CHAPTER 5 RETURN TO THE FOREST




    Later that evening, after Harry had gone home and Max and Kiara were sitting in their room in the school.  Kiara stood, her sheer floor length sleeping gown cascading to the floor.  She turned to Max and smiled.
"How about a trip into the forest, for old time sakes?"
"Sounds like fun to me."  Max answered, wondering if Dumbledore knew of their trips there as well.  He figured that yes, he probably did.

Not bothering to change, Kaira took his hand and they walked from th castle and intot he forest.

"Remeber the spot Lavender gave us?  Let's go see if it still stands."  Kaira smiled at him.

Her smile was brighter than it had been for a really long time.  She didn't have the underlying dread and hoplessness she ahd before they came here.  that, is waht Max had hoped for.  He had suggested to Dumbledore to let her try and rid the school of her father and also, that Harry be there, it had all turned out good, so far.

"I do remember, let's go."  Max replied simply, taking her hand in his, lacing their fingers together and givng her that old, up to no good, smirk of his.
