Kiara Johnson

(Year 6  Chapter 1.  Return to Hoggwarts by: Kerri aka. Kiara Maul)

Harry Potter was sitting in his usual compartment with his best friend, Ron Weasley and his girlfriend, Hermione Granger.  They were talking about their summer and how it had been, especialy great because they, Ron and Hermione, were able to visit with Harry, for a change.  Since Harry began living with his godfather, Sirius Black, he had been able to have his friends over for the summer.  Unlike when he was living with those awful Muggles, the Dursleys.

Harry suddenly stopped talking, kissed Hermione and, told her and Ron that he'd be back in a moment.  Then, he got up and left.  Ron looked questionaly at Hermione who, shrugged.  She thought she knew why he left but, since Ron had a problem with Harry's sister, Kiara, she played dumb.  Not wanting to agitate Ron.

Harry had felt that, all too familure warming sensation in his chest.  It came from the mark, his sister left on him after she had saved his life.  She often made ot radiate a warmth, to let him know that she was thinking of him.

Harry walked, slowly past compartment after compartment, listening to see if he could find Kiara.  Then, he heard the, all to familure, voice of Draco Malfoy.  Harry had found his sister.  She would most definately be in there with Malfoy.  Harry knocked an the compartment door.  "Enter."  Draco said in his usual drawl.  When Harry opened the door he saw Kiara, with her head on Malfoy's shoulder.  She was asleep.  "Mind if I talk to you, alone?"  Harry asked Draco, noticing that Crabbe and Goyl, Draco's known body gards, were sitting with them.  "Sure, Potter.  Crabbe, Goyle, go visit with Pansy for a while."  Draco commanded of the two.  They both got quickly to their feet, Harry had to back out of the door-way to let them pass.  "Well, come in and have a seat then, Potter."  Draco said.  Harry came in, closing the door behind him, and sat down.  "So, Potter, what brings you away from your friends to come see me? and, why alone?"  Draco asked, some what curious as to the nature of this most unexpected visit.  Harry glanced at the sleeping Kiara.  "Is she really asleep?"  he asked.  Draco smiled.  "Yes, she's asleep.  She had me put a sleeping charm on her.  She's had an awfuly hard week and, hasn't slept much so---"  He left it hanging.  Harry thought a moment.  He had several questions and, wasn't quite sure were to start.  "How is she?  Honestly."  Harry asked, still watching the sleeping girl.  Draco regarded Harry before answering.  "She's, ok, I guess.  She insists she is but, I'm not onhundred percent convinced of it.  She's gone through a lot, this summer."  Draco replied, truthfully.  He suprised himself and, by the look on Harry's face, suprised him, as well.  He didn't know why he cared but, he felt that Harry deserved the truth.  "What, exactly do you mean, she's been thriugh a lot, this summer?"  Harry asked.  Draco took a deep breathand thought.  He wasn't supposed to tell Harry that, Kiara was working with the Ministry, to help take Lord Voldamort down.  Draco's silence only confirmed, Harry's ideas.  "She's met with our father, hasn't she.  No use in trying to hide it, answer truthfully, Draco, I, felt it, this summer."  Harry pointed at the scare on his forehead.  "I'm not sure if you are aware of the fact that, when ever Voldamort is in a peticular mood or, feeling murderouse, i get a pain, in the scare he left me with.  This summer, I felt my scare hurt at the same time I felt Kiara hurt.  I know, Draco.  I know she's met with him, at least, once."  Harry caught and held Dracos eye.  "I think, I should wake her."  Draco said, not loosing eye contact with Harry.  So, he did just that.  Kiara yawned then steached.  "Why'd you wake me up so ---"  SHe stopped when she saw Harry.  "Oh, that's why.  Hi Harry."  She yawned and smiled.  "Hi, Kiara, how are you feeling?"  Harry greeted.  He was really concerned.  Kiara looked very weak and, had dark circles under her eyes which, were nomally bright but now, looked faded and dull.  She seemed to have, lost her energy.  "was there somthing you wanted to aske me, Harry?"  Kiara said, closing her eyes and resting again on Draco's shoulder.  Harry didn't take his eyes off her, "Well, now that I've seen you, I reallt don't need to aske for a confirmation, I know for sure, you've beenvisited by, our father."  Harry replied, he had an edge in his voice.  Kiara snapped her eyes open and sat up.  "Harry I -- "  Draco put his hand on her arm,  she needed her brothers support, rather Dumbledore liked it or not.  "He knows, Kiara.  Might as well tell him the truth."  Draco winked at her, Kiara livened up a little.  Then she actually laughed softly then, turned to HArry.  "Oh, Harry.  You aren't supposed to know, this could get me in very bug trouble but --"  She went on to explain how she'd been working with the Ministry against Voldamort and how everyone wanted to keep it from Harry because, they thought it too dangerouse for him to be involved and all that.  "You can't tell anyone, Harry.  Oh, I know you'll tell Ron and Hermione but, please, no one else.  It is too dangerouse.  If word leaked out that I was spying then ---"  She left it open, there was no need to finish that statement.

