his arm, her fingers just barely tracing over his skin.
He felt her fingers trace over his arm, slowly raising goosebumps on his skin. However, he barely noticed that. Aiden's eyes were bright under his closed eyelids as he moved the hand that was running through her hair, to caress the side of her cheek.
Stacey ran her fingers back up his arm and rested it on his neck again, her parted lips still moving with his.
Her eyes were bright under her closed lid-- so bright that you could almost see them glowing through her skin.
Aiden then moved his lips to her jawline before leaning back a half of an inch.
"I love you." He whispered suddenly in her ear before kissing her jaw again.
Stacey took a deep breath as Aiden moved to her jaw.
"I love you, too." she gasped softly, her chest rising and falling with her breathing.
Aiden flashed another brilliant smile, and took in a breath before kissing her lips again.
Stacey felt her hand fall to his chest, and she realized that Aiden was practically over her. She was basically on her back.
Aiden leaned his head back as she dropped her hands.
"Everything okay?" He asked, worried.
Stacey took a deep breath and smiled as she nodded.
"I`m perfectly fine. Never been better." She whispered truthfully.
Aiden smiled again now.
"Me too." He whispered back just as truthfully.
He slowly leaned forward to kiss her again.
((Gosh, he freaks out every time she breathes too fast!))
Stacey put one hand on the back of his neck again, parting her lips as she kissed him. Her lips brshed his ever so softly.
((lol Can't help it!))
He leaned forward again, closer this time. He kissed her back and parted his lips, not as gentle as before.
Stacey felt Aiden part his lips and that the kiss was no longer so gentle. She pulled him towards her, kissing him softly, but more agressively.
Aiden kissed her not so gently. He kept one hand caressed on her face, and the other on the side of the bed which he leaned on.
Stacey remembered that one hand still rested on his chest and she carefully grabbed his shirt and pulled him towards her, barely thinking.
Aiden leaned closer to her, and used his other hand to keep balance since he was pretty much on top of her. He kissed her with his eyes light.
((I HAVE FINGERS!!! When you get a change, Google "Harry Potter and the Ooh, Something Shiney" and watch it. It`s hilarious. Mean, but funny.))
Stacey leaned back to get a breath, but kissed him again, on hand on his neck and on hand on his chest.
((Hehe I just watched it, it's hilarious!))
Aiden took a quick breath as she leaned back, but only to continue as she leaned forward again.
(( ::) Do something. :P ))
Stacey pulled back again, but just slightly. The tip of her nose still touched his. She had moved a hand to his cheek.
((Like what?))
Aiden leaned forward as she leaned back without even thinking. He used one of his arms, and moved it to her waist. His entire felt warm as his heart pounded in his chest.
Stacey smiled as Aiden leaned forward. She kissed him quickly, her mouth moving with his.
Aiden grinned, and suddenly rolled over on the bed onto his back, pulling Stacey ontop of him. He chuckled quietly, and kissed her again.
When Aiden rolled over, their lips parted and Stacey giggled until her lips found his again. She put a hand on either side of his face.
Aiden smiled still as he kissed her back. He ran his fingers up Stacey's arm and wrapped it around the back of her neck, the other being against her back.
Stacey pulled herself closer to Aiden, her head above his. She broke this kiss, breahing slowly and deeply. Her nose almost touched his and her hands caressed his face.
Aiden leaned his head back into the pillow, and with his breathing fast he took in a deep breath.
"I love you." He repeated again in a whisper.
Stacey smiled and shook her head to herself. She leaned down and tilted her head so her lips brushed against his ear.
"I love you more." She breathed, then kissed the tender spot just below the corner of his jaw.
Aiden lifted his head as she kissed jaw. He took in another deep breath.
"I don't think so." He disagreed in a whisper.
"Sshhh." She whispered, resting a finger over his lips.
"Say you love me every waking moment,
turn my head with talk of summertime...
Say you need me with you now and always...
Promise me that all you say is true
that's all I ask of you
Then say you'll share with me
one love, one lifetime
let me lead you from your solitude
Say you need me with you here, beside you...
anywhere you go, let me go too
Aiden, that's all I ask of you..."
She sang softly, raising her head so she could look into his eyes.
Aiden listened quietly with a smile curving on his lips. It was a beautiful song, and when she finished it he repeated the first verse to Stacey.
"I love you every waking moment." He whispered quietly and sincerely, his eyes shining.
Stacey smiled and an her lips over his jaw, back and forth.
"Promise that all you say is true." She whispered. "Then say you`ll share with me, one love, one lifetime."
Aiden closed his bright eyes slowl, and swallowed. He was still smiling.
"I promise all I say is true, and I'll share my love with you, one love, love lifetime." He repeated slowly.
Stacey grinned and put her lips close to his ear.
"You didn`t have to repeat that." She whispered, kissing along his jaw.
Aiden took in another deep breath as he felt her breath in his ear.
"I know, I wanted to though." He explained quietly.
He silently wondered why they were speaking so quietly, however he didn't mind.
Stacey smiled and leaned back.
"I got really lucky, you know." She told him, her eyes shining at him.
Aiden leaned his head to the side curiously. He wrapped his arms around Stacey's waist.
"Lucky? How so?" He asked, looking into her eyes.
Stacey grinned again, propping an elbow up on his chest.
"Well, you tell me I`m beautiful so many times a day I can`t count them. You married me, and I look forward to every second of it. You... I don`t know." She gave up, and rested her head on his chest again.
"I love you, okay? And you love me back."
Aiden flashed her a brilliant smile again, unable to help it at all.
"I do. I love you so much." He repeated, his eyes glowing with sincerity.
Stacey smiled, her head still on his chest.
"I know, and that`s more than I could of asked for you. That`s why I`m lucky; because you love me."
Aiden shook his head slowly.
"No Stacey. I'm the lucky one." He insisted, wrapping his hands tighter around her waist. "I'm lucky that I have someone as wonderful as you that loves me back. I'm even more lucky because I'm married to this wonderful person, I get to see her, talk to her, kiss her...ever single day."
Stacey wrinkled her nose and burried her face in his chest, a light blush rolling across her cheeks. She lifted her head after a moment.
"Yes, but I`m married to the most wonderful man, and I get to see him, talk to him, kiss him... every single day." She said, copying his words.
Aiden smiled, his eyes bright and golden. He slowly ran his fingers through her soft hair absentmidedly.
"Good thing we're together then." He pointed out with a teasing grin. He leaned his head forward to kiss her forehead softly.
Stacey`s grin spread across her face, little teeth flashing in the lamplight.
"It`s a very good thing." She agreed as he kissed her forehead. Her hands fell to his shoulder and she squeezed them gently.
"You`re tense." She said, her forehead wrinkling.
Aiden grinned and raised an eyebrow.
"I'm tense?" He asked, looking at his arms. "How bad?"
Stacey put both hands on one shoulder and pressed the skin gently in a couple areas.
"Bad. Am I really that hard to deal with?" She teased, looking down at him.
Aiden leaned his head back, feeling relaxed as she massaged his shoulders.
"No way. You're very fun to deal with." He teased back.
Stacey rolled her eyes sarcastically and lifted herself to the side.
"Roll over onto your stomach, you have a serious knot in your left shoulder."
Aiden leaned forward, and used his arms to lift himself up, then rolled over onto his stomache.
"Better?" He asked, closing his eyes.
Stacey nodded, then realized that he couldn`t see it. "Yep." She asnwered, leaning over him on her knees.
She pressed her heel of her hand on his shoulders and genly began to work the knot out. "Tell me if I hurt you." She teased. She could actually hurt him by trying to work the muscles out, she hadn`t studied how togive massages or anything about muscles. she knew just enough where she thought she could do it, though.
Aiden layed there still, taking in deep slow breaths.
"Doesn't hurt at all." He pointed out quietly.
Stacey felt the muscle give way with a tiny pop. She winced. "Might soon." She mumbled under her breath, not really meaning for Aiden to hear.
She leaned over him more and almost fell on top of him. Laughing softly she sat up again. "Mind if I sit on your lower back. Maybe one of us won`t get anything broken." She joked.
Aiden chuckled, and lifted his head.
"Maybe? I'd like to come back from our honeymoon without any broken bones." He said with a playful smile.
Stacey laughed.
"I`m taking this as a yes." she teased back, lifting herself so she could sit on his back. Her hands would be parallel to his spine, less chance off injury.
Aiden chuckled again as she sat on his back.
"Comfortable?" He asked with a grin.
Stacey just rolled her eyes and worked out another large knot. It came loose with another pop.
"Doesn`t that hurt?" She asked, wincing herself.
Aiden turned his head to the side so he could see her.
"Not one bit, it feels good. Are you trying to hurt me?" He asked.
Stacey winced as another pop sounded.
"No, but it sounds like it would hurt." She said, working out a last knot.
Aiden shook his head, well the best he could even though he was laying down wth his face in a pillow.
"It makes me feel relaxed."
Stacey grinned.
She had worked out the last kinks from his back and shoulders, but she continued to roll her fingers and palms over his skin.
Aiden grinned too.
"You're really good at massages." He commented.
Stacey shrugged, still gently pushing on his back.
"I took a five day course when I was thirteen." she asnwered simply. "I`ve tried averything from cookig turtle to walking a tightrope."
Aiden turned his head more so he could see Stacey's face out of the corner of his eyes.
"I would give you a massage, but I don't think I'm that good at it." He said quietly.
Stacey smiled down at Aiden. "I`m sure you`d do fine." Sh assured.
She was working her hands up and down his spine, gentle and soothing at the same time.
Aiden grinned and closed his eyes again, feeling even more relaxed. He sighed deeply.
Stacey grinned as Aiden closed his eyes and sighed.
She continued to massage his back, his warmer skin warming her hands.
After a few quiet minutes, the lights began to flicker off. Stacey`s eyes were a static yellow as the lights turned off. They soon returned to blue after a few seconds. The bright light of the moon was leaking into the room, making it light in the room even though no energy was put into it.
Aiden opened his eyes as the lights turned off, surprised for a moment. He looked at Stacey from the corner of his eyes, the light from the moon shining on her.
"I think I like the moon light more." He said with a smile.
Stacey nodded. "I do too." she replied softly.
She gently graced her fingers over his back and shoulders, feeling the sloping line of his spine. She flattened her hands and pushed lightly on his back.
Aiden kept himself from closing his eyes this time. He scooted over to the side.
"Do you like giving me massages?" He asked.
((How can he scoot to the side? She`s sitting on him?))
Stacey shrugged, resting her hands on her thighs.
"It`s relaxing for me, too." She replied simply.
((Oops.))
Aiden took another deep breath.
"You should become a professional." He said with a smile.
Stacey shrugged again.
"It`s a Muggled proffesion." She dismissed. Carefully she lifted herself off of him and layed down beside him on her back.
Aiden rolled over on her back beside her. He turned his head to look at Stacey, and took her hand to entwine his fingers with hers.
"You're amazing."
Stacey squeezed Aiden`s hand, her eyes locked on his with an amused expression.
"What makes you say that?" She asked, tilting her head slightly so she look at him better.
Aiden leaned forward so that he leaned against his elbow. He looked down at Stacey.
"Everything about you makes me say that. Anyone would be blind if they didn't see it." He explained quietly.
Stacey smiled brightly, her eyes flashing to a glowing blue.
"You give me too much credit." She complained.
Aiden frowned and shook his head.
"No way." He disagreed, leaning forward. "You may think so, but I don't."
He suddenly flashed a large smile.
Stacey rolled her eyes, rubbing her thumb over his palm.
"How am I supposed to argue to that?" She asked sarcastically.
Really, the reason she was so well educated and rounded was because her mother had insisted and forced her into too many extra activities. It had taken a lot for her just tocome to Hogwarts.
Aiden smiled at her, his eyes glowing. He leaned down to kiss her hand.
"See. Maybe you'll agree with me now love." He said.
Stacey laughed softly, holding his hand close to her heart.
"And why would I do a silly thing like that?" She asked, her eyes shining.
Aiden held his hand there, feeling her heartbeat so he tried to keep still.
"Maybe we'd have less do disagree about. We both know that it's the truth anyway." He explained with a crooked smile.
Stacey grinned.
"That`s the only thing we argue about. That and who picks." She pointed out, her heart pulsing under their hands.
Aiden drummed his index finger against her chest at the exact beat of her heart.
"True. Perhaps you can pick all the time now?" He suggest halfheartedly, knowing she would disagree.
Stacey laughed once, her chest rising and falling with the quick exhale of air.
"You already know that`s not gonna happen." She teased.
Aiden frowned again. He leaned forward, his face close to hers.
"Please?" He whispered with a grin now.
Stacey shook her head slowly, her eyes never leaving his. There was laughter and happiness in her face.
Love will do that to ya.
Aiden leaned his face close to hers, the tip of his nose barely touching Stacey's.
"It would make things alot easier." He pointed out quietly, his eyes shining.
Stacey smiled, unable to shake her head. She found that one of her hands had found its way to his chest.
Funny how his eyes distracted her the way they did.
Aiden chuckled quietly under his breath.
"Mmhm." Was all he mumbled before leaning an inch forward to kiss Stacey.
Stacey kissed Aiden back, freeing her hand from his to gently touch his cheek, her colder fingers trailing down to his jaw.
Aiden leaned closer to her even more, using his free hand to gently rest on her collarbone with his fingers barely touching her neck as he kissed her.
Stacey parted her lips and ran her figers down his neck, her fingers barely tracing over his skin.
He was nearly over her. If her leaned over just slightly, he would have to balance his weight or fall on top of her.
Aiden, too, parted his lips with hers. He gently leaned forward without thinking. He kept his eyes closed, otherwise they would be brightly shining.
Stacey`s eyes flashed under her closed lids, changing to multiple, bright colors. Her fingers that she had run down his neck found the collar of his shirt.
Aiden leaned back for a fraction of a second, which seemed like too long for him, to take a quick breath. Then, he leaned forward again locking his lips with Stacey's, his eyes still closed. He moved the hand that was on her neck through her hair, behind her ear.
Stacey pulled in a breath as Aiden leaned away. She knew it had really been a short amount of time, but it had somehow felt much longer than that.
She felt his thumb behind her ear, but not much else. She was aware only of him. His pulse under her fingers. His weight over her. The way he smelled. The building could have been burning down around them and she wouldn`t have noticed.
