I really don't think that serius is dead, because when voldemort performed the death--whatever it's called-- curse on harry's parents, there was a green flash. when serius was "killed" by a death eater--and it was the same exact curse--it was a red flash. what do u think?

I don't know if Sirius is dead but if he is it isn't from the curse Lestrange shot at him. It was the fact that he fell through the veil.

Do you remember thar mirror that Sirius gave Harry so Harry could talk to him? I don't think JK would put that in and for it to have absolutely no further use  in the story. I think with that mirror somehow, Harry would be able to talk to Sirius again.

According to the books, Sirius fell through what seems to be a doorway to another world, in other words, the place where the dead inhabit. He can't return from that place and he is thus reffered to as dead. He was not killed by a spell, just hit by one that pushed him into the veil.

However, rumors suggest that Harry would be still able to communicate with Sirius using the two-way mirror.

Oh, yeah, and to verify your doubts, the red flash was either the Stunner 'Stupefy' or the Disarmer 'Expelliarmus'. As for the green flash, it's the killing curse 'Avada Kedavra'.

Nah, you're not unworthy. I only read the books once. The reason I remember that part is because my poor Sirius died. :'(

I do think that Sirius is truly dead. I must admit that i just finished reading OotP and like usual, I cried when i got to the part where sirius died.  WAHHHH!  Plus, Dumbledore, Lupin, and Nearly-Headless Nick all told Harry that Sirius wont come back.  I really wish he would though.  He was one of my favorite characters.

I don't think Sirius is died like.... I don't know who said it.....but we never saw Sirius die and another world does not necessaraly mean the world of the dead.

i mean, it may be either logical or wishful thinking on my part, but i did cry when he "died," before i thought about it about 3 months later. or my friend pointed it out to me.  :-[ he was my favorite character, too, and we only knew him for 3 books, and in the first book he was in, he was supposedly a murderous lunatic, and then we got to know and luv him, so...........yeah, im done. :'( and, just a question, how do u create a sig?
