Leans back in his chair in the Ravenclaw commonroom. and smiled, today was his birthday, his seventeenth, he was now of age.

Ginny appeared in the common room, holding a card.
"Hello, Devon. Happy birthday. Guess what?" She asked, pretending to hide the card and smiling at him. She didn't know him very well, but as far as she could tell, Devon was a good kid. Besides, the school gave everyone a card when they turned 17, and Ginny had volunteered to give this one by hand.

Looks up and sees Ginny "Hullo Ginny. thank you. and what would i be guessing?" he asked. His New England accent seeming a little heavier then usual.

Cho jumped from behind his chair. "Hello Devon! Happy 17th Birthday!" She gave him a brief kiss realizing Ginny was there as well. "Hi Ginny!"

smiles and kisses Cho back. "Thanks darlin'" he exclaimed. "I can't believe im of age now." He had that unbelieving look on his face now.

Cho softly laughed and said,"Accio presents." Suddenly presents came flying in.

Ginny grinned and handed Devon the card. It was a simple one, it seemed, until opened, and then fireworks blew up out of it. An ordinary card for those coming of age.

"The school. I don't normally hand deliver them, but sometimes I call in a favor to let me see the card and bring it to the student." She smiled, giving Devon a hug back and smiling.