Aiden leaned even closer to her, completely unaware of anything else of anything but her. He gently moved to the corner of her mouth, jawline, then to her collarbone before returning to kiss her on the lips again. His heart was racing fast as always.
Stacey`s head swam as she took deep breaths as he kissed her jaw and collarbone. She opened her eyes for a moment, and they were flashing bright colors. Hot pink. Lime green. Teal. Orange. They didn`t stop for more than a second.
Aiden`s lips covered hers again and she smiled, not realizing that the tips of her fingers had slipped under the collar of his shirt.
He moved his hand down to her side, resting it there while his other hand moved to caress around her cheek. He kissed her back, barely aware of anything else.
She felt Aiden`s hand rest on her side and she leaned forward and into him. Stacey felt her fingers curl around the collar of his tee shirt.
Aiden leaned closer to Stacey until he couldn't get any closer. He leaned only his head back to take another breath, only to lean forward again. He was barely aware of Stacey gripping onto his shirt, only aware of her.
Stacey took a gasp of a breath in the short moment they parted. Slowly and carefully her lips trailed to his jaw. She didn`t even realize that she was pulling on his shirt from the collar.
Aiden quickly threw his shirt to the ground. Then, he gently ran his fingers through Stacey's hair.
Stacey felt the fingers in her hair easily. They were warmer than she normally was. Both hands were pressed to his chest, her lips finding his again.
Aiden leaned forward again, closer to her. He leaned back for a moment, but this time to speak.
"I love you." He reminded her, barely opening his eyes but revealed their bright color.
Stacey smiled, seeing his bright eyes. Her own had finally settled on an electric blue.
"I love you, too." She grinned.
Aiden smiled, and opened his eyes more after he blinked a few times. He leaned forward to kiss her softly.
Stacey grinned, watching his eyes. She kissed him back softly, her lips just brushing against his.
Aiden kissed her back, even as he smiled. He leaned closer to her again, and closed his eyes once more.
Stacey closed her eyes, one hand on his chest and the other on the side of his neck.
Aiden moved one of his hands to wrap around her back, the other gently held onto her arm a little above her elbow. He kissed Stacey back, his entire body feeling warmer and his breathing quick.
Stacey felt Aiden`s arm go under and around her. She also felt her back arch slightly, but didn`t remember trying to. She parted her lips around his, her breath mixing with his.
He moved the hand that was around her arm to hold himself up. Aiden turned his head to kiss her neck, his eyes shined under his eyelids as his heart beat fast enough until it seemed as if it would burst out of his chest.
Stacey turned her head slightly to the side, breathing heavily. She hooked one arm around his neck, pulling him closer to her.
Aiden leaned closer to her, letting go of the hand that held him up, and wrapped it around her waist. He kissed her back, parting his lips against hers now.
Stacey smiled, her eyes sparking brightly. She gently pushed Aiden and roled over so she was over him.
Aiden grinned as he layed on his back. He leaned forward to kiss her back and dropped his hands to his sides.
Stacey parted the kiss, but her lips grazed his as she spoke.
"Has it sunk in yet?" She whispered softly.
Aiden put both of his hands on her waist.
"Has what sunk in?" He asked quietly, his eyes still closed and his breathing still fast.
Stacey smiled.
"You said that it still hadn`t sunk in that you get to spend the rest of your life with me. Has it sunk in yet?" She asked, her lips just barely brushing against his. She kept her eyes closed, but she didn`t need to open them.
The friction of rolling over had hiked her shirt up a few inches, but she didn`t notice.
Aiden grinned in understanding now. He gently drummed his fingers over her skin.
"I believe it has now. I still don't understand why you agreed to marry me though." He pointed out with a raised eyebrow, his eyes opened now.
Stacey smiled, opening her eyes.
"Because I love you, silly." She replied, as if that solved everything.
Aiden smiled crookedly, his white teeth shining in the moonlight.
"I love you too, silly." He repeated her with his eyes bright.
Stacey shook her head slowly.
"Then why do you question my choice? I think I chose correctly." She teased.
Aiden tilted his head to the side, taking a deep breath.
"Because I don't believe someone so amazing would love me."
Stacey beamed up at him.
"But I do, and you know it." She argued lightly, her eyes twinkling.
Aiden took one of her hands, and began to play with her fingers absentmidedly. He found that he couldn't look away from her eyes.
"Yes, and I still can't believe it." He pointed out quietly.
Stacey grined and sighed.
"You spoil me, ya know it?" She said, still smiling ear to ear.
Aiden shook his head, and smiled even more as she did so.
"Nope." He disagreed, making the P have a pop sound. "I try to give you what you deserve, what you should have. I still don't think I give you enough."
Stacey gave up and rested her head on his chest, closing her eyes.
"Well, I think you spoil me." She said softly, half-hoping that he wouldn`t hear.
His entire body shook as he chuckled. It wasn't hard to hear since she was only inches from his face. Aiden slowly ran his fingers through Stacey's hair.
"If you think so." He murmered quietly, giving in.
Stacey grinned. She knew he would hear her, but she thought his reacting was funny.
"I think so." she insisted.
Aiden took a strand of her hair and wrapped it around his fingers.
"You spoil me too."
Stacey shrugged as best as she could.
"So. I`m supposed to spoil you." she couldn`t help but laugh at herself.
Aiden grinned as she laughed, he kept playing with her hair without thinking about it.
"Whys that?" He asked, looking at Stacey.
Stacey sighed, as if it were supposed to be something obvious.
"Because I`m the one that has enough gold to buy a stupid small country and I love you." She said in her best little-girl voice.
Aiden stood still for a moment as he tried to think of a way to object.
"Will we ever agree about this?" He asked with a smile.
Stacey lifted her head, obviously acting.
"You`re disagreeing about loving me?" She asked, her face falling like a little child who was promised candy but got it taken away.
Aiden shook his head, not meaning for it to sound like that.
"No, I love you alot. You know that." He said.
((His head made a noise when he shook it?))
Stacey grinned and kissed him.
"I know, my moon." She teased.
((Sorry, didn't mean to put that lol.))
Aiden kissed her back, and smiled.
"I hope so love." He replied, rubbing his thumb over the back of her hand.
((It`s all good.))
Stacey smiled, looking down at there hands.
She had propped herself up on her elbow so she faced Aiden. Her eyes glittered a brilliant blue, not unlike a diamond. She felt utterly happy right here; perfectly in tune with the world. If nothing ever changed, she would still be happy. Right there in his arms.
Aiden ran his fingers up and down her back slowly. His heart was still pounding as his eyes were shining still. Neither would stop being that way soon. Aiden grinned at Stacey as he sighed.
Stacey grinned brightly, her white teth standing out in the darkness. The fingers running up and down her back were very soothing.
"What are you thinking about, my moon?" she whispered.
Aiden looked up at Stacey, leaning his head back into the pillow.
"Actually, I was thinking about how much this night couldn't get any better." He replied, slowly starting to grin.
Stacey grinned and kissed him again.
"Like I said, you spoil me." She rested her head against his chest, closing her eyes.
Aiden smiled as she kissed him. He rested his hand on the middle of her back, and sighed quietly.
Stacey smiled, her eyes still closed.
"What are you thinking now, my moon?" She asked softly.
Aiden leaned his head back, and grinned even more.
"Nothing, it doesn't matter. What about you?" He asked.
Stacey smiled widened.
"I does matter." She mumbled. "I`m thinking that I`m the luckyest person in the world right now." She replied.
Aiden shook his head.
"It doesn't matter." He repeated quietly with a grin, his eyes still closed. "I'd have to disagree with you. I think I'm the luckiest person because I'm here with you."
Stacey smiled and opened her eyes, looking up to meet his.
"Well, if that`s what you think..." She trailed off, smiling brightly.
Aiden opened his eyes, but only half way. The brightness of them could be seen even though his eyelids weren't fully opened. He took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling and his heartbeat was still fast.
"I think so." He insisted, knowing Stacey wouldn't agree.
Stacey grinned and kissed him again.
"Oh, well, then." She said softly, leaving her face close to his.
Aiden kissed her back, his lips curving in a smile. He leaned forward to kiss her again, but this time he made it longer.
After a few moments he leaned back less than an inch and said, "What are you thinking now?"
Stacey kissed him softly, smiling the whole time.
"I`m thinking that I`m still the luckiest person in the world." She whispered, kissing him again.
Aiden grinned back at her, his eyes glowing.
"And I still have to agree." He said, after she kissed him.
Stacey wrinkled her nose and rested her head on his chest again.
Sighing happily, she spoke. "You know, today was absolutely the most wonderful day in my life." She squeezed his hand.
Aiden grinned, his eyes still shining brightly despite the lack of light in the room.
"Mine too, you have no idea love." He replied quietly.
Stacey lifted her head and ran her free hand down his cheek.
"I love you." She whispered to him, her eyes glowing brightly.
Aiden sighed deeply, her fingers raised goosebumps on his neck and arms.
"I love you too, so much." He replied quietly.
Stacey grinned and rested her hands on her chest, too.
"Well, my moon, did you enjoy today?" She asked, kepping her eyes open so she could see him.
Aiden nodded his head with a large smile.
"Yes ma'am. I'll remember this day forever. And how was your day?" He asked casually.
Stacey laughed softly.
"My day was amazing." She teased.
"What was your favorite part?" she asked, running her fingers across his shoulder.
Aiden leaned his head back, thinking of a best part of the most amazing day of his life.
"Right now?" He suggested, if there was a favorite part.
Stacey laughed again.
"Right now sounds like a good time." she teased, tracing random patterns on his bare chest.
Aiden grinned, and nodded his head in agreement. He got goosebumps on his arms again.
"Are you tired?" He asked her.
Stacey laughed once more.
"I`m not going to be tired tonight, my moon." she said softly, running a finger tip over the edge of his lip.
Aiden kissed her finger softly.
"You know I won't be." He pointed out, smiling at his own unsual sleeping habits.
Stacey leaned forward to kiss him softly.
"I know you won`t be." She teased. "But I still love you."
Aiden kissed her back softly, keeping his hand under her chin.
"I still love you." He agreed with a grin.
Stacey smiled and kissed him again, her lips more urgent against his. One hand was still pressed against his chest but the other was on the side of his neck.
Aiden kissed her back, moving his free hand across her back. He closed his eyes slowly, they had still been light since the second they'd arrived.
Stacey smiled and parted her lips. Her lips moved against his quickly, one hand playing in his hair.
Aidean parted his lips with hers. He moved the hand that was on her chin to caress her cheek, her let lead since he was against the pillow.
Stacey rolled over, pulling Aiden on top of her. She broke the kiss for just a moment to breath, then locked her mouth against his again. One hand was knotted in his hair and the other was running over his chest.
Aiden took a breath as she did, only to return to the kiss less than a moment later. He used both of his arms to hold himself over Stacey as he kissed her softly.
Stacey hooked one arm over his neck, holding him closer to her. Her lips moved along his jaw until she reached the corner of his jaw. She kissed the hollow under his ear.
He leaned to the side so that he had one hand to balance himself up. Now, the other ran through Stacey's hair as she kissed his jaw and ear.
Stacey`s lips trialed back to his in a series of soft kisses. She let the hand in his hair trail down to his chest while the other caressed his neck.
She was hardly aware of anything again. She just felt the warmth from Aiden`s body and the cool light from the moon.
Aiden kissed her back, leading this time. He kissed her lips gently, then not so gentle and soft anymore. He was vaguely paying attention to his own fast paced breathing.
Stacey smiled, letting him lead her. It was like a dance, and he led it like he was supposed to. She pressed herself against him; the line of his body felt like a line of hot glass hovering over her.
Aiden kissed her slowly. Even with his eyes closed he could tell she was smiling, this made him smile, too.
Stacey smiled wider, and ran her fingers through his hair again. She had one hand on his back, holding him to her.
Aiden kept himself pressed against her. His lips were gentle against hers again as his eyes were bright under his closed eyelids.
Stacey broke the kiss, breathing heavily. She opened her eyes, whish were still brillinat and glowing. They shined like little lanterns in the night.
Aiden slowly opened his eyes, and took in deep breaths. He noticed her eyes which shined despite the darkness in the room. He slowly grinned again, and rubbed his thumb over her cheek gently.
Stacey beamed and turned her head to kiss his palm.
"I love you." she reminded.
Aiden smiled even more, and ran his fingertips over her lips.
"I love you, too. So very much." He replied sincerely.
Stacey grinned. She took his hand and kissed each of his fingertips.
"what are you thinking about, besides how wonderful I am?" she teased.
Aiden chuckled, and tilted his head to the side. He used his other hand to hold himself over her.
"Couldn't you read my mind?"
Stacey shook her head, running a finger across his nose gently.
"No, my moon. No one is around with the power to read minds, so I cannot. I can only tell that you are happy." She smiled up at him and kissed him again, smiling.
Aiden grinned, and kissed her back. He silently wished he could read minds.
"You really want to know what I was thinking?" He asked a moment later.
Stacey nodded.
"Of course, my moon. Your mind is fascinating." She now ran her finger over his lip again, then along his cheekbone.
Aiden laughed a low chuckle.
"I was thinking of how good of a kisser you are." He replied rolling his eyes at his own stupid thoughts.
Stacey laughed and her eyes gleamed.
"You aren`t so bad yourself." She teased.
Aiden laughed, and shook his head.
"Well, thanks love." He said with an amused smile.
Stacey grinned.
"Anytime." She replied, running her finger over his ear. "What else are yoy thinking?" She asked after a moment.
Aiden kept still as she ran her finger over his ear, it raised goosebumps on his arms.
"Thinking about our house, actually. I can't wait for you to see it." He replied, making sure he didn't give anything else away.
Stacey wrinkled her nose, knowing that he didn`t give anything away on purpose.
"Oh, I guess I`m not going to bug you about details. I want the house to be a surprise." She gave up.
"When do I get to see it?" She asked, her eyes widening slightly with excitement.
Aiden grinned, and used his fingetip to touch the tip of her nose.
"Soon." He promised. "You'll love it though."
Stacey grinned and striahgtened her nose unfer his figner.
"Of course I will-- you picked it out." She said in a matter-of-factly tone.
Aiden dropped his hand to hold himself up again, and smiled.
"Well, you know I'd love to live with you anywhere, even if it's a cave. But I tried to make it nice." He replied.
