Just a bit more to add to yours!

The 4th of July was when many of America's founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independece as well. The rest were actually signed in August, I think that's the month. But America celebrates the 4th of July as Independence Day, the day we decided we would rather be our own country.

It's a really good story. And much of it is true, haha.
