He chuckled darkly.
"Hello Josh. What's new?"
He stopped a few feet away from them, and leaned his back against a tree, crossing his legs at the ankle and crossing his arms across his chest, the hood of his cloak fallen over his head, so he was in shadows, added by the cover of the large tree. He melted into the blacks easily.

She had been walking and had heard them. She walked over, Moonlight beside her. "Hey guys." She nodded at them, neither smiling nor frowning.

Zack nodded in reply, silent, meeting the wolf's eyes at her side. He reached in his pocket and retrieved a long piece of soft bark, setting it half-way in his mouth; he then crossed his arms again, and chewed on it, never breaking the gaze from the wolf's.
He was simply another shadow, as he leaned against that tree, emotionlessly angered, and silent about it. He hadn't been back to Hogwarts long, and yet he was already settling back into his old routine. He chewed the bark in a rather wolfish, grumpy way, though he was all-ears to everything going on.
He shook his head, amused, as the wolf finally turned away, and sat by Ginny.
