"Hey Josh."

Lavender was suddenly sitting next to him on the shoreline, her feet dangling into the waters, her hands in her lap, and her raven hair streaming out behind her in the light breeze. She wore a simple black bikini, which fixed it so that her pale skin looked soft and white as snow. Her shoulders were slumped unexplainably, largely out of character, and she cared not to disguise it.

"Nuthin." She replied quietly, raising her head to force a smile his way, though her eyes did not meet it. Her eyes were the only window to the depths within her solemn, dark, and loving, light character. There was nothing she could ever do about her eyes.
