RP....The Dining Hall

*She sits in the Dining hall, an hour or so before dawn, at the end of the Gryffindor table, alone, eating a bit of toast, and reading a book, laid out on the table before her. Her eyes run back over the pages as she reads, unmoving. The hall was unusually silent, as no one else but she resided inside, and very dark, save for the candle she'd set a few inches away, to light her book..*

*sits next to her,yawning.*morning.

[_Lavender_]

*She looks up at him, a bit startled, as she had been too deeply entranced in her book to see him come up to her.
Dark rings circled her eyes, that flickered over his form, and then met his eyes, a smile forming upon her lips.*
Hey Ron. What brings you to my humble circle of candle-light so early in the morning?

[Candace]

*she walked through the doors and saw Lavender, she walked over and sat down next to her* "Morning!" *she said very happily as if she had already had three cups of coffe*

[_Lavender_]

*She turns toward Candy, raising an eyebrow.*
You too. What is up with you two today? I don't think I've ever had the company of another this early in the moning, here in the Great Hall.
*She smiles, amused*

[Candace]

*returns the smile* "I dunno, I just couldnt sleep this morning."

[_Lavender_]

Ah. I know the feeling well.
*She offers a sort of half-grin*

[Candace]

*smiles* "Yeah, I've been awake all night and I just couldnt take it anymore, I had to get out of bed."

[_Lavender_]

*She laughs.*
I've lost count of the days. Sleep doesn't come to me as easily as it would to others. It never has,
*She picks up the plate at her left.*
Toast?

[Candace]

*takes some toast out of the plate* "Thanks." *she said as she put some butter on it*

[_Lavender_]

She nods. She yawns deeply, and as she does so, the candles, forever hovering over their heads, became suddenly alight with tall, icy flames. Then, as the yawn ended, they returned to their unlit, cold hovering state.

"Welcome."

[Candace]

"So how has your morning been so far?"

[_Lavender_]

"Unusual, actually. Very quiet."

[Candace]

"Thats good, I dont like quiet though. I'll have to think of a way to make it a bit louder"

[_Lavender_]

She looks distanced, suddenly, but only briefly, for her tiredness returns.
"In my life, a spare moment of silence is rare, and therefore lovingly accepted. Though, most of the time, the silence is always interupted by trouble."
