Heather paced around the common room, she was worried for her brother and grandfather. Her brother hadn't messaged back to their parents for over five months and her grandfather had cancer. He was sure to die, she loved her grandpa with the most love out her family, he had lost his wife to cancer as well, Heather was always his favorite. No matter what, when he was down, she'd come visit and cheer him up. Then a bond had formed between them, when her half-brother had soccer games or practices she'd sneak off to the retirement home where her grandfather lived and have fun there. Her parents never cared where she went during her brother's practices and games. They knew she would come back. If she was gone for more then nine hours and they have no idea where she is, they get worried. Heather had a tear-streaked face, and if you looked closely you could see more tears coming, they kept coming and coming. She was wearing a light blue t-shirt with a white flower design on it and jeans with light blue sneakers, her hair was messy due to stress.
(Best for her friends to join, like Avalee and Vivian.)
Vivian walked into the common room, she liked spending time in there. She thought she heard crying, Vivian knocked on the door. "Hello?" She said in a worried voice. Vivian had know idea who was in there, but she wanted to help. "Are you ok? Can I come in?"
Heather said her voice breaking and turning into sobs "Vivian? Sure you can come in." She had sunk to her knees, she was holding a picture of her grandfather, he meant alot to her. (he looks like the photo below.)

It was Heather, Vivian thought to herself. Vivian opened the door to see Heather on the floor sobbing. She quickly ran over and put one of her arms around her shoulders. "Heather whats wrong?" She said concerned. Heather had became one of her closest friends here.
Heather couldn't bring herself to speak not even with her powers, which were at the moment going berserk. She gave Vivian a letter of what was going on, her parents had sent her it.
Hey Heather,
I got bad news, your Grandfather was taken to the hospital because he had a heart attack and he had complained about pains from his stomach going to his back. He has been dianoigsed with cancer, he is gonna be staying at the hospital for awhile and your brother has gone missing for over five months. The police are looking for him. It's best for you to stay at the school for now. Concentrate on your studies, your Grandfather will be out of the hospital in no time. Anyway, your mother is pregnant. Yes, I know what your gonna say. But at least you'll have a new brother/sister! Good luck, see you when summer vacation comes around and I will keep you updated.
Love Dad
She was super scared, she always says to her parents to stop trying to get her mum knocked up. She hoped she would get a little sister, she didn't want another brother and boys overpowering the girls.
(I gotta go to bed, night Vivian. Avalee should be posting here soon.)
Vivian read the note carefully. "Oh, Heather I'm so sorry." She said sincerely giving Heather a hug.
((Night!))
(Morning!)
Heather hugged Vivian, and says which ends up be a quiet broken whisper "It's okay, at least he tried to lighten up the mood about telling me that I will get a little sister or brother. My grandfather means alot to me. You are one of my best friends."
Vivian smiled, trying to make Heather feel better. "Do you want a brother or sister? I have always wanted a sister. You're one of my best friends too.
Heather nodded and says "I want a sister. I'm worried for my brother, I've known him ever since I've been able to walk and talk. Same with my grandpa." She felt a little bit better.
Vivian smiled she always wanted a sister to give advice to, and help her out with her problems along the way. "I'm sure your brother will come home, or the police will find him. Don't worry." She wanted to make Heather feel better.
"Yeah, but he has been reported missing for the last five months, and he was out with Aurors for a special training. I'm very worried for him Vivian, he might be dead and never come back! He might of joined the death eaters!" She started to tremble, her crying turned into bawling and she kept sobbing!
Vivian hugged Heather and patted her back. "Shhh, Don't worry. He'll come home, and he will be safe." She said in a whisper, but confidently. She pulled a box a tissues form a desk and offered Heather them.
Avalee walked into Heathers room without knocking. She was worried, she heard crying. She was still depressed, and her anxiety disorder had relapsed, she was worse now, she was having several anxitey attcks a week. Sometimes once a day. She still was losing wait. She was in friend mode now, she was here to comfort. "Heather! Viv, what happened?"
Vivian looked at Avalee and smiled, she gave her the note that was sitting on the floor that Heather had giving her. She was afraid if she said anything it would make Heathers crying worse.
Heather nodded as Vivian told her that he was safe and will come home. She remembered the last time she relapsed this moment, except instead of Vivian and Avalee, it was Erica and Luc. It was just before she went to Hogwarts, she hadn't want to go and want wanted to stay with her friends in the muggle school. She watched Avalee as she read the letter.
She frowned as she read the letter, she was angry now. The letter made her angry. It was very short, and it was too formal, to be from a father to her daughter after such tragedy. She sat on the other side of Heather, comforting her the best she could.
Heather felt more tears coming, she had heard Avalee's thoughts about the letter, which were totally true about her parents. They had never totally cared about her and always tell her to be more like her brother. She hated that her parents couldn't accept her like she was. If her grandfather survives and is rid of cancer, then if she has a sister then she'll take her sister and herself to her grandfather and have him adopt them, or if he died she wouldn't mind running away and coming to an orphanage or just go and live at her friend's house.