Harry didn't look at all pleased.  In fact, he looked rather angry.  He turned on Draco, "And you let her get on with this!  How could you, Malfoy.  She could have been Killed!  She still could be.  If anything ---"  Kiara interupted.  Harry glared at Draco.  "Harry, Draco had no choice in the matter.  it was my decison adn mine alone.  You shouldn't be angry with him.  He's, well --"  Kiara turned and looked at Draco then back to Harry, "He's the only one who keeps me, me."  At the looks of confusion on their faces, Kiara explained, further.  "If he haddn't been with me when I first met with, father, I wouldn't be sitting here now.  You see, in order to do that which father had asked of me I had to, well, become someone else.  If I would not have seen him standing there, looking so, conserned, I'm afraid,I would have been a permanate puppet, controlled by our father."  Kiara sighed.  "Just please, Harry stay out of it.  There has got to be a reason that Dumbledore didn't want you to know.  Besides, it's too dangerouse and, I don't think I could handle it if ---"  Harry cut her off.  "Kiara, we'll stay out of it as much as possible.  Promise me though, if things get, too hard, you'll quit."  Kiara shook her head in agreement.  Harry didn't believe her but, he could always help her, if she needed it so, he gave her a hug and went back to his own compartment.  Kiara layed her head back down again and closed her eyes.  "He's not going to stay out of it.  Put me back to sleep."  Draco kissed her head then did as she asked.  Don't be a fool, Potter.  For Kiara's sake, please stay out of it.  He thought to himself.  Once again, he didn't know why he cared, maybe because of Kiara but, Harry was Voldamorts main target and, Draco knew that meant the Dark Lord was trying to controll Kiara, just enough,so he could make, the only person able to do so, Destroy, her own brother.  Don't worry, I won't let that happen, Kaira, I'll die first.  He said quietly, as he brushed her hair from her face.

(Ok, it's been a few days and I'm itching to write some more so, you'll just have ta read a lot. I hope. lol)

Harry had just finished relating to  ron and Hermione, everything Kiara had told him.  "Dumbledore actually asked her to do somthing like that?"  Hermione asked in suprise.  Ron looked rather upset and didn't say anything.  He turned and gazed out the window at the storm.  "Ya, Hermione, I had a hard time believing it myself but, like Kiara said, he was asking because, like the rest of the Ministry,  he knew she was and is, their best bet."  Harry replied, watching Ron.  "Ron, she doesn't hate you.  She just --"  Ron turned around and interupted him.  "After all those things I said and did?  She does, she must."  He stopped and turned back towards the window.  Harry started to say something more but, stopped.  He knew Ron needed to think things through.

They were all sitting in the Great Hall watching the sorting.  When the last first year was sorted into his house, Professor Dumbledore gave his usual speech.  This time, he added an extream coution to all towards wandering about after dark.