Stacey laughed again, smiling widely.
"Oh, my moon, the same goes for me and you know it." She teased, resting her hand on his shoulder.
Aiden slowly leaned in to kiss her softly, but only for a moment.
"I can't wait to move in together." He replied, his face close to Stacey's.
Stacey`s eyes pulsed brightly as he kissed her.
"I can`t either." She replied, leaning her head forward to kiss him again.
Aiden smiled again as she kissed him. He tried to take slow breaths this time. He closed his eyes slowly as his lips met hers.
Stacey leaned away again, breaking the kiss slowly.
"Can you tell me what it`s like?" she asked, opening her eyes to meet his.
Aiden slowly opened his eyes again, revealing their bright color once more.
"What whats like?" He asked quietly.
Stacey blinked.
"The house." She explained. "How many rooms does it have? What color is it? Basic stuff that doesn`t really give much away."
Aiden shook his head slowly, and smiled brightly.
"Nope. I'm not giving anything away yet. You'll have to wait." He replied.
((By the way, when are you going to post that?))
Stacey gasped dramatically.
"Why not?" She complained. Why can`t I know how many rooms there are? Or the color of the roof? Thise aren`t very improtant things."
((Soon. I was going to post it earlier, but I didn't know what was going to happen with all the recent drama.))
Aiden chuckled lowly, his eyes shining.
"I don't want to give anything away, and I mean anything. I want everything to be a surprise." He answered.
((I think it should be okay to post it whenever you`re ready, now.))
Stacey sighed heavily.
"Alright." she gave in, kissing him quickly and smiling.
((I`m curious.))
((I'll send you a PM about it tomorrow.))
Aiden grinned as Stacey sighed. He leaned in closer, making the kiss last longer.
((It is tomorrow!))
Stacey grinned and he kissed her again. She lifted her hand to her cheek.
((I'm typing it on my computer. lol))
Aiden kissed her slow and gentle. He kept his hands on either side of her as he leaned over her.
((Type faster! I`ll have to get off at ten thirty, but I`ll be back on a while after that.))
Her other hand drifted to his neck, the other still on his cheek. She closed her eyes, which were still glowing. You could tell what color they were just by looking at her closed eyes.
Aiden felt her cool hands move to his neck and cheek. It felt good against his naturally hot skin. He kissed her back, slowly getting faster.
Stacey liked the feel of his hot skin against hers, and she didn`t move her hands for a moment, enjoying the heat he gained from his powers. In the opposite way, Stacey`s skin was slightly cooler because of how often she used a vampire`s powers. She didn`t realize unil too late that borrowing people`s powers changed her.
Her eyes glowed luminously; they were a bright shade about the color of the moon.
Aiden kissed her back softly again. He leaned for a moment to take a breath of air. As he did so he opened his eyes, revealing the even more brightly color gold. His heart pounded in his chest again as he breathed quickly.
Stacey breathed as he did, one hand falling to his bare chest, just over his heart. She felt its pulsing beat, and it almost matched her own.
Aiden grinned at her, unable to stop himself from doing otherwise. He felt peaceful here. It was nice. He kissed her forehead softly.
Stacey smiled.
"What?" She asked.
Aiden leaned his head back to look at Stacey.
"What what?" He asked, repeating her question.
Stacey wrinkled her nose.
"Why did you smile down at me and kiss my forehead." She simplified.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, and layed over on his side. He took in a deep breath, and turned his head to look at Stacey.
"Hmm... First is I can't help but smile when I look at you, and second is I like to kiss you. Does that make sense?" He asked, wondering is she understood the way he explained it.
Stacey laughed and rolled onto her side so she could look at him.
"Then what are you thinking?" She asked once again.
Aiden turned so he was laying on his side. He rested his head against his arm, and raised an eyebrow.
"What are you thinking?" He said with a grin, repeating her question.
Stacey grinned, staring up at him.
"I`m thinking that youare the most wonderful, perfect, and most attractive human being I`ve ever seen." She replied, playing with his hand.
Aiden grinned and rolled his eyes over dramatically.
"I know I'm not, but you on the other hand..." He said, his eyes bright.
Stacey laughed again.
"Oh, stop being so sardoodledum." She teased.
((Haha. I love that word. >.<))
Aiden chuckled, and shook his head as if he didn't know what she meant.
"Sardoodledum?" He repeated the funny sounding word.
Stacey laughed and nodded.
"Mello dramatic." She explained.
Aiden laughed again as she did. He couldn't help but smile.
"I'm being mellow dramatic?" He asked.
Stacey smiled and traced abstract patterns against his chest.
"Not really, but you`re disagreeing with me when I say that you are amazing."
Aiden looked down and watched Stacey absentmidedly trace patters on him.
"It's the truth." He replied. "Besides, you're amazing for the both of us."
Stacey wrinkled her nose but leaned forward and kissed him quickly.
"If only you could see yourself from my point of view." She said as she shook her head.
Aiden kissed her back, and grinned.
"I would see the ugly, dumb, idiot that you refuse to see." He pointed out, looking at her eyes which were of course magnificent.
Stacey took his face in her hands, supporting herself with her shoulder.
"You are not ugly. You are not dumb. And you are not and idiot." She said seriously, her eyes on his.
Aiden looked at his wife's eyes, he would rather look there forever than anywhere else in the universe.
"Then what am I?" He asked, not really wanting to know the answer.
Stacey raised an eyebrow.
"You are amazing. You are witty. You are smart. You are kind. You are beautiful, inside and out. You are my husband." She said that as if it solved the matter.
Aiden grinned, and kissed her hand.
"Now, where do I begin with you. It may take awhile." He said.
Stacey shook her head.
"Don`t even start," She said. "You`ve said so much about me already, I don`t need to hear more. I know that you love me. I know that you think I`m the greatest thing that`s walked the earth, and I think the same of you." She said honestly.
Aiden tilted his head to one side, and flipped his dark hair out of his bright eyes.
"That pretty much sums it up." He said with a grin.
Stacey sighed and pushed his hair back into his eyes with a smile.
"I love you." She said in a defeated tone.
Aiden grinned and looked at Stacey through the hair that covered his eyes.
"I love you too." He repeated.
Stacey smiled and her eyes flashed brightly again. She leaned forward and kissed him again, but it was urgent instead of quick.
Aiden kissed her back gently. He closed his eyes, a little surprised by her urgency.
Stacey smiled and leaned over him, one hand finding his its way to his neck.
Aiden leaned his head back into the pillow as she leaned over him. He caressed his hand against her cheek gently.
One of her hands fell to his chest, and she wrapped her hand around the back of his neck, holding him to her.
Aiden pulled Stacey closer to him, securing his arm around her waste. He kissed her back, not as gentle as before.
Stacey was now hovering over Aiden, the hand on his chest and his arm around her kep her suported. She parted her lips, her eyes glowing magnificently.
Aiden bent one of his legs, and moved one of his hands to the back of her neck. He parted his lips with hers, his eyes too glowing while they were closed.
As Aiden bent his leg, Stacey`s legs fell to the sides so a knee was on either side of him. Her eyelids glowed a bright blue, but she wasn`t aware of that. She was only aware of Aiden.
Aiden moved the hand that was at her waiste, to the small of her back. He kept his eyes closed, and attempted to keep his breathing under control this time.
Stacey pulled away for a moment to take a breath. She had one hand flat against his chest, and the other was still at his neck. She could feel the heat from his hand on her back and on her cheek.
Stacey's skin felt cool against his which felt good. Aiden pulled Stacey closer, a smile on his lips.
Stacey took in a sharp breath as Aiden pulled her closer. She was pressed against him, now.
Her eyes glowed through her closed lids as she kissed him quickly.
Aiden leaned his head back farther in the pillow so he could breath for a moment. After a few quick breaths he quickly kissed her again. He moved one of his hands to her waist.
Stacey breathed as he did, keeping her eyes closed. They shone through her closed lids.
She hooked one arm around his neck and rolled over, pulling him with her.
Aiden rolled with Stacey, and chuckled for a moment. He kissed her back, caressing both of his hands against her cheeks softly.
Stacey grinned as Aiden laughed at her. She put one hand over his, interlacing her fingers with his.
Aiden softly and slowly kissed her back. He couldn't help but smile still. He squeezed her hand softly.
((Somethin`s gotta happen sometime soon. We can`t just do a bunch of one liners about them kissing and smiling. =P))
Stacey pulled back slowly, breathing heavily. She smiled up at Aiden, opening her eyes, which were still glowing.
"I love you." She reminded.
((lol then what?))
Aiden watched her eyes, his own eyes still bright.
"I love you, and I hope you realize I'll never love anyone as much as you." He replied quietly.
Stacey smiled and ran a finger over the edge of his bottom lip.
"I already know, my moon, because I know that I feel the same way." She said softly, her voice just a soft whisper.
Aiden stood still as she traced her finger over his lip.
"Mind if I ask you something?" He asked her quietly.
Stacey nodded slowly, now tracing her finger over his jaw. Her eyes had begun to sparkle now, instead of shine. They glimmered as they moved as if her pupils were covered in glitter.
Aiden felt her fingers trace over his jaw. It rose goosebumps on his arms again. He lifted head to look at her eyes, unable to hide the smile that came to his lips every time.
"When you first met me...you chose me over Nate. How did you know?" He asked quietly.
Stacey lifted her eyes to his, a thoughtful expression on her face.
"You know, it was just a feeling. You just seemed more... true, I guess. I can`t explain what it was." She played with his hand hand.
"Why?" She asked now.
Aiden looked at Stacey, reading the thoughtfullness on her face. He tilted his head to one side, his own expression curious. He felt Stacey playing with his hand, and he looked down to watch her.
"I was only wondering. I hope you don't mind me asking you questions." He pointed out, hinting that he had more to ask.
"Not at all, ask away." She replied, easily getting his hint.
"You deserve to know anything you want to know about me. What`s mine is yours, remember?" She teased him.
Aiden gently ran his pale fingers through her brown hair absentmidedly. He eyes looked as if he was thinking about something hard. His expression almost looked distant.
"How long had you known Nate before you met me?" Aiden asked his wife quietly his eyes watching his hand.
He wasn't really curious about Nate, it was Stacey he was wondering about.
Stacey closed her eyes as Aiden`s fingers went through her hair. She could tell that he was thinking hard, probably for the right questions.
"Probably two years," she answered, "He was the one that really made me find myself again after Niles left." She didn`t wince or anything as she said his name like she used to. Niles ahd indeed scarred her for life, but that was in the past, now, she didn`t have to worry about it.
Aiden narrowed his eyes at something that wasn't there. He ground his teeth together as he remembered Niles. His eyes were still looking at her hair, his expression thoughtful once more.
"How long did you date Niles?" He asked quietly, hoping she wouldn't mind this question.
Stacey opened her eyes and chewed the inside of her cheek, thinking.
"Well, we never exactly said when we started to 'go out.' It just... kind of happened. I mean, he helped me get my life back, basically. I was a monotone for months, until I met him. I did nothing. School work. That was it. I didn`t have any friends until after Niles left." She set her jaw a certain, stubborn way.
She had almost killed Niles when he came back. Twice, actually. It would have been so easy, too, but she didn`t. She could fight fire with fire, but not life with death.
Aiden nodded once more, unable to control the change in color in his eyes. He didn't like Niles very much. Aiden leaned his head farther back in his pillow.
"Do you ever miss Niles, or Nate for that matter?" He asked her suddenly.
Stacey frowned as she saw Aiden`s dark eye color.
"Honestly, I couldn`t care less about Niles. He could disappear off the face of the Earth, for all I care. And... Nate... well, I miss him like a brother." That was actually true, too. It wasn`t a lie. She cared about Nate, but not like that anymore. He was better off without her and she was better off without him.
Aiden nodded once more. He noticed her frown so he tried to grin for her. He tilted his head to the side again.
"Ah, I see." He replied simply.
Aiden lifted his head.
"Anything you'd like to ask me?"
Stacey started tracing patterns on his bare chest again.
"Hmm, I never asked you if you`ve ever had pets, or if you`d like pets." She stated.
Aiden looked down as he watched her trace patters on his chest.
"Well, I had a dog awhile, but besides that I never had nay pets. I don't like cats very much, my uncle is allergic anyway." He pointed out.
Stacey smiled.
"Do you ever want pets?" She asked. "Any kind of pets. Except a dragon." She winked playfully at him.
Aiden's body shook as he chuckled lightly. He thought of having a dragon as a pet, and grinned.
"A pet would be cool, but I'm not sure what I'd like. What about you, any pets you'd like?" He asked, looking at Stacey.
Stacey grinned, and her body shook as Aiden laughed.
"I don`t know. I like dogs." She smiled, her eyes sparkling mischeiviosuly.
Aiden ran his fingers through her hair again. He slowly watched his hand with his bright eyes. He half smiled.
"What kind of dog?" He asked.
Stacey smiled again and carefully shrugged.
"I don`t know. What kind of dogs do you like?" She asked, wanting his opinion.
Aiden dropped his hand from her hair, and folding them over each other on his bare chest. He took in a deep breath.
"Well, let me ask you this. Do you like big dogs, or small dogs?" He asked.
Stacey grinned broadly.
"Why do you have to make it difficult. All I want is your opinion." She ran a finer over his hand and knuckles.
Aiden laughed a deep chuckle. He made a face as he thought for a moment.
"Well, I grew up with small dogs, but I'm not sure if I want a small dog. However, big dogs are well...big and loud. I don't know." He said giving up with a grin.
Stacey smiled.
"Not all big dogs are big and loud. I`m not talking about a Great Dane on anything. But what kinds of dogs do you like?" She asked, still wanting his opinion.
Aiden tapped his thumb over his other hand as he thought.
"Well, when I was young I had a welsh corgi and a husky, but the husky died before it got very big. Besides them two I don't know much about dogs." He admitted.
Stacey smiled again, her eyes still glowing brightly.
"Do you like huskies, then?" She asked, really pushing for only his opinion. It wasn`t often that he gave his opinion, but she wanted it now.
Aiden grinned as she smiled, unable to help himself. He couldn't control the feeling of calm happiness he felt around Stacey.
"Yeah, they're cool." He replied, silently wishing to himself he could read Stacey's mind. "And you?"
((Can you post in I`m Awake and New Life. It`s in Around the Grounds.))
