Sirius isn't dead, but living in Godric Hollow

Sirius living as a ghost wouldn't make much sense to me because Nearly Headless Nick told Harry that only People who are afraid of death and want to cling to live become ghosts. At least thats what I remember. And you can say much about Sirius, but not that he was afraid to die.

I agree. Nick also told Harry specifically that Sirius wasn't going to do that, so Rowling wouldn't contradict something like that in book 7.