They all began to eat.  HArry noticed Mr. Fudge was sitting at the head table, next to Dumbledore.  Snape had just gotten up amd went to Kiara and whispered somthing to her.  "Their probably questioning her after dinner."  He said to Ron and Hermione.  "I should probably talk with them too."  Hermione looked at Harry.  "Harry, we're not supposed to know.  You could get her into big trouble.  You best not tell them what you think.  You do, plan on staying out of it, don't you?"  Hermione asked but, she knew better.  Harry wasn't going to stay out of it.  He couldn't, it wasn't in his nature.

After dinner, Draco and Kiara followed Snape up to Dumbledore's office.  "Come in you three, have a seat."  Dumbledore greeted.  "Kiara, this is Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic.  He's here to listen to your report."  Kiara stood up and began.  "First off, Voldamort is rather upset about loosing support from the Giants, what ever you did to get them on our side was brilliant."  She giggled.  "Sorry for that, his main target however, is not what we thought.  It seems, he really wants Harry dead.  I'm not sure as to rather he knows what I did to Harry but, I have a feeling, he does."  She looked frightened of this.  "I'm told, Harry can't be killed."  Fudge stated.  Kiara looked at him in a defeated manner.  "It's not wodely known but, when a sorcerer brings someone back from the dead, that sorcerer can also kill the one he/she gives life to.  They would be the only one who could.  At least, that's the therory."  Kiara replied.  "What do you feel is the truth, Kiara?"  Dumbledore asked her.  Kiara paused before answering.  "I, I think, the thery is correct.  I can already make Harry, feel, things when I rub the mark on my palm.  So, I think that if, I wanted to, I could also kill him."  Kiara sighed.  "I didn't want to admit it but, I guess it's for the best.  She then changed the subject and continued with the rest of her report.  "Voldamort is only doing small raids and an occational, Muggle murder, so dar.  I feel however, he has a lot more planned."  Fudge looked at Kaira questionaly.  "You seem to not be concerned for the Muggles in this, Kiara, why?"  Kiara looked Fudge angrily, in the eyes.  "Well, Mr. Fudge, it would seem, to me, anyway, that an occational Muggle sacrifice is far better than a horrid massacure, in which my father destroys hundreds of Muggles at once.  Don't you agree?"  Fudge looked taken aback.  "Ok, I think, I see your point, well done.  Is there anything else you wish to add?"  Kiara thought,  "Yes, as a matter of fact, there is.  I don't quite understand, why you let, sorry Draco, Mr. MAlfoy go unchecked.  You know, he is my fathers, right hand man and, you do nothing to stop him.  Why?"  Dumbledore smiled as Fudge stumbled over an answer.  Then Dumbledore said, "It is simple, Kaira.  I'm suprised you hadn't figured it out on your own.  We need Lucius.  You need Lucius.  With out him, we would not have been able to get you inside so, easily.  If we take him out now ---"  Kiara cut him short, "He'll know I've been spying."  she finished the sentence for him.  Dumbledore smiled at her.  "Well. if ther eis nothing more, I must get back to the Ministry."  Mr. Fudge left.  "Have a seat, Kaira."  Dumbledore said.  Kiara did as he asked.