Stacey grinned triumphantly. "Huskies are cool." She said softly, making sure not to seem for or against them. Her white teeth flashed in the dim light.
"What about cars? What kind of cars do you like?"
Aiden tilted his head to the side, and chuckled as she grinned.
"Cars. Hm...Well, fast cars of course." He answered with an even larger smile.
Stacey laughed as he did, her eyes shining. She liked fast cars.
"Okay, fast cars. Make? Model? Year?" She asked. She already had three cars of her own, and all of them were fast and running perfectly.
Aiden layed his hands still again on his bare chest. His heart skipped a beat as she laughed.
"Well, a 1973 corvette." He repeated, remembering the conversation on the beach. "They're my favorite."
Stacey nodded slowly, her eyes swirling purple thoughtfully.
"What about colors? Black?" She asked, looking hopefully down at her husband.
Aiden watched her eyes change colors before his very eyes. He couldn't help, but lose his train of thought for a moment.
"Yeah, I like black. Now what about you?" He asked.
Stacey waved a wand in dismissal.
"I have three cars. I don`t need more." She said, drawing a finger over his hand. "What else? What do you think about.... I don`t know.... backyards. What do you like in your backyards?"
She made a face as she said it, thinking that it sounded weird. Which it did, from ehr point of veiw.
Aiden tried to the hide the smile on his lips. He drummed his fingers over his chest, thinking.
"Well, how do you mean?"
Stacey grinned and shrugged.
"I don`t know. What do you think would be nice in a backyard? A hammock? Lots of trees? No trees? What?" She asked.
Aiden started drumming his fingers with his other hand as well.
"A hammock, trees but not too much, maybe small pond. Any other ideas?"
Stacey smiled and put a hand over one of Aiden`s, stopping his fingers from drumming.
"Nope, that sounds really nice." She said softly.
Aiden slowly flipped his hand over, and slid his fingers between hers.
"Anything else you want to add?"
Stacey grinned and laced her fingers through his.
"No. That sounds amazing." She said evenly.
He now started to drum his fingers against her hand.
"Good. I'll make sure I have all that." He replied with a smile.
Stacey wrinkled her nose then kissed Aiden quickly.
"You give me too much." She said softly, her eyes turning an amused purple.
Aiden made a face, but couldn't help but smile as she kissed him.
"No, I do not." He corrected her. "I give you what you deserve."
Stacey smiled and kissed him again the same way she did before.
"Then I deserve less than what you give me." She said with a sideways grin.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, smiling more as she kissed him.
"You don't deserve less, you deserve much more." He emphasized.
Stacey brinned broadly.
"Whatever you say Mr. Gray." She teased, kissing him once more.
Aiden's eyes shot a bright color again as they had been earlier.
"Mrs. Gray." He teased back.
Stacey laughed softly.
"You know, the joke`s on you because you`re the one married to me." She poked his cheek playfully.
He leaned back into the pillow, resting his arms crossed behind his head. He sighed, feeling relaxed.
"And you say that like it's bad why...?" He said with a grin.
Stacey laughed again.
"Absolutely no reason at all." She said softly. "Tell you what, you can only call me Mrs. Gray when you are utterly, and completely happy." She smiled and rested her head on his chest.
Aiden's bottom lip curved in a frown. It wasn't genuine, but only for show.
"Well, Mrs. Gray I suppose you have to follow the same rules I do." He pointed out.
Stacey lifted her head.
"Well, I`ll just have to change that, Mr. Gray." She whispered, then leaned forward and kissed him teasingly.
Aiden was about to laugh, but as soon as she kissed him he lost his train of thought. He slowly dropped one of his hands, and ran it down to her waiste.
"If you want me to change my mind, you'll have to do better than that." Aiden teased, leaning back but kept his face close to hers.
Stacey just smiled in reply, a line of heat following his hand as it trailed to her waist.
She kissed him once more, but held it out longer, making it more passionate.
Aiden smiled again as she kissed him, his grin fully reaching his eyes. He closed his eyes slowly, and moved the hand that was rested against his head to the side of her neck. He couldn't help but think in his mind how lucky he was.
Stacey closed her eyes, too, and ran one of her hands up into his hair, knotting her fingers through his hair. She kissed him gently, her lips soft against his.
Aiden took deep slow breaths, kissing her just as slow. He ran the hand that was on her neck, through her soft hair.
Stacey could feel his figners through her hair, and his hand on waist, but that was about it beside his lips. She kissed him back softly, one of her hands falling to his chest.
Aiden ran the finger that was through her hair down to the hand that was on his chest. He took her hand softly, and kissed her back without think about thinking about anything other than Stacey.
As soon as his hand touched hers, Stacey could feel the higher heat of his skin. She took in a sharp breath quickly, pressing her lips against his.
Aiden rolled over on his right side so that he was over Stacey. He used his knee to hold himself over her as he parted his lips and kissed her passionately. He could hear his heartbeat quicken and his breathing get heavier.
Stacey`s lips parted and she hooked one of her arms over his neck. She gently pulled on his bottom lip, her fingers in his hair.
Aiden leaned down closer to her as he couldn't help but show the smile that spread across his lips. He ran his arm down Stacey's neck to her shoulder than her side.
Stacey grinned as she felt Aiden smile. Her eyes flashed brightly under her closed lids as his fingers sent a line of fine down her neck.
Aiden kept his hand on her waiste, feeling the way his fingers were unnaturally hotter against her skin. He leaned forward, close to Stacey as he kissed her back more softly again.
Stacey kissed Aiden back softly, her lips moving with his. She was breathing heavily, but she didn`t notice. She had one hand against his chest and the other arm flung over his neck, holding him to her.
Aiden leaned himself over Stacey, kissing her back gently as his breathing began to get quicker. He caressed her cheek softly in his palm as his hand slid across her stomache onto her side.
Stacey`s fingers ran through his soft hair, her other hand having moved to brush her fingers along his jaw. The moonlight streamed into the room from the balcony, and shone on them. As Aiden moved his hand across her, the edge of her tank top raised slightly, showing a line of her pale skin.
Aiden leaned down, holding his strong frame against hers as he kissed her back gently. He moved his hand back to her stomache slowly.
Stacey`s eyes flashed brightly as Aiden`s fingers touched her stomach. She pulled on his bottom lip softly, her fingers sliding into his hair again.
Aiden leaned his face closer to hers, kissing her back more quickly. One of his hands slid down her neck and around to the back, while the other hand gently traced his fingers across her stomache and on the edge of her tank-top.
Stacey`s back arched slightly as Aiden`s hand touched her neck. The heat of his skin felt like a small shock against her stomach and she kissed Aiden back with more enthusiasm than before.
Aiden slowly lifted the hand that was on the back of her neck through her hair, pulling a few locks gently. He kissed her back more passionately as his other hand ran from her stomache back to her side.
Stacey felt Aiden`s fingers through her hair and she grinned. She ran her hand down his chest and turned over, pushing him with her so she landed on top of him.
Aiden opened his eyes slowly, the crooked grin on his face suddenly getting wider and fully meeting his eyes. He chuckled, and gently pulled Stacey down to meet his lips again.
Stacey smiled and put one hand against his cheek, the other on his chest. Her eyes were glowing a magnificent blue through her closed lids and almost pulsing with light.
Aiden moved his hand and ran it up and down her back as he closed his eyes again. He leaned his head back into the pillow to get another quick bit of air before continuing the kiss.
Stacey`s lips trailed across his jaw, her lips teasing. Her fingers knotted in his hair and her knees fell to either side of him.
Aiden kept his eyes closed tight as he took quick breaths. He moved his hand back to her side and kept it there, keeping the other in her hair.
Stacey`s eyes pulsed brightly as her lips found the small hollow under the corner of his jaw. She kissed that hollow slowly, gently pullig on his hair.
He leaned his neck back as she kissed his neck. Goosebumps rose on his arms as he pulled her hair softly again, and his hand gripped her waiste gently.
Stacey`s lips paused for a moment against his skin. She could feel the goosebumps on him, and she shivered slightly.
"I love you." She grinned into his skin before kissing him softly on the lips.
((Should we have a time laspe? I think you and I know what`s gonna happen.))
Aiden kissed her back softly. The moonlight from the window reflected the bright color in his eyes as he opened them slowly.
"I love you too." He said, leaning back to speak.
((Sure. Go ahead.))
((Okie dokie then.))
~~~
Stacey woke of, but just barely. Her head was turned towards the window, and she could see the blurred image of the moon. She could fel something touch her hair, and she closed her eyes. She heard a calming sound, but couldn`t tell what it was or where it was coming from. Within seconds she was asleep again.
~~~
Stacey woke up again, but this time for real. She didn`t open her eyes, and took a slow, deep breath. She could feel sunlight on her back, and her hair was spread across one of her shoulders. The familiar heat of Aiden`s hand was on the middle of her back and she couldn`t help but smile.
"Good morning." She whispered softly.
Aiden slowly opened his eyes, waking up as he felt someone stir next to him. His eyes were barely opened as sunlight streamed into the room. He was unable to make out whether it was early in the morning or closer to noon.
Aiden slowly stretched one of his arms and let it fall, his hand in Stacey's hair. He slowly turned over on his side, facing his wife. He leaned his head against his other arm.
"Morning love." Aiden replied, his voice sounding drowsy.
Stacey smiled, opening her eyes to reveal their color--white.
She pulled the sheet up around her and rolled onto her side so she face Aiden. She lifted her hand and ran her fingers through his hair, pushig it out of his eyes.
Aiden rubbed his eyes with his hand, and yawned quietly. He blinked a few times, and looked at Stacey. He slowly began to sigh, but it was a happy sound. He was surprisingly wide awake for just having woke up.
"Your eyes, they're white?" He pointed out, never having seen them that color before.
Stacey screwed up her eyes, as if she were looking at her nose, and made a confused face.
"White?" She asked. Her eyes had never been white before. It had been the one color that they couldn`t change to. No matter how hard she tried, they wouldn`t change to white. She could get close to it, but not exact. And this wasn`t just a plain white, either. No, it was a magnificent white; the kind of white that you know is made of all of the colors put together.
Stacey couldn`t tell that her eyes were white, at first. See, the only way that she knew what color her eyes were, was because each color had a certain feel. It was true that she could sometimes make her eyes change to any design she wanted, but that was different. Her eyes controlled themselves, she very rarely had any control of their changing.
"They`re white?" She asked again.
Aiden leaned his face a little closer to Stacey's. The color, the magnificent color was hard to ignore. White usually seemed like a boring color to him, plain and boring. However, this white was quite amazing, like a truly different color of it's own. He found himself unable to look away.
Aiden tried not to lose his thought as she asked him again. He nodded slowly.
"White." He repeated quickly.
He tilted his head to one side, flipping his dark hair out of his eyes.
"And not just any white either." He added.
Stacey smiled.
"You never think that my eyes are just eyes." She reminded. "White, huh." She sighed. "I wonder why--" She suddenly blushed and giggled.
((Go short posts!!!))
((lol I've been trying to make my posts longer but I'm horrible at it. I don't have a very big vocabulary.))
Aiden smiled as his eyes glowed still. They were his natural color, but inside the brown were gold specks with a gold line on the outside. Interesting, for they had never been that color either. His teeth were shining in the early morning light. Or was it the afternoon? He still wasn't sure of the time.
Aiden slowly reached his hand over, and took Stacey's. He tangled his fingers with hers, and looked at the ring that shown on both of their fingers. He slowly leaned down, and kissed her lips softly before leaning back.
"I love you." Aiden said suddenly, a full grin still on his face and shining his eyes.
((Its okay! It`s awesome that you`re trying to make them longer.))
A large grin spread across Stacey`s face as Aiden kissed her. She giggled again and snuggled into the sheet.
"I lvoe you too." She replied, gently squeezing his fingers. She moved her free hand and brushed his hair out of his eyes. They were magnificent. She had never seen them like that, and she was stunned.
((Try is the key word. lol.))
Aiden's full smiled spread larger across his face at the sound of her soft giggle. Without realization, his stomache suddenly felt warmer. He quickly ran his hand through his dark hair, looking at Stacey.
Aiden layed his head back into the comfortable pillow. He dropped the arm that he was leaning against, and wrapped it around Stacey slowly as he slowly pulled the sheet over him more.
"Really?" He questioned, obvious teasing in his tone.
Stacey laughed again and put her hand against Aiden`s chest.
"Really really." She teased.
She felt warm. Not like she had a temperature or anything, but.... full of warmth. Happy. She couldn`t remember ever feeling this happy before in her life.
((Hey, at least you can spell chocolate.))
((You don't? lol))
Aiden chuckled, a smile playing at the edges of his lips. He gently traced his fingertips over Stacey's shoulder absentmidedly. He just stared at her eyes.
He couldn't help but feel happy around her. However, to him it was easy to be, her personality, smile, eyes. He also didn't notice her warm skin. To him, it was about the same as his which was unnaturally warmer than most. Aiden gently used his other hand, and moved Stacey's hair out of her face.
"Any idea on what time it is?" Aiden asked suddenly, not really caring, just curiosity.
Goosbumps rose on Stacey`s arms as Aiden ran his fingers over her shoulder. She smiled at him before letting her eyes flicker to the balcony, where the sun was shining in.
"Almost noon." She said after a moment. Her eyes shifted back to Aiden`s. "Astronomy class. Seriously. I think you would have liked it." She said, but then she grinned broadly. "Your eyes just looks so... amazing." She breathed.
Aiden was oblivious to the fact that he was giving her goosebumps. He smiled back until she looked at the balcony. Now that he knew the time, the amount of light coming in the room made sense. He took in a deep breath, and exhaled with a quiet sigh.
He turned his eyes back to Stacey.
"Mine? Pfft mine probabaly look like dirt compared to yours..." Aiden trailed off, lifting his hand to Stacey's cheek and touching it with his thumb.
Stacey grinned.
"Really. They look absolutely magnificent. They`re a deep brown with gold flecks in them. Really pretty." She trailed off, lifting her fingers to touch his cheekbone, under his eye. As Aiden touched her cheek, the white in her eyes flashed brillinat green for a split second before going back to the spectacular white.
Aiden blinked for a moment, unsure if he really saw the green flash in her eyes. It was unexpected. He also hadn't known his eyes were the color they were. Unlike Stacey, he couldn't control or tellt he color his eyes were.
