I hope you all like this one, I have finished the others so had to start a new one again.  I will not post to this quite too much as you all need to finish the other two first,. lol, Well, I hope you like it.  Thanks to all my readers.  :-*

CHAPTER 1 Archangel

It's Christmas, the snow is falling out side, and the carolers are singing on the front steps of the Castle of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  Two people come walking on to the grounds and stand at the edge of the huge lake skirting the castle.  There is a man and a woman.  All clothed in black with their hoods over their heads, masking their identity to all who may look upon them.  The only thing about them that shows is the fact that they are indeed magic folk.  The women's eyes glow bright green under her hood, these eyes have shined like this for now, a two years.  She is the one who uncovers her head first, showing a mass of long, silky, dark reddish-brown tresses.  Her features are of an archangel; even her pale skin has the simmer of new fallen snow.  Nothing any one has seen seems to compare to her beauty.  Her male companion removes his hood as well, revealing the darkest hair, his eyes can now be seen clearly, they seem to take on the color of the coldest winter it's self.  His looks are a match to the woman's.  He smiles at her and takes her hand in his own as they walk slowly up to the castle, smiling at the children singing on the steps.

The children pause their song as the pair approach them.  The female smiles an angelic smile, warming the hearts of the children who, at her wink, begin their chorus once again, now reaching the heights of a master gospel choir.  The lady smiles at them and the pair walk through their small, singing bodies and enter the castle.

"I knew you'd come.  Thank you Kiara, Max."  A great-wizened wizard addressed them as the stepped on to the stone floor of the main hall.
"You know I would never ignore a call from you godfather."  Kiara said, stepping forward and giving her godfather a hug.
"Nice to see you again Professor Dumbledore."  Replied Max, shaking the hand of the man who married him to Kiara.
"I hope you can help us.  It seems as though your father has finally found a spot to enter the castle and I have not been able to seal it again."  Dumbledore said, turning now and walking along the West hall.

Kiara turned to Max as they walked, remembering now, every nook and cranny of the old building she once called home.  Her smile faded however as soon as they mounted the steps to the West tower.  Kiara paused, looking up the massive steps, remembering how she had been, too many times, possessed into entering the room that surely awaited her up there.  Max grasped her hand and turned a bright smile at her, making her feel both warm and safe.  Her eyes however, began to loose their green glow, they seemed to be changing and now shimmered a red flame behind the green making them seem multi colored and almost frightening.  Her angelic look began to take on the presence of evil it's self the closer they came to the top of the steps.  Max stopped her at the top, holding her hand tight now.  He could feel the rage building up inside and hoped that he could only contain her from reverting to the monster her father had once turned her into.

"I am sorry Kiara, I hope you can help.  You are the only one who can enter there now.  After your father took you ---" Dumbledore trailed off, looking from Kiara to Max.  He knew she couldn't do it with out him, but he hoped he was wrong.  There was no way Max would be able to enter with her.

Max held tight to her hand until she pulled it from his grasp.
"No, it's ok, I'll be ok."  She said in a far off almost hollow tone.
:"Kiara, I'm here, don't let him take you again.  You can seal it, even if it means ---" Max trailed off, not wanting to think of the possibility.  He had spent too many nights waiting for her to come back to him last time.  She had disappeared for weeks; no one saw her and she never talked about it.  She never talked about how she had killed herself to defeat her father, although as he had stated, he can never truly die and he hadn't.

Kiara took a step closer to the now opening door.  She watched as the all to familiar sight of the glowing room appeared in front of her.  She felt the almost overpowering strength of her father in the room, tasted the power and felt it begin to heat her veins as she stepped closer.  Kiara's eyes shown a deep glowing red now, her steps became more prominent and soon, she had stepped inside the room and the door slammed shut behind her.

Max lunged at the door and tried to pry it open but soon realized his efforts were futile at the very best.  He knew she'd be in there for sometime now so he slid himself down the wall and sat on the stone floor to wait.

"I am sure she will be ok Max.  She wouldn't have gone in if she didn't believe.  She is much stronger now than ever she was before."  Dumbledore said although he to had his doubts.

The two stood and sat out side the door that contained what, they did not know.  They just knew that someone they both loved more than life it's self was in there and they also knew she was the only one who could save the school and that was why she was in there.

