Age/Birthday: 16/August 23, 1990

Appearance: In a word, small.  She is petite in frame, standing at 5'1" and with a size 0 pant.  She has silver eyes that are full of magic and inherited her mother's smooth and perfect skin, as opposed to her father's acne-prone genes.  She always wears a silver bracelet that has a charm dangling from it.  The charm says 'Cassie' on it, the name of her sister, who was killed when Cory was 14.  Accompanying this, her usual outfit is something like a big hoodie and comfortable jeans or sweatpants.

Powers: She's telempathic, which means she can transfer emotions from person to another or from herself to another (they must be actual, genuine emotions, not just like "I'll act happy so this person's happy.").  She is also telepathic (thought reading). She can control people's minds, as well, but this takes a lot of effort and power and time, and it really drains her, so she never does this unless absolutely necessary.  THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS CORY DEVELOPS HER POWERS MORE.

Likes: Her friends, learning, music, and talking to guys.

Dislikes: Death, crying, anything generally dark (including shadows or darkened rooms), and being reminded of her sister's tragic death.

History: She was born in Chelsea, London in an inn called The World's End.  Her parents were poor and considered adoption, but quickly decided to hold on to their precious baby girl.  When Cory was almost one, Cassie was born.  The girls, so close in age, were like twins.  They were in the same grade at school and were commonly taken as twins, though Cory was ten months older.

They recieved their letters to Hogwarts, and were so surprised they both fainted.  Their parents were Muggle and it was rare to have two witches in the same non-magic family.  They went ot Hogwarts excitedly and Cory discovered she was excellent at Charms, while Cassie excelled at Potions.

A week before Cassie's fourteenth brithday (Cory was fourteen as well), she was found dead in an abandoned garage behind the Kiely's house.  Cory had found her while looking for their cat, Killer.  Someone had raped and then slashed her, and Cassie had bled to death.  No one had even missed her, assuming she was at their friend Kali's house; Kali lived next door.

Cory missed the first half of her third year, and went into depression and tried many times to commit suicide.  Finally, with months of counseling and careful help, she recovered.  Now she just misses her sister immensly.

Other: Nothing, really.  Well, they did eventually find Killer (the cat).  He was stuck on the fence behind the garage, but not injured.

They never found Cassie's killer, though.  He is still out there.