He tilted his head slowly.
"Why did your eyes change like that?" Aiden asked her quietly.
"Like what?" She asked, crossing her eyes again. "They were green, weren`t they?" She asked. The flash had been to sudden and unexpected, she hadn`t had enough time to tell what color they were.
"I don`t know. Maybe because you touched my cheek." Her eyes were white, then flashed green. What were they doing?
Aiden tilted his head to one side slowly again. He watched her eyes carefully for a minute, waiting to see if it would happen again. Nothing changed.
Aiden watched the maginificent white color, suprised she hadn't noticed the change.
"It's never done that before." He noted carefully.
Aiden decided to test something. He slowly reached his other hand around, and touched her cheek. He waited to see if anything would happen this time.
Again, her eyes flashed a bright green for the shortest amount of time. Stacey grinned.
"They did it again, didn`t they." She asked, starting to giggle.
Aiden smiled once more as she giggled like he did before. He couldn't get over the sound of her laugh. He tilted his head even more to the side.
Aiden took one hand off of her cheek.
"I wonder what made it change now." He asked curiously.
Stacey grinned, her white teeth flashing in the bright sunlight.
"I don`t know. You`ll have to tell me what they do." She said, stretching her arms over her head.
"It`s not like I can tell what they are all of the time." She sighed.
Aiden smiled again, it fully reaching his eyes. He slowly leaned forward, leaning once again on his side and resting his head against his arms.
Aiden watched her eyes carefully again.
"Can you feel your eyes change when I do this?" He asked, lightly touching her on the cheek with his fingertips.
"Yes," Stacey replied when her eyes flashed a bright orange that would put a hightlighter to shame. "I like that color, but there isn`t exactly a mood to fit it." She grinned.
"How come your eyes hardly ever change?" She asked, lifting her hand to touch his cheek.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, unsure of the answer. He never really knew how or why his eyes changed the way they do, he only knew that they reacted with certain emotions or circumstances.
Aiden blinked a few times, suddenly aware of his eyes color. He didn't have a mirror to see, but by the way Stacey described them, they were different.
"I'm not sure. They sort of change on their own, I can't control it. I can't even feel it when they do." He replied slowly.
Stacey nodded. "Weird. And you know, now that we`re talking about it, I have never met anyone who`s been able to have their eyes change as many colors that I can." She said, running through her memories, trying to find someone who fit without success.
"I wonder why they change." She thought out loud.
Aiden leaned his head closer to Stacey while he still rested it against his arm in the pillow. He looked at her eyes, the white color still being truly remarkable.
He took in a deep breath.
"That means you're special, love." Aiden pointed out quietly.
Stacey snorted.
"I really don`t know why you keep insisting that I`m so special, my moon. Truely, there is not much to me." She argued, looking up at him with love. He always made her feel like she was different from everyone else, but in a good way.
Aiden shook his head, and sat up so he could look at her better. He looked at her with a serious expression, and grabbed her hand gently in his own.
He pulled the sheet up more.
"Honestly, Stacey you are the most special person I know. And theres so much more to you then what meets the eye." Aiden explained.
Stacey sat up, too, and wrapped the other side of the blanket around her.
"Aiden," She complained, "If I`m special, then you`re special. Just because I can do a few tricks with my powers does not mean that I`m so special." She said, just as serious as he was.
Aiden frowned as he tried to think of a way to get it through to her. He stared at her eyes, suddenly getting lost in their amazing colors once more.
He had to blink a few times to clear his mind.
"Do you really not believe you're special?" He asked.
Stacey grinned and picked up his hand to play with his fingers.
"Everyone is special." She replied after a minute. "I`m unique, that`s all. You don`t give yourself enough credit." She explained.
Aiden looked down, watching Stacey play with his fingers. He slowly tilted his head to one side, and took in a deep breath of air to exhale with a sigh.
He leaned back.
"I'm unique, like you said everyone is." He pointed out. "There's no credit to give."
Stacey laughed quickly and leaned forward to kiss him.
"Yes there is. You deserve to give yourself credit. You`re amazing, Aiden." She said sincerely, squeezing his fingers.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, and grinned as she kissed him quickly. He leaned forward slowly to make the kiss last longer before leaning back to speak.
Aiden rolled his eyes, and shrugged.
"I really don't understand why you seem to think that. However, if you believe so I'll have to accept that, even if I don't think so." He replied slowly.
Stacey laughed again.
"Aiden, baby, you can`t except it if you don`t think the same way." She teased. "But whatever. Let`s just agree that we`re both special." Her grin was big enough to reach her white eyes.
Aiden chuckled, and leaned towards her. He smiled, the sun reflecting on his white teeth as he looked at Stacey's equally white eyes.
He raised an eyebrow teasingly.
"That's fine with me." He agreed.
Stacey grinned and kissed Aiden softly.
"If it`s fine with you, then it`s great with me." She teased, squeezing his hand before letting it go to stand up. She made sure that the blanket was tucked around her.
Aiden watched her stand up, and tilted his head.
"Better be." He teased back.
Aiden stretched his arms out as his muscles were stiff with protest. He then leaned to the side of the bed, and slipped on a pair of jeans that were on the floor. He stood up, and ran his hand through his hair.
"So what would you like to do today?" Aiden asked as he looked on the floor for his shirt.
Stacey giggled and picked up his shirt, dangling it in front of him with one finger.
"Looking for this?" She asked sweetly. "And what would you like to do today?" She added. "Can you remind me about what there is to do? I forgot." She grinned.
She adjusted the blanket around her, tunking it in so she wouldn`t have to hold it. "Where`s the closest town?" She asked, locating her shorts.
Aiden lifted his head, and saw the shirt in her hand. He laughed, and slowly walked towards Stacey, but stopped in front of her.
"I'm not sure actually. I think about 20 minutes away." He explained.
Aiden tilted his head.
"If you don't want to give it back, that's fine. I'll understand if you want me to go shirtless all day." He teased, raising an eyebrow with a crooked smile.
Stacey laughed and twirled the shirt around with a quick turn of her wrist, then flicked it so it hung over his shoulder.
"Maybe I do, maybe I don`t." Was all she replied, grinning broadly, white eyes pulsing.
Aiden laughed, and gripped the shirt that rested on his shoulder with one hand. He stepped in front of her, and bent his head down to kiss her quickly but pationatetly. He hooked one arm around her waiste.
"So, what would you like to do today?" He asked, repeating his question from earlier.
Stacey smiled, her eyes flashing a brilliant pink as Aiden kissed her.
"Well, we`re on a beach. We can go snorkling, swimming, I don`t know. What would you like to do?" She asked softly.
Aiden grinned, his crooked smile looked teasingly as he watched her eyes change magnificent colors. He could never get used to that.
"Those sound fun, but it is up to you. I picked all this." He pointed out, lifting his hand and directing it around the room.
Stacey wrinkled her nose.
"Oh, you`ll live." She teased, squeezing his hand.
"But for now, why don`t I go downstairs and make some breakfast?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
Aiden smiled, but kept it small. He tilted his head, and squeezed her hand in response.
"I can help if you want." He replied.
Aiden slowly bent down, and kissed Stacey on the nose.
Stacey smiled and relaxed her nose.
"I can get it. Just come downstairs in fifteen minutes, and I`ll have it ready." She winked and gave Aiden a quick kiss before dancing to the doorway. She spun around on her heel, resting a hand on the doorframe.
"I love you." She reminded with a sideways grin. "A lot. You don`t know how happy I am that I can now be called your wife."
Aiden held onto her hand for a moment before letting it go so she could retreat to the door.
"I love you too, so much. And I do believe I have an idea." He replied.
Aiden suddenly raised an eyebrow, and chuckled.
"You're going to cook breakfast in a sheet? Not that I have any objections." He teased.
Stacey stuck out her tounge playfully.
"By the time you come downstairs, I won`t be in a sheet." She assured, then disappeared down the hall with a grin.
~~~
Fifteen minutes later, Stacey stood in the kitchen, leaning against the counter. She was wearing a pair of blue jean cut-offs and a red tank top. It was comfortable here, so she didn`t need to keep warm. Pancakes were sizzling, almost ready to be eaten.
Aiden slowly walked downstairs. He was wearing the shirt and jeans that he had picked out before and stayed barefoot. He walked into the kitched, instantly the smell of delicious pancakes caught his attention. He rounded the corner, and smiled as he saw Stacey.
"Mmm. Smells good." Aiden pointed out, taking a deep breath.
"Oh, and you look great." He added.
Stacey smiled and pushed off of the counter to flip the pancake off of the griddle, adding it to the stack. "Yeah right." She rolled her eyes, taking the plate and resting it on the island. There was also a plate of bacon and two glasses of orange juice.
"Told you I would be dressed." She mumbled smugly, getting two plates from a cabinet. The bow that had held the champagne, wine, and fire whiskey had been pushed to the other side of the counter to make room.
Aiden sniffed the air again.
"No really. Smells delicious." He protested.
Aiden slowly walked over to the counter and sat down. He smiled at Stacey.
"I did like the sheet." He pointed out with a small laugh. "But you look beautiful in whatever you're wearing." He pointed out.
Aiden eyed the food.
"Anything I can do to help?"
Stacey shook her head.
"Nope. It`s all done." She got two forks and maple syrup and started putting pancakes onto the plates, adding bacon when she was done.
"And believe it or not, this is the first time I`ve ever made pancakes, and none of them are burnt." She grinned triumphantly.
Aiden picked up a fork, and looked down at the delicious dish. He grinned, and looked at Stacey.
"Have you ever thought about becoming a cook?" He asked with a smile.
Aiden cut off a peice of the pancake, and took a bite. He nodded as it tasted very good.
Stacey snorted and picked up her own plate, leaning against the counter again as she ate.
"I would hate that. The same dishes all day, and you have to make them when other people want them." She wrinkled her nose like that was a bad idea.
"Besides, then I would smell I icky when I came home." She smiled at Aiden, her eyes a liquid gold.
Aiden couldn't help but laugh at her reply. She did infact have a very good reason and point. He wasn't a very good cook anyway so the idea was out of the question for him.
Aiden picked up another bite with his fork, and held it up to Stacey with a grin.
"Well, I suppose you're right. What I should've said is that you could be a cook with your skills." He replied.
Stacey grinned as Aiden laughed at her, then she leaned forward and took the bite of pancake that he had offered.
"I could, but then again, I can do pretty much anything." She winked at him, her eyes sparkling knowingly. They had dimmed down from the bright white color they had been and were instead her happy bright blue.
Aiden smiled as she ate the peice he offered. He cut off another bit of pancake, and took a bite himself. He watched her eye color thoughtfully.
He quickly chewed the bit.
"Good point." He agreed teasingly as he pointed the fork.
His eyes, however, were still the unsual gold-brown color. The white in his eyes were a bright pure white color. Nothing to bold, but different than the normal shades they changed to.
Stacey started eating ooff of her own plate.
"I`m sure you could do just about anything if you tried." She said softly, knowing that he would see things differently.
Aiden took another bite, looking down at his plate. While he chewed he thought about something he really wanted to do. Most of the things he wanted weren't possible to learn.
He looked up at Stacey.
"I want to learn to read minds." He decided.
Stacey was quiet for a moment, keeping her thougths from her eyes. Aiden didn`t need to read her mind to know what she was thinking most of the time. But the problem was, reading minds wasn`t something you could really learn. You either could, or you couldn`t.
"Well, that`s definatly something to work on." She said after a moment.
Aiden tilted his head. He knew it wasn't something he could learn, but something he really wanted to do. Mostly he wanted to know what Stacey was thinking, how she felt. He knew she could read his mind and he was envious of that.
Aiden twirled his fork on the plate.
"I can't really learn that anyway." He replied.
Stacey smiled apologetically. He knew.
"I`m sorry. It`s something in your brain that`s wired differently. And i can`t read your mind. Despite what you think. We are no where near magic right now, so I cannot read your mind. You`re just very easy to read." She paused. "You have to remember, I was raised by a wolf for a dad."
Aiden took another bite off of his pancakes. He chewed slowly and swallowed, finishing his breakfast. He stood up, but leaned over the counter.
He looked at Stacey with a curious expression.
"I'm easy to read?" He asked.
Stacey nodded, finishing her last piece of bacon.
"Yeah. Very easy. But I was trained to know people`s emmotions, too." She shrugged, taking Aiden`s plate and putting both of them in the sink.
Aiden watched as she put the dishes in the dishwasher. He then quickly picked Stacey up, and sat her on the counter. He leaned both of his hands either side of her against the counter.
Aiden tilted his head.
"So, since you can't read my mind right now...what am I thinking?" He asked.
Stacey took in a sharp breath as Aiden picked her up unexpectedly and set her on the counter. She hooked her arms around his neck.
"Now how am I supposed to know?" She asked, tilting her hehad, her eyes flickering green with wonder. "You have no special emmotion on your face. Love, admiration, wonder, maybe a hint of jealousy." She paused, giving a confused look.
"Jealous? No, that`s not right." She dismissed it, but locked her eyes on his.
The corner of his lips curved in a half grin. Aiden looked up at her as he raised on of his eyebrows. He stepped closer to her as his head was still tilted gently to one side.
"Jealousy? Jealous of what?" He asked.
Stacey grinned as she realized what it was.
"Aiden Gray, are you jealous of the fact that I can read minds?" She asked, her eyes sparkling now.
Aiden smiled even more now, his lips curving in a teasing way. He looked down, and shook his head back and forth as if he was holding back a laugh.
"Obviously, love. I'd like just for once to know what you're thinking." He replied.
Aiden lifted his head up again. He leaned his head forward, closer to hers.
"Now, tell me. What do you think I'm thinking?" He asked again, his eyes glowing mischeviously.
Stacey stared into his eyes, searching.
"Truely, I do not know." She replied truthfully. "I cannot read your mind, only what your face shows me."
Aiden suddenly leaned back, but he was still smiling nonetheless. He tilted his head back, but his arms were still resting on either side of her.
He shrugged his shoulders.
"That's a shame. I wanted to see how easy to read I really was." He pointed out.
Stacey leaned forward as he leaned back. "Oh, I think I know what you`re thinking." She said before pressing her lips to his.
Aiden smiled again as she leaned forward to kiss him. He slowly leaned forward, his stomache pressed against the counter. He closed his eyes as they continued to glow their unique color.