"I've noticed her eyes still have not gone back to normal since –" Dumbledore started then trailed off.
"No, they haven't, I think that perhaps the Gods may have made it so.  They sent her back to me and I am grateful, I love her more than life.  I only wish they'd let her live in peace now.  They won't leave her alone any more.  Task after task, they seem relentless."  Max started and looked at Dumbledore.
"She needs to heal the earth she nearly destroyed Max and I don't think until it is repaired, she will truly be alive again.  I think also, there is something else, perhaps she doesn't want to give in to herself.  Does she ever talk of it?"  Dumbledore asked.
"No, she refuses to.  I bring it up and she closes her eyes and turns away.  I don't really even know how it happened.  All I know is that if she doesn't talk to someone soon, she might snap again.  That's why it took us so long to get here.  She's frightened of becoming that cruel person again.  She wants nothing less, she wants to be with us and she wants her father dead."  Max responded, not taking his eyes off the door leading to her father's special room.
"I understand that.  Maybe, this is something she needs to do then."  Dumbledore started then smiled.  "She looks like an angel now.  I don't think I have ever seen anyone as beautiful as her.  Hold on to her Max; don't let her slip away from you, from us.  You saw what effect she had on those children, total opposite of her former self.  She truly is an Angel."

Max sat on the floor, continuing to stare at the door and smiled.
"I know, she's taken on a whole new persona.  As far as how beautiful she is, she has always been so.  From the first moment I saw her to the time she walked through that door just a few moments ago, she has always been the most beautiful woman who ever walked this earth."  Max replied, now looking up at Dumbledore with a seriousness that surpassed any the great wizard had ever seen in his long life.  Then Max turned his attention back at the door once again, waiting for Kiara to come out.

Dumbledore leaned himself against the wall and smiled to himself, thinking of what Kiara had become and how Max still, he didn't think so any way, hadn't quite grasped the fact that his wife truly was an Archangel, fallen from the sky, charged now with repairing the damage she herself inflicted on the earth when she was called The Dark Lords Shadow.

                     CHAPTER 2 INSIDE THE ROOM

Kiara stood inside the room and winced as the door slammed shut behind her.  Her red glowing eyes surveyed her surroundings.  She thought to herself how nothing seems to have changed in here then her eye caught a new object.  It sat shining over in the far West corner of the room.  It seemed to shine brighter than anything else in the room.  Kiara took a deep breath and walked over to it, bending down, and touching it.

There was a shudder in the inner section of the room, sending a wave of hot air over to her.  She stood and turned around to find herself face to face once again with her father.  Kiara took two small steps backwards then straightened and looked into his hideous red eyes.

"Welcome back Kiara."  Voldem0rt said in a short wicked hiss.
"Don't welcome me so soon, old man.  I'm not here to play you're little games.  I'm here to see to it that you can no longer enter this place and creep about its corridors leaving you're foul stench behind."  Kiara responded with a flash of her eyes and using a tone that told her father of the deepest hatred she feels for him.

Voldem0rt laughed slowly, the sound of his evil laughter filled the room and made her skin crawl.  Kiara stood her ground, a shimmering glow surrounding her form and steadily growing, pushing towards her father.

"It would seem in death, you have become a formidable adversary child.  Although, you still continue to underestimate your father.  How is it you intend to defeat me and drive me from this school?  I don't wish to leave so easily."  Voldem0rt said, letting his own dark shield extend slowly toward his daughter.

Kiara grinned as she watched her father's dark cloud of magic come towards her light one.  She felt stronger than ever, her anger was being focused on her father, and instead of him being able to manipulate it, Voldem0rt was forced to fight it.  She controlled her own, for once, for the first time.

Both dark and light forces came together with loud thunderous claps, sparks of light emitted from their point of contact, illuminating the room even brighter.  Both Voldem0rt and his daughter were forced to look away from the blinding light.

Kiara's whole body trembled with the effort to hold him back.  Beads of sweat began to appear on the forehead of the Great Dark Wizard as he too, trembled with the effort to overcome his daughter.  Suddenly, with a great loud boom both, the Dark Lord and his daughter were flung across the room, each landing hard on their side as their fields exploded, neither being able to overcome the other.

Kiara stood shakily from the floor, he father doing the same.  She glared at him, he smiled at her.
"Very good, very good, lets try something else."  At his last words, he pointed his wand.  "Felite Incantatem!"  He yelled, intending to blow her up.

Kiara laughed as she simply blew the curse off course, blowing at it gently with her lips.
"You'll have to do much better than that, father."  She growled, her once red glowing eyes changing now back to the green they were before.

Voldem0rt noticed this and for some reason, his usual dreaded mask of evil turned now, just for an instant, to that of complete fright.  He knew at that instant, there was no hope of him either winning this battle or, to win her back to his side.
"Avada Kedavra!"  He yelled in one last attempt to kill his daughter.