"I know what you did this summer, to that Muggle.  Professor Snape informed me."  Dumbledore said, holding eye contact with her.  "I realize the circumstances and understand why.  My question is, how do you feel about it?"  Kiara looked questionaly at Professor Snape.  "We'll get to that in a moment, Kiara.  First, please answer my question."  Said Dumbledore, noting her confused look directed towards Snape.  Kiara thought a moment before answering her godfather.  "Well, I guess, I really don't feel anything about it.  Not pain or sorrow or even pride or happieness.  I don't feel anything because, quite honestly, I did not do it, not consiously, anyway."  Dumbledore looked questionaly at her.  "How to explain"  She paused, "Well, take an actor for example.  When they play a part, they quite litteraly, if they are good, become that other person.  Writers are very much the same.  That is what I have done.  I have created an alternate me.  When, my father askes me to do somthing that, I don't think I could do then, I, free this other person, this other, me.  I must say though, she's a tough one to get rid of after I'm done with her.  Now, about Professor Snape."  Snape explained how he too was spying for the Ministry and Dumbledore.  How he, had been a Deatheater from the start of Voldamorts reign.  "That's how I knew, Kiara, I was there."  Kiara smiled.  "Oh good, now I know that I have at least two people on my side when I'm out playing with daddy."  Draco shook his head slowly.  "You mean to tellme that, you've been with us the whole time and didn't even bother to let us know?  Thanks."
"If we would have told you, would you have been able to react the same way or, would Kiara had not done, what her father ordered her to do, in hopes that Professor Snape would stepp in and stop it?"  Dumbledore asked.  Draco nodded his understanding.  "Good then, go, get some rest, tomarrow classes start.  But first, let me see your ring, Kiara."  Kiara looked shocked.  "How'd you find out?"  Dumbledore smiled at Draco.  "Draco sent me an owl asking if it would be ok with me."  Kiara showed him her ring.  "Good, it's almost as pretty as you are, almost."  Dumbledore smiled.  Kiara hugged him.  "Good night godfather."  Then, Kiara and Draco left, after Snape.

They sat together on the couch.  "I guess I should go to the girls dorm, now."  Kiara sighed.  Not wanting to leave Draco, just yet.  "I'll miss you."  Then, she got up and went to bed.  Draco sat in front of the fire for a while.  She didn't even tell them about the present from her father, maybe, she forgat.  He convinced himself.  Then, Draco got up and went to bed.

(Ch.2  The Right Decision)

Kiara met Draco the next morning, in the common room, before breakfast.  "Morning, How'd you sleep?"  She asked.  "Not well at all.  Seams to have been somthing missing in my bed, last night."  He smiled at her.  "Oh, really?  Maybe, you could barrow my snake tonight.  He likes to cuddle."  She laughed.  "Uh, no thanks."  Pansy came down and the three of them, followed by Crabbe and Goyle, of course, went up to breakfast.

They ran into Harry, ron and Hermione on their way into the hall.  "You three go ahead and sit down, we'll be along in a bit."  Kiara said to Pansy, Crabbe and Goyle.  The three looked questionaly but, obeyed and left.  "Morning."  Harry said.  "Any news?"
"No, none yet.  Mr. Fudge just wanted the scoop, that's all."  Kiara replied.  Ron gave Kiara a Haunted look then, went and sat down to wait for Harry and Hermione.  "What's up with Weasley?  No remarks today?  I'm hurt."  Draco said, with mock concern.  "Oh Malfoy, ,your absolutely horrid."  Hermione replied then, she went and joined Ron.  "Harry, we'll talk more later, ok.  I'm starved."  Kiara said with a smile.  The thre went in their seperate directions to join their friends.

"I bet Malfoy was glad I left."  Ron said peevishly.  "Actually, Ron, I think he was looking forward to a good argument.  I think, you let him down."Hermione replied, trying to make light of the situation.  "Well, at least I deprived him of something."  Ron gave a little smile.  The owls came swooping into the hall.  They dropped off their class scheduals.  "Look, we've got potions, last.  Oh, well, nothing like a terible ending to your day."  Ron said.  "Ya, maybe Snape will team me up with someone besides, Pansy, this time."  Hermione replied.  Harry laughed.  "That's doudtfull."  "Hey, who's are new Defence against the Dark Arts teacher, this year?"  Ron asked, trying to keep his mind  off potions.  "It says, her name is Professor Nina Ellis."  Hermione answerd.  "Hope she's interesting."