Stacey grinned, her fingers running into his hair as she kissed him again, her eyes shining brightly. She pulled away just far enough to speak.
"You can`t believe that I am your wife, that`s what your thinking." She whispered, kssing him once more.
Aiden chuckled, and leaned back a little. He flipped his dark hair out of his eyes.
"Maybe." He teased her lightly.
Aiden moved a lock of hair away from her face with a short grin. He slowly leaned forward to kiss her gently once more.
Stacey returned the kiss, both hands on his neck.
"Or yes." She replied, leaning back again.
Her eyes shone a bright blue that sparkled brilliantly as the sun hit ti at different angles, like a blue diamond.
Aiden's eyes glowed, which wasn't the only thing that shined in the light. As he smiled, his white teeth reflected the light. He lifted his hand up to her wrist which was around his neck.
He shrugged his shoulders. He ran his fingers down her wrist to her forearm and finally her elbow.
"Yes." He admitted, his voice playful.
Stacey shivered as his fingers ran over the sensitive skin of her inner arm. She leaned forward slightly so her face was close to his.
"So you admit it, then? I am amazing?" She asked playfully, her tone the same as his.
Aiden noticed Stacey shiver. He stopped running his fingers over her arm, but kept it locked around the part of her arm above the elbow.
He blinked, and kept his face still.
"Well, I suppose you could think of it that way. However, I'm not going to flat out say it." He teased.
She gave a sideways grin, her eyes sparking white for a split second.
"Well, I think you`re amazing." She said softly, batting her eyelashes and running her fingers over the back of his neck.
Aiden tilted his head as her eyes sparkled. He flipped his hair out of his eyes, and stepped closer to the counter.
He tried not to show that he was also shivering from Stacey's fingers running across his neck. However, he couldn't hide the goosebumps rising on his arms.
"You're very amazing." He also admitted, despite of what he said a moment ago.
Stacey smiled and carefully slipped off of the counter, one of her hands sliding down to his.
"I love you, my moon." She said softly, squeezing his hands.
Aiden's grin slowly grew as he heard those familiar words. He took the hand that was around his neck, and held it softly in his own.
"I love you, too." He replied quietly, his eyes glowing.
Stacey grinned.
"WEell, what would you like to do today, my moon?" She asked, squeezing his hands.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders as he thought, making a clicking noise with his tongue. After a few moments, he shook his head.
"No idea. What do you want to do, and yes you have to pick." He said with a smile.
Stacey wrinkled her nose.
"I`m fine with just hanging out here with you." She said, wondering if he would object.
Aiden tapped his fingertips against her palm. The day was already half way over so there wasn't much they could do anyway.
"That's fine with me." He agreed.
"So what would you like to do here?" Aiden asked her before she could ask the same thing.
Stacey shrugged.
"Is there a place to hang out in the back?" She asked, "Like a hammock or something?"
Aiden leaned over the counter, turning his head to the left to look out the large glass sliding door. Out the door were mostly tropical, exotic trees, but a large hammock hung gracefully between two of the large palms.
Aiden turned around.
"Yep, wanna go lay out?" He asked.
Stacey grinned.
"Sure." She replied.
((Since it`s kinda hard to get on hammocks (ugh) Ima just skip to where they`re on there. =P ))
About a minute later, they were in the hammock, shaded by the large plam tress. The sky was a beautiful blue, and there were large poofy clouds in the distance. Stacey lay with her fingers tangled with his, rested on her stomach, tracing little circles on the back of his hand.
((Haha I know how you feel. =P))
Aiden layed down, his back against the hammock and one of his knees bent. He was vaguely aware of the gently rocking back and forth of the hammock. It was peaceful out, and the wind blew by gracefully.
Aiden turned his head to look at Stacey, his eyes shining by the harsh, orange glow the sun beat down on them. He cleared his throat before he suddenly spoke.
"Enjoying yourself here so far?" He asked.
Stacey smiled, her white teeth almost glowing in the sun.
"It`s been amazing so far. I can`t believe that it`s our honeymoon." She said, squeezing his fingers.
Aiden tilted his head, looking down at her fingers as she traced random patterns onto his pale hand. He couldn't believe it either. The thought made him excited and curious about what the future would bring.
"I know. It's hard to believe that little me would be married to someone like you." He replied, his voice playful.
"You know you could do so much better." He added.
Stacey tilted her head to give Aiden a serious look.
"Yes, i could have married someone that would become a doctor or a layer. I could have married Nate. I could have married that nerdy guy that might become the Minister of Magic. But I chose you because you love me." She said fiercly, meaning every word.
Aiden pressed his lips together. A thought slipped into his mind, but he refrained himself from speaking it aloud. For it was not the time or place.
He turned his head to look at Stacey, his cheek resting against the net of the hammock.
"Well, I'm glad you love me too." He said slowly.
Stacey kept her eyes on his.
"What?" She asked. "You can say it, Aiden. Whatever it is, you can tell me." She knew that he was holding something back, she could see it in his eyes.
Aiden lowered his eyes to her hand. He slowly turned the hand that she traced, and turned it over. He didn't really want to say it, it was a stupid thought.
He sighed, unable to not think about it. The only reason he could think of was jealousy, even if he didn't have a right to feel that way.
"Nate loved you." He said, his voice quiet.
Stacey nodded.
"He did. But he was a vampire. I didn`t want to be one, and I didn`t want to grow old while he stayed young. Besides, I love you more." She crossed her arms defiantly.
He looked into Stacey's eyes, his own soft. His expression looked sorry as he leaned back farther into the hammock. His movement made the hammock sway back and forth again.
He took in another deep breath, and looked down.
"I'm sorry. I just can't help but feel a little jealous." Aiden admitted, his words coming out sounding clumsy.
Stacey took Aiden`s hand again and squeezed his hand.
"I know Aiden, but remember, I picked you. You`re the one I love. I don`t love him anymore, okay?" She asked. Memories of him and Avalee came back to mind.
Aiden squeezed her hand back. The wind suddenly picked up, but only to an average breeze. His hair ruffled around his eyes, but he didn't bother with it.
"I love you, too." He replied, smiling.
He tilted his head, looking at her expression. He could only guess what she was thinking.
"Whats wrong?" Aiden asked.
((I just realized that if they are on their honeymoon, he wouldn`t have met Avalee yet. X( ))
She hesitated, but he had told her what she was thinking, so she would tell him what she was thinking.
"I was thinking about you and Avalee." She said softly. "I guess I`m a little jealous, too." She looked off into the bright blue sky, just thinking.
((Ahh, good point. Oh well, we could work around it. =P))
Aiden watched her look away. He wanted desperatly to know what she was actually thinking. He ran his thumb over her palm and then her wrist.
Aiden bent his knee, and rested his other arm behind his head.
"I know." He began, thinking of words to stay.
"It's my fault, and I would be surprised if you didn't feel that way. It was a stupid decision."
Stacey looked down at their hands, watching him rub his thumb over her skin. She was silent for a while, her thoughts wandering. Sometimes she wandered if Aiden still liked Avalee, but another part of her thought maybe different.
"What comes to mind when you think about the future?" She asked suddenly, changing he subject.
Aiden used his index and middle finger to run his fingertips over her palm, wrist, and forearm. He blinked, silently grateful for the conversation change. Although, he could tell she was still thinking about the subject, but he didn't dare to ask what about.
Aiden ran his fingers up and down her arm absentmindedly.
"You, me, careers, kids." Aiden said slowly, naming off a few things.
"What do you think of?" He repeated her question.
Stacey suddenly grinned. Kids. That little forbidden subject. They hadn`t reall planned anything about that, or last night...
"Well, the same. Jobs, us, children." She trailed off slowly, leaving room for Aiden to add to the subject.
She had felt a little tired since they woke up-- physically, not mentally. She figured that it was because of her full day yesterday. Or it could have been last night. she blushed, her eyes swirling pink.
He noticed the way she grinned at his mentioning of the word kids which is one reason he brought it up was to see her reaction. Aiden titled his head to one side and looked at her eyes.
Aiden sat up and moved his Arm out from behind his head. He ran it absentmidedly through her soft hair.
"What do you think about that? Kids?" He asked.
She stared up at Aiden, her eyes on his.
"Well, I don`t know. It`s... it`s a someday kinda thing." She said, looking away again and smiling.
She liked kids, really. But the thought of having her own? Just thinking about it-- all of the responsibility, the lack of freedom-- made her chew the inside of her lip. She never thought that she would be married at such a young age, and adding kids to that was... well, a little overwhelming.
Aiden watched her curiously. He wondered why she looked away, whether it was because she was embarrased about the topic or something else. Either way, he didn't ask.
He, too, was smiling now.
"Yeah, I agree. Someday, but we're both young now." He agreed.
Stacey looked back at Aiden, grateful that he didn`t ask further.
"Seventeen, my moon. A very young age, indeed." She sighed. She did feel young. Very young. Most people her age were trying to get there first job or still hanging out with friends-- trying to figure out what to do with themselves now that they were out of school. She was married and talking about... about kids.
Aiden nodded in agreement. Seventeen was very young, so was nineteen. He regretted bringing the topic up, but figured there was no harm in mentioning it at least.
Aiden gently kicked his foot off the nearby palm, and it made the hammock sway back and forth gracefully.
"You're right." He agreed, speaking his thoughts.
He took her hand again in his own.
Stacey tilted her head to meet Aiden`s eyes; her own had changed back to blue.
"But not too young." She added before he could regret anything. This was their honeymoon, they should be able to talk about these kinds of things without getting weird about it.
"We were kinda talking about pets last night, do you think that you`d want a pet?" She asked, changing the subject again.
Aiden scooted himself so that he was facing towards Stacey on his side. His eyes began to dim down to his normal, medium brown color but the uniqueness from earlier still glowed with a spark here and there.
"I like dogs, like I said last night." Aiden said with a grin.
"What would you want?"
Stacey shrugged, though not well. It was a little hard to shrug in a hammock.
"Well, you said that you liked huskies, I like them. They`re pretty dogs." She said nodding as she said it. "They shed a lot in the summer, but I guess I could find a spell to help with that." She said.
She remembered that she didn`t even have her wand on her, which was really odd. It was upstairs in her suitcase, tucked into a hidden pocket and not very easy to get to.
Aiden stretched his arms slowly out in front of him. The hammock was in fact comfortable, but sitting in one position for awhile made his arms stiff.
The hammock slowly stop swaying back and forth, and just hung there motionlessly.
"Yeah, huskies are cool. I like their eyes, their color." He pointed out.
Stacey nodded and smiled. Her eyes became a little distant as she looked out into the blue sky. It was just so blue, she couldn`t believe it.
"Yep, either amber or blue. Really pretty." She agreed, her gaze shifting back to him.
Aiden took of on his hands, and wrapped it around hers. He then put his other hand over both of theirs. He tilted his head gently to one side, his eyes filled with obvious curiousity.
His lips curved slowly in the beginning of a soft smile.
"What are you thinking about?" Aiden asked suddenly.
Stacey tilted her head the same way he did.
"I don`t know. Everything. I`m your wife now. It`s just... a little dizzying." She admitted, smiling slowly.
Aiden raised an eyebrow, surprised by her use of words. He leaned forward, and tapped his thumb gently on her palm. His eyes almost seemed to swirl medium brown as the light reflected them.
"Dizzying? How so?" He asked, confused.
Stacey grinned and shrugged.
"Well, I don`t know. It`s just... I`m your wife, and your my husband. We`re married, and we have a life together. We`ll have a future together, it`s just... amazing to think about." She tried to explain.
Aiden grinned, his straight white teeth shining in the light as his smile reached his eyes. He sat up, and slowly scooted over to Stacey as he tried to keep his balance on the unsteady hammock. He layed next to her and wrapped his arm around so she could lay in his arms.
He sighed suddenly, however it was a calm, relaxed sound.
"Love, I don't even have the words to deceive how long I've waited for someone like you." Aiden said slowly.
Stacey smiled, resting her head against his chest.
"I know, my moon, trust me, I know." She sighed softly. "I love you, and I`ve never loved anyone as much as I love you. If you ever feel like you aren`t special enough, remember that I picked you. You are the one I love." She said, lifting her head to look at him.
Aiden ran his fingers through her hair as his fingertips barely touched the back of her neck. He couldn't help but notice how her soft hair shined in the bright light of the sun.
He smiled even more as Stacey looked at him.
"I love you too." He answered simply as if that solved anything .
Stacey grinned and leaned up awkwardly, kissing Aiden softly.
"I don`t know when I`ve ever been happier than right now." She said softly, falling back into the netting of the hammock.
Aiden lifted his face closer to hers to kiss Stacey back. He then slowly leaned back with a large smile as the hammock rocked back and forth from the sudden movement.
"Me either. I don't think I even knew this much happiness until now, here with you." Aiden said.
Stacey tilted her head, still smiling. There was more silence, but it wasn`t awkward. She was just enjoying his company, the warmth of his next to her.
"And what else do you think about? When you think about ht future, I mean."
Aiden crossed his arms behind his head, and layed back down. He looked at the clear sky and the trees above them. It really didn't get much more peaceful than this. However, he would also steal the occasional glance at Stacey.
He took in a deep breath, and flipped his hair out of his eyes.
"Well, lots of things. Like I said, mainly about us. Most of the time I think about the near future rather than whats far off as you probably already can tell." Aiden replied with a smile.
Stacey nodded and smiled, agreeing.
"You said 'lots of things.' What kind of things?" She asked, wanting to know exactly what he was talking about.
She moved her hand, holding it out for him. Her fingers were chilly, and not just compared to his skin. The netting didn`t exactly provide any insulation, considering that the wind could just come right through it.
Aiden looked down at the hand that she held out to him. With a smile, he slowly reached his hand out, and entwined his fingers gently with hers. He couldn't help but notice how their fingers fit together perfectly, like a puzzle peice.
Aiden squeezed her hand. His hotter skin unable to notice how cold Stacey's were.
"Well, obviously about things I have to get ready for us. Like a house for example." He paused, his face full of thought.
"I think of happiness, too. Because I know that I'll be happy with you Stacey."
Stacey grinned, her eyes getting close to white, and still magnificent.
"You have no idea how... amazingly sweet that sounds." She said, squeezing Aiden`s hand in return. That made her so happy to hear him say something like that. It made her feel unique and... well, like a wife. Which she figured she should feel like, but still. It was a little wierd to be thinking about that kind of thing now.