It seemed to fly in slow motion, the green light from his wand.  He could see a flicker of annoyance from his daughter but noting else.  Had he made the final mistake?  Had he truly helped to raise the very being that might possible take him from this world for good?   In a matter of seconds, which seemed forever to him, Voldem0rt witnessed his own daughter take the killing curse straight in the chest and she merely laughed at it.
"NO!"  Volden0rt screamed in anger.  "No it can't be!"  Then he dissaperated from the room, leaving Kiara standing in awe of what had happened, thinking perhaps she only survived this curse because she had already died once.  Was she right?

Kiara sealed the rift in the room from which her father had come then turned and walked from the room.  When the door shut behind her Kiara turned and put her hand on the door, Max and Dumbledore could hear a loud bang, then smoke billowed out from under the door.  Kiara turned and smiled at Max.
"He's gone from here and won't be back, at least not through here."  She said to Dumbledore.

"What happened in there, Kiara?"  Max asked, hanging on to her hand.
"He left."  She replied, putting an ending to the questions either Max or her godfather might have by turning towards the stairs and descending down, not turning back.  She left behind an old nightmare, one of which would never darken her sleep again.

CHAPTER 3 Forgiveness

Later that night, Max and Kiara joined the staff table for dinner.  Kiara looked out at all the students gathering at their perspective tables, some mingling with others from different houses, but never a Slytherin with a Gryffindor.  Kiara frowned.
"How is it Godfather that they still do not trust one another when it is clearly to their benefit to join together in the world?"  She asked, remembering her vow at the end of her school year to make a union with the Lion house and the serpents, just before her turn to the Shadow.

Dumbledore looked out amongst his students, his expression just as grave as his goddaughter.
"After you turned, they parted once again, fighting over things such as who was right to rule the planet and who was too weak to do so.  The same old bitterness came about, never to be replaced with the peace you left them with."  He finished, looking sadly at his goddaughter, knowing she would take it as her fault they parted again.

Max looked at Dumbledore, his eyes telling him a whole story of the hope his wife had in the fact that the children would forever remember her lesson.  He then took Kiara's hand in his own and held it, twining his fingers with hers.  Kiara looked over and smiled at him, her green, glowing eyes alight with angelic love for this man.

"Worry not my love, I will make it right again.  I need ask forgiveness from both houses, I need to show them the possibility of another war, then, perhaps then, they will once again follow my lead in befriending the other."

Kiara then stood and looked out over the students.  A hushed silence fell over them, she need not say a word, they knew who she was, they all looked upon her as if waiting to be struck down on the very spot they sat.

Kiara smiled at the children sitting around, looking up at her.  The smile she sent out put them at ease, he angelic features telling them all would be all right.  Dumbledore stood up now, next to his goddaughter.  He cleared his voice then spoke.

"All of you have heard the stories surrounding Kiara, she has come here and now has driven Voldem0rt from the school.  It is not that she wished to address you, it is the simple act of getting along that she left behind when she abruptly left our presence those few years ago, that she wished to speak with you about."  Dumbledore turned and nodded to his goddaughter, Kiara looked down at Max, sitting watching, as he always has, then smiled lovingly at him and turned to the school.

"Hi, as Professor Dumbledore so clearly stated, I am not here for anything but to help.  There is one other thing however, and I ask this not lightly, I ask your forgiveness, the forgiveness I seek is not for the destruction I have caused in the past but for leaving you all behind, for abandoning you, the school, when I should have been here to hold the Houses together."  Kiara paused as the room stirred wit the murmurs of the many students sitting there, some, giving her a less than friendly glare.  "When I left here, I made a statement that still holds true today, and that statement was that the school and the rest of the world will not survive against my father unless they unite.  Slytherin and Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, Muggle and Magic folk, none of us will survive unless we all band together to fight against our true enemy."

"But you left us, left us all here to rot when you yourself, joined your father."  One Slytherin boy said.

The room began to buzz again and Kiara looked at the now standing Slytherin boy with her angel-like eyes and smiled.
"You are right, I did, and unless I am forgiven for my loss of control over the inner self that was me, then all hope for fighting and winning against my father is dead.  I am asking you, all you children for forgiveness, with out it, we can not make a new start."  Kiara finished and sat down, the Slytherin boy followed suit.

The Hall suddenly rang with discussion over the possibility that Kiara had offered them, no one really understood why, they had to forgive her, but Max knew and so he kissed Kiara on the cheek and whispered into her ear.
"Without the children working together to sway their parents, what chance do we have?"
"With out full exoneration, I'm lost.  I need the children; they are the ones who can truly defeat my father.  I need their undying trust, or they won't follow."

