Hermione pulled on her pj's (lol), along with emily, without saying goodnight to eachother they went into bed, along with Emly's 4 post bed beside her's.

Hermione tried to get to sleep.


then she heard snoring.

not again she thought

Hermione pulled the curtain which sperated her;s and Emily's bed.


Hermione stared, Emily was up to.

then who was snoring?

Hermione turned around......

Lavender was snoring.

Hermione laughed her head off while Emily was laughing into her pillow, Hermione quickly told Emily off, she went to bed, what a night she was having.

Hermione woke up, the sound of snoring was not heard, so Hermione took it that Lavender was up, which Hermione didn't really care.

'Em!, c'mon let's go to the Great Hall for breakfast, we have tostart lessons soon!" Hermione exclaimed, looking at Emily who was tired.

Hermione, Emily, Harry, Ron and Ginny hurried down to the great hall, with a smell of toast under there noses.


They Sat down at the Gryffindor table, waiting for what was going to happen next.

Emily wasamazed of how many students were seated at all four tables, The Slytherin's had glum looks on there faaces, because since Gryffindor was so talktive.


"Attention please, we have bee informed that there will be Actions going on, we have been informed that the Ministrey Of Magic, would like to start having ball's there will be some for special occasions!, please bring a partner in oder to go!' Professer McGonagall announced.

"As such Beauxbatons and Durmstrang will be coming!, remember them! pelase be nice to them again!, we wil greet Them like last year!" Dumbledore announced.

Emily looked surpised and happy, she grinend from ear-to-ear, Emily glanced at Allison and Shely who were already getting asked to the ball.

Hermione wondered, who would she go with?, Harry or Ron?, but Viktor was coming!, Hermione wondered if Viktor would remember her from last year, she was supposed to go To Bulgaira, would he be mad?

Hermione shook her head.

'As in Let's eat!' Dumbelodre annouced.

with a snap of a finger food and goblet's appered ion the Gryffindor's, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw's table.

Everyone finished and heading off to classes Hermione over heard people asking other kids to the dance:

"Lavender will you go to the ball with me?" Seamus asked.

Lavender blushed nervoulsy.

"Alright Then"

"Parvati, can you go to the ball with me?" Dean asked.

'Yes!" Parvati said.

'Oi!Angelina, go to the ball wioth me , will you?" Fred asked.

Angelina nodded.

"Katie!, will you go the ball with me?" George asked.

Hermione walked pass the couple's hoping somone would ask her, she waited for Emily.

maybe Viktor wll go with her she thought.

Emily met Hermione they had to go to Defence against the Dar Arts, Hermione was happy she'd get to see professer Lupin, he was the nicest teacher they ever had.

Emily greeted Hermione, then Ron walked by.

"Erm-Emily, C-Could I have a word?" Ron asked stumbling.

"Alone" He added looking up at Hermione.

5 minutes later Emiyl came walkign by, she was red.

"What's wrong?" Hermione asked Emily.

"Oh nothing!, let's get to class! we'll be late!, and you don't want that on your first day, now do you?" said Emily

'Hello Class!" Lupin greeted.


"Hello professer Lupin!" Hermioen said smiling.

"Why Hermione!" professer Lupin said.

"Today we are learning about the grim, can anyone tell me what a grim is?" Lupin said.

Hermione and Emily's hand. shot up in the air.

"Hermione?" Lupin said.

'The grim is a black shaggy dog that haunts church yards" said Hermione at once.

'Excatley 10 points fioor Gryffindor!" Lupin said.

The lesson went by quickly.

Hermione and Emily had earned 70 pointd the total lesson.

"For Homework please copy down the defintion for the Grim, and the boggart, please also read about the Avada Kedrava , that is all!" Lupin said.

none of the lessons so far were fun like Professer lupin's, Professer Lupin was trying everyday to make his lessons more exciting.

Lunch time came quickly while everyone gathered around at there tables talking about the ball.

" I wonder why Durmstrang, and beauxbaons are coming" Ron mumbled.


Eermione shurgged and ate her kidney bean pie.
