You are missing the point. If I cry at a film or story it is because I can relate it to my personal life. things whcih have happened or could happen. This thread has nothing to do with that. I doubt very much you couald relate being a selfish wizard to your life. If you can, then i feel sorry for you, as you have a far too overactive imagination. this msg was not intended to offend

Well, I cried when i watched Mighty Joe young and Titanic, and neither of those movies had any personal meaning to me.  I just do indeed, have a great imagination and I can let myself "Get into"  the story.  lol.  No biggie, but, as it is a Harry Potter Forum, we do discuss the books (Movies)  And this is a good thing to discuss,   This isn't about being a nasty wizard, it is about being a nasty teen.  ;)

I like people who have overactive imaginations, they're the kind of people who are fun to be with!  ;) But, some people could relate to harry in diffrent ways, not only because he's a wizard, but he tends to be selfish, he's practically an orpahn, he tries hard in school, he have likes and dislikes. There are many things a person could have in commen with anyone in the movies, especially Harry.

Then it`s winter again :PWell,I know that Harry has dark side,but everytime I find it I am relieved to know that he is just an ordinaly boy who is not made to be a hero.He is still learning! This is exactly what JK tried to write.Because the children these days don`t believe that there is a perfect hero anymore if there is,none is attracted by him.Harry is someone whom we can find around us that`s why we love him.Don`t you agree?? :)

I agree that Harry has a dark side, but put youself in his shoes.  Wouldn't you be P***** off after a lot of that crap happened......I know I would have a dark side, it wouldn't make sense if he didn't........

I cry in almost every movie I watch, and they don't relate to my life.  I'm just a naturally emotional person, although that usually annoys people, hearing sniffing all through a movie. :-\ I just can't help it.  I always get myself 'into' the movies, because I do have an overactive imagination.

I agree with you, Audrey.  Harry seems to be a realistic character, and that it what I think attracts everybody to him.  We all can relate ourselves to Harry in some way. :)

We all have a arker side, the only reason you can't tel with some people is cause they think before they act....I act more spontanously. I've pined kids against the walls in school.

wow! lol....acually I get away with a lot, but I also get in trouble for not doing anything.....I am pretty smart with not getting caught when doing stuff (ginny.....business, oh and science project thingy, lol)