         CHAPTER 4 Harry Potter

The following day, Kiara and Max woke up in the room of requirements, where they had stayed the night at Dumbledore's request.  Then like the rest of the school, the headed for breakfast in the Great Hall, as they approached the head table, Kiara stopped and bowed her head.

Sitting next to Dumbledore was her brother and the one person she had never been able to face, after all she had done.  Asking forgiveness from the students was one thing, but to ask the forgiveness of her brother after killing his best friend, was yet another thing.

Max took hold of her hand, intending to stand by her no matter what might happen.  He knew this was the hardest thing on her.  She heard from Harry once, and in the letter he wrote he stated that he hadn't known if he could ever forgive her for killing Ron.  Even though, she really had no control over what she did when she was The Shadow.

Kiara started to walk again, knowing the eyes of all the students were upon her.  If she show weakness now, all would be lost.  She couldn't do this on her own; it was no longer her job.  Killing her father had to be left to the children of this school.  No one, not even Dumbledore could help in that.

Max and Kiara walked to the table and took their seats next to Dumbledore, Harry on the opposite side.  Max nodded in greeting to Harry who smiled slightly and nodded back then let his gaze fall on his sister.

For a split second Harry wanted to go over there and hug her, tell her everything was ok and that he had forgiven her but then a flash of Ron's face came to his mind and he quickly turned away and said nor did, anything.  Kiara sat and looked out over the students.

Their breakfast went rather quickly, no one spoke save for Professor McGonnigal who talked with Professor Flitwick at some length on the amount of homework she deemed necessary for the students.  Max cringed when listening to her.  She had always given him extra things to do for his rash behavior when he attended her.  Kiara smiled at his cringe.
"Perhaps it taught you a lesson in proper behavior then?"  She smiled at him.
"Nope, I don't think so."  Max teased back.
"Ya, perhaps you are right, you did come after me, and that, my love was just plain careless.  Although, I am glad you did."  Kiara added with a kiss on his cheek.

That was that, the end of their breakfast.  The students all filed out of the hall and off to their classes, as did the teachers.  Dumbledore stood and nodded to Max.
"How about we go visit Hogsmead?  If memory serves me correctly, you spent a lot of time there a few years ago."  His eye twinkled as he revealed the fact that he knew of Max and Kiara's escapes to Hogsmead when they were at school.
"You never missed a thing, did you?"  Max smiled.

Together, Dumbledore and Max left Harry and Kiara alone.  Both of them neither looked at one another nor spoke for a very long time.  They just sat at the head table, staring at nothing and no one.

When finally, Harry did speak, his words were short and abrupt.
"Why Ron?"

Kiara closed her eyes and bent her head down then sighed.
"Harry, I didn't know who he was, the only reason I knew you was that father told me who you were.  Every one was the same to me, no one mattered, but myself, not even father meant a single thing in the end.  If Max hadn't –" She trailed off, knowing now that her confession as to knowing and remembering who Max was, would not help the situation at all.

"You see, that's what I don't get.  You remembered who Max was, at the right time.  Why Ron, Kiara, why?"  Harry persisted.

A tear ran down Kiara's cheek and she turned to Harry.
"Because he was protecting you Harry.  I meant to kill you and not him."  She said softly holding his gaze in hers now.

Harry opened his mouth to speak but no words would come.  He couldn't believe that Ron was dead because he had protected him.  All this time, he thought Ron had died for no reason, all this time and he was wrong.  He didn't know why but some how, this made things better.  He lost his best friend, his sister had killed him, and now, he knew why.

"Kiara, let's take a walk, for old time sake."  Harry said as he stood from the table.

Kiara stood wordlessly and followed her brother from the hall and out into the snowy grounds of Hoggwarts.  Again, neither said a word, they walked in silence around the lake.

"Remember that spot?"  Harry asked, pointing to the shore where a small bush sat alone by the lake.
"Ya, that's where Ron pulled me to shore and saved my life, I remember."  Kiara replied quietly.
"Ya, he saved your life.  If he hadn't saved your life, he wouldn't be dead now.  However, I am glad he did."  Harry stopped and turned to his sister.  "It would seem, our friend Ron had a way of saving our lives, now wouldn't it."  He then grabbed her about the waist and pulled his sister to him in a hug.  :"I miss you Kiara, I forgive you.  Ron forgives you too, I'm sure."

Kiara felt as though she was going to float away, she wanted to cry, but nothing would come.  Harry hugged her for a long time, repeating over and over again how he forgave her and Kiara hugged him back, a ray of light shining on the two of them as if the sun it's self was rejoicing in there found again love for one another.  Brother and sister, they were again and now, the world could be a happier place for the two.
