I think it will be about harry and hermie and ron (maybe ginny) hunting downt he horcrux's and destroying them...and the end battle being in destroying voldemort but...I'm not so sure that JKR won't be tempted into a spin off series..so much material there.  Of course..a new dark lord can always spring up too.  my two cents worth.

Harry Potter Books / Re: DO YOU THINK SNAPE WILL DIE
August 12, 2005, 04:47:40 AM
i don't think snape will die.  I stubbornly still believe that he was doing dumbledore's bidding in the tower and is still his man.  But I do think he has a chore ahead of him in convincing anyone of it.  Unless...Dumbledore is alive and is a phoenix animagus.  It would have gone a long long way to convincing voldemort that snape is loyal to him and without dumbledore around (he thinks) voldemort is going to start to come out a bit more, become maybe a bit too complacent.

Harry Potter Books / ok one more thing to chew over
August 5, 2005, 04:46:48 PM
Input on this one please..Harry thought for just a moment he saw a phoenix fly out of the flames during Dumbledore's funeral.  SO..how about Dumbledore was an unregistered animagus and what would he be?  A phoenix.
And of course..he would rise from the flames to begin anew.  I say that Dumbledore and snape knew what they were doing and staged that for the benifit of the death eaters.  I'm really curious to see what anyone thinks of this thought.  A powerful wizzard or a couple of them could easily make a man appear dead.   The unbreakable curse was between draco's mom and snape..he vowed to protect and look after draco and help him if he could.  I never heard him vow to kill Dumbledore..but maybe I overlooked that?

Harry Potter Books / Still on Snape
August 4, 2005, 09:52:21 AM
It's always fun to speculate.  Personally I think Snape is still Dumbledore's man..and there were a bunch of clues.
Dumbledore was so weakened by that poison that he was sliding down the pillar..He had been in a hurry for Harry to get Snape when they got back to Hogsmede.  I think Dumbledore was dying.  Snape is an accomplished occulumens..he would have known what Dumbledore was thinking.   I think Dumbledore was pleading for Snape to kill him and carry on with spying on Voldemort.  As Harry is running after Snape..Snape keeps yelling out pointers.  Not until you learn to do them in your head Potter (spells).  No unforgivable curses for you..you don't have the heart for them.  He's just fending off Harry's curses not even trying to hurt him and stopped others from hurting Harry (saying Voldemort wanted to kill Harry himself) but I'll betcha ole Voldemort wouldn't have cried over Harry's death by Snape's hand.  He also didn't join the deatheaters in trying to kill any of the Phoenix order.  Dumbledore was no bodys fool he knew why he trusted Snape and I think (in spite of the fact he doesn't like harry) that he's still working for the right group.
