Bodies are strewn, theres at least one half giants corpse, and other bodies of varying sizes on the ground, both good and bad.*

"The War is Over." The three little words that come from Devons mouth would shake the wizarding community like nothing else since the fall of voldemorte the second time. "28 hours ago, wizards and members of other magical species closed ranks and came to the last visage of power for the man known as Fenrir Greyback and his supporters. After nearly a full day of combat, and the apparent disappearance of Fenrir and at least 8 of his pack, a parlay was requested by his now former Allies.

In a carefully worded settlement Parole was granted to each member of Fenrir's allies, with a garuntee that they would cease the hostilities. In return, Representatives from both sides will return to the table of diplomacy in good faith, one week from today. A week of national mourning has been called for those on both sides of this conflict, so we can mourn our deceased and see to our injured."

Devon stopped after a moment and repeated the three little words. "The War is Over" He exclaimed loudly, and there was near mass hysteria behind him cheers from both sides of the fight went up.

Devon went out for his daily run on the beach, it had been a day since he had arrived on the islands for his summer vacation. He was expecting at least a couple of people to show up from Hogwarts, whether flying, appaporating, or actually taking the muggle flight.

Devon stood in front of a full length mirror and straightened his dress robes, he hadn't had the time to get new ones for Hogwarts so he wore his old ones that he had used during the christmas ball before. They still for the most part fit, and the fashion was still the same, for the most part. He then started working on his hair, god it was unmanageable.

Leans back in his chair in the Ravenclaw commonroom. and smiled, today was his birthday, his seventeenth, he was now of age.

I actually have to give it to lady playing Umbridge.....good god that woman could make you shiver in your seat.

Cameron is a rather handsome bleach blone fellow who likes to compare himself to the Surfer Dudes of the United States state of California or Florida. He is about 6'3" tall and weighs around 205 pounds of suntanned muscle, He has emerald green eyes with brown specks and for a large period of the time likes to wear his hair long.

Personality:

Cameron is well known to the teachers of Hogwarts, he, tho never showing contempt for any teacher in particular, was a troublemaker. A few people even thinks he would be one to join the Death Eaters had he even had a speck of true wizarding blood in him. He is well versed in Occlumancy and defense against the dark arts, as well as healing spells.

He has a certain contempt for authority, and does study many things that could be considered dark. However, that study was meant to prepare himself for anything he ran into while he drifted from one country to the next around the globe.

History:

Cameron ran away from an abusive house when he was just 9 years old and stowed away on a tramp freighter heading for the United states. He was caught by the crew and forced to work for the captain for a year and a half, and forcibly returned home to england. Where he was found on the docks by one Professor Serverus Snape, Snape recognized his potential imediately and basically dragged him to see Professor Dumbledore.

He was then given a place at hogwarts, where he continued to have a checkered past, he was sorted into Slytherin and placed under Snapes whim. He was in detention more then he was ever at class, however, somehow he managed to pass his classes, and ended up with 7 OWLs in his fifth year. He went onto his last two years where he seemed to blend into the background rather then get into trouble then graduated.

Since graduating he has traveled the world seeing its wonders and running with the strangest creatures around. Even managing to work it out that he was allowed to spend some time with European mountain giants. But that only lasted for about 4 months before neither him nor the giants seemed to really wish each others presense around the other. He seemed to leave them with at least some well wishes, and moved on.

Then he heard about the World Quidditch Cup and Triwizard tournament fiasco's and then finally about the return of You-Know-Who, and he decided it was time for him to come back.

Devon McGonagall is a well built young man, relatively muscular with long black hair thats usually tied into a ponytail that hangs pretty far down his back. He has incredably light blue eyes and usually is well dressed. It is hard to find him at any point in time where he is dressed sloppily, the only time that may be is after a long practice of Quidditch or an equally long game of Quidditch, and even then he seems to have a certain air of style.

Personality:

Like so many people Devon had lost loved ones in the war against 'he who must not be named', but unlike many people he doesn't flinch at the name, nor does he back off saying the name Voldemort. He has a reckless side, which is really well shown in a Quidditch game, were he spends more time off his broom flying through the air then on it. He, like his aunt, is a staunch supporter of Albus Dumbledore, and also like his aunt, will support the headmaster of Hogwarts to his last breath. Why? because he knows its the right thing to do.

McGonagall family, For the most part he doesnt know much of his family with the exception of his aunt who he met for the first time while accompanying the members of the Durstang school to Hogwarts in his fourth year. He knew of her, and he had written her on a couple of occasions, but till then he hadnt met any member of his family. He was 3 years old when he was adopted by a squib family in the final days of the war against Voldemort, after his mother was killed and his father disappeared, believed to be one of the followers of Voldemort who couldn't bring himself to kill his pure blood son.

Devon is, much like Harry, a victim of the war against voldemort. His mother was a sister of Minerva McGonagall and his father, an influential man in the ministry of magic in Brittain. However, Voldemorte had gotten to his father and drawn him over to the dark side of magic. Towards the end of the war, his betrayal had been found out and his wife was to turn him in soon, she tried to do that in secret but she couldn't and he found out. He had no qualms at killing her as she openly fought against the dark lord, however when it came time to kill Devon he found he could not.

Instead he sent an owl to Minerva and fled into the country-side, his were-a-bouts are still unknown, however it is believed that he has returned to Voldemorte. Either that or he has long since joined his wife in death. After Devon was recovered by Minerva, he was sent to live with a Squib family in canada, where he grew up knowing what happened to his mother and what happened during those terrible times. He has long since sworn his revenge on his father, and on the dark lord himself if he can get the chance.

Devon has spent the greater portion of his years in north america, living not far from the border in canada. He then went to school at the North American Academy of witchcraft, just outside of Salem New York, in the United states. He learned how to play quidditch on the local scene and in his third year was invited to be an exchange student to Durmstrang, his year there turned even more interesting when he accompanied the other members of the school to Hogwarts for the tri-wizard tournament.

Devon is pretty old for being in the fifth year, sixteen and turning seventeen just a few months after the new year, but that was mostly due to the tie up he had when he transferred to Durmstang. He should actually be in the sixth year, but he doesnt seem to mind, he is meeting very interesting people and getting to play Quidditch against some of the futures best ever players.