Aiden watched her eyes being to turn to white again. His smile slowly started to get wider and reach his eyes. He gently tapped his thumb against her palm.
He shrugged his shoulders.
"Well, it's true." Aiden mumbled, looking at the netting of the hammock, his eyes sparkling.
Stacey giggled.
"I know it`s true, my moon. I just can`t believe it. That you`re mine." She also looked down at the netting, her eyes and cheeks flushing pink.
Aiden chuckled quietly, and smiled even more as she giggled. The wind suddenly picked up a little, but he didn't even notice. A few leaves blew around gently.
Aiden slowly leaned forward to kiss the edge of her lips as Stacey just began to blush.
"I'm yours." He repeated after he leaned back.
Stacey grinned and leaned forward to kiss Aiden again.
"And I`m yours. Forever and always." She sighed happily. She couldn`t believe that she was married to him. It all seemed unreal.
Aiden leaned forward to kiss her back and to make the kiss a few moments longer. He then relunctantly leaned back against the hammock.
The hammock began to rock back and forth again from the sudden movement so he leaned his shoulder against the tree that was holding it up.
"Foreved.". He repeated what Stacey said with a sigh.
"I can't think of anything that sounds better than that." He pointed out with a playful wink in her direction.
Stacey smiled, her eyes flashing brightly.
"I love you." She said, leaning forward so her face was close to his. Her eyes shimmered brightly, quickly changing through a range of shades. She gently pressed her lips against his, running her fingers up his palm and wrist.
Aiden sighed gently and put one hand under her chin as he leaned back to speak. His eyes shined brightly in the fine glow of light.
"I love you too.". He said slowly and sincerely.
Aiden forward again, pressing his lips gently against hers to kiss her back.
Stacey lifted one hand to his cheek, her fingertips barely touching his hot skin. Her other hand stayed at his wrist, brushing the sensitive skin there. She returned the kiss softly and slowly, her eyes glowing as she closed her eyes against the afternoon light.
Aiden leaned forward, closer to Stacey. He closed his eyes slowly but under them they shined a bright gold. he slowly ran his hand up her arm, to her shoulder, then rested it gently rested it against the side of her neck. His fingers tangled in her light brown hair.
Aiden smiled as he kissed her back. He kept his other hand caressed against her cheek as he gently pulled on her bottom lip.
Stacey hooked her arm over his neck, pulling him to her. Her eyes were glowing white again, but not quite as bright as they were earlier. She brushed her fingers from the inside of his wrist to his elbow, her skin just barely running over his. She pulled away slightly to take a breath, then kissed him again, and deeper.
Aiden tried to lean forward closer to her but it was difficult to do on the unsteady hammock. Instead he leaned back against the tree and moving his hand to Stacey's back to pull her closer. He kissed her more pattionatly than before but yet soft at the same time.
Stacey smiled and scooted closer to Aiden, putting both hands on his neck. She parted her lips and kissed Aiden a little quicker, pulling on his bottom lip.
He gently moved the hand that was on her neck to her hair, running his hand through with his fingertips. Aiden kissed her back, his breath getting faster as he parted his lips with hers.
Stacey grinned, pulling herself over Aiden, her cold hands running into his hair. She put one hand on the tree, trying to steady the hammock.
Aiden also smiled, his eyes closed tight. He ran the hand down from her back to her waiste as he kissed her back quickly.
She ran her fingers into his hair, pulling back just enough to breathe. She was still smiling, and her eyes glowed magnificently as she opened them, and they seemed to actually make light.
"I love you." She said softly and lightly.
Aiden kept his face still as she leaned back. He opened his eyes just barely so that they were small slits, but even then you could see their brilliant gold color.
Aiden sighed, but smiled gently.
"I love you too, so very very much." He said, speaking slowly.
Stacey`s smile was large. He loved her, she loved him. He was hers and she was his.
"You have no idea..." She trailed off, knowing that he would know what she meant. She ran her fingers down his cheek, staring into his beautiful eyes.
He looked at Stacey, drumming his fingers slowly against the soft skin on her hand. Aiden flashed her a brilliant smile as his eyes shine.
He raised an eyebrow expectantly.
"Oh, I think I do." He pointed out.
Stacey grinned, her eyes flashing the same white for a moment before running through a rainbow of different colors.
"Maybe you do, myabe you don`t." She teased, running her fingers along his arm.
The air felt almost electric, like it was pulling her to him. She turned her hand over and hooked her fingers through his.
Aiden studied her eyes carefully, watching them change a variety of colors, and tried to pinpoint what colors meant what. He tilted his head, and looked down at their hands.
He persed his lips for a moment, his eyes looking up to her face. He couldn't help but grin.
"You're amazing, you know that?" Aiden pointed out suddenly.
Stacey grinned and squeezed his hands.
"I`ve heard that so many times, but I don`t know what I`ve done to deserve it." She replied, her eyes resting on a pale green for a moment. Truely, she didn`t think that she deserved him. He was everything she had ever hoped for, and so much more. She never imagined that she would be married to someone like him.
Aiden stretched his head forward to kiss the very tip of her nose. He ran his fingers over her hand to gently slide up her palm towards her wrist, his eyes were a thoughtful natural brown color.
He smiled, his lips curved so that his grin reached his eyes.
"Maybe it's nothing you do. Perhaps you're just naturally amazing. You are to me." Aiden said quietly.
Stacey grinned, her eyes sparkling.
"Well, you know what?" She didn`t finish her sentence. Instead she ran her fingers gently over his arm, her skin lighly tracing his. She stopped at his shoulder, then her hand fell slowly back down to his.
Aiden tilted his head, turning it so he could look up at her face and sparkling eyes.
"What?" He asked curiously.
Stacey looked up into his eyes.
"I love you, that`s what." She giggled. She picked up his hand and hooked her fingers through his, loving the warmth of his skin against hers.
Aiden smiled, his white teeth shining in the light. His eyes even seemed to sparkle in the bright, orange glow from the hot sun. He took in a deep breath and sighed, but it was a happy sound.
"Oh, and you know I love you." He pointed out with a teasing smile.
Stacey giggled softly.
"Yeah, sure sure." She teased back, running her other hand over his other arm, looking down to his pale skin. The sun was getting closer to the opposite horizon. It was probably about two by now, or so.
He looked at her eyes and the way the looked in the light. Aiden grinned brilliantly, and took another deep breath.
"I do." He disagreed with a laugh.
Aiden squeezed her hand gently, his fingers entwined with hers.
"What do you wanna do?" He asked.
Stacey shrugged.
"What do you want to do?" She asked, then thought of something else. "How long do we get to stay here?" This place was beautiful, and she knew that she would be reluctant to leave.
Aiden looked around. It was getting later in the afternoon even if they had just woken up a few hours ago. Something about this place kept him completely relaxed, and thought of leaving reminded him of the world back home.
He sighed, thinking.
"Well, we can stay as long as you want to, really." Aiden pointed out, lifting his eyes to hers and raising an eyebrow.
Stacey grinned and leaned forward suddenly, kissing him quickly.
"I love you." She said, then, "I have an idea. Give me half an hour. Did you happen to bring a suit with you?" She asked, her smile turning lopsided.
Aiden tilted his head to one side, leaning back against the tree behind him. His eyes reflected the sun that rose above them which was just a few moments ago hiding in the trees.
"Yes, but what did you have in mind?"
Stacey grinned.
"Just... put your suit on. Get all prettied up and meet me in the garage in half an hour." She said, twisitng out of the hammock. She leaned down to kiss him again.
"You`ll love it."
Aiden smiled, and kissed her back for a moment before leaning back. His eyes sparkled with curiousity. Howver, he guessed that's how Stacey wanted him to feel, curious.
"Okay, you've caught my attention." He announced before stand up.
He tilted his head with a curious gaze.
"Meet you in five?"
She laughed and shook her head.
"Don`t be so anxious." She giggled. "Half an hour. It`ll take time for me to get ready." With that she disappeared back into the house.
Twenty-five minutes later, Stacey stood just inside the garage door, looking down at the two cars it held. A yellow Porsche and a lime green Mustang. She shook her head; trust her dad to give her a crazy car to borrow for her honeymoon.
Aiden walked down the stairs, looking around for his wife. His eyes scanned the room, and he stepped into the next. He slowly walked towards the garage and saw Stacey standing in the doorway. He stopped walking for a moment to smile at her.
"Ready, love?" Aiden asked with a large grin.
((Whats her dress look like?))
((Oh, oops.))
Stacey grinned.
"Are you ready?" She asked, holding out two sets of keys. As she stood there, waiting for him to pick a set, she ran a hand over her red material of her dress. The hem ended just above her knees, and it was strapless. She had a diamond necklace one, too, one where the farther the gems got away from her colar bone, the smaller they got.
Aiden nodded, smiling at her dress. His own suit was black with a tie that matched her red dress. It hadn't even meant to pick out similiar colors, but it saved him alot of work and they would look well together.
Aiden took her hand, and looked at the keys.
"Yup, but who's driving?" He asked.
Stacey smiled and squeezed Aiden`s hand.
"You are, if you want to. I`m guessing that they drive really well, since they`re here." She replied, looking towards the lime green Mustang. It was really bright for a car.
She turned slightly, making her skirt twirl. She really liked this dress. Even her black pumps were comfortable.
Aiden smiled at the car, and held out his hands for the keys. His eyes looked over the glossy exterior of the sleek sports car. He had an interest in cars, just was never rich enough to afford such expensive luxuries.
He grinned.
"Sounds good. So, where are we going?"
"I`ll give you directions." She replied. "It`ll be a nice drive." She pulled him towards the car, and left him on the driver`s side, settling herself in the other. The inside of the car was black leather, very sleek.
"Are you hungry yet?" She asked, adjusting her skirt. Her eyes were swirling a bright blue as she looked back at him.
Aiden sat himself in the car, and leaned back comfortable into the leather seat. He put the key in the ignition, but waited to start the sleek car up. He kept both hands on the wheel, and turned to Stacey.
He reached out his right hand, and held it out for his wife.
"I could eat." Aiden replied simply.
"Why? Are we going somewhere to eat?"
Stacey couldn`t help but smile as she took Aiden`s hand, her fingers hooking through his. His hand was warm in hers. All she felt right now was pure happiness-- and love, of course.
"Sure, why not. The place I was planning on going has food, too." She said, shiftin her weight in the comfortable seat. It was surpringly nice for just being a seat in a car.
Aiden put his hand back on the key, and turned it. The engine started up with a deep growl, and the gentle pur of the engine hid the amount of power the impressive car held. He grinned.
Aiden turned his head back to Stacey.
"So, you're not going to tell me where we are going, are you?" He clarified, raising an eyebrow.
A giggle escaped Stacey`s lips.
"Nope. You`ll find out soon enough. It won`t take that long to get there. Maybe fifteen minutes." She smiled, her white teeth flashing against the general gloom from inside the car.
Aiden smiled, but it was a short sideways grin, his eyes shining with amusement. He turned his entire body around, and backed the powerful vehicle out of the driveway, his foot barely sitting against the gas pedal.
He turned the wheel, and drove slowly down the road. He could only guess the way there, but there was only one street to town. Aiden gently slid his right hand down to entwine his fingers with Stacey's.
"You like to keep me guessing, don't you?" He guessed with a teasing grin.
Stacey smiled again and squeezed Aiden`s fingers gently. She looked up to him with magnificent blue eyes. They appeared to shimmer as she moved.
"Gotta keep you on your toes." She teased, turning her head to look out the window. It had to be about five o`clock, and the sun was beginning to set on the western horizon.
"You know," She said suddenly, "I`ve never seen the sunset on a beack before." She stated. It was true. She had seen everything from penguins in Antarctica to great flying dragons in Belgium, but not a sunset on a beach.
Aiden stepped his foot on the petal harder. The car sped up as Aiden looked at the window to where Stacey was looking at. The street ahead was straight and long, so he could look away easily.
He lifted Stacey's hand to his lips and kissed her fingers gently before setting it back down on the rest between them. His eyes strayed away from the beach but ahead to the road.
"I'm glad I've got to share this with you. It's my first time too actually."
Stacey looked at Aiden again, her eyes full of wonder and happiness. She couldn`t remember a time when she felt this great.
"You don`t know how much I appreciate all that you`ve done for me. I know that you don`t think you`ve done a lot, but you have. You`ve given me so much, and I don`t know how I will ever be able to return the favor. I love you, you know." She said. You could tell that she was telling the truth, and nothing but the truth. It rang true in her voice. She didn`t know what she would do without him.
Aiden turned his eyes from the road to smile at his wife. His eyes glowed a light brown. He ran his thumb over the back of her hand softly and slowly.
He gripped the wheel, and squeezed her fingers.
"I love you, too." He began slowly and sincerely. "I don't think you know what all you've done for me either. I would'nt be the same person if it wasn't for you."
The grin that spread across Stacey`s face was crooked, but sweet.
"I`ve changed, too, you know. You`ve helped me through hard times and made the good times a little more fun to be in. You made me laugh all of the time, even when I didn`t want to. You`ve done a lot for me, Mr. Gray. A lot more than you`ll probably ever know. More than any list could ever hold."
She looked down at their linked hands, a faint blush rising across her cheeks.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, almost seeming shy. He pressed his lips together, and looked at the road. He cleared his throat, and smiled.
"I think you give me too much credit, love." He pointed out.
Aiden turned his head to look at her for a quick moment, but raised an eyebrow as he noticed something that caught his attention.
"You're blushing?" He questioned, a little surpised.
Stacey smiled, not meeting Aiden`s eyes. now that he had noticed it, the blush deepened to a bright pink. Her eyes were starting to turn pink, too.
"Well, I`ve never really said something like that to anyone before, and I didn`t have to even think about it. The words just kinda... came out. and they were true, too. Probably one of the truest things I`ve ever said." She looked back to him. "Besides, you`re acting kind of shy, too." She teased.
Aiden chuckled, his eyes shining despite the darkness inside the car because of the darkly tinted windows. He looked at the road, and revved the engine faster.
He gripped her hand tighter, and smiled at what Stacey said.
"Do you believe in soul-mates?" Aiden asked suddenly as if in answer to what she said.