Defence against the Dark Arts was their second to last class of the day.  Ron, Harry and Hermione seated themselves in the front ans waited patiently for class to start.  A tall, rather pretty, witch came down into the classroom.  "Hello, my name is Professor Ellis.  I'm your new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.  From what I understand, you've had quite a few over htese last years.  I don't plan on going anywere so, I hope we get along."  She looked out over the class.  Then, to everyones astonoshment, she whipped out her wand "Stupefy"  she stunned Seamus.  "Tsk tsk tsk.  Sixth year ands can't even stop a stun spell.  Well, look like I've got my work cut out for me."  SHe walked over to sSeamus  "Ennervate."  she unstunned him.

After class was over and, they were in the hall, Ron said "Bloody Evil, that one.  She stunned the whole class, some of us twice!"  Hermione was smiling.  "What's up with you?  Don't tell me that you actually like her!"  Ron said looking at Hermione as if she were carzy.  "She's got to be the toughest Defence teacher we've ever had, of course Hermione likes her."  Harry laughed.  Hermione didn't mind, he was right, after all.

Kiara Johnson

All though Ron tried to walk slow, they still made it to the dungeon class room, were potions was held, a few minutes early.  The Slytherins were already there.  Harry noted that his sister looked far better than she did this morning and yesturday, on the train.  He smiled a greeting at her.  Kiara returned his smile.  Hermione smiled at her as well.  Kiara happily returned that smile.  She really, missed Hermione.  Ron just stared at the ground until Snape arrived to let them into class.

"Ok, we're going to get you all partnered up early this year, we've got a verry busy schedual so, lets get atarted."  He glanced around the room.  "Potter, your with Malfoy, Granger, you and Parkinson, Weasley, your with Maul..."  He continued this way until everyone was with a partner.  Ron sullenly walked over to sit with Kiara.  He noted, that she looked angry.  Snape had finished paring them all up and noticed Kiara's angry look in his direction.  "Is there a problem with your partner, Maul?"  He asked in a dangerouse tone.  Kiara said, with out loosing eye contact or her angry expresion, "No sir, no proplem at all."  Snape paused then, turned away and got class started.  Potions was miserable, not only for Ron but, Kiara as well.  Ron only spoke when he was asked as to rahter he would like to cut the daisy stems or measure the frog bile.  He chose the stems.

After class, Kiara got up, pushing her chair back roughly and, giving Snape a dirty look, she stormed out of the class.  "Well, that didn't go well at all, did it."  Harry said to ARon, watching his sister storm out of the room.  "See Harry,I told you she hated me."  Ron replied, rather sullenly.  "If it's any consulation, Weasley, no she doesn't."  Draco replied as he walked past and out of the room.  "What's his story?"  Ron asked Harry, as he watched Draco leave.  "Ya, Harry, Draco actualy said somthing, well, noce to Ron.  Have any ideas?"  Hermione asked, as the three of them walked out of class.  Harry smiled, "I think, Draco has done some serious growing up, over the summer.  He's had a lot of responsability put on him."  Hermione looked at Harry, "You know, Harry.  I believe your right."  Ron just shook his head in confusion and continued on in silence.

Kiara Johnson

Kiara came through the porthole and went to the nearest table and slammed her books down uponit.  The huddle of first years standing nearby jumped and stared at her.  Kiara turned on them just as Draco came in.  "What are you staring at!"  She growled at the first years.  "Kiara, don't take it out on them."  Draco said calmly.  She turned to face him.  "What does he think he's playing at!?!  Teaming me up with Weasley.  Does he have any idea as to how much of a bad dicision that was?  Is he trying to punish me for something, What?"  Draco didn't have an answer for any of her questions.  Truth was, he didn't know why Snape did it, knowing how those two didn't get along.  "Kiara, lets go for a walk.  You need to calm down.  Getting angry with Professor Snape like this isn't a good thing, even if your in Slytherin."  Kiara relaxed, a little.  "Ok, lets go."

Draco took Kiara down to the lake.  They walked along the edge, clear to the other side.  Kiara was ranting the whole time about the unfairness of being paired with Ron.  "I don't know, Kiara but, Snape must have his reasons.  Maybe, he just gets off on seeing people suffer or somthing."  Just then, they heard some one scream.  Kiara turned, too late, the beast had grabbed her, knocking Draco to the ground.  It flew upwards over the lake with Kiara in it's claws.

