History of Valentine's Day
For those who didn't know!

1720 years ago, a ruler of some land, had outlawed marrige for there was a war raging on, and the men did not want to leave their families.  When Valentine had heard of this, he rebled.  He married young couples in secret.  But when the Ruler found out, Valentine was thrown in jail.  Valentine soon fell in love with the jail keepers daughter.  On February the fourteenth, Valentine was to be excecuted (by being beated with clubs, then beheaded).  He wrote a letter to the jail keepers daughter, confessing his love, and signed it 'Love, your Valentine.'  The people were so greatful for what Valentine did, they made him a saint, and gave him a holiday; the day he died.  Thus came Valentine's Day!

Get used to it Shui, every holiday is commerialised. You have to ignor it  ::) and laugh at what idiots everyone is, and enjoy yourself in your way. That's also good training for later life. :)
