Very Bored

[Neo]

Neo stopped twirling his knife. He had given orders not to be disturbed, why was he being disobeyed? "Come in" he said, and then added "I thought I had given orders not to be distrubed?" But the rest of what he was about to say got caught in his throat, for as he said this Lavy walked into the office.

"Good morning Neo."

[Neo]

Neo stared at her, wondering what to do. He quickly rebounded, and replied "good morning Lavy, I wondered if you would come back", adding the last part in a strong but more hushed voice.

[LavyBrown]

"Yep, I'm back. So what's been going on here, since I've left?"

[Neo]

"Malfoys have been eliminated, people put inside the Ministry, and we are in the final phases of an operation to assassinate the Minister."

[LavyBrown]

Lavy sighted. "And you wonder why people don't like you. Neo you can't assassinate the Minister."

[Neo]

"Why not, it'll end a lot of our problems. People in the higher parts of the Ministry will be too afraid to do anything against us for fear of their lives. We can make it so it looks like Voldemort did it, but the Ministry will know we did it, so we can use the Voldemort part to drum up public support and the fact that we did it against the Ministry to keep them in line."

[LavyBrown]

"Have you consideried what this might do to his family,"

[Neo]

"Why should I care? Has he considered what his attacks on us has done to our makeshift family here? Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, thats how we operate here"

[LavyBrown]

"And that's why you have a limited number of supporters. I surprised you of all people haven't fuigured out by now that payback, most of the time, just maes more problems."

[Neo]

"So then what do you propose, comming from your 'extensive' expierance as a rebel? Do you expect me to just sit back and allow their leaders to send their goons to attack and destroy my organization? What kind of a leader would I be if I did nothing in response to the Ministry's attacks? You don't understand my position. I lead a group of extremely die-hard, battle hardend warriors. If I just sat back and did nothign spectacular, nothing drastic, they would rebel against me. I would be the leader of nothing except some rocks and a foolish dream. They expect, nay, demand, drastic actions against our enemies. We are warriors, we live and die by the sword so to speak. It was leaked to the people, I don't know by whom, that I have a chance to eliminate the Minister. If I don't take this opportunity, my people will consider me weak and rebel against me!"

[LavyBrown]

Lavy slammed her hands aginst the table. "So that's what this is about, ah. Making yourself look good. You have no idea what the Minisrtry will do to you when they find that you've killed the Minister. Their not all stupid, Neo. A lot of them are stone cold killers.  And unlike you they know that their cauase will never die. Don't treat me like a child I know what I'm doing and I know what I'm talking about. I've seen more then you think I've seen. Something spectacular, something drastic? Oh, I don't know find Voldemort. I think that would hold back a rebelian for at lest a few montes."

[Neo]

"That's not what its about!" Neo yelled, standing up. "Its about maintaining control and power. Men do not want brotherhood, they desire leadership. The Ministry will come after us whether we strike at their top or not. There can be no peace. We want them destroyed, they want us destroyed, thus it is impossible to have peace. This is all out warfare Lavy, and you gotta understand that horrible things must happen sometimes. Sacrifices must be made and revenge must be enflicted upon the enemy. We are a small group Lavy, we must resport to gurilla warfare, its our only tactic. We don't hurt civilians, only the Ministry, but we don't have enough people to do regular warfare. And you think my people care at all about Voldemort? The only reason we are fighting against Voldemort is so that we don't have to battle him for power later, and we get to see the inner workings of the Order to find their weaknesses. This is a struggle for power Lavy, and you better think long and hard about which side you are on."

[LavyBrown]

Lavy walked over to the bookself and grabed the autobiography. " I can't belive you would ever do this! Let me help you make the first sacrifide!I guess no one know's who's side I'm on! Well then since you can't trust me anymore and it'd so clear I'm completly clueless on waht the hells been going on for years now I'll take my leave, goodbye Neo!" Lavy though the book at him and then walked to the door. "And so it begins. The next Dark Lord has come on the false hope of peace."

Neo heard the last comment she said but ignored her. He would deal with her personally later, for now he needed to keep an eye on her and see what she would do next. "Peit! Go to Uyr and tell him to I want him and his team to follow Lavy. I want to know everything she does, right down to when she wipes her nose, understand?" "Yessir!" and Piet ran off. Neo flicked his wand and his door shut and he sat back down. He no longer felt sad at her leaving, at her anger. He had hidden his love under layers of rightoues anger just as he had planned it. Now he could do what needed to be done without worrying about Lavy. Obviously bringing her to the cause was a horrible mistake, but one that he would soon fix.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!??"
"You know exactly what I am doing."
"But why?! Why are you letting her go like this?!"
"Clam down and think about it rationally. She doensn't understand the nature of rebellion. She seems to be under this delusion that you can hug your enemy into submission. When the two sides of a war will stop at nothing but the utter annihlation of the other side, there can be no peace. You seem to forget that I did not mention the many attempts on my life the Ministry tried. I did this for a reason, I wanted to see how loyal she was, and to test her instinct for warfare. She seems to lack both"
"Just because she views things differently doesn't mean she lacks instinct!"