Harr, Ron and Hermione had come out side just then.  They ran towards the lake.  Hermione took out her wand  "Expelliarmus!"  She hit the monster and it dropped Kiara into the lake.  Before anyone could react, Ron had already thrown both his shoes and his robe aside and was diving into the lake after her.

Harry and Hermione looked questionaly at one another, both shocked by what Ron had done.  Then, they quickly ran to the edge of the lake and waited.

Ron dived several times before finally emerging with iara in his grasp.  He got her to shore, she wasn't breathing.  Ron took out his wand and pointed it at her chest,  "Breath"  He said with great emotion.  Kiara started sputtering and coughing up water.  Then, she took a deep breath, opened her eyes and smiled at Ron and passed out again.  Ron quickly took her up and went, as fast as he could, to the hospital.  "You go with them, I'll get Malfoy."  Harry told Hermione.  Harry walked over to Draco who, lay there unconcious.  "Mobilarbus."  Draco's body hoverd in the air.  Harry grabbed his cloak and pulled him to the hospital.

When he arrived, Madam Pomfrey took over and got Draco put to bed.  Professor Dumbledore was there, talking with Professor Ellis.  "What do you make of it, Nina?"  Dumbledore asked.  "I'm not sure, Albus but, I do know that Dragonites are not poisonouse and do not normaly attack people.  Espesialy in a crowded area.  They are usualy quite shy creatures."  Madam Pomfrey had just finished administring somthing to the unconsious draco.  She took both Dumbledore and Ellis aside and told them somthing that Harry couldn't hear.  She however, looked like she was quite upset about, somthing.  Harry and Hermione went and sat with Ron, next to Kiara.  No one said anything, they just watched her.  After a bit, Madam Pomfrey shooed them out.  "I want to stay with her."  Ron argued.  Madam Pomfrey looked at Dumbledore.  "let Mr. Weasley stay.  He can let us know of any changes."  Madam Pomfrey shrugged.  "Ok but, you come get one of us as soon as, or if, there is any change.  Understand."  Ron nodded.  Madam Pomfrey left with the others.  Harry and Hermione told Ron that they would meet him at dinner as they were walking out.

Ron had heard what Madam Pomfrey said and, it made him really worried.  She had told them that the antidote she used would work just fine on Draco but, she wasn't so sure about Kiara.  Something abbout differences in witches and wizards chemestry compared to that of a sorceress.  She gave Draco another four to five hours before he would wake.  Kiara, was unkown if she would come out of it at all.

Ron sat down and took Kiara's left hand and heldit.  He stared at the ring on her finger.  That ring taunted him.  It seemed to be mocking him, as if Draco himself were telling him he had, once again been denied of somthing he wanted.  Ron took the ring off her finger and threw it against the far wall.  He turned and looked at Draco angrily.  "You don't deserve her.  You can't even keep her safe"  He said quietly.  Then he turned back to Kiara, leand over and kissed her.  He sat there staring at her for a while then, got up and crossed the room to were the ring was, now lying on the floor.  He stood there looking at it, thinking before he finally picked it back up.  He went back and slid the ring back on her finger.  "I think, I'm ready to be friends again.  Just please wake up."  he said saddly.  A teer rolled down his cheek.  He quickly whiped it away.  Ron sat there holding her hand and talking to her for several hours.  Then, he turned back to Draco again.  "You had best start taking better care of her or I'll ---"  He didn't finish.  He got up, kissed Kiara and left.

Draco had woken up and heard what Ron had said.  He was angry at first but, decided that it was alright.  "Atleast, he'll be nicer to Kiara now"  He thought to himself.

Kiara Johnson

When Draco started to sit up, his head began pounding.  He sat up anyway and just sat ther until, the pounding subsided a little.  He got up and stumbled over to Kiara's side and sat down.  He put his head on her shoulder and then, he passed out again.