Stacey looked down at their hands, thinking. Did she believe in soul-mates? It was hard not to, after all that she had been through.
"Yes." She finally answered. "Because I found you." She looked back up into Aiden`s eyes, completely sure of herself. "I knew that you were different the first night I met you. I gave up Nate, who had basically saved my a$$, to be with you. And I don`t think I`ve ever made a better choice than that."
Aiden gripped her hand, and moved his arm so that his elbow rested on the space between them. He tilted his head to one side as he looked at the road before them.
"How did you know I was different? How did you know that you wanted me more than Nate after just one night?" He asked suddenly.
"Turn right up here." She said before answering his question. She had to think about what to say.
"You know, I don`t really know. You just seemed so... different. You set of a spark in my mind, I guess. I felt like I knew you really well, even when I had just met you. You got me." She tried to explain as best she could.
Aiden slowed down the vehicle and turned the wheel to the right as the car changed directions. He slowed down as the road began to end. Aiden squeezed her hand softly.
His eyes glanced to the right to look at Stacey.
"What did you think of Nate before you met me?" Aiden asked her.
Stacey chewed on the inside of her lip for a moment, thinking again.
"I loved him. I really did. But... it was different. I guess I felt that I owed him something. He had made me remember that I was a person, made come out of the hole Niles pushed me into." She paused for a moment, trying to push the hated image of Niles out of her mind.
"I love him like a really good friend, but that`s all. I could have never married him. I couldn`t have changed for him. I love being human, and when I met you, you just kind of perfected it for me."
((So where are they going? =P))
Aiden nodded his head, and tilted his head to the side. He knew Stacey loved Nate, and he would have to accept that. However, the fact that Stacey loved him more covered up that fact.
He brought her fingers up to his lips, and kissed each one gently.
"I love you, too." Aiden said.
((A place.))
Stacey grinned.
"Turn left." She said softly.
"But what about you? What did you think of me after the first night?" She asked, turning to look at him. Her eyes were bright blue again, clearly happy.
Aiden slowed down the car as he struggled to make the turn. The vehicle changed directions quickly, and he slowed down even more.
"Honestly, you changed my life completely since the first time I ever saw you. I was surprised at how drawn I was to your smile, your eyes, your face. In the beginning, all the emotions I felt for you scared me." He explained slowly.
Aiden suddenly chuckled.
"I thought I was going crazy. I mean, to have so much longing for you after just one night."
Aiden paused and made a face.
"Sorry if that sounds creepy."
Stacey smiled and squeezed his hand, trying to collect her thoughts. She found that her heart was beating a little faster than normal.
"That doesn`t sound creepy at all. In fact, that`s really what I felt. It just felt like... like there was a magnet in you that was pulling me towards you. The way you llaughed or smiled, I just didn`t want to ever see you frown, never wanted you to be sad. I was scared, too. I had never felt like that towards anyone. Even Nate, what I felt for him was nothing compared to what I suddenly felt for you. I was scared because, deep down, I knew that I loved you." Her words were soft and true. As she spoke, she stared at their hands, blushing again.
Cars were starting to pass them now, and they were getting closer to town. There were people walking on the sidewalks, all looking happy and dressed up.
"Left."
Aiden took another left as he took little notice to the dressed-up pedestrians that walked on the street of the town. There were lights everywhere, and he began to get curious.
Aiden smiled, noticing her heart speed up and Stacey blushing. He was about to ask a question, but waited.
"You know, I still feel the same way. However, I'm not frightened anymore by these feelings. Actually, my feelings have grown for you so much more since we've arrived here." He said slowly.
He let his thumb slide down to her wrist, and he could feel her fast pulse.
Stacey grinned, looking down at her black shoes.
"I feel the same way, too. Before, I don`t know how I could have loved anyone this much. Not Nate, not Niles, no one." Her eyes were back on the road, giving her something to do. "And make a right. It`s about three blocks down, lots of lights outside." She sqeezed Aiden`s hand, looking over at him now that she didn`t want to burst out giggling, although her cheeks were still pink.
Aiden grinned, unable to hide the happiness that bursted from him. He didn't pay much to the pedestrians as he drove the car slowly through the crowded streets.
"I love you, too. More than I can express." He added, his teeth shining.
His eyes looked to the side, glancing at Stacey and her expression. She may not be easy to read, but he knew her well enough that something must've been funny about where they were going.
"What?" Aiden questioned, confused and suspicious.
"Nothing." Stacey replied quickly. "Just remembering what Sky did to be at my party before the wedding."
Sky had been one of her bridesmaids, so was partially in charge of the bachalorette party. One of the more horrifying things planned was a rather large, hairty man in nothing but a leopard Speedo. But Stacey had made sure he left quickly-- it was that or forced into leaving, which wouldn`t have been pleasant-- and she had been blushing deeply, none the less.
"It`s right up here." She pointed to a building about three cars down. There was an open parking spot right in front of it, somehow in the shadows even though there were dark-colored lights streaming from the place.
Aiden looked foward, peering through the darkly tinted windows of the car to see if there was a sign or something to indicate what the place was. However, he couldn't point out anyting except the many people in the street and the lights glowing all around, making the area look like a fireworks show.
"What did you do?" Aiden asked, knowing she wouldn't answer.
He slowed the car down.
"Park anywhere?" Aiden asked another question before she could answer.
Stacey leaned forward in her seat, then flicked her hand in the direction of the open space.
"There is fine." She said, blushing again at his second to last question.
By now the sky had darkened, and the bright lights made the sky look black. People were walking all around, laughing and holding onto each other. A few of them looked drunk, but no one seemed to notice. They did seem to notice the lime green car that was pulling up, though. That thought made Stacey lean back in her seat, messing with her clutch.
Aiden smiled, catching Stacey blushing out of the corner of his eye. Somehow this amused him even though he was very curious. However, at the same time he knew he really didn't want to know.
Aiden turned the wheel quickly and smoothly parked the car between two other ones. He was careful to put alot of space between the other vehicles to make it easier to leave later. He then opened the door, and walked over to Stacey's side to open her door. He stood, holding it with a smile.
"Mrs. Gray." Aiden said formally with an amused nod.
Stacey smirked and stepped out of the car.
"Mr. Gray." She replied, nodding and taking his hand once he closed the door. A couple people were looking towards him, but quickly looked away when Stacey looked towards them. She had an oddly... powerful presence.
"What would you like to eat?" She asked as she pushed the door of the building open. She flashed an ID to a protesting bouncer, and he quickly backed off.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders undecisively. He gave an odd look at the bouncer as he backed off once Stacey showed him the ID.
"I'm fine with anything." He mumbled. "You pick."
Aiden followed her inside.
"What was up with that?" He asked, thinking of the bouncer.
Fake ID. Stacey pushed with her mind to get the message to him. That, and the lime green car was kind of expensive. "This dress wasn`t so cheap, either." She smiled as she lead Aiden through the croud.
"Seriously, what do you want to eat." She found a clean, empty table and sat down. There were two folded menues on the table along with two napkins fancily folded.
Aiden followed her through the crowded room and to the empty table. He pulled out the chair for her before she sat down, and then Aiden sat down himself. He looked up at Stacey and tilted his head curiously.
Aiden took one of the menus and began scanning through it, barely reading.
"What are you getting?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he peeked over the menu to look at Stacey.
Stacey smiled as she looked over the menu to Aiden.
"I think I`ll get the cheese tortellini. What do you think you`ll get? Spagettii?" She smirked and closed the menu, placing back on the table and moving the folded napkin to the side.
Aiden grinned, and laughed quietly to himself. He looked at the menu, and scanned through the different entrees.
"Hmm...maybe." Aiden mumbled, pretending to really decide.
Aiden then smiled once at Stacey, and dropped the menu onto the table.
"I suppose spagetti it is." He answered.
Stacey leaned forward and put her elbows on the table, putting her chin on her hand.
"And what would you like to drink?" She asked, nodding towards the back of the menu. She dropped one of her hands and began tracing random patterns on the glass top of the table with a fingertip. Her eyes quickly scanned the room, running right over the waiter that was headed towards them.
Aiden flipped the menu over, and he scanned over the drinks that they had available. He brow furrowed as he decided slowly.
He finally shrugged his shoulders and sat the menu down on the table. He looked up to Stacey and the waiter who was walking to the two of them once again.
"A waters just fine for me." He replied. "You?"
"Water."
Stacey replied, glancing at the waiter, who nodded to say that he heard that. Stacey tilted her head and looked at Aiden thoughtfully.
"And do you know what you`ll be having tonight?" The waiter asked as he shifted his weight to one foot and looked between them.
Aiden looked back at the waiter again.
"Spagetti." He replied simply once more.
Aiden turned his head to Stacey.
((Shortness. >.<))
((It`s okay, I`m just glad you`re on!))
The waiter nodded and smiled, walking away quickly to another table.
Stacey, who was still looking at Aiden, grinned suddenly.
"You know, you are so predictable."
((Woot. =P))
Aiden grinned a large, teethy grin at her. His eyes glowed with the dim lights that held above their table. He shrugged his shoulders, not seeming bothered.
"Is that good or bad?" He replied, almost teasing her.
Stacey grinned, her eyes glowing bright blue.
"Good. Definatly good, because even though you`re predictable, you always manage to surprsie me." She shook her head, looking down at the table. The waiter whisked by and gave them their water.
Aiden continued to smile back at her, unable to stop himself from staring into her eyes which seemed to him that they would go on forever. He titlted his head, and rested it against his hand.
"And how do I surprise you?" Aiden asked.
Stacey shook her head again, using her straw to stir her water, which made the ice klink against the glass.
"How do you not surprsise me? You`re amazingly good at doing the very last thing I think you`re going to do." She shrugged, unable to explain it better that.
Aiden lifted his head up, but it still stayed thingyed to the side with a curious expression on his face. He ran his fingers down the side of his cool glass.
He blinkled, his eyes shining with curiousity.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
Stacey shrugged again.
"Come on, Aiden. I don`t know, you just surprise me. You always have, even that first night we met, it was just surprsie after surspise."
Aiden's grinned widened as she shrugged. He folded his arms, and leaned back in his chair.
"Well, you continue to surprise me, and I find that you're quite the opposite of predictable." He pointed out.
He leaned forward to take one of Stacey's hands in his own.
"It's a good thing though."
She laughed.
"It better be a good thing, because I`m going to be here a while." She quit playing with her straw and took his other hand, squeezing his fingers.
((SHORTNESS.))
Aiden slowly ran his pale thumb over each one of her fingers. He watched her face with a smile. Around them, the restaurant seemed busy and crowded and music play in the background. However, he only noticed her.
"What do you want to do after this? Or I should say, what did you have planned?" He asked.
Stacey smiled.
"Who says i have anything planned?" She asked. Her eyes where flickering through different colors to match the lights that were swirling around the large, noisy room. She turned his hand over and traced his fingers lightly with one of her own.
Aiden twitched his fingers slowly, feeling her own fingertips tracing his palm slowly and gently. He looked into her eyes and grinned, his own shining their own dark, unique color.
"You seem like you know what you're doing to me." He pointed out, his tone almost teasing.
"What would you like to do next?" Aiden asked next.
Stacey shrugged and smiled.
"Do you really think I care what we do? As long as I`m with you, I`m just fine." It did sound a little cheesy, but it was true. Literally. It began as an ache in her stomach, but if she stayed away from him too long it soon progressed into a whole-body ache.
Aiden smiled, only focusing on Stacey and not the atmosphere around them. He squeezed her hand, continuing to rub his thumb over the back of her palm.
"Well, I don't care either. I'm fine with just being near you honestly. I want you to pick, though." He said, his eyes glowing.
Stacey smiled happily, her eyes sparking a bright blue for a moment before settling back down to their normal magnificence.
"Hey, I did pick this place. Besides, you don`t pick nearly as often as I do." She replied, wrinkling her nose with a grin.
Aiden made a face and shrugged, knowing she was right. He preferred Stacey picking, hating all the ideas he came up with and the feeling he was being too controlling.
Aiden swirled his straw around his cold glass of water, the ice hiting the side gently making a clicking sound. He stared at the glass, listening to Stacey.
"So." He began, knowing he didn't have much of an argument.
"I like it when you pick."
Stacey smiled at Aiden, her eyes sparkling as she looked at him. He just looked so handsome, especially now. The past few days had been such a blur, so much happiness in so little time.
"I love you, you know." She replied instead, taking a sip on her wated and squeezing his hand.
Aiden smiled magnificently as he watched her drink the water and grin at him. He moved forward, leaning over the table and kissed her softly on the lips. His eyes shined a light brown before leaned back into his chair.
"I know, as I love you. More than anything." He replied, turning to kiss each of her fingers now.
Stacey grinned, her eyes shooting into a brighter color when their lips touched. She hand`t really expected the kiss, but that was just how things rolled.
"Anything?" She asked. The waiter came back before he could respond, setting two plates down on the little table. "Even spaghetti?" She added, nodding towards the plate in front of Aiden, which was heaped with spaghetti.
Aiden frowned as if he was making a hard decision. However, a playful sparkle glowed in his dark eyes. He swirled his straw around his cold glass again.
"Of course." He replied a moment later.
"Anything babe. Even spagetti." Aiden grinned lightly.
Stacey laughed and rolled her eyes, smiling widely. She picked up her fork and twirled it between her fingers.
"Sometimes I wonder, I think you inhale more spagetti than oxygen." She teased, winking at him. She felt so happy there, teasing him and having dinner. It just felt right, like nothing else could ever go wrong.
Aiden laughed a low chuckle with a large grin on his face as his white teeth shined in the light. He took Stacey's hand and rubbed his thumb over the top of her palm. He took a sip of his drink and watched her smile.
"I wish.". Aiden replied playfully.
"But I really do love you more than anything. I couldn't imagine being here with anyone else but you, love. Honestly.". He explained.
Stacey squeezed Aiden`s hand, also taking a drink.
"I know, my moon. I don`t know what I would have ever done if I hadn`t met you. I think I might have gone crazy without you here." She said softly.
((This topic`s gone on for a while. Do you think it`s time to call it quits?))
Aiden squeezed her hand and stared into her eyes. He couldn't help but notice the large ring on her left hand. He smiled at her, unable to look away from her beautiful face.
"I couldn't live without you. Ever." He reminded her.
"Forever and always, love."
((That's fine with me.))
