Summer Ball...(you know you want to come!)

"Hey Draco!" Kilynn said walking up.

"Hey Kilynn.." Draco said, happy that Kilynn hadnt lost interest in him like Lacy had.

"So are you going to the ball with anyone?" she said hoping that the answer was no.

"No..not yet anyway. Right now I'm here alone.." Draco replied, having the slightest feeling he knew what Kilynn wanted.

[Lacy]

Lacy heard Draco. She still liked him but she knew Kilynn would never let her have him. She turned back to Jason. "Do you want to go get something to drink?"

[Kilynn]

Kylinn just looked at Draco, smiled and nodded in reply to his answer.

Just get up the nerve and do it! Draco thought to himself. She's pretty..and she compliments me alot. What's not to like?? And shes sure to say yes...

"Um..Kilynn??" Draco asked, voice slightly shaky. "Eh..you know..since we're already here at the dance and we're..standing together..um..I was just wondering if maybe you'd like to eh..come to the dance with me. We could even..dance together later..if you like.."

I babbled. I babbled like a maniac...     But surely she'll say yes.... Draco thought hopefully.

Albus read Draco's thought and started too laugh. He laughed and laughed and started too cry in laughment(is that a word?).

Isabelle headed over to the drinks. She was hoping for some punch!

*sirius stood up. he was thirsty and bored. he walked over to the drink table...but found nothing interesting to drink. he sighed and looked at the people around him.*

Isabelle went got her punch and sat back down on a bench. She didn't have anyone to dance with and there was a slower song on.

Lacy winked and smiled at Draco when Jason wasnt looking. Its not like were going out... She gave Draco a flirtatious smile and walked off to get punch.

"Wh..Wh..What?" Draco stuttered, looking at Lacy, slightly shocked. He then turned back to face Kilynn. "Oh..excellent. Eh..shall we dance then?" he said, noticing that a slower song had begun to play.

Albus walked straight too Sirius and said " Are we lonesome?" Albus said jokingly.
