along with Emily they went down to the Great Hall for breakfast, Viktor Krum came up to Hermione.

said Hermione wondering what he had to say.

"Will you please go to the ball vith me?"

Hermione blushed scarlet.

"Well OK"

Viktor grinned a gave her a kiss on the lips.

Hermione felt nervous all over.

"Hermione?" asked Ron

"What's wrong?"

"Oh! Nothing!, really!"

Ron nodded furiously and glanced at Emily.

All of a sudden Harry came up to Hermione and looked at her.'Hermione can I have a word?'

'Well you could' said Hermione not knowing what he was going to say, he grabbed Hermione in a private corner, they made sure no one was in ear shot.

'Hermione,Will you please......I mean wanna go to the ball with me?' Harryaksed quietly.

Hermione wanted to say yes instanly, but Viktor.

'Listen Harry,I've already been asked to the Halloween Ball , How about the Chirtmas Ball?' said Hermine silently.

'Thanks anyways" harry grumbled.

Hermione felt upset.

Well there's always next time Hermione thought.

Harry ran into Cho, with all her friends giggling, Harry looked up at Cho and grumbled.

"Sorry' he mumbled to Cho.

Harry felt himself turning Red, why??

Harry needed a date to this ball

Harry got himself up and he needed to get some courage.

"Cho, Can I have a word?"

Cho nodded and said: "OK"

Cho's friends started giggling, just like before when Harry asked her last year, when she went with Cedric.

Harry tried not to turn Red.

"Cho, will you go to the ball with me?" Harry asked, looking at Cho with a face.

Cho turned red.

"OK, sure, I thought you'd never ask"

Harry turned deeper red, Cho was going to the ball with him!.

"I'm glad Hermione isn't going with me!" Said Harry cheerfullly, Cho looked up and spotted Hermione.

Hermione had heard something she looked at Harry, did Harry hate her?, why did he ask me to the ball?, oh that's right!, he just didn't want to look  stupid because he didn't have a date!, Well that's how he is!

Hermione felt tears well up in her eyes.

Harry looked up.

"Hermione!, i didn't mean it in mean way!"

Hermione didn't listen, she ran off so she couldbe with Emily.