Harrywas dreaming again.  There were two wizards talking.  He knew one of them would be Salazar but, who was the other?  "Salazar, you did it again and at what cost adn why poisen them?  It just makes no sence."  The unknown wizard was saying.  "It brought her protector out of his self loathing, didn't it?  She'll be alright, you just wait and see.  Albus will take care of that."  Salziar replied loftily.  He turned and looked at Harry and smiled.  As soon as he smiled, Harry woke up, looked around the room and noticed Ron still hadn't come to bed so, Harry got up and went down to the common room.  Ron was there sitting by the fire.  He was reading a Quidditch magazine.

"Any change?"  Harry asked, sitting in the chair next to Ron.  "No, and I'm not sure ther is going to be, for Kiara anyway."  Ron related what Madam Pomfrey had said.  When he had finished, Harry told him about the dream he just had.  Ron stared at him in dissbelief.  "You don't think they were talking about me, do you?"  Harry shook his head.  "I don't know what it means Ron but, they basicly said what you just told me.  I think maybe, it's time to take these dreams to Dumbledore.  Maybe, he can make some sence out of them."  Harry replied.  "Anyway, you do seem to be in a better mood.  What happened since I left you with Kiara?"  Harry asked.  Ron smiled.  "I finally decided to be friends again.  It's wierd, as soon as I conciously made that decision, it was like a huge weight had been lifted off me."  Harry smiled.  "I'm going back to bed  You staying up?"  Ron shook his head.  "No, I think I should go too.  I think I'll sleep good tonight."

(Chapter #  Chess pieces)

The next morning after breakfast, Harry, Ron and Hermione went up to visit Kiara.  When they got there, Draco was awake but, Kaira still wasn't.

"Has she woken up at all, Draco?"  Harry asked.  "No, she won't wake-up."  Draco said,  He looked really upset about it.  Hermione went over to Kaira and brushed her hair out of her face.  "She's burning up!  Some one get Madam Pomfrey, quickly!"  Ron took off to her office.  They came back quickly, Madam Pomfrey checked her over and administered some sort of medication to her.  Then, conjered up an ice pack and told Hermione to hold it on her forehead.  "If, her temprature stays up for more than five minutes, come and get me.  I need to look somthing up in my office."  She turned and left.

"Why isn't she waking up?"  asked Draco.  Harry looked at Ron who, reluctantly explained the reason to Draco.  Draco paled.  "You mean ---"  Just at that moment, Professor Dumbledore came in, followed by, Lucius Malfoy.  "I think, you three need to go to class."  Dumbledore told Harry, Ron and Hermione.  They all three looked at Lucius and back to Dumbledore.  "Now."  Dumbledore said in a comanding tone.  They all three look questionaly at him as they walked out the door.

Madam Pomfrey came back into the room.  "Lucius>"  She nodded curtly.  Lucius just smirked at her.  "So, having a problem, are we?"  Lucius said in a rather lofty tone.  "You said, you could possibly help her, Lucius.  Please, ltes be civil and take care of what's needed.  Then, you two can fire all the insults at each other that you want."  Dumbledore said, looking at the two of them.  "Oh, all right then here, give her this."  Lucius handed a vile to Madam Pomfrey.  "What is it?"  she asked, suspiciously.  "Don't ask questions, just give it to her."  Lucius said.  "I will not --"
"Poppy, just give it to her.  I'm sure that Lucius wouldn't give his future Daughter-in-law, anything that might kill her."  Dumbledore interupted.  "Ok but, if this -----"  she mumbled the rest so that no one could understand.  It was probably for the best, she was really angry.  "She'll be fine, after a bit.  You would think however, knowing you have a student attending here who's, genetic make-up is different than the rest, there would be proper staff to handle something like this.  I will of course, report it."  Lucius said in an offhand manner.  "Of course, Lucius."  Dumbledore replied.

There'll be no angels gracing their lives
Just these stark words I find
I'd show a smile but I'm too weak
I'd share with you could I only speak
Just how much this hurts me"
